Unable to compare the same program in different systems

Hi,
We have a Development & QA system (apart from Production). Now for a program that is in both, Dev & QA, I wanted to compare them using SE37. I clicked on "Compare Different Systems" button. Now I selected the program from Dev for Left-Justified & from QA for Right. When I hit the "Display" button, it gave me the following error message:
Error remote access: Error during the retrieval of the logon data store.
Can anyone help me with this?

Hi Jack,
I went to SM59 & double clicked on my RFC (that I thought would work). It took me to the RFC destination config. screen & it showed me the following message:
User password invalid for identifier /RFC/---- (see long text)
( the dotted lines denote the RFC name )
It's not shown with a red cross mark. It's shown with a Green tick mark. So how do I correct this now & be able to compare the proram? Please let me know.

SSDT Schema Compare keeps showing the same objects as different..

Hi,
When comparing a database to my project using Visual Studio 2012 SSDT I get several stored procedures marked as changed. The body of the procedures is identical, but two properties are highlighted as different when expanding the object:
IsSelf (false on the DB vs true on the project) and User (dbo on the DB, needs to be added to the project).
The procedures have the option "with execute as self" both in the database and in the project as part of the body.
I have not found what needs to be done so these differences are applied to the project and never appear again. Tried changing some options on the schema compare but didn't found one that help.
Some forum suggested dropping the objects and re-creating them but I don't want to loose the history of changes on TFS.
Any suggestions?

Browsing different windows in the same program

Hello, I'm new to mac os and I love it. I know that I can switch between different programs with the apple+tab key.
But how can I easily switch between two windows of the same program? i.e. when I open 2 internet browser windows...

Note: Apple no longer refers to the  key in keyboard shortcuts, but rather calls this the Command key and refers to it using the ⌘ symbol in keyboard shortcuts. That symbol is formally known as the "place of interest sign" or colloquially as a "propeller." So:

Compare programs in different systems

I'd like to know if there is an easy way to compare SAP programs across systems. It is the same program, but I'm NOT talking about version management in the same system with the nice compare that it offers. We specifically would like to use something for e.g. RFC connect to the other system and compare content of a specific program in both.

Use ABAP Splitscreen Editor (SE39) to compare your program in one system with the other. For example, compare the program in the Development System with that in the TEST System. Do this from the Development System. A RFC needs to be defined to the Test/Other system. On the ABAP Splitscreen Editor, click on the button Compare different systems and give the RFC destination of the TEST/Other system. When on the Editor, click compare, to compare the programs.

SPOOL_INTERNAL_ERROR spool overflow when submitting the same program

I am submitting the same program via job with different seletion screen values after JOB_OPEN, and then SUBMIT statement and JOB_CLOSE FM. But this job get cancelled with message "ABAP/4 processor: SPOOL_INTERNAL_ERROR" . The submit is as follows:
SUBMIT (sy-repid) USER sy-uname
         VIA JOB 'ZTP_SAl_REG_MONITOR_JOBS'
         NUMBER l_jobcount
         TO SAP-SPOOL
         SPOOL PARAMETERS fp_user_print_params

Is it possible to use the same program to be scheduled....Let me include that the submit is happening with rb_monit = X and it has separate branch...so infinite looping can not happen.

I hope that the flag is ensuring that it doesnt go into infinite loop. You may wish to check that once bcz Spool overflow seems to be bcz of infinite loop or bcz of layout issue.
Goto SP01 in the same client where you have scheduled the job.
Check the spool no. which was generated bcz of the job.
Double click on the STATUS of the spool ( it should be in red background color).
System will give a popup with status details.
Again double click on the status. System will again give a popup.
The popup will give the details of why the spool ran into errors.
Also check the layout.

Install many executable on the same PC with different names

Hello,
I'm trying to install several executables with different names in the same computer but at the end of install process the message is : "an higher or existing version is already installed in this computer"
I create the Executable and Setup with LabVIEW Application Builder and install the executable in the same Program Files root directory with a different sub-directory for each executable as this : Program Files-->MyProject-->SubProjet1 with exe1/SubProject2 with exe2 etc...
My OS is WinXP pro SP2 and I work with LabVIEW 8.5.

From what I understand, you are trying to create multiple executables of a vi project to co-exist on the same PC. Any time you re-use the LabView 8.x project file, it will generate
install package with the same product ID number. That means, if the
deployed PC has the previous version installed, which had been
generated from the same project file, the new install package will
remove the previous version and overwrite it with the new version. Or as in your case, not allow you to install lower versions of the executable. That
means, the previous version will be no longer available on the deployed
PC. If you are creating an upgraded version to the product this is
fine.
However, if you need to re-use the LabView 8.x project
file and generate a new product, which can potentially co-exist with
the previous on the end user PC, you need to generate a new installer
with a different product ID number. One of the way to do it:
Copy existing project file (e.g. "name1.lvproj") under a different name (e.g. "name2.lvproj")
Open the new instance of the project
Expand the "Build Specifications"
Right click on the installer specification, e.g. "name1 Installer"
Select "Duplicate" from the menu
You can now delete the instance "name1 Installer" and rename the "Copy of name1 Installer" to a suitable name, e.g. "name2 Installer"
Make changes that are needed between the two versions, for example:
Select a new source VI
Build a new exe file
Reflect the new exe file in the "name2 Installer"
Make
any other changes needed in "name2 Installer", for example different
documentation files included in install, change in the target install
directories, changes in the start menu shortcuts. etc.
Build the install.

How to assign the same GTIN for different material?

I've managed to install an internal number assignment for the GTIN / EAN in material master which works fine.
Now we need to assign the same GTIN to different material numbers.
Since the defined number range is marked as internal I cannot use this number range as the external number range in spro -> Define Attributes of EANs/UPCs (number categories/EAN categories):
I cannot make an external number range with the same data as the internal one, since number ranges must not overlap.
So, here is the question again:
How can I achieve that 1. the GTIN is generated and 2. a GTIN, which is already assigned to another material, can be entered manually in the GTIN field?

This should be "external" number range only.

We can enter manually or thru' upload during master data creation provided number range is "external"(refer point no.1 above)
Unable to understand that why you need same GTIN in two different articles?
Request to understand the business process once again as this leads to confusion reg. inventory, PDC and PoS dumping.

No. You need to buy it for your Apple ID and for the other. You will have problems with updates

1 app, 3 devices, 1 iCloud - how can I run the same game on different devices?

My wife and I share one iTunes account and one iCloud account for 2 iPhone 5's and an iPad. Our home laptop is a PC running windows 7. Go to iTunea>Preferences>Devices and see if there is a backupright at the time you did the update. Then try restoring from that backup. If the apps are in your iTunes library, any app data will be restored to the iPod.
When restoring from an iOS 4 (or later) backup, if the device had a passcode set, iTunes will ask if you want to set a passcode (and remind you that you had protected your device with a passcode). iTunes will not ask you to set a passcode when restoring from iOS 3.x and prior backups.
Therefore, remembe the passcode that you enter this time.
It appears that if you restore from a backup, that backup is not subseqyently overwritten by the next backup.

How can I use the "Copy and paste" tool in order get stamps in the same position in different pages (Acrobat XI for PC)?

With Acrobat 6.0 I was able to copy a stamp in the same position (I mean "exactly" the same one) of different pages just by using the "copy/past" tool.
Now I am using Acrobat XI and it seems like it is not possible anymore: I am copying a stamp and I am trying to past it in anoter page, but it appears in the center of the page (or wherever it wants to...).
Does anyone have a solution?

You may try moving ur librarie to the folder /Users/shared if and link it to iphoto from there
You may locate and link libraries from arkiv-->change library in iphoto
