Unable to create control record

Hi,
I have created a payroll area and tried to create control record for it. Given payroll period as 01.2010 and earliest retro acctg period as 12.2010. When I click on create, it is saying "The record is not found in T549Q." But I have generated payroll periods and it exists in the table.
How to solve this?

Hi Veera,
as sagar mentioned please keep in mind its one "Period" less that need to be given.
and system automatically increments by one when its released for payroll
when you give 12.2010 then retro accounting begins on the start date of this period at the earliest
any changes made before this date the system woudnt take it into account for current and future retro accounting.
however only if the earliest personal retroactive accounting date thats maintained in IT0003 differs only then it will be backdated to the later date.

Can't open Quicktime: "Error: Unable to create control"

Okay, my problem is that I want to put movies on my new Ipod Touch, and to do that I need to use Itunes to Convert my files to MP4. I have found out that some of my .MPG files can be used, but some of the others can't and thats the same with my .AVI files. I have found a program to convert these .MPG and .AVI files into MP4 files for Ipod. But I found out that it needs Quicktime Player to do that, and unfortunately my Quicktime doesn't work, I don't know why I just can't even get a screen of the program up. When I try to open the program, after a little amount of time an Error window opens and says "Unable to create control" I have tried to delete both Quicktime and Itunes at same time and also just one at a time, I have tried to take an older version of Quicktime and install it, but no matter what I do it just won't work.
Can somebody please help me?

So I tried to uninstall the real Quicktime and install the alternative instead. But either the program MPEG Streamclip can't see that I have removed Quicktime or that I have removed the old one.
Every time I put an .avi file into the program it can only convert about 1:30min of the movie and that is only with the sound no movie, and if I put one of the .MPG (that Itunes can't convert) in an error box pops up and says:
*The Apple QuickTime 6 MPEG-2 Playback Component is not installed...*
Please uninstall QuickTime completely. Then install QuickTime Alternative (1.61 or later), making sure the "Extra QuickTime plugins checkbox is enable.
Alternatively, if you have Apple QuicktTime and you don't want to uninstall it, you can buy MPEG-2 Playback Component from Apple Computer.
I think this is a bit sad cause I just bought the new Ipod Touch and I can't put the movies I like the most.

Error - Unable to Create Control

While attempting to update Quicktime/iTunes, I encounter the issue of Error - Unable to Create Control right near the end of the installation. I can't find any recommendations in the Apple Support, any users able to assist me? Much thanks to everyone!

"Unable to create control" error

I have installed Quicktime 7.13. There were some installation issues revolving around the inability to uninstall the older version, which required editing registry keys to allow deletion. At last the install went without errors. The icon appears in the task tray.
However, whenever I try to start the QT player, the Error window "Unable to create control" appears. If I click OK, the GUI appears, but I get the same error if I try to open a .mov file. Whenever I try to open a jpg or bmp in the Picture viewer, I get a window stating "Couldn't display [six or seven gibberish characters.]
I need some direction on these symptoms. Thanks.

I had the same problem after installing QuickTime 7.1.3 through the iTunes version 7 download. I could run iTunes OK, but when I tried to start QuickTime I received the "Unable to create control" error in my user ID which has admin privileges and which was used for the install. My son's user ID, which does not have admin privileges, ran iTunes and Quicktime with no problems.
I finally decided to remove QuickTime using my user ID and using the Windows Add/Remove Programs function in the Control Panel. I then downloaded QuickTime without iTunes from the Apple website and re-installed it. It now works fine in both my user ID and my son's ID.
I'm not an expert on this stuff, but maybe uninstalling and re-installing QuickTime could solve your issue, too.

Unable to create new records with FOX formula (IP)

Dear Guys,
We created a FOX formula that could not create any records within an empty infocube (got 0 records read, 0 created, 0 changed, 0deleted). how to change this formula to make sure record are created?
DATA K_0FISCPER3 TYPE 0FISCPER3.
FOREACH K_0FISCPER3 IN SELECTION.

Internal Data Objects and Address
The internal data objects that are edited are subsets of the transaction data contained in the planning package. The user executes a planning function by selecting a package and a parameter group. This package is divided into smaller data objects made up of transaction data. If a formula requires reference data, these data objects are also created from this reference data. Note: If it is not possible to create data objects, a formula is not executed.

Error during creating a control record

Hi Experts,
we are using EEC6.03 version.
system error..
Change before earliest retro. date 01.03.2010 acc. to control rec. to py area CO
Error-
While creating Control Record, system takes advance period.
example-
We have given present payroll period as 12.2009, and earliest retro active accounting peroid as 10.2009,
then system takes the date 01.03.2010.
Actually System should take present payroll period as 01.12.2009, But is shows as 01.03.2010. I am unable to understand.
Please Help me out Guys.

Hi,
It seems that your payroll periods are screwed up. To check that please check table V_T549Q (SM30) and see if period corresponds to dates. Period parameter is assigned to payroll area in table V_T549A.
Then if it is wrong you can regenerate them using transaction OG00. Please read report help thoroughly.

2. create an idoc and assign segment to it tcode we30.
3.crate a message type tcode we81
4.assign that message to idoc tcode we 82.
do the ale configarations .
now u can write the code in our sender system

Control records - Payroll Period

Hi,
First you have to understand the concept of payroll period. Payroll period is generated using period parameter and date modifier. Payroll period defines the exact start and end date of a period and the pay day. Here it defines the period number, which is very important to identify for which payroll period you are currently with. To make it clear let us have an example. A company is paying a group of employees monthly. In a year there are twelve months, so every payroll period is given a number. If the payroll period is for jan 01 to jan 31, 2011. It would be indicated as payroll period 01 in the year 2011. It should be generated before using it in control record. Based on your start and end date of the period, you have to enter those values. Check the table v_t549q to check whether the required payroll periods exists or not. If available use the relevant payroll period. Note that the payroll period used to create the payroll control records must be one period before the period in which you want to go live. Eg. If you are to go live in period 05,2011. You must enter period 04,2005 in the control record. To generate payroll period use the tcode OG00

Hi,
The info like (SNDPRN) which has to be providen by Biztalk in the IDoc control of their Idoc are these ones that YOU defined in the ALE config (tx WE20) of your ECC, to accept this IDoc (idoc message / idoc type) from Biztalk.
If your ALE config is not yet created in your ECC, you have to do it. For instance, check in WE20 (partner profile) the ALE config of your other systems, and in WE02 (Idoc log) to see the content of an IDoc Control, by selecting an inbound Idoc.
Do not hesitate to use WE19 to test an idoc integration, as you have to fill the idoc control manually. By this way you will sure be of what info Biztalk has to put inside their IDoc control (EDI_DC40).

Previously, I had unregistered the target schema from "OWB Runtime Audit Browser" logging as a QA user and registered to a new schema from OWB DEPLOYMENT MANAGER.
I am able to deploy the mapping from Owb Deployment Manager and the deployment goes OK.
I have also gone through the links:

But, did not find the solution.
When I execute the mapping from Owb Deployment Manager after right clicking on it, it is working fine. But, above execution method is not working.
We want to run the mappings in the above way, because all our mappings in our other projects are running fine in the above sql run procedure.
Can you please help me out, how to fix the above errors?

Since the other threads do not apply, you've gotten yourself into a strange situation.
I'm not familiar with the method you use to run the mapping, have you tried running the mapping using the SQL-template that OWB provides or - like I do - the run_my_owb_stuff script provided by the OWB time? If not, could you try that please?
Apart from that, I don't have any experience with your exact error message so it's hard to share anything concrete, I can only suggest things. Maybe there are other users on this forum that do, who knows...
If you want concrete support, log a TAR with Metalink, they are obligated to help you if you have a CSI :-)

Unable to create connection to Application Server Control from JDev

Hi All,
I am unable to create connection to Application Server Control of SOA Suite from JDeveloper and getting following error:
Error getting OC4J Process for: opmn-home+oc4j-<hostname>-<OPMN Port>-default:
Error connecting to OPMN (is it running?): Connection refused: connect
I restarted all OPMN processes...still getting the same error.

Hi.
I got a similar error sometime ago.
It was related to OPMN not getting bound to the correct server IP. It happened because my SOA Suite was installed in one machine that does not have a fixed IP (or uses loopback adapter) and then I tried to connect to this SOA Suite from another machine, using JDev.
I checked this by running "opmnctl debug". then you can see on what IP the opmn is listening on.
Didn't know how to solve this.

We are currently in the process of upgrading our repository from 9.0.2.56.0 to 9.2.0.2.8 and we have moved our mappings into new repository by importing an MDL file. We have successfully deployed a mapping from new repository but when we attempt to execute this mapping using:

Alright, here's the work around for this, I'm also using the following to run mapping.
DECLARE
RetVal NUMBER;
P_ENV WB_RT_MAPAUDIT.WB_RT_NAME_VALUES;
BEGIN

RetVal := SCHEMA.MAPPING.MAIN ( P_ENV );
END;
My mapping was running fine until I have tried to deploy it under a different location.
Somehow OWB Runtime remembered my old location and was confused between the two. That's why you see this error.
Option 1.
Rewrite your mapping, this is ok if it's a small mapping.
Option 2.
1. Export your mapping(s) (MDL file)
2. Delete your mapping from the repository.
3. Import a backup of your mapping before the second location was created. (It’s doesn't matter if it's a old backup)
(At that point you should be able to run the old mappings without error)
4. Import the good backup over the old mapping, (use merge option during import)
Your mapping should run now.

Create installer and running: MsiError 87: Unable to format error record.

Ever since I have installed the Labview 2011 beta I am in trouble when creating installers that include the NI runtime.
Whether it is Labview 2010 or 2011, when I have created the installer and run it, I -and everybody else- gets the warning:
MsiError 87: <Unable to format error record.>
And the installer qwill quit.
When I exclude the runtime from the installer it works nicely. What can I do to fix it?

To Pick correct Confirmation Control Key Automatic in creating Info Records

Dear All
We have Import Vendors and Domestic Vendors.In Import PO Creation Except for one vendor, rest of all the Vendors should have the Confirmation Control key as Mandatory.For domestic PO the Confirmation Control key should be Optional.This Confirmation control key is flowing from the Info record which is maintained by the Core Team of the Business.Since this Confirmation control key is not maintaining correctly (say Optional for the Import Vendor Infor records instead of Mandatory) by that core team in the info record ,while doing Goods Receipts system is not accepting to post through IDOC's.
How can we control this while creating Info record, means for Import Vendor Info record, system must not allow Confirmation control key as Optional and for Domestic Vendor system must not allow Confirmation control key as Mandatory.
Note :for One import Vendor say XXXXXXX the Confirmation control key must be Optional and for all Import Vendors it Must be Mandatory.

If you are using seperate vendor account group for import vendors you can make it mandatory for that vendor master purchasing tab
it will flow to info and po from there for one optional vendor create one dummy key with no confirmation control and assign in the
optional vendor
