Unable to create item under a region

Hi All,
I wanted to create a item under one region in a seeded page. When I went to Personalize page, next to the region where I need to create the item, I don't see the "Create Item" button. But for the other regions I see that button. Any ideas what could be done to enable this?

Hi,
It could be a dynamic region itself or a region extended.
If its a dynamic region, you will have to do Controller extension to extend it.

I think in the first instance it has saved the item and when you tried second time, item ID is conflicting. So change the item id and check.
At the same time, check whether the item id-11 is linked to initiative after the first instance of save.

Unable to create entry under Product Specific Transportation Lane by BAPI Function Module

I am developing one RFC function module which will trigger BAPI_TRLSRVAPS_SAVEMULTI2 to create transportation lane (/n/SAPAPO/SCC_TL1) in APO. But I am facing one problem while creating a new entry under “Product Specific Transportation Lane”. But I am not able to pass ‘Group Selection’ radio button field in BAPI11201TRPRODLANE2 structure since I am not getting suitable field, but Product Group Type and Product Group value I am able to pass. Can anyone help me if you have any idea on this?

Thaks for those function modules. I tried with '/SAPAPO/TR_TRPRODM_PUT'. This deletes from table /SAPAPO/TRPRODM but not from /SAPAPO/TRM and so the means of transport still appears in the transaction. Do you have any idea why it behaves this way.

Why are you unable to create folders under a playlist?

I'd like the ability to have playlists within a playlist. For example. I like to workout and create specific playlists for different workouts. So right now I have to create them one by one and have them listed all in my playlist folder. But what I'd like to do is have the main "Workout" Playlist and have different smaller playlists underneath, just like how the artist/album folders are layed out. Is this possible and if not, where do I post to suggest it?

lakshmiWhat you need to do is to check directory logs in order to see what is the specific object class violation. If your AM instance was working before, something nasty should have happened in directory. Check logs and schema files.

Insufficient authorization to create namespace under SCV

Hi Experts,
I am unable to create namespaces under a specific SCV though my assigned 'User Role' has included my SCV and exclude rest of the SCVs.
We have followed all the steps mentioned in the link below.

Create Item with no Page Regions, but with P0 Region Issue

Hi,
Suppose you have a region on Page 0 called: P0_REGION. You then create a page, P100, with no region. If you try to create a Page Item you get the following message:
Unable to Create Page Item
You must create at least one region before you can create a page item.
Shouldn't we be allowed to create a page item and apply it to the P0 region? I didn't file this as a bug since I didn't know if this is what should happen.

Not exactly. I have a common region on Page 0 which contains buttons, jQuery Tabs etc. On each Page, P100 for example, I put items into that region for display purposes. I don't want to create these at P0 Items since they will be run for each page (or I'll have to put a lot of conditions on them).

Unable to create a tablespace under user scott despite of many privileges

Hi,
I use user scott to test a rdf database using oracle 11.2.0.2 contained in oracle developer days in my oracle linux enterprise guest system. However, I am unable to create a tablespace under scott. The error message says insufficient privilege. Actually, I granted all privilege in Roles, System Privileges, Object Privileges to scott in the OEM panel. I also granted resource, create session, create table, unlimited tablespace to scott in sqlplus as well. However, I am still unable to create the tablespace. The command I used for creating tablespace is below:
create tablespace rdf_tblspace
datafile '\home\oracle\app\oracle\oradata\rdf_tblspace.dat' size 14m reuse
autoextend on next 10m maxsize unlimited
segment space management auto;
Error at Command Line:1 Column:1
Error report:

Unable to create PO with multiple line items through LSMW-BAPI method

Hi All,
I have a requirement of creating PO through LSMW. I can't use LSMW standard batch input program since there are some fileds not available and also it has many limitations. I'm using LSMW-BAPI method ( Business object BUS2012) which create IDOC and uses BAPI_PO_CREATE1 to ultimately post the PO in the system. I am trying to create PO from a single file which contains both Header and Item data.
Now my problem is that everytime PO is being created with Single line item only. Everytime I am giving multiple item data in the source file LSMW is preparing multiple IDOCs for multiple line items. As per my understanding this is happenng since header and item is in the same hierarchy level of IDOC type PORDCR102 and the control record is inserted for every line item in the source file.
It seems that through LSMW-BAPI it is not possible to create PO with multiple line items. Can anybody provide some input regarding this? Thanks in advance.

Solved by myself.
Earlier the problem was that LSMW was not being able to recognize items under same header. It was creating new IDOCs every time it gets a new item. To enable this we need to create two structure HEADERDATA and ITEMDATA. Two additional identifier fields with identifier value 'H' and 'I' should be added in these two structures respectively. Then we need one sequential file with the identifiers field followed by the header and Item data. Example:
H~header data
I~item data
I~item data
This would help the standard program to understand what are the items under same header and ultimately create PO with multiple line items.

How to create "n" number of items in a region?

I have a requirement as given below:
i) I have a table like:
Col1 Col2
1 ABC
1 XYZ
1 PQR
2 AA
2 BB
ii) Now what I need to do that item - Check Box need to be created on a region of page based on Col2.
In this case, Check Boxes should be created as below when Col1 is "1":
ABC
XYZ
PQR

I have a requirement where I have to create multiple line items under 1 intransit order. Can somebody suggest me how to perform this using a BAPI in APO ??

Firstl you should upload the Line items for a particular sales Order in an Internal table
and then pass that internal table to your BAPI during your coding corresponding to a particu;lar sales order

Unable to create a page under particular page/node

Hi,
I have deployed some contents from some other CQ server to my local. I am not able to create pages under lot of page/ nodes though I have all permission(admin).
The options for creating a new page are read-only and when i open that page , the page properties are read-only as we see when the page is locked.
Is there any problem in package creation which i deployed on my local?
Is the property jcr:isCheckedOut has any relevance here though this value is set to true?

The state of a page can be very tenacious and sometimes lingers on despite clearing cache. One thing I do to confirm the new version is not seen because of caching is to open a new incognito window within Chrome. The incognito window does not use any of the state information that already exists in the browser and is a more true reflection of the current state of your content. Be sure to close all of the incognito windows when done. If you have one open somewhere already this trick does not work.
