Unable to Delete Pending Mail from Queue

I have a large number of emails in the APEX_MAIL_QUEUE that are actually getting sent, but are not being cleared out of the mail queue. So they keep getting retried, which sends them out multiple times. Is there a way to manually delete these from the queue?
I am using APEX 4.2.0.00.27.

The solution is to use
PUSH_QUEUE Procedure
Oracle Application Express stores unsent email messages in a table named APEX_MAIL_QUEUE. You can manually deliver mail messages stored in this queue to the specified SMTP gateway by invoking the APEX_MAIL.PUSH_QUEUE procedure.
Oracle Application Express logs successfully submitted message in the table APEX_MAIL_LOG with the timestamp reflecting your server's local time.Keep in mind, the most efficient approach to sending email is to create a background job (using a DBMS_JOB package) to periodically send all mail messages stored in the active mail queue.

I am unable to delete an email from my Gmail (IMAP) account within Mail on my MacBook. I get an error message that says there are no matches with the email. Thanks for the suggestions. I did not find the message on my Gmail Internet account. I went into Mail Preferences, and used the Advanced tab under my Gmail account to uncheck "Enable this account". The account folders disappeared. When I restarted Mail and enabled Gmail again, the email was initially gone, but a few minutes later, reappeared. I don't know anything else left to do except delete the account and recreate it If you think of anything else, please let me know.

I am unable to send e-mails from my Outlook

Everything was working ok, for ages. Suddenly I am unable o send e-mails from my Outlook.
"The message I get is: 'Unable to send the message. Please verify the e-mail Address in your account properties'.
When I 'Send a Test Message' from Outlook, Tools, Accounts. All actions are completed besides sending a test message when I also get the instruction.

I dont know why you are not able to send the e-mails.
I think you should check the email account properties. Check the data of you POP3 and SMTP server.
Im not a outlook expert but this options should be found somewhere in the email account properties.
The last possibility would be deleting of the email account under outlook and then a new creation of the new account.

First go to mail preferences>accounts>mailbox behavior and under trash click "move deleted messages to the trash mailbox, the delete them from there.
Also got to your Yahoo mail and check your settings there.

i realised i have this 200mb of messages this morning & tried deleting my messages but it started to hang half way and my phone gets very hot. thn i do pressed my lock & home button to reset the phone, thn it cool atfer awhile but i got all my messges back lol..

E72- Unable to send e-mail from work mailbox

I am unable to send e-mails from my work e-mail through my E72 although it receives perfectly. I have been in contact with Nokia via e-mail for the last 2 weeks and they have sent several suggestions to solve the issue but nothing is working. I have set-up my work e-mail on my husbands Blackberry with the same settings and can receive and send perfectly. From that I conclude there is no issue with the settings I have or my work e-mail but with
Nokia!! The latest 'help' I have received was to download a patch but I have no idea how to do this and get it onto my phone. So far Nokia have not replied to me.

If you're using a much older firmware, updating the phone would be a good idea. Find the Software Updates section of nokia.com and type your phone model. If you can't do an over-the-air update, download and install either the OVI Suite or the standalone Software Updater. This may hard reset the phone, so back up anything important with OVI Suite first.
Ignoring firmware for now, IMAP and URL's are like apples and oranges. If you work for a small company, the server may always be called " mail.mycompany.com", but IMAP will never use an HTTP or HTTPS prefix. URL's are typically associated with Microsoft Exchange servers. Within the email program, check Options -> Settings -> Mailbox settings -> Mailbox settings -> Advanced mailbox settings. Are "Outgoing email settings" set to something like
User authentication: Same as for incoming
Outgoing mail server: <compare to the setting for the Incoming server name; in a small company this will likely be the same>
Since you're getting far enough for the mail sever to reject your connection, the other settings should be fine as-is.
It does look like an authentication issue, so I'd say you're either hitting the wrong server or there's a bad username or password in there somewhere. If the Blackberry works with an IMAP connection, then you should be using the same server name(s), and user/password.
If all else fails, you can always try removing and readding the mailbox completely. Choose Menu -> Applications -> Email -> Settings -> <highlight your work account> -> Options -> Remove mailbox. And then set it up from scratch. I hope that helps a little!

Welcome to the Apple community.
The apps are not actually in your iCloud storage, they are links to the apps in the App Store. What you are seeing is your purchase history and as such cannot be deleted.
You can however hide your purchases, which you can do from the QuickLinks > Purchased option from the main page in the iTunes Store on your computer.

actually better to reset your phone and reinstall the latest firmware again after that restore your back up it should be ok

Why am I unable to send e mails from my iPhone, and get message rejected by server and message put in outbox. I have tried changing server ports but to no avail. I am not very technically minded so any suggestions in laymans terms please. This is a big problem as I work away frequently and need to answer e mails. How can I make MFE delete the mails from the serve...

guys,I am using mfe on my E63 with mail2web free account.I configured gmail to retrieve my hotmail mails then I configured gmail to forward my mails to my mail2web account.I did that so I dont have to have more than one mailbox on my phone and to be able to check my all accounts from one account which is mail2web via mfe.but my problim is when I delete an email via mfe from my phone its not been deleted from mail2web servers.I mean when I login on pc I see all the mails that I have been deleted.can I make the phone to also delete the mails from the server? thanx

This is how IMAP works, if you delete from one device it will also be deleted in the other devices.
iCloud do not backup e-mails.

Mail – cannot delete e-mails from draft box!

I have had this problem for a while, and cannot find the solution anywhere. I hope someone knows.
"Mail" doesn't let me delete e-mails from the draft box! It looks like I delete them, and they disappear, but next time I check they are there again. The only way to get rid of "a draft e-mail" is to actually finish it and then "send" it. But, of course, many e-mails are better off in the trash bin.
It has been like this for some time now, so restarting Mail and/or the computer is apparently not the solution.
Please help out, my draft box has become huge!

If your Yahoo account is set up as a POP account, you can set the option "Remove copy from server after retrieving a message" in the Advanced settings of Mail.

Hi--Is there any way to turn up the volume of the email alert on my earthlink acct, the account came with the MB PRo.
Also, is there any way to stop the deletion of mail from mailboxes I've created. You can stop deletion from the Inbox or whatever, but I lost important mail I'd put them in a new mailbox and poof they went, without warning, no advisory, ****.

Not certain, but this can fix myriad Mail problems...
Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), it will try to repair your Disk Directory while the spinning radian is happening, so let it go, run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, then move these folder & file to the Desktop.
Move this Folder to the Desktop...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Caches/Mail/
Move this file to the Desktop...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail/Envelope Index
Reboot.
If that doesn't do it and you can afford to redo all your Rules, try these & reboot...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail/MessageRules.plist
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail/MessageRules.plist.backup
