Unable to deploy a prcoess through bpel console
Hi ,
I log in to the em console as oc4j admin and do the following steps
Log In as oc4jadmin
Click on link oc4j_soa
Go to to Application tab
Go to Deploy
This gives page not found in IE. When I try the same in Mozilla, it gives the following error
" Servlet error: An exception occurred. The current application deployment descriptors do not allow for including it in this response. Please consult the application log for details. "
Any help will be highly appreciated.
Best regards,
brinda
Did this happen after an upgrade to 10.1.3.3 or 10.1.3.4 ?
Can you look in j2ee/oc4j_soa/applications/orabpel/META-INF/orion-application.xml
and tell me what you have in section " <imported-shared-libraries> " ?
Regards,
Mihai

10.1.3.5 - Unable to view process trace in BPEL Console
Hi,
We recently upgraded to the 10.1.3.5 production version. After the upgrade I noticed that BPEL Processes flow does not render for processes which have more than 200 activities to render (this is an approximate number, am not sure what is the threshold when it begins to error out). The renderer fails with following message:
failed to load resource: xmlGetAuditTrail.jsp?referenceId=bpel%3A//localhost/AP_V01_01/AP_ECOE%7E1.15/431669&id3j0son2=1
Before this on 10.1.3.1 it took about 3-4 minutes for some of the larger BPEL processes to render. Since I work on remote servers via vpn connection I have high latency to server (avg of 400ms). If I open a bpel process with small instance trace it works just fine. Only when opening processes with large process trace, I get this error. I've tried this with both IE and Firefox and get the same behavior.
I suspect this has to do with smaller timeout for the bpel process renderer. Is there a setting that can be tweaked to make this work or I should open a SR?
regards,
MrityunjayAnd I face the same issue in version 11.1.1.3, installed on weblogic server 10.1.3. How do I overcome in this case.
What is the path and file name to increase rInfo.timeout (or similar property) parameter in weblogic. -

BPEL processes not available on BPEL console when deployed from JDeveloper
Installation: SOA Suite 10.1.3.4 (Upgraded through patch) (Standalone OC4J)
When I deploy the BPEL processes through JDeveloper, they do not show up in the BPEL console. JDeveloper does not display any error message but in fact displays successful deploy. I am able to manually deploy processes from the BPEL console itself or by dropping in the BPEL suitcase in the deploy directory.
I noticed this issue when I tried installing AIA foundation pack 2.4. The installation showed the message below -
Failed to read wsdl at "http://AMVAIDYA-US:8888/orabpel/default/AIAErrorTaskAdministrationProcess/AIAErrorTaskAdministrationProcess?wsdl", because "Failed to read WSDL from http://AMVAIDYA-US:8888/orabpel/default/AIAErrorTaskAdministrationProcess/AIAErrorTaskAdministrationProcess?wsdl:WSDL not found".
Make sure wsdl is valid. You may need to start the OraBPEL server, or make sure the related bpel process is deployed correctly.
[Potential fix]: If your site has a proxy server, then you may need to configure your BPEL Server, designer and browser with your proxy server configuration settings (see tech note on http://otn.oracle.com/bpel for instructions).
I noticed that issue is independent of AIA since I cannot deploy any BPEL process through JDeveloper (or even through using the ant deploy in JDev)
Please help!
Thanks
AmolI did try the verbose=true option but there are no errors there. The ant deploy task shows up as successful just like it shows from the right click -> Deploy to domain on the BPEL project. I created a sample async BPEL for this - it has just one assign activity with some dummy values for output. It builds fine. If I deploy the jar file created from this manually in the console it works. But it doesnt work from JDev or Ant. Is there anything I missed during the upgrade patch from 10.1.3.1 to 10.1.3.4? I did execute all the post and pre install tasks (including the orabpel, oraesb schema updates etc)
FYI, I can register an ESB from JDeveloper and it shows up in the ESB console. -

Deployed processes stopped showing up in BPEL console
Hello,
Our BPEL processes stopped picking up business events; BPEL console dashboard is empty. After, restarting oc4j_soa instance on secondary node, BPEL process picked up business events. After few minutes, BPEL process showed in console.
After one day, BPEL processes disappeared from console.
Following is the error message, I see in soa_err*.log on all nodes after the last successful pick up.

Also, EM console does not show any web services for ORABPEL application.
What do I need to do make the deployed process show up in BPEL console?
Regards,
SivaI ran into a BPEL_OC4J_SOAP_Provider error today and it was related to my proxy. The proxy on my local machine with JDeveloper would allow a WSDL with an unqualified name through. For instance, the machine kronos:7779 would validate, compile, and deploy from my machine. But looking up the WSDL on the server would produce the above described error. When I changed the name of the server to kronos.whatever.com:7779 it worked as expected on the server.

Error during deploy via BPEL Console
I've downloaded BPEL Production version on May 27th.
When I create a jar via 'bpelc' and I deploy via BPEL Console 'Deploy new process', I have this error every second in the system.out/system.err of BPEL:
<2005-05-28 13:32:55,958> <ERROR> <default.collaxa.cube.engine.deployment> <Cube
ProcessMonitorWork::run> Error fetching handle to domain manager
Moreover I don't see the new process in the dashboard. If I restart BPEL, the new process appear in the dashboard and no error in System.out/System.err
What can be?
ThanksCould you please mail me your project file at [email protected] ( zip it, rename to .zipr) and please do let me know the steps to replicate the same.

Unable to deploy BPEL with java embedding
Hi ,
I have created a simple BPEL Process with java embedding for over ruling the BPELinstance name in it .But I am unable to deploy as Jdeveloper is showing that jar files should be included in the classpath ,though I had included in the class path. Unable to deploy BPEL from JDeveloper 10g in Vista
Dear Experts,
When deploying bpel process from JDeveloper I am getting the following errors.
Note: I am using Vista. Both Application server & JDeveloper versions are
synchronized . My versions are Oracle Application Server SOA suite 10.1.3.1 &
JDeveloper 10.1.3.1. Both are deployed in Vista. Is there any special configuration
set up is neccessary with vista. Please suggest me.
Note: Also from my jdeveloper I can able to establish connection for both integration server & application server
successfully. But unable to deploy.
BUILD FAILED
A problem occurred while establishing a connection to the BPEL Server.
Please make sure the server is running on host "eway-pc", port "8888".
Thanks,
RajeshCan you post the full error statck, this error is very generic and can be misleading.
Are you able to deploy other processes.
There are some know issue with Vista, have a look at this metalink note. 444112.1

Unable to modify user password through OAM identity system console.
HI,
I am trying to reset the password of a user through OAM Identity console.
I had logged in through orcladmin(admin), and tried to update the password for users, as well as orcladmin also.
After clicking save, its giving me error "Modify User Entry Failed" and password is not updated in LDAP
Also note that I am able to modify any other attribute of that user like last name, title, firstname etc through identity console.
Its only user password attribute which is not geting updated.
I am user OVD, which is integrated with OID & AD for user store.
Also I tried to set "Access Attribute control" for modifying user password, but that didnt help.
Kinldy suggest if you have came across this kind of issue.
Regards,
Ankit.HI,
Thanks for the replies.
As my OVD is integrated with OID & AD both, I am picking up the users from OID for update.
Also the SSL is configured betveen OVD & AD, but still AD user password is also not successfull.
Niether of two is working.
I am not able to create a user through Identity System console, as I had not configured workfllow.
I believe for updating user attibute, workflow defination need not to be define.
Also As I had mentioned before, I am able to modify all the other attributes other than user password.
Also Schema is extended properly.
Thanks & Regards,

Unable to use BPEL instance search form in BPEL Console
Hi,
I have a few instances whose titles are as follows
2481046 : Log:FAILDLVRY:ABCD
2481047 : Log:FAILDLVRY:ABCD
2481048 : Log:DLVRD:ABCD
2481049 : Log:GOTACK:ABCD
I want to search for instances whose title contains FAILDLVRY.
In the search form that appears on the left side in Instances tab of BPEL console, I tried giving the following values for title field, but none works..
\*FAILDLVRY\*
%FAILDLVRY%
FAILDLVRY
What is the correct format to be able to search any instance that has title with FAILDLVRY?
I am on 10.1.3.4
Thanks,
AmitThere's no wild card search available on the BPEL console. You have to search for the whole of the title text excluding the instance ref ID.
The best thing to search in your case would be - +'Log:FAILDLVRY:ABCD'+ wherein am asssuming that +'ABCD'+ is some constant.

API for creating new User in Oracle E-Business Suite through BPEL
Hello,
I would like to use a BPEL process to create a new User in Oracle E-Business Suite. In the Integration Repository I was able to find an API called FND_USER_PKG/LOAD_ROW that creates/updates Application's User data. Is this the API I should be using? If so, I would like to better understand how to use this API.
I have created a simple BPEL process and added an Oracle Application Service, which uses this FND_USER_PKG/LOAD_ROW API. I set the following parameter before Invoking the Oracle Application Service: X_USER_NAME, X_ENCRYPTED_USER_PASSWORD and X_START_DATE. When I run the BPEL process I get the following error. I suspect that I am not passing all the required input parameters. Does anyone have any sample data I can use to get this API to load correctly? If I am using the wrong API, please let me know.
Please note, I have also posted this question to the SOA Suite and BPEL discussion forums...
Thank you kindly!
Christine

ORA-06512: at line 1Hello and thank you for your response. I am new to using APIs so please excuse my inexperience... I am not sure how to run the API outside of BPEL... Is that something you could easily walk me through?
I have made the following changes in BPEL based on your recommendation: 1) Added Oracle Application Service and used the API, LDAP_WRAPPER_CREATE_USER, found in the Oracle Application Module Browser* under: Applications Technology (ATG_PF)> User Management (UMX)> User (FND_USER)> PLSQL> User (FND_USER_PKG)> LDAP_WRAPPER_CREATE_USER
2) Set the following parameter prior to Invoking the Oracle App Service: X_USER_NAME, X_UNENCRYPTED_PASSWORD,X_START_DATE, X_END_DATE, X_DESCRIPTION, X_EMAIL_ADDRESS, X_FAX, X_EXPIRE_PWD.
3) Deploy and run BPEL through BPEL Control.
I get the following {color:#ff0000}error on the Invoke{color}. {color:#339966}Do you see any issues with the values I am passing in the input{color}? Any idea why I am getting this error? Is there anything that I need to have configured for the API to work correctly, other than adding an Oracle Application Service in the BPEL?
Thank you for your time,
Christine
