Hi, Unload to download any apps to my phone. Click buy/free. Then click Install. asks for my password which I input. Then goes back to Buy/Free.
Have updated my phone to latest iOS. Have tried Hard Reset. Can anyone please help. Thank you.

Try a couple of these things and see if you have any success.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
If that doesn't work - sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>iTunes & App Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>iTunes & App Store>Sign in and then try again.
You can try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your device settings again.... All of the settings in the settings app will have to be re-entered.
If all else fails, download the updates or the apps in iTunes on your computer and then sync the content to your iPad.

It did it with my old iPhone 4 in last month or so, and it I hoped it would go once I updated to new iPhone 5. The problem has transferred to new phone too.
I can't sign in to iTunes account on iPhone. It takes the password then resets to baseline. No error message comes up. On the base computer (pc) it will allow me to sign up and buy songs, apps etc. I can then sync the phone and put them on it. It just won't let me buy direct from the .
As there are no error messages I am at a loss what to do. I have updated the payment details on my account, and my husband has an iPhone 4 and has no such problems. We share the same wifi. I have tried with 3G as well as wifi, with no luck.
I am pretty much out of ideas, and have tried searching forums but there is so much overlap between queries that I can't find a similar problem from someone else, but I am sure it exists!
Can anyone please help me?

I figured it out!
I read a solution for something that sounded similar.
Anyone in similar position:
Open iTunes app on iPhone, and pick an option from bottom, such as music. Then scroll down to bottom of page and where your iTunes ID is, press on it, and pick sign out.
Then return to home screen, and double press home button and press and hold on first icon showing, until a minus symbol appears in the top left of icons present. Press on each minus symbol on each app in turn, until all app icons have disappeared. Then Restart the phone by pressing and hold the home button and the on/off/standby button at top of phone, until the apple symbol appears in centre of blank screen.
Swipe to turn phone fully on and open settings and scroll down to iTunes and apps option and tap that. Pick sign in and put in your apple ID, it will accept it and then return to home screen and open iTunes a you'll find it works fine
Simple really, but some like me won't think f this themselves!

Go to settings >> iTunes and app stores. Tap on the appleid and change it yours. If you had downloaded any apps using your friend's id then you will need his/her password to update those apps. But you should be able to download any new apps using your id once you've have the change in settings.

I assume that you meant that you reset the password three times. Did you receive any verification that the new password was accepted?

Anything Downloaded with a Particular Apple ID is tied to that Apple ID and Cannot be Merged or Transferred to a Different Apple ID

Apps are tied to the Apple ID that was used to purchase them and you will always need to use that ID and password in order to update them.
Saying that you do get to update them on your new details makes no sense at all.

Try deleting the yahoo email account, and then recreate the account so you are sure all the information is now correct. I have had email information get corrupted for unknown reasons and found just removing and recreating the account to resolve the issues most of the time.
Check the ports, incoming and outgoing, on your iDevices to be sure the same are used on the iMac.

I cannot connect to the iTunes store to download apps even though I know for a fact that I'm entering the correct password. What's up with that?

1. Connect your iphone,ipad or ipod with itunes through you pc.
2. Click Store --- View my account- log in
3. Update your bank details and all other personal details properly specially your bank card details should be match with your home adress. Dont worry untill purchasing anything you wont get charge its just registering your card details.
4.Scroll down and on Settings you can see "Reset all warnings for buying and download." Please press RESET.
And wait for this process to get done after that sync your iphone, ipad or ipod again through itunes and disconnect it from the pc.
NOW YOUR DEVICE WILL BE FREE FROM THIS ERROR MESSAGE.

Updated my iPhone with iOS 5 and now I don't seem able to download any apps. When I try to download Kindle app, I get a message that it requires iOS 3.2, HBO GO requires 4.2, Apple's iBooks requires 4.2 (even Apple's own apps don't work!). Anu ideas?

You're either going to have to enter another payment method or contact Apple Support to get this resolved.

Every time I tried to download any app from the App Store or music from iTunes, I received the message "Unable to Download Application ***** will be available for download when you log in to the iTunes Store on your computer" Anyone has any idea what I did wrong????

Well, I had the same problem and tried ZenBuddha's solution without any luck. But then right after, it just came upon me.
Try this and let me know if it works out for you. Once it says something like 'Unable to download blah blah, Done or Retry', just click done. A new unfinished updated app icon will show up, usually with a download bar status. Then, delete the old application that you wanted to update. Once you do this, just click on the new unfinished updated app icon and it will download just fine and you're good to go.

It will ask for mine then a few seconds later it will ask for hers . In my settings everything is signed in as me but i just don't get why it still ask for her apple id. I have logged out and reset all my settings and it still ask for her apple id. If i can figure out how do i get her password ?

Any apps that she downloaded onto the device are tied to her apple ID. They cannot be transferred to another account. To update those apps, you would either need her password, or you could delete the apps and download them using your own apple id.
