Unable to get BPEL composite with JMS Adapter running.

Hello All,
I have tried to build a BPEL Composite to use JMS Adapter, by following the link http://blogs.sun.com/malkit/entry/oracle_soa_suite_bpel_to
Steps in WebLogic console:
1. Created a new JMS Server JMSServer-0 (file persistent store) this is targeted to AdminServer
1. Created a new JMS Module SystemModule-0
3. Created a connection factory in this module JNDI jms/SendRecvConnectionFactory
4. Created a queue in this module JNDI jms/ReceiveQueue
5. Created a SubDeployment Subdeployment0 for these two components.
6. Created a new JMSAdapter connection pool JNDI eis/tst/TestJMSConn and set the ConnectionFactoryLocation property to jms/SendRecvConnectionFactory
Next, I created a simple Java client and tested the JMS Queue to work fine. This went well.
Next, used JDeveloper to create a BPEL Composite to use JMSAdapater, and followed the guidelines given in the above URL to create the JCA file.
While deploying this BPEL composite, I hit a warning in SOA diagnostic server:
JMSAdapter JMSSampleProj JmsDDEndpoint_onFailure: Unable to resolve 'jms.ReceiveQueue'
As a result of this warning, the BPEL Composite instances do not get created when I send a message from the test client.
Please find herewith the log details.
I am using JDeveloper Build JDEVADF_11.1.1.4.0_GENERIC_101227.1736.5923 and FMW 11g R1 PS3 RC11.
Any help here?

Hi,
Try targetting it to soa_server1 instead of admin server.

  • Composite with JMS adapter is down - still tries to read

    Hi,
I have a SOA composite with a JMS consumer. Even though I have shut down the composite, I still see that it's consuming message from the queues.
I would have expected the messages to just sit in the queue under 'pending messages'.
    This is SOA Suite 11.1.1.3
Any idea why this might be the case? I see the JCA adapter component trying to read the messages anyway even though the composite status is 'shutdown' in deployed composites..
    Thanks,

    Hi,
Try targetting it to soa_server1 instead of admin server.

  • Unable to get the composite instance for the invocation. This could be because instance has not yet been created or because the audit level for the SOA infra has been set to Off

I am on Oracle 11.1.1.7 BPM suite on W8 64 bit. I can't launch the flow trace and get the error "Unable to get the composite instance for the invocation. This could be because instance has not yet been created or because the audit level for the SOA infra has been set to Off".  I have set the audit level to development at the soa-infra>SOA Administration> Common Properties > Audit level set to development and Capture Composite Instance State is Checked.
    Can somebody advice.
    Thanks

Can you please confirm me the following steps...
Log in to the EM console, Expand soa-infra (soa_server1) , go to the partition where your composite is been deployed, Click on your composite, On the right, click on the dropdown Settings and choose Composite Audit Level. you can choose to set the Audit Level for this composite. If you choose Inherit, it will take the settings to what the server is being set to. Otherwise, we can override it by choosing Off, Production, or Development.
Make sure your setting for that composite is not Off, keep inherit or production or development.
    Thanks,
    N

I am unable to get a connection with my ipad with my wifi router.  Will I need to upgrade my router

    Some things to try first:
    1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
    2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
    3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
    4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
    5.  Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
        •    Launch Settings app
        •    Tap on Wi-Fi
        •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
        •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

With Activation Lock, your Apple ID and password are required before anyone can:
Turn off Find My iPhone on your device
Sign out of iCloud on your device
    Erase and reactivate your device
Important:    Make sure to remember your Apple ID and password, and that your password is unique and secure—someone else shouldn’t be able to guess it. For more information, see the Apple Support article Security and your Apple ID.
If you want to give away or sell your device, be sure to erase your content and settings (in Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings). When you erase your content, Find My iPhone and Activation Lock are also turned off.
If you no longer have the device, follow the instructions to remove a device you no longer have. For more information, see the Apple Support article What to do before selling or giving away your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
For more information about Activation Lock, see the Apple Support article Find My iPhone Activation Lock in iOS 7.

  • Esb parallel processing problems with jms adapter and bpel

    Hi,
I have esb project which dequeues from a jms adapter and then the esb router calls a bpel process. This bpel process takes about 10 seconds. The first step this bpel does is to return true ( to the client) to the esb router so the ESB thinks he is ready. This does not work.
Now if I use in the esb router asyn routing rule to the bpel ws then the esb dequeus all the messages from the queue. All the esb entries are green. But the esb starts one for one the bpel process and then updates the esb entry with a new start time ( very strange) .
If I use a sync routing rule then it dequeues and call the bpel process one for one.
How I can parallel proces the jms messages ,because I have 2 quad cores cpu's . Async routing rules looks like the solution.
How can the esb detects the bpel is still running even with the first action in bpel is to return true. I expected when the esb retrieves true from the bpel ws it ends the current esb entry and goes on with the next. So the total esb time takes a few seconds and not so long as the last the bpel proces finishes.
And why is he updating the starting time.
    Thanks Edwin

Here is something I would like to suggest:
Can you try ESB -- (sync) --> BPEL, where BPEL process itself is Async. In that case, esb will consume all the messages very fast and BPEL will get that message and put in Delivery Queue and reply back to ESB. Now BPEL will process them simultaniously based Receiver/Worker threads defined in your env.

  • Error with JMS adapter

We are using a JMS adapter with XML input files and we are getting the following error:
:#1.#00144F80C55600310000001A00001BC700DD9B18A4E85181#1288983973313#com.sap.engine.messaging.impl.core.queue.consumer.SendConsumer##com.sap.engine.messaging.impl.core.queue.consumer.SendConsumer.handleRetriesOnException(MessagingException, QueueMessage, MessageController)#J2EE_GUEST#223963##<applicationserver_hostname>_<SID>_623765##8bfba530dea111dfbf9b00144f80c556#MS Queue Worker [JMS_http://sap.com/xi/XI/SystemSend]##0#0#Error##Java###Transmitting the message to endpoint using connection failed, due to: .#3#JMS_http://sap.com/xi/XI/System#com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: Error transmitting the message over HTTP. Reason: java.io.IOException: Error writing to server#http://<hostname>:50000/sap/xi/engine?type=entry#
One that is interesting is that these errors are occurring on application servers only.  Could it be that the Integration Server URL is not fully qualified.  In the SLD it's just <hostname>, not <hostname>.test.com (as an example).
    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Dear George,
Concerning the issue, in the Integration Engine please try increasing the value of the parameter :
       - icm/HTTP/max_request_size_KB
from the default size of 100MB to e.g., 2GB.
Kindly go through the following link :
    for details.
Additionally, it is recommended to setup a large message queue,
    i.e.,
add an entry and appropriate value (e.g., 20480 KB) for the TUNING parameter : 'EO_MSG_SIZE_LIMIT'
    using
    TCODE
       sxmb_adm
        Integration Engine Configuration
Select Edit mode and Add the TUNING parameter
    I Hope this helps.
    Best Regards

  • XI 3.0: Preserve trailer spaces with JMS Adapter

    Hi everybody
Does anybody knows how it is possible to preserve the trailing spaces in a message coming from JMS adapter?
I have a fixed-length field that is filled with a left space trailer, but the space is removed by (i think) the adapter.
Does exists something similar to "whitespace=preserve" for the datatypes???
    Thanks in advance.

If somebody is interested, just add the
xml.<structname>.fieldContentFormatting = nothing to the module configuration params.
I derived this one from the configuration guide of the File Adapter

  • Problem with JMS Adapter after upgrade to 7.1

    Hi All,
After an upgrade the JMS adapter connecting IBM Websphere MQ gives the following error:
Error connecting due to missing class: com.ibm.mq.jms.MQQueueConnectionFactory. Ensure that all resources required are present in the JMS provider library: aii_af_jmsproviderlib.sda
Since we are now on PI 7.1, the directory the JMS adapter should be looking for the libraries should be com.sap.aii.adapter.lib.sda. Has anyone else come across this problem after an upgrade? Should we remove the old aii_af_jmsproviderlib.sda?
Edited by: Luqman on Oct 31, 2008 5:39 PM

does following JAR files in place in aii_af_jmsproviderlib.sda.
    ●      com.ibm.mq.jar
    ●      com.ibm.mqbind.jar
    ●      com.ibm.mqjms.jar
    ●      connector.jar (use the JAR file from the J2EE client directory)
    can u check n confirm.
i hopw u have followed the proper deployement process.

  • Unable to get XML payload with new JDBC interface

Hello - I have hit a wall in trying to use the new JDBC dequeue interface. I can get an Oracle connection and get a message with the following code:
    OracleConnection connection = (OracleConnection) getConnection();
    AQDequeueOptions deqopt = new AQDequeueOptions();
    AQMessage msg = null;
    deqopt.setWait(queueWaitTime);
    String queueName = "TEST_SCHEMA.TEST_QUEUE";
    msg = connection.dequeue(queueName, deqopt, "SYS.XMLTYPE");
But I have found no way to turn this into an XMLType (or even an xml string). In looking at it in the debugger I have found that the only variable set internally on the payload is the byte [] returned by getPayload(). However, I cannot figure out how to turn this into an XMLType. I checked the Oracle documentation and they only discuss sending / receiving RAW message types.
    Any help is greatly appreciated.

  • Issue with JMS adapter

    Hi All,
I am trying to produce a message into JMS queue from BPEL, for this purpose i have created a connection factory, Queue and connection pool inside console and everything is fine. When i am testing the bpel process, I am able to see that message is written into jms queue with the help of payload inside em. But, I am unable to view the same messages inside the queue that I has created, but the property 'Messages High' of the queue is showing the count of messages it received. I dont see any error in logs, Can I know what I am doing wrong here?
    Thanks,

    Hi,
If there's something consuming the messages you won't be able to see them...
Go to the weblogic console and pause your queue for consumption in the control tab, publish a message and you will be able to see it on Monitoring tab...
    Cheers,
    Vlad

  • Business Event not triggering the SOA BPEL Process with OA Adapter

    Hello Gurus,
I am working on Business event "oracle.apps.per.api.employee.create_employee" and the event is getting triggered when creating an employee from EBS.
The message has come till WF_BPEL_QTAB(I could seeit) and in "READY" status. We have a SOA BPEL Process that is subscribed to the event "oracle.apps.per.api.employee.create_employee" using OA Adapter.
The issue is that the SOA BPEL process is not getting triggered and it is not dequeing the message from WF_BPEL_Q.
Please let me know if I have missed any steps on SOA BPEL side.
Note: Agent Listener is up and running.
    Thanks,
    Sunil

Ofcourse, I subscribed to the business event using BPEL. Ideally the instances should be created and I should be able to receive the standard payload.
Yes the JNDIs are correct. We have other business events working in the same fashion and we are using same JNDI.

  • BPEL process with DB adapter and FTP adapter

    Hi ,
i need to read a table contents using DB Adpter after recieving the data i need to write a swich condition on column value of each record and dependin og the criteria i need to write the record in an appropriate file
can any one help me out by giving any similar reference BPEL process
    regards,
    Anasuya Vemuri.

    Hi,
Configure the DB Adapter as a service in your composite which does polling the table in the DB, there are many settings in polling, make your selection according to your business needs. Configure the FTP Adapter as a reference in the Composite. And use switch activity inside the BPEl if you want to check something like if else cases. And invoke the FTP Adapter and before that populate the invoke input variable values using assign activity copy operation. Make sure you create connection factories for both adapters and populate the important attributes for them in the SOA Admin Console.

  • BPEL process with FTP Adapter

    Hi,
can we write static and dynamic data to file using FTP Adapter.
    for example:
    the file should be:
    the ABC file
    the total no of records:?
    Records:
    abc gskd dlfgpe
    asd fkgd sdfsd

    Hi,
When you configure the FTP Adapter, you will be giving the location and also the name....
But at run time, you can still replace them with the values you want....
Go to the properties of invoke activity of FTP Adapter in BPEL....
Find the properties, jca.ftp.FileName and jca.ftp.Directory; you can assign these properties from variables or expressions; it's all how want to do..you can design your flow in BPEL...
And coming to the data contents; as yatan told, use the concat function in expression builder of copy operation in Assign activity and assign the same to the attribute of the FTP Adapter invoke input variable....
    Hope this helps...
    Thanks,
    N

  • The servers gets too slow with JMS Messages

    Hi all,
Look, Im usin JMS services, with MDB, and work good. Also i kepp a Queue to wronly messages (basiclly for comunications between R3 and Portal). Thats messages have seted a "Time to Live" equals to one day, so, they dissapair when this time are completed. But for some reasson, my server gets too slow and show exeptions of Time Out. Maybe the messages are not "killed" really, and consume memory from the server or some like that.
The think are, that im deleting manually the Queue from the Visual Administration, later than this, the process back to keep the execution time and gets faster.
If some know some or had this same trouble, please help me...
    Thanks in advance,
    Jorge.

I see. Thanks for your advice
I always had this setting on my previous devices (Sony Xperia X10 pro, Samsung Galaxy Slll) and thought it wouldn't do anything. It just got slow when it actually was updating.
Now I turned that setting off, the wifi worked quite long again (10min) but then it was gone. Unfortunately.
