Unable to get dynamic interaction from PDF form

Hello,
I am trying to hide a textfield when a certain radio button options selected but so far I am <b>only able</b> to get it to work in the preview window of Adobe Designer 7.0 in NWDS.
When I attempt to deploy the application, my interactive form will not be able to perform the same hide and unhide function. I have this piece of code added to my wdDoModify :

I also tried saving the PDF to my local machine but the hiding functionality just refuses to work. Do you know what I may have done wrongly ? Any help is greatly appreciate. Thnak you very much.

Has the <b>firstTime</b> flag been used in a right way in your code ? Aren't you creating an interactive form at the first go ? Then just reverse the condition to
if(firstTime)
But then, it depends on how have you written your application.

Getting Dynamic image in PDF ( form R/3 as URL )

Hi gurus ,
I am using a wd java application . In that i want to show employee pic in adobe form . I have RFC in place , that gives me URL (ex : http://retep.... ) containing employee pic Context is of type string
Now i have craeted a image field in PDF .when i directly binding context data to image dield , Image is not being displayed. i am not sure about scripting and how to bind that context to image field , so that based on the url it dynamically displayes employee pic.
Any suggestions are most welcome .

In RFC instead of giving the URL ,tell them to give the image as a bytestream.And convert that byte stream into gif or jpg image using the following code,,,,,

Unable to get the response from dynamic partnerlink

I used dynamic partnerlink, in this i am able to invoke the services dynamcially but i am unable to get the response from the services which i had invoked dynamically. In my dynamic partnerlink wsdl i had included callback binding and call back service in the wsdl you can see them below

Actually My partnerLink had two messageTypes one for Input message request and the other for the Output message request and for the input message i had used the operation as initiate also for the output messsage type operation as result.For both of them binding is defined.
With these am passing the values from myBPELl to the service which am nvoking dynamically but unable to capture the response the variables are local to myBPEL.

In interactive Adobe PDF forms only two events are give such as OnCheck and OnSubmit. Is it possible to use other events appart from check and submit.If so how to use it and where to code it.
Is Interactive pdf forms are ment for these two purposes only.

The other events you may need would be mostly for field level validations. The adobe framework allows one to write javascripts. Every UI element on the Adobe will have its own set of events. For eg say u want to fill a dropdown frm a RFC when an other UI in the form is clicked and you choose not to use the oncheck or submit action, here is the way:
Make the RFC a webservice, call the webservice using javascript in the onclick action of UI element 1. Similarly you can use other events to fill, validate and manipulate data. Finally once all that is done submit the data to SAP. Hope it helps. Thank you.

I already create the pdf form that contain digital signature field using ACROBAT XPRO...and now i would like to send data from pdf form to fdf file.I already manage to send data from other field except the digital signature.How to send the signature digital value to FDF file so that i can display it back to PDF file next time?Can anyone help me...i really need help right now...

Unable to get the media from the Endeca Experience manager version 11.0.0

Iam unable to get the media from the Endeca Experience Manager for my endeca app 'CRS'.
I have created the endeca app named 'CRS' using the reference app discover-data-catalog-integration and successfully initialized and indexed.Iam able to see the Indexed data in my endeca_jspref and the configurations in my Experience Manager.
I want to import the media from my experience manager(this is my actual requirement) and for this iam executing the get_media.bat cmd from my application's control folder,the cmd was executing successfully without any errors, but the media folder was not populating with any images that i can see in the Experience manager .Please do the needful to resolve this issue.

What media are you trying to import? There won't be any media returned with get_media unless you but media in to begin with using the set_media cmd. However, it's preferable to use the media MDEX rather than storing media in the ECR.

Siebel 8.0.0.12 Fix Pack; Unable to get the seed from binary file.

Hello Folks,
Can anyone throw some light into what action is required on my scenario.
I have applied Fix Pack Siebel 8.0.0.12 on top of 8.0.0.11 SBA. After it is appled, I am facing a documented issue within the Release Notes for the 8.0.0.12 Fix Pack
The issue is "UNABLE TO LAUNCH URL AFTER APPLYING SIEBEL 8.0.0.12". I tried the steps given with the MR document, however, I am still having this issue.
I am also not sure what is expected at the step of; Run the following command: seedgeneratorutil myseed.dat abcdef .
It's asking me for a value to enter for seed at command prompt. "Enter the seed":
what I should give here. As an assumption values,I gave SADMIN and tried to launch but still shows up the same error

Help with exporting data from pdf form

I have about 100 pdf forms that I created in adobe forms central and distributed as a pdf form (rather than on the web). I am trying to export the data into a spreadsheet but when I export it, the fields are all jumbled in the csv file, as in they are not in the same order. I need to export the data all together so I'm going to the forms menu and selecting "manage form data" and then selecting "merge data files into spreadsheet". I tried exporting a single file but that gave me something really weird.
Please help, I have a deadline next week to analyze this data and can't make sense of it once it is exported to a spreadsheet.

Would you please share your form with me and send me one of your pdf forms and some of the csv files?
You can share your form by doing the following:
1. Click on the “Share” icon on the bottom left corner.
2. Click on “Add Collaborator” on the popup menu.
3. Enter [email protected] under “People to share with”.
4. Set subject to "Export data from pdf form"
5. Click the “Share” button on the bottom right of the dialog.

Linking data from PDF form into Indesign CS6

Hello all,
I'll be working on a magazine which has a large section of day camps technical descriptions :
name, contact info, location, short introduction text, activities icons (they have to choose up to 5 icons from a total of 12)
Is it possible to link data from a fillable PDF into predetermined and prestyled text boxes in Indesign CS6?
Would it be necessary to export in an Excel sheet prior?
What would be the best trick in order for the icons to place themselves automatically, if possible?

When placing a PDF into InDesign, it's a flat piece of art for each page included. There's no way to manipulate form fields or work with links or anything like that.
The data from the form would have to be collected and converted into an Excel file for placing into InDesign. (Collecting data from PDF forms and converting the Excel format can be done in Acrobat Pro.)

Hi,
I guess, during installation, you have provided as 127.0.0.1. Do you have entry in host file like (127.0.0.1 localhost).
Try by giving host name or IP address for HttpServerAddress in configuration file.

Go to: https://supportprofile.apple.com/MySupportProfile.do
Log in if not already logged in.
Click on "Edit Products"
Click on the "X" to the right of the product.
Click "Unregister".
If that doesn't work, you're going to need to call AppleCare and have them remove your phone from the system.
