If its the only tab open there will be no x. You can tap on the 2 squares on the top left corner of the screen to brng up the thumbnail view, and then close the page either by tapping on the X, or swiping the thumbnail up and off the screen.
Otherwise, you can simply type the url for a new page in the url bar at the top, or type a search term directly there too to be found in Google. No need to close the page really.
Also, since I doubt you meant to post in the Bluetooth forum, as this is not related to it in any way, I'll request it be moved to the iPad forum.

You have to authorize a computer from that computer. You cannot authorize a computer from another computer.

If your requirement is up to the selection date you'd better use a parameter (which can only hold one value).
Then define a range in your program:

So, my first rental - I downloaded it overnight - then we go to watch it tonight and it proceeds to start loading again...saying it will be ready in 14 hours and 21 minutes!!! Am I doing something wrong here? If anyone has advice - I would greatly appreciate it. This is the first apple product that I am disappointed with

How to show 'No Records Found' and 'Employee Name Unknown' in oracle report

I'm using 6i and building a report to show employees who have incorrectly input their time. I have an input parameter so a user can select a specific employee by emp_id or can leave it empty to show all. That part works. I also have date parameters that are required. That works too. However I am having trouble displaying 'NO Records Found' if the date parameters have no late or rejected employee time records. I currently have it as a text field arranged behind the emp_name field which i filled white. It works...however i have a pretty good feeling there is a better way to do this. Also, I have some data that is null since i am using two tables. There are time stamps with no emp_name or emp_number. I still need to show these records but want them to show up as "Employee Name Unknown" that way the user doesnt get confused and thinks the emp_name in the row above also includes this row.

So, when the join between emp_time and master_all produces no rows, you still want one row of output, saying 'No Records Found'; is that right?
If so, you can outer-join the result set to dual, with some join condition that accepts anything.
Use CASE (or equivalents) to get special values (like 'No Record Found' or 'Employee name unknown') when certain columns are NULL.
For example:

The message 'No Records Found' is a string, so it has to go in a string column.
I put it in the "Name" column, just because I knew that "Name" was a string.
You can put in in any other column if you wish. If that column is not already a string, then use TO_CHAR to make it a string.
You could also have a column just for this message.

If not, post a little sample data (CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements, relevant columns only) for all tables, and also post the results you want from that data.

The first argument to NVL will never be NULL in that case; it will always contain at least a space, whether or not the other columns are NULL. You could say:

ALV GRID Report is not showing all records which is in internal table

have one doubt. please clarify me. ALV Report is working fine since long tiem. But suddenly this report is showing few records only for the given input.   Example:   it_main table have 50 records, but output is showing only 10 records only. (we have not made any modifications in this report).
temporarily i have given excel output file from it_main table. excel file is showing all records.
here it_main have all the records. but output is showing few records only. it is not showing any error. i have tested with REUSE_ALV_LIST_DISPLAY function also. but it also showing same results(few records only.)
please give me some idea.

Kludge to make less, vim et al. leave the screen uncluttered enjoy!

I have written a script which leaves the screen uncluttered when finishing less.
This script is written for bash in the "good old terminal", but works well with
iTerm too. I wrote this script because less is opposite of more as less is so
much more as more is so much less.
I hope you will use this script and reap the rewards of using less while reading
textfiles, gaining from less's features, avoiding the cluttering which may have
made you disliking using less. You can make a copy of the script and modify and wrap
the script around any other characterbased program which clutters your terminal screen.
The script works by beeing placed in your ~/bin which I assume is before
/usr/bin in your $PATH where the binary less resides. You must modify the paths
in the script if they are different from that. (both the binary less, the script,
and the kludge.scr)
The script installs an interrupthandler which are triggered by changing the
windowsize. The interupthandler figures out what it must do to preserve
your screen when you exit less, and just does so, except for four characters
to the extreme left on one line. (wich may well be part of your prompt).
The interrupthandler gets its work done, by calling a kludge which are
relatively referenced in the script from your homefolder, -presumes ~/bin
- YOU MUST EDIT THE SCRIPT OTHERWISE. The configuration is like it is because
that is what it takes to make the correct things happen in bash.
I think this could have been accomplished much easier using another shell,
but most people uses bash, especially newcomers, and they deserve to have
it as easy as possible, while reaping the productivity gains laying dormant
in the Unix core, so I hope you will share the script with you liberally,
if you think it is worth the time and the work it takes to "install" it.
I hope you will give this script a try, as to make less work comfortably for you,
I have included an environment variable with all settings I like in less, which
you may modify.
Less was the first program I had that made me think "wow" back in 1986, beeing used
to the "more" command, - which was, and is so much less than less. You can for instance
invoke BBedit with a file you are viewing in less by pressing "v" if you have BBedit
specified in the $EDITOR variable. You can pipe some text to the clipboard.
Or you can pipe some lines out of a document you are viewing in less and into
a file while viewing, you can load it with multiple files, and search them all,
a programemer can make less work with tagfiles; you can have less create a logfile
of what you read and, you can even scroll backwards. All in all less is a very handy
tool which I think everybody would gain from using,in opposite to more.
Especially when it leaves the screen uncluttered.
Great care have been taken in order to make this kludge work properly.

I have written a script which leaves the screen uncluttered when finishing less.
This script is written for bash in the "good old terminal", but works well with
iTerm too. I wrote this script because less is opposite of more as less is so
much more as more is so much less.
I hope you will use this script and reap the rewards of using less while reading
textfiles, gaining from less's features, avoiding the cluttering which may have
made you disliking using less. You can make a copy of the script and modify and wrap
the script around any other characterbased program which clutters your terminal screen.
The script works by beeing placed in your ~/bin which I assume is before
/usr/bin in your $PATH where the binary less resides. You must modify the paths
in the script if they are different from that. (both the binary less, the script,
and the kludge.scr)
The script installs an interrupthandler which are triggered by changing the
windowsize. The interupthandler figures out what it must do to preserve
your screen when you exit less, and just does so, except for four characters
to the extreme left on one line. (wich may well be part of your prompt).
The interrupthandler gets its work done, by calling a kludge which are
relatively referenced in the script from your homefolder, -presumes ~/bin
- YOU MUST EDIT THE SCRIPT OTHERWISE. The configuration is like it is because
that is what it takes to make the correct things happen in bash.
I think this could have been accomplished much easier using another shell,
but most people uses bash, especially newcomers, and they deserve to have
it as easy as possible, while reaping the productivity gains laying dormant
in the Unix core, so I hope you will share the script with you liberally,
if you think it is worth the time and the work it takes to "install" it.
I hope you will give this script a try, as to make less work comfortably for you,
I have included an environment variable with all settings I like in less, which
you may modify.
Less was the first program I had that made me think "wow" back in 1986, beeing used
to the "more" command, - which was, and is so much less than less. You can for instance
invoke BBedit with a file you are viewing in less by pressing "v" if you have BBedit
specified in the $EDITOR variable. You can pipe some text to the clipboard.
Or you can pipe some lines out of a document you are viewing in less and into
a file while viewing, you can load it with multiple files, and search them all,
a programemer can make less work with tagfiles; you can have less create a logfile
of what you read and, you can even scroll backwards. All in all less is a very handy
tool which I think everybody would gain from using,in opposite to more.
Especially when it leaves the screen uncluttered.
Great care have been taken in order to make this kludge work properly.

It sounds like you are unable to successfully boot your iPod Touch. I would recommend these steps specifically from the following article, named:
iOS: Not responding or does not turn on

If the device remains unresponsive or does not turn on (or power on), reset your device.
Let it charge for at least twenty minutes, then see if it starts normally.
If there is no image on the screen, press the Sleep/Wake button to attempt to wake the device.
If the screen displays a red battery icon, continue charging the device until the battery is fully charged. Learn more about charging iPhone and iPod touch, or iPad.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, or the if the screen remains black or shows a persistent Apple logo, try restoring with iTunes:
Connect the device to your computer and open iTunes.

If the device doesn't appear in iTunes, try to force the device into recovery mode, and then restore it.

Thanks to the-edmeister and cor-el, for speed of response. I had not inadvertently moved the Bookmarks-Toolbar : I was confronted with the situation right after Firefox 9 had installed and unfolded in front of me. At first, the toolbar area looked reassuringly familiar, but when I started normal work, I discovered the lack of tabs and the only reference I could see to TABS was a tiny button inviting me to group tabs (which was unhelpful to say the least, filling up the screen with tiny unreadable windows). Sure, there were tabs forming, but they were invisible, unless I used the group button. Eventually, I was brave enough to use "reset toolbars" and the tabs came back in the way I want them, but it was a traumatic 2-3 hours out of my life. I kept on "adding a new toolbar" to see if I could make use of it; I kept giving them names, but it is impossible to see where the new tool bar is! (the toolbars don't have a little bit to grab at one end). In my opinion, Firefox should not have allowed the Tab Bar and the Bookmarks Toolbar to become caught up with each other - they have completely different functions. I don't think I would like to play around with "Make a new profile"! I was so desperate that I have already downloaded version 3.6 again, ready to install, for if I was unable to resolve the version 9 problems above.

How to leave full-screen view in Acrobat LE on HTC Touch Diamond?

I have entered full-screen mode in Adobe Acrobat LE on my HTC Touch Diamond, but I cannot leave full-screen mode. There is nowhere on the screen that gives me a button to leave full-screen mode?!
I have tried using the buttons below the touch-screen but I have found nothing that works.
How do I leave full-screen mode??

Well I have tried almost everything with the stylus: Zoom operations (rotations), tapping the screen, pressing and holding, double tapping... nothing allows me to exit fullscreen nor get any on-screen menus to appear!
I must admit that I am very new to the HTC Touch Diamond so maybe I am being stupid, but I really can't find any way of getting any menus or anything else to show up once I have entered full-screen viewing. My only option is to exit Acrobat by pressing the back button below the touch screen, and then I of course leave Acrobat completely.
Please tell me how exactly I must use the stylus to exit fullscreen?

Please try this sequence...note that, throughout the entire 4h15m process, your BB must remain directly connected to a known-good wall charger (not PC USB, not a cradle):
With the battery inside, connect your BB to the wall charger
Leave it alone for 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
Remove the battery
Wait 15 minutes
Insert the battery
Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
This has been known to "kick start" some BBs.
It is also possible that your battery or BB has experienced a problem...to test, this sequence is needed:
Obtain an known good and already fully charged additional battery...use it in your BB and see what happens
Obtain access to a known good and identical BB...use your battery in it and see what happens
The results of this will indicate if it's your BB or your battery that has the problem. Note carefully please that "new" and "know good" are not necessarily the same things. While rare, a "new" battery certainly could be defective. Rather, the simplest (and least costly, btw) method to conduct this test is to find someone with an identical BB who has no issues...trade batteries and see what happens.

ALV Leave to screen problem

Dear Friends,
i have interactive ALV so their flow as follows
1. When i execute the program Load ALV (i named it ALV1)
2. When double click - another ALV displayed (I named it as ALV2)
3. In the ALV2, there is a button to add data (suppose there are two records)
4. When click on Add button, Screen is appear to enter data and also there is a Save button
5. When click on the save button, data saved to Table and ALV2 refreshed (now there are three records)
6. When I click on the Back button (tools) its come to ALV2 previous position (ALV2 with two records)
my problem is, when click on the BACK button it must comes to ALV1
not to ALV2 previous position
how can i code this in the back button.
I already used LEAVE TO SCREEN 0

Connect the iPod to its syncing computer and restore the iPod vi iTunes. If iTunes asks for a passcode and you can't enter it, place the iPod in recovery mode and then restore the iPod. For recovery mode see:
