i want to show all records till selected date , selection screen consist of date also and my select statement is given below so any body pls tell me what changes i hav to make so that all records till particular date should b shwn

Hi Santosh,
If your requirement is up to the selection date you'd better use a parameter (which can only hold one value).
Then define a range in your program:
DATA:
zlt_budat_range TYPE RANGE OF budat,
zls_budat_range LIKE LINE OF zlt_budat_range.
zls_budat_range-sign = 'I'.
zls_budat_range-option = 'LE'.
zls_budat_range-low = pa_budat.
APPEND zls_budat_range TO zlt_budat_range.
.....AND budat IN zlt_budat_range.

have one doubt. please clarify me. ALV Report is working fine since long tiem. But suddenly this report is showing few records only for the given input.   Example:   it_main table have 50 records, but output is showing only 10 records only. (we have not made any modifications in this report).
temporarily i have given excel output file from it_main table. excel file is showing all records.
here it_main have all the records. but output is showing few records only. it is not showing any error. i have tested with REUSE_ALV_LIST_DISPLAY function also. but it also showing same results(few records only.)

How to show all records by default on search result page?

I am trying to make a search page that would execute the search in the database based on one or more field constraints.
(Using MySQL,PHP)
I have 2 columns in the database "vm_ip" (primary key) <IP address>, "Operating_System" <Any, Windows, Solaris, AIX>
need to search vm_ip based on other two fields.
PROBLEM: Need to show all the record when I select "Any" in the Operating_System drop down menu.

But instead the value being passed in the Query is "0". and no records are shown.
What can I do to show all records?
As probably obvious I am new to php/MySQL so all the help is most welcomed .

Thanks for the prompt reply but this does not solve my problem.
First thing I appologise for giving you incorrect info. Actually I have many more constraints on the search apart from OS.
Didn't think I would get single constraint specific ans.
Here is what all i tried and problems I faced:
1. I cannot use seperate queries cause I have around 7-8 other constraints on the search.
2. I cannot play around with the Record set code. For some reason even if I mess with it a little bit Dreamweaver stops recognising the recordset. for eg i tried the below code:

here on passing NULL value for "Any" GetSQLValueString($varOS_virtual, "int") functions returns NULL and though the Default value of
varOS is set to 'Operating_System" query takes NULL value only which when executed shows no records.
My problem majorly revolves around how to put something like "WHERE Operating_System= Operating_System" OR "WHERE Operating_System= TRUE" in the query, when passed through variable they are sent as Strings or NULL.
Thats why WHERE 1=1 also doesnt work, because it has "WHERE Operating_System= NULL" in AND.
Logically when NULL is passed default value of variable should comeinto picture, but tha isnt happening.

Can i get multiple records if selection screen is 900 using PROVIDE

Iam using following statement for fetching MULTIPLE records from infotype 0008. In Attributes if i declare LDB as pnp and selection screen as 900, then iam not getting any records.
Instead of th selection screen 900 is empty. then records will getting properly.
How can i get multiple records if selection screen is 900?

The iTunes application should be installed on the system drive. You may need to repair iTunes to fix that error regarding a missing .exe.
To organize your library properly see Make a split library portable.
If you don't have a working version of the library that can be transformed into a portable shape I have tools and techniques that can repair the broken links.

Incomplete Data on report (report does not show all records from the table)

Hello,
I have problem with CR XI, I'm running the same report on the same data with simple select all records from the table (no sorting, no grouping, no filters)
Sometimes report shows me all records sometimes not. Mostly not all records on the report. When report incomplete sometimes it shows different number of records.
I'm using CR XI runtime on Windows Server 2003

Sorry Alexander. I missed the last line where you clearly say it is runtime.
A few more questions:
- Which CR SDK are you using? The Report Designer Component or the CR assemblies for .NET?
- What is the exact version of CR you are using (from help | about)
- What CR Service Pack are you on?
And a troubleshooting suggestion:
Since this works on some machines, it will be a good idea to compare all the runtime (both CR and non CR) being loaded on a working and non working machines.

Issue regarding LSMW, not showing all records after Read Data

Dear Experts,
Plz help.. I need to configure a LSMW for ROH material.. so I made recording, n then create a structure.. accordingly.
the problem is.. at the time of reading data from .txt file.at the step of Display Read Data it showing only 50 records, rest are not displaying.. but not showing any error.. so my question to our expert that is their any limitations for reading data... if their.. then how could it be elasticated...

the read step has a selection screen where you can define from which to which record you want read.
make sure this selection is empty for a test.
Further check if your source file has more than 50 records.
then make sure that you really read this source file and not any other version (check path and file name in step 7 of LSMW)

Urgent: Not all records extracted to ODS

Hi,
Not all of the records I am trying to load get updated to ODS. Ex:
Doc#     Item#     Created On     Debit/Credit
1000     1     02012007     540
1000     2     02012007     540
1000     1     02022007     -540
1000     2     02022007     -540
These 4 records appear as 2 records in ODS as:
1000     1     02022007     -540
1000     2     02022007     -540
When I do simulate update it shows me 4 records till communication structure. But from communication structure to ODS it they come in only as 2 records. There is no routine in update rules it is just direct one to one mapping. I am having this problem for records with same line item # within a document. Please advice how to solve this issue

I personally don't think there would be a requirement to load two line items the way you mention; if that is the case there should generally be some record number also coming in with the data. The data example you gave doesn't look right/complete to me somehow.
Anyway, you can get the record no in many ways. You can create a number range object in the system (check Txn SNUM), and you can then use standard functions in your code to get the next no (I think you can check functions NUMBER_RANGE* in se37 to get an appropriate one). Or you can always read the MAX() no stored in the ODS in this field and start from there in your routine (likely not as robust as the first option).

Filtering of the data based upon the selection screen data using ldb

I am using ldb pnpce, for my report ,and i created my own report category with selection paramaters
action type and payroll area
now the problem is when i am giving the action type as Z0 ,the data to be extracted is not getting filtered
based upon the action type ,the data consists the records having different action types other than Z0
Please give me some solution for this

and import the same in the smartform.

The following steps can be repeated as many times as are required to ensure that all selection-screen values can be used. The program, RFITEMGL, is doing all of the authorization using the code of the logical database that is part of the program.
I added the following logic in my program, which works fine, except when the entered values fail the authority check, I can't get off of screen 1000 and get to the sub-screen to exclude the unauthorized values unless I first change the range on screen 1000.
For an example:
If I enter range '100 ' through '900 ', and there is an unauthorized company, '200' in that range, I can't add '200' as an excluded value without first changing the range to '100 ' to ' 199 ' on screen 1000.
Any thoughts on a solution? I tried looking at the logical database code without much success.

Yes this is normal way as you entered wrong value in s_bukrs unless and until you change that you cannot proceed further.
instead of at selection-screen on s_bukrs.
use at selection-screen.
if s_bukrs is not initial.
do processing .,
and display info message'
endif.
or ., instead of error message use dispaly like 'E'
like.,
at selection-screen on s_bukrs.
check authority.,
MESSAGE 'You are not Authorized to use the Company Code' type 'S' display like 'E'.

Witholding tax report show "no record were selected". tcode S_P00_97000134

Hello everyone.
i need some help.
i found some document that have witholding tax in document such as 5105620781 year 2011.
in transaction code S_P00_97000134 that use for print witholding tax report and witholding tax certificate.
when i run this transaction code for print witholding tax certificate or witholing tax report.
system show "no recored were selected"
i attached excel file to show you what document that cannot print witholding tax, and what document that can print witholding tax.(there are 2 tab in excel )
please clarify why some document cannot print witholding tax certificate.

Dear all,
first of all the report runs if You posted some documents with the WIthholding tax.
When You run the report You will insert the Output group.
Please be informed that the report will extract the documents on the base of the following customizing:
IMG --> Financial Accounting --> Financial Accounting Global Settings --> Extended Withholding Tax -->Reporting -->Generic Withholding Tax Reporting --> Define Output Groups
choose Your output group double click -->
You can choose among:
Cleared vendor invoices, Credit memos, open Down payments
all vendor documents
all customer documents
and so on.....
Please check which documents with the Withholding tax data You need to extract.
save and run again the generic report.
Now It should work fine.

Urgent: Custom Text in Variable Selection Screen

Hi Experts,
I know that it is not recommended by SAP to customise the variable screen, I am sorry but that is ridiculous coz there are no alternatives provided for even simple editing. I''ve searched every where in SDN to find a way to simply add a custom text element in this bizarre screen.
I need to do that because I have to group variables that look similar in a container and add some instructions to users on how to base their selections.
I am also not sure what exactly the web item whcih is behind this selection screen or perhaps if it is another web template that is being invoked by the standard template ""0analysis_pattern"" and if any what is that web item invoking it.
If you have any clues of how i can achieve this please adivce as soon as you possibly can.
Points will be assigned.

To customize your variable screen you should neeed developer access key..you can see whether you have got or not in table Devaccess..
Personalisation of variables is for saving all inputs for future use. ( In your case save without any pre determined values )

The personalization option can be activated in the system (using the program RS_PERS_ACTIVATE or the IMG guide (BW Customizing Implementation Guide -> Business Information Warehouse -> Reporting-Relevant Settings -> General Reporting Settings -> Activate personalization in the BEx).
You can manage your personalization variable through BEX Analyzer "Change Variable Values" menu option "Business Explorer --> change query --> change variable values.

For creating the Web Template..
Go the web application designer, create a new web template in the template
in the left hand side you will find web items , from there drag and drop table , navigation block for your navigation attributes and in the table you have to assign the data provider
for that first you have to do

After embedding the query in the workbook, right click -> choose 'properties' in the context menu -> click the 'interaction' tab -> check the 'save and reuse variable values' option.
After doing this, once the workbook or query is refreshed, the already entered variable values are taken.

Freight Carrier Form not showing all records

The Freight Carrier form is not showing all of the data that shows in the table
(ORG_FREIGHT). For the Organization that I am in (#23) the table shows 108 records but the form only shows
35 records. Why? How can I make the form see all of the records in the tables? I am in the middle of converting 11.0.3 to
11i.
