Unable to logiin on BTFon Homepage

When attempting to login into the above homepage ( url http://www.btfon.com/ )
Question A:- is my user name and password to login to above the same as for logging into BT Yahoo Homepage ?
ie BT Yahoo email address followed by password
Question B:- If so why does the page not show an underscore when I type it in as part of my email address and
not give me access?

Its the same as your primary e-mail account ending in @btinternet.com.
I can see an underscore "_" when I type in an e-mail address with on in. Its possible that your display settings are hiding it.
It can sometimes happen if your screen resolution does not match the native resolution of your display, especially on LCD screens.

Unable to display Tomcat default homepage

When i am not connected to internet, i get the default Apache Tomcat homepage after successfully starting the Tomcat server. However, once i get my internet connections enabled, I am unable to get the default Apache Tomcat home page.
I tried to change the port 8080 in server.xml just incase it was being used by some other application when i get connected to net. But it doesn't solve my problem. Can anyone please help me. I am new at java and tomcat and hence would request a detailed solution to the problem.

Unable to connect to BTFon/Openzone

As the title implies,for the last few days I've been unable to log on using an Ipod touch. I seem to be getting invalid user name or password when I know both are correct. Any suggestions?

No matter what I do I am unable to set my Safari homepage.

When I open Safari, it will not go to my homepage. It goes to a blank even though I have set my homepage in my Preferences.

These are two possible approaches that will normally work to move an existing library to a new computer.
Method 1
Backup the library with this User Tip.
Deauthorize the old computer if you no longer want to access protected content on it.
Restore the backup to your new computer using the same tool used to back it up.
Keep your backup up-to-date in future.
Method 2
Connect the two computers to the same network. Share your <User's Music> folder from the old computer and copy the entire iTunes library folder into the <User's Music> folder on the new one. Again, deauthorize the old computer if no longer required.
Both methods should give the new computer a working clone of the library that was on the old one. As far as iTunes is concerned this is still the "home" library for your devices so you shouldn't have any issues with iTunes wanting to erase and reload.
I'd recommend method 1 since it establishes an ongoing backup for your library.
Note if you have iOS devices and haven't moved your contacts and calendar items across then you should create one dummy entry of each in your new profile and iTunes should merge the existing data from the device.
If your media folder has been split out from the main iTunes folder you may need to do some preparatory work to make it easier to move. See make a split library portable.
Should you be in the unfortunate position where you are no longer able to access your original library or a backup then then seeRecover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device for advice on how to set up your devices with a new library with the maximum preservation of data.

Firefox will not run since it says I will have to close it first. Further I am unable to set my homepage settings to the required one by me.

My homepage switched to a website I do not wish. I am unable to get my desired homepage back by using the menu. Later on Mozilla won't even run. he message I get that it should be closed first. Whilst the program is closed.

Unable to start the OracleXETNSListener

Hi All,
I have installed Oracle XE11G version on my system sucessfully, but unable to open the database homepage since the OracleXETNSListener is not able to start.
When trying to the OracleXSTNSListener it is giving the below specified message.
The OracleTNSListener service on Local Computer started and then+
stopped. Some Services stop automatically if they are not in use+
by other services or programs.+
Can anybody can tell me what can be soultion for this

Iweb quits when I try to edit my homepage

I was working on a different page to my website and I was about to save it, but first I wanted to check one more thing on my homepage. I clicked the homepage on the bar on the left side of the screen so I could navigate to it. Before iweb loaded the page it quit and I lost all of my changes. When I went back onto iweb and clicked the same page, it did it again. Now I am unable to navigate to my homepage on iweb to edit it. All the other pages work. Can anyone help?

IPhone Homepage problem.

After downloading songs and syncing my iPhone, I was unable to access the iPhone homepage.
For some reason, after a call, it stayed on the "Slide to Answer" page.
Please help me with the problem.

Try to reset the iPhone. Press and hold both the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

XE beta install on windows xp - SOLUTION

Hi All,
after trying to install the XE beta on a couple of windows xp (with sp2) domain connected machines, i think i can finally provide an outline on how to go about and do it successfully.
After all installations (no matter if the logged in account was a local administrator, domain administrator or a domain user with administrator rights) we would find that there was no database, and that the oradata folder was empty.
Here's what we did:
A. during installation (before clicking the 'finish' button) go to %install_folder%\app\oracle\product\10.2.0\server\config and copy the seeddb folder to another location.
B. once the installation's finished, open sql plus and try to connect as sysdba, twice. we had ora-28547 errors all throughout the log files (in config\log).
to resolve this do the following:
1. remove all path locations that point to other oracle installation on your machine (you can add them back later).
2. make sure that sqlnet.ora says (none) and not (NTS) on the SQLNET.AUTHENTICATION_SERVICES line.
now you can try and connect as sysdba (connect sys/pwd as sysdba).
C. if you connect successfully, just follow the scripts run by xe.sql, run them by hand, and see if you can coup with the errors that appear (mainly cause you didn't copy the seeddb folder back to the config dir).
the only file i couldn't find anywhere is dbmssml.sql (in rdbms admin) but everything seems to work even without it.
That's all.

This post was very helpful. I was able to connect to sql*plus. I was still unable to connect to the home page though so I followed the following steps detailed in Post Go to Database Home Page Failure
1) Changed the 8080 port number:
Connect sys/password as sysdba
exec dbms_xdb.sethttpport(8087);
2)After this I was able to connect to the homepage but when I rebooted, I was again unable to connect to the homepage and when I connected to sql*plus I got the message "Connected to an idle instance" I tried typing "startup" at the SQL prompt and got the following error message:
ORA-01565: error in identifying file 'C:\oraclexe\app\oracle\product\10.2.0\serv
er\dbs/spfileXE.ora'
3)Still connected to sql*plus I executed the following statement:
create spfile from pfile='c:\oraclexe\app\oracle\product\10.2.0\server\conf
ig\scripts\init.ora';
File Created
4)Try "startup" again.
After this I was able to successfully login to the database.
Note:
I also changed my environment variable tns_admin to
C:\oraclexe\app\oracle\product\10.2.0\server\NETWORK\ADMIN
but I am not sure if this helped anything......

I do not want the Firefox update page to load. I want only the Home page to load.

When i first access the internet through Firefox, I get both the Firefox update page and my
requested Home page. I am unable to only get the Homepage even though this is the
setting in my control panel.
Basically i am getting two tabs at startup and only want the one.

Oracle 10gXE

hi, i have installed oracle 10g on my PC .
there was no problem in installation but I am unable to open the default homepage.(GUI)
but i can access the database from the SQL command line.
What can be the reason ??

go to control panel, Administrative Tools, services.
look for a service with a name similar to oracleDBConsoletns10...
See if it's started, if not start the service.
i have tried both
http://127.0.0.1:8080/apex/
as well as
http://localhost:8080/apex/have you changed the default port number for the database control? it should be 1158... in my case I have http://hostname:1158/em or instead of hostname you can use the ip address. To check your current ip address, if you are using dns open a command window and do ipconfig.

You need to change the defaultSiteId in /atg/multisite/DefaultSiteRuleFilter.properties to your new site id.
Also if you are using more than one sites then put their entries in
/atg/multisite/URLPatternMatchingRuleFilter.properties as follows

Unable to override BT Openzone on safari - it has overwritten my default homepage and is stopping me from searching any other page/site. Help!

XE Homepage - unable to connect

I have looked at the forum and still cannot figure out why the hompage will not show. IE says 'Page cannot be displayed'. Firefox says 'unable to connect'.
I'm on WinXP Pro with admin rights. Never have been able to view the homepage. I cant even connect by SQL*Plus.
