Unable to modify Aplpication module in Jdeveloper.

Environment: ADF BC, ADF Faces, Jdeveloper 10.1.3.0.4
I've been fighting this problem for 1 week now, and cannot find a logical explanation on why this is happenning...
After creating EOs and VOs alltogether with ApplicatioModule, and genearting Impl java classes, everytime I open DataModel project Jdeveloper modifies DataModel.jpr file and adds there some lines, preventing me from testing/modifying ApplicationModule and ViewObjects. Every time I try to double-click on AM it gives me an error, saying, that
"There are java errors for this object. The wizard will be read-only until they are corrected."
and then listing .java files from classes directory. I have these ALL files in src directory... If I manually remove references to /classes directory from DataModel.jpr - Jdeveloper will add them again when I try to navigate to DataModel project in Navigator.
It is very frustrating... Fortunately I did not have to modify my ApplicationModule last week, so I kept on developing my ViewController. Now I need to get into business of modifying AppModule, and request people from Oracle to explain what is going on, and how to fix it...

Yes I know where the files are, etc, and I can fix this by copying my .java files into classes directory, but since we use cvs, we excluded classes directory from being posted to cvs, so I would like to somehow "fix" the environment, so it is not looking for .java files in classes subdirectory... Is it possible at all?

Hi,
are you running an application you migrated from 10.1.3 to 11, or is it one that you created in JDeveloper 11. If its a migration case, can you try and re-create the part of the module in JDeveloper 11 to see if this reproduces. To me this sounds like a migration issue. Once you verified this, can you post the reply on JDeveloper and OC4J 11g Technology Preview

Unable to modify embedded Excel spreadsheet
I am having problems with 2 Xcelsius files. When I open them and try to change the tab name, the embedded Excel spreadsheet is coming up that it is protected, but I have never put a password on these 2 files.
The following pop-up message appears - "Workbook is protected and cannot be changed".

Assuming your using Xcelsius 2008, have you tried exporting the spreadsheet (Data > Export), check the exported workbook for passwords and then re-imported the spreadsheet back into your model?

Try copying the palette.xml file from jdev\multi\system to your system directory( jdev\system(9....). Also, what system are you using?

Unable to Modify DB_block_Size for OWB installation

We are try to install OWB server on oracle DB server in windows xp professional, at the time of installation oracle suggests to increase db_block_size from 8192 to at least 16k for better performance. We are unable to modify the same thru Console or enterprise manager in INIT file since it is disabled or even we tried with multiple options but no use.
Can you please help us ASAP & let us know if any clarification required.

Unable to modify database

hi,
i'm unable to perform the following operations:
unarchive a repository
create a new repository
create a new repository from schema
duplicate repository
i'm getting the error "unable to modify database".
I have tried restarting the MDM server but the problem persists.
This problem has never occured before. Has someone faced this issue before? if yes then could you kindly provide the cause and resolution?
I'm on SP05 patch2 HF1 (build 5.5.42.57). MDM is running on Oracle.

This error occurs due to a problem with the database on which MDM server is seated.
You can try one of these options to correct this problem:
- Check the oracle data base Listener configuration
- Stop and start the oracle service from the system on which it is installed.
Start->Program->oracle->
- After doing this stop and start the MDM service.
- Then try performing the above activities.
It should work.I had faced the similar error.

I have set up my Google account to sync with Calendar but I am unable to modify events. I tried to update an even t but the event reverted and lost the updated information after a molment.

Goto 'Application Server Navigator' from view menu. Right click in your intg server instance & debug it.
If it not solves the problem, go inside console of server instance & Activate any pending changes.
Last option to remove this instance & create a new one.

Unable to Import Diagnostics module

Hi,
I have added worker and web role in my Visual Studio Project. While, modifying the Cloud Configuration Settings there is no 'Microsoft.WindowsAzure.Plugins.Diagnostics.ConnectionStrings' settings name . For this I tried to import the diagnostics module in the
ServiceDefinition.csdef File of the solution but an error came up saying 'Unable to import the Diagnostics module. No manfiest found'.

Unable to run my pages from jdeveloper

From past 2 days am unable to run my OAF pages, actually what i did is i deleted the environment variable and again created a new one. I dont know why am unable to run the pages... The Error Which it is throwing is
"Unable to run the page DiagnosticsPG.xml. OAProject "C:\Jdeveloper10g\jdevhome\jdev\myprojects\OAProject.jpr" must reside in the "C:\Jdeveloper10g\jdevbin\jdev\myprojects" directory in order to run successfully." To fix the problem, quit jdeveloper and then either relocate all the associate project files, or correct the JDEV_USER_HOME enviorment variable on your computer "

I got some message(Migrate User Settings) when i run the jdeveloper for the first time after installation which says " The User Settings found in the user home directory were generated by a different installation of JDeveloper than what is currently running. To avoid complications , some settings will be restored to their defaults. Do u wish to continue?" When i say yes.. am facing the problem which i mentioned above i.e it is taking directory home as C:\Jdeveloper9i\jdevbin\jdev.... Yes am setting the JDEV_USER_HOME to c:\JDeveloper9i\jdevhome\jdev... and then trying to open that using a C:\JDeveloper9i\jdevbin\jdev\bin\jdevw icon

Unable to run struts project from jdeveloper 10.1.3

Hi,
I have created a struts-based application project using jdeveloper 10.1.3(build JDEVADF_10.1.3.1.0_NT..) by importing an ear file .The project seems to be built fine as i get no errors in compiling the entire project.I have included the Struts runtime library as well in the project.
But when i try to run the login.jsp from the struts-config.xml,i get the :
The page cannot be displayed message in the browser.
I dont see any errors in the Embedded OC4J log except few warnings lik dis:
