Error during testing Application Module in JDeveloper 11.1.1 Tech Preview 3

I am successfully using Jdeveloper 10.1.3 version
now i am trying to use new JDeveloper version 11.1.1 but i am initially get this error while i am trying to test my buisness components.
When i test my buisness components first time i got this error
ORA-01866: the datetime class is invalid
and on same window when i click on re-execute query on context menu of any view object it gives an proper output.
so plz try and find the solution i am stuck up here,
how can i go ahead when initially buisness component want work ??

Hi,
are you running an application you migrated from 10.1.3 to 11, or is it one that you created in JDeveloper 11. If its a migration case, can you try and re-create the part of the module in JDeveloper 11 to see if this reproduces. To me this sounds like a migration issue. Once you verified this, can you post the reply on JDeveloper and OC4J 11g Technology Preview

Testing application module in jdeveloper 9.0.2

I have created the following view:

i have created an entity object with wizard within jdeveloper9i
i have created an view object with wizard within jdeveloper9i
i have created an application module with wizard.
Problem:
while testing the application module i saw that the application module does not retrieve any rows
instead of 14 rows wich the view returns in sqlplus(Oracle8i EE release 8.1.7.2.0)

Junit test cases -error in creating Application Module

I am on JDeveloper 9i with OA Extension installed build 1550. I am trying to run Business Components Test Fixtures and getting the following error in setUp method of the fixture class at the following line
_am = Configuration.createRootApplicationModule("mycompany.oracle.apps.xxsan.invoiceholds.server.InvoiceHoldsAM", "Development");
The exception below..
java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: oracle.xml.parser.v2.SAXParser.setContentHandler(Lorg/xml/sax/ContentHandler;)V

Well I guess i figured it out myself. I use the findApplicationModule before calling the createApplicationModule. Apparently, bc4j does not like creating multiple application modules...it should just reuse the existing one instead of throwing this obscure invalid name exception.

No suitable driver - testing Application Module

I'm using the AVEconnect JDBC Driver which I've registered successfully with the IDE as well as placed in my ClassPath.
I've created entity and view objects using the aforementioned driver and placed them in an application module. To verify the application module, I right click on it and choose "test"... the resulting debug information in the console window shows a "no suitable driver" error.
No changes have been made to the IDE generated code.
What else should I check?

I believe that neither MySQL nor PostgreSQL will work with BC4J as they currently stand. I did my testing with JDev9i, but I would imagine that the issues are the same (and even if you got something working, you'd never get it to work in JDev9i).
Basically, neither database has all the SQL features that JDev9i relies on - including subqueries (sub-selects) and Savepoints (for partial rollbacks). PostgreSQl has most of the features, but poorly implemented drivers at this time. Its updatable resultset implementation is woefully incomplete as it now stands, but I'm not sure how necessary that is for BC4J (I could't get that far in testing).
As somebody mentioned to me in an email afterwards, MySQL may have almost enough features sometime after v4.02 (4.0 is now in Alpha), with the exception of Savepoints (it might be possible to modify the driver to work around that issue - just ignoring the savepoint might work so long as you never have database commit problems). They talk about implementing subqueries, foreign keys, and some other things they'd need to work well with JDev and BC4J. But I bet this stuff is 6-12 months away.

JBO-25001 Error substituting NewHireAM application Module

Hi,
I am working on an upgrade from EBS 11i to EBS 12.1.3. We have the NewHireAM extended to do further checks for duplicate persons etc. This worked fine on 11i, but when we try to implement this on R12, we get a JBO-25001 Name Clash Exception on the NewHireAM seeded Application module (stack trace included below). I tried using the version of JDeveloper appropriate for our EBS version to perform the substitution, but as soon as I use the jpximport I get the name-class exception. I can't seem to find any information on this anywhere. Can anyone help? I'm a bit new at OAF programming and am learning as I go, if there is any other information needed, please let me know.

No, the root AM here is TransactionAM.
Now that you said about searching in oracle directory, I found the same name under "/oracle/apps/pjm/inquiry/server/ComponentAM.xml". But, the one I am substituting is "/oracle/apps/wip/transaction/server/ComponentAM.xml". Do you think that would be an issue?

Error during SP application.'TP CONNECT SID ' returns ORA-03114 error.

Hi All,
Last week we were applying an Add-On SAPK-510AGINAIN. It was running in
phase IMPORT_PROPER for more than 10 hours without any update in logs.
So I went into SM50 cancelled the work processess. From then when I continue the Add-on installation, I get an error 'TP_CANNOT_CONNECT_TO_SYSTEM' and tp return code 230. When I see
the SLOG, it says R3trans cannot create a process. When I tried
doing 'tp connect PI7 pf=<profile name>, I get a error 'ORA-03114- NOt
connected to ORACLE' and also some SQL Query with ddntt table and few entries.
I also did a DBCHECK, the ABAP Dictionary is consistent with the
Database.Also I suspect the nametab entries should have been
inconsistent state when I killed the work process manually..

Oracle did not go down during SP application.. R3trans -d works fine and also the Transport tool tp check also is fine.. I have even upgraded the kernel to the latest level. STMS is configured for Single system landscape and it is also very well fine..

We are getting the following error during a test deployment and cannot install the app we built.

- Are you deploying on Windows 8.1?
- What locale does the deployment target machine have (English, German, etc)?

copy the structure from IR to test configuration, also be sure you put all right parametes like, BS and MI.
in test configuration, the fist step you configure the sender agreement, there, put the BS an sender MI, after put the payload and run test.

Runtime error when testing function module 'RSWR_RFC_SERVICE_TEST'

Hi,
I'am integrating BIW 3.5 with EP 6.0 according to the report 'RSPOR_SETUP'.I've carried all the steps,but an error on step 12 : system failure during call of function module 'RSWR_RFC_SERVICE_TEST' is there .When I test the connection with function module 'RSWR_RFC_SERVICE_TEST', a runtime error is coming i.e. "<--Localization failed: ResourceBundle='com.sap.engine.services.rfcengine.RFCR'.
Any help would be highly appreciated.

From this I can understand that a critical resource is missing which is required to start the RFC service in Reporting Services Web Runtime. This might be because of incomplete patch deployment. Deploy all the required software component archives related to com.sap.engine.services component and then retry this... I think this should solve the issue.

As per SAP,
Generally, this error is caused by the complex typing of the parameter of the function module.
The test environment of the function builder cannot represent these parameters in the input template (for example generic types, xtrings, strings, object references).
My suggestion is to use where used list for the function module, and check how it has been called in other programs and implement directly in the program , then it will work and give u result.

Page cannot be displayed error using 'Test Web Module' in EM

I am trying to test my deployed app and get the subject error when I try to get to a page that requires authentication. I can successfully bring up my help page (not restricted) but no other. I've set up my app deployment settings to map my users role to 'all users and all groups' and the security provider has been set up to use our 3rd party LDAP instance...
When this error occurs, there is nothing noted anywhere in the application log file. Where else can I look for clues to debug this?

Dont know where to bind or rebind if there is any naming exception.I just created service locator..but i dont know where to rebind it

The global JNDI name assigned to each Remote EJB in sun-ejb-jar.xml must be unique across all the applications deployed to the application server. This message shows that more than Remote ejb uses the global JNDI name "ejb/CustomerFacadeBean" :

Double-check all your sun-ejb-jar.xmls to remove the conflict , then undeploy all your apps and deploy again.

Adapter_plain and engine error during test service

Hi All,
Am not able to test the adapter_plain service under default_host->sap->xi. When i do a Test Service i get an Action Cancelled page with the url http://iscsapapp4w:8010/sap/xi/adapter_plain?sap-client=100
I checked the Pipeline URL parameters in SLD for my Integration Server BS, httpport setting in eXhangeProfile and specific confirmations IS_URL parameter in sxmb_adm.
And i get the following error when i Test default_host->sap->xi->engine
Pipeline ID which is expected as value of attribute "type" in the URL, does not exist in the Integration Engine (URL = /sap/xi/engine?sap-client=100)
