Unable to query for GL balances

Hi All,
I'm using Oracle EBS R12.1.3. I'm unable to find a gl balance for a specific account. I can see there is information about it into the database but i cannot understand why it is not appearing into the application.
Here are my steps:
1. Navigate to GL Manager responsibility
2. Inquiry > Account
3. Query for specific code combinition
4. No results
I tried with another one and I receive data into the application. I tried to compared them in the database tables - gl_balances, gl_je_headers, gl_je_lines and they looks like similar data (flag, status, etc)
Any ideas?

I ran the account analysis report and i'm able to see the data. Also - I can see this info in the Journals screen in GL. Any ideas why it's not showing in Inquiry > Account?

  • Query for highest balance for each BP

    I'm working on a query to assist with determining appropriate Credit Limits for our customers.  I have been asked to research if we can develop a query to give what the highest balance has been for each BP all in one report.  The target query will return back all of our current BP's and what their highest balance have been.
    I found the following query by Gordon that will return the highest balance for a specified BP and have been working to use this as a base to create my query, but haven't had any luck so far.

    Thanks for the help, but this calculates the current outstanding balance which is already available via the OCRD table.  What I'm looking for is the max Cumulative Balance for the BP.  We currently find that value by selecting the arrow for Account Balance from the BP and then finding the highest balance in the Cumaliative Balance (LC) field.  SAP is calculating this somehow and we would like to be able to run a query to return back the max cumulative balance for each BP in our system.  I'm not even sure this can be replicated in a query.  I'm going to look through the refdb.chm help file to see if I can find anything to help out.
    Any insight will be greatly appreciated.

    Eg: Suppose one Invoice having 5000.00 for which i got 3 incoming payments of 1000.00 2000.00 and 500.00, now i need to give a report as

    Business wants to run the report for any date in a past...

    What is the query for Accounts Payable Trial Balance (APXTRBAL) in 11.5.10? You can get the code by opening the report in Reports Builder and get the query.
    Or, enable trace/debug as per (FAQ: Common Tracing Techniques within the Oracle Applications 11i/R12 [ID 296559.1]).

  • Unable to create Spotlight query for expression

    I don't want to assume that the following Console Log entry is a Spotlight indexing issue since the PID is from MAIL however the following entry appears repeatedly every minute to five minutes:
    "12/1/10 6:33:01 PM Mail[2698] Unable to create Spotlight query for expression ([email protected]) && (kMDItemContentType == 'com.apple.mail.emlx' || kMDItemWhereFroms == 'message:*'w)"
    Why would Mail try to create a Spotlight query like this, why so often, and where should I look to correct or remove the offending source?
    BTW, the noted email address has been changed for privacy. Otherwise the syntax is exact.

    I, too, have been seeing this same error ever since I started syncing my mail via .mac or whatever they call it these days. The whole experience has been so problematic that I've discontinued using it, but it's taken me weeks to clean up the disaster it's made of my multiple computers.
    This issue seems to be one of the last remnants of the whole debacle, and I'd love to hear any suggestions on how to clean it up without having to do complete wipe/reinstall of everything, which is pretty much all that's left to try.

  • Unable to view entries in FAGLL03 for Zero Balance Clearing Account

    We are facing a unique problem. We are not able to view the line items of the Zero Balance clearing account. The master data of the G/L has been activated for line items but still the display of the items is not happening. I am getting the foll message:
    Account 19900000, company code 1100 is clearing account
    Message no. MSITEM111
    Diagnosis
    You have stored account 19900000 in company code 1100 as a clearing account. At the same time, you use line item management with this account.
    System Response
    Error message issued because line item display cannot read data for an account in a ledger if line items exist partially in the entry view together with clearing items for which there are no line items. In such cases, only the data with line items would be selected.
    Procedure
    Check the Customizing settings or account control. Change the settings so that only automatic postings without line items can be made to the account, or select a different account as the clearing account.

    In splitting case you need not the give the line item display tab for Zero Balance Clearing Account.
    Just remove that line item display in FS00 for Zero Balance account. You could be able to see the entries in FAGLL03

    We are implementing CMS Cluster solution between two BOE server on Windows 2003 OS. As per documentation, One CMS server is primary, which coordinates with secory CMS server within same cluster. Does both server share equal load without external load balancer, by BOE cluster functionality? What are the tuning parameters for Load balancing between 2 CMS servers?

    If you somehow needed to accomplish load balancing between the 2 machines which wasn't 50/50 you could possibly try dns aliasing and have more copies of one machine than the other.  I'm not recommending this, just thinking out loud here.

  • Purchasing 11i - Unable to receive for a po line

    Initially I got this query as simple payable issue
    A PO shipment where PO Qty is say 50 and already received is say 48. the user is now trying to find expected receipt for the PO and is unable to find it.
    Gets error AP-PO-14094: No records meet your search criteria
    When I checked from the back-end I could find that user had matched an invoice to the same PO and was later cancelled.
    Now user is not able to receive for the balance Qty 2
    Need help to analyse this using sql query
    Application instance is 11.5.10.2

  • Unable to Query Table

    Hi Folks,
    I'm stuck in weird situation. User complaints fetching data from table A is timing-out ( as per application standards). I decided to collect latest statistics(dbms_stats) on index used by query which is running for more than 12 hours. Ideally which should not.It is partition table and got close to 10 millions records.
    1) I checked dba_waiters - no rows
    2) I checked v$locked_object/v$locks - no rows
    3) I'm unable to run explain-plan for any criteria on that table
    4) I'm unable to open table data-tab in Toad/ Sql developer.
    5) I'm unable to query a single partition; no error but it keeps on running.

    I'm running SCOM 2012 R2 with UR2, and the Cluster Management Pack v6.0.7063.0

    I can confirm that I am able to browse the MSCluster_Node class locally, as well as remotely using WMIEXPLORER and WBEMTEST,
    however it only works when I set the Authentication Level to
    Packet Privacy.  If I do not select Packet Privacy, a WMI event log error 5605 is logged on the remote servers application log that says...
    The root\mscluster namespace is marked with the RequiresEncryption flag.  Access to this namespace might be denied if the script or application does not have the appropriate authentication level.  Change the authentication level to Pkt_Privacy
    and run the script or application again.
    I can confirm that all firewalls are turned off, and there are no firewalls between the management servers and the agents in question.  AV exclusions have been done and appear to be in place.  The nodes are all Windows 2008 R2 with SP1.  As
    far as I can tell there is plenty of memory available on each of the nodes in question (50%+) of RAM is available. 
    If I manually run the "Discover the Windows Server 2008 R2 Cluster Components" task in the Cluster Service State section of the management pack in the Monitoring Pane in the console, on the nodes in question - the discovery runs successfully.
    Does anybody have any other ideas or suggestions I could try?
