i am new to RPM project. I have created few roles in one project/ or Item. Now i want see all the roles in RPM tables and the relation between porject/ item GUID and role GUID. since business want see Bucket; Item; and roles in same report

It should be a consequence of the split, and not a cause. So you can ignore it
3) Billing date for billing index VBRK-FKDAT
In sales order and delivery you should set the same billing date. Alternatively, the the first screen of VF01 please set a Defailt billing date
4) Customer purchase order number VBRK-BSTNK_VF
It is necessary that sales order to be billed and sales order referenced to delivery to be billed have the same purchase order number. There is not other way.
5) Assignment number VBRK-ZUONR
In transaction VTFA and VTFL at header level setup the field 'Assignment number' so that it is the same (example 'E')
6) Translation Date
Same solution of point 3.

One Billing Document with Delivery- and Order-Related billing items
We wish to include both delivery-related and order-related billing items in a single billing document. Is that possible using configuraiton? We have seen some forums indicate it is not possible without ABAP.

I still think this is possible.
Delivery related billing or order related billing is decided by the configuration of billing relevance in the Item category. So if those things are properly configured, it should be possible to include delivery related items and order related items together in one invoice document.
When you do that, you have to ensure that the item categories are relevant for either delivery related billing or order related billing.
Then in copy control, only order related I.Cs shoudl be configured in VTFA and only delivery related I.Cs should be configured in VTFL. There should not be any mix up in this configuration. If there is any mix up, then it may cause problems.
If these two configurations are done, it is possible. You may also note that in VF01, it asks only for documents, not specifically deliveries or orders. So it is possible in standard SAP itself. Please configure it and try it. -

How to show statistics of main item and related items with less filter?
Hi experts,
Have any of you come thro' similar requirements before?
To show the statistics of a main item in different aspect in a document and show the comparison of this item in a particular aspect with other related items as inputted at prompt.
You can image that, for the comparison, if I build another query for the related items, there will be duplicated dimensions, which we aim to avoid as duplicated dimension confuse end users.
However, if i build the main items and related items in same query, for those reports of main item only, I need to add a report filter one by one!
Any one of you have better idea?

You must create and associate a query for your field.
click on the field you want items to be listed and press Shift + F2
catch the keydown event of this field and check pval.charpressed = 9 (tab key press)

CProjects-MS Project - import and export of task-role-resource assignment
Hi,
We are on PPM5.0
We are currently working on cProjects-MSP client integration.
What we have not been able to configure for import/export so far is:
1. Task-Role-Resource assignment
Whereas we are are able to import/export the "Person Responsible" and "Role Responsible" fields, we have not been able to align the task-role-resource assignments.
We see a "Resource Name" column (Standard) in MSP. When we click on the drop down, we see all the roles from the cProjects project. But the alignment does not happen.
Summary:
On export and import, we need to automatically see the role-resource-task assignment. How is this possible?
2. Code field to "VC_BUPA_GUID" gets a number which is not the BP ID.
Is it possible to import the BP numbers in MSP. Also, how can we assign a number to the role in MSP such that on import into cProjects, the role is already staffed with the corresponding BP.
3. Is it possible to export all the resources (BPs) into a drop down in MSP - like we see the Project Type, Role Type etc.

Thanks for your inputs.
When we export to MSP, we see the cProjects roles under the "Resource Name" drop down in MSP.
However, they are only seen when we expand on the drop down.
For e.g. RoleA, and RoleB are two roles in cProjects project, along with many other roles.
Both of these roles are assigned to a task, say TASK1.
When exported to MSP, we expect both of these roles to show against TASKI, as "RoleA, RoleB" under the "Resource Name" column. However, these roles are not seen. They only appear as elements of drop down, along with all other roles in the project, when we explicitly click on the drop down.
Please let me know if I are missing out on something.

The coffiguration steps for Cash Management are as follows:
1 Maintain FM Area
2 Assign company code to FM Area:
3 Activate Project Cash Management in company code:
4 Create and Assign Commitment Items
5 Check Assignment of G/L Account / Commitment Item
There are 6 types of SAP cost planning functions available to Project System.
Hierarchical Cost Planning
Unit Costing
Detailed Planning
Easy Cost planning
Network Costing
Assigned Order Planned Costs
In Hierarchical Cost Planning , planned costs are maintained for each WBS element in CJ40 transaction.
WBS Budgeting allocates the overall cost estimates to individual work items so a baseline can be set to measure project performance and control spending. In other words , budget is approved planned costs.
Budgeting can be done thru T Code CJ30 .

We intend to show related items and also the cutsomer cross references inside the configurator screen.Looks like out of box it is not supported
anyone has acheived similar to this ?You can create CX extensions to get the data from external source and bind it to the UserStr property of the node and display it in the configurator screen. Or you can write onCommand CX which will open a new window and you can fetch/display custom data in it.

Item category for delivery and order related billing.
Hi All,
I have am faceing one problem in QEC. My client having delivery related billing and order related billing. For we have maintain only one billling document(order related and delivery related).
I have a item category in the sales order Zo09 for this item category system allowing the user to create both billing documents(order and delivery related) Please advise how i can stop the users to create delivery related and order related.
but we have configured delivery related eventhough system allowing to create both billing documents.

What is the meaning of this statement ?
Say in a single order or order type say OR there can be two materials with different item categories say TAN and ZTAN and
TAN with billing relevance as A( delivery related billing) and ZTAN with billing relevance as B (order related billing )
If that happens the billing will be split
In VOV8 we mention for OR the order related billing as F1 and delivery related billing as F2 in the billing tab
Now in billing TAN will pick F2 as it is delivery related billing
and
ZTAN will pick F1 as it is order related billing
Suppose in your sales doc type if you have mentioned both as F2 then also there will a billing split in billing there will be two F2 invoices TAN will pick one F2 invoice and ZTAN will pick another F2 invoice and this is a wrong way of doing things

Not at all possible in SAP as we can mention only one control in the billing relevance field in item cat
Your issue needs more clarity about your problem for suggesting some suitable help

Cannot map roles other than Project Administrator and SOA Designer
I've installed PS4 HC FP Stage 3 on Windows, and I have seeded the demo community users. When I use Business Process Workspace to map roles to these users, the only roles available to me in the Select Role list are Project Administrator and SOA Designer. I was expecting to be able to map far more roles, thus:
* mtwain needs the Project Creator, Designer, Deployer, Project Documentor, and SOA Designer roles.
* jcooper needs the Designer role.
Any idea what's wrong?I would like to know also. I have made many DVDs, but the number order does seem to be random. For presentation purposes I want to play a specific clip by hitting it's corresponding number on the DVD player remote when the DVD is at a complete stop (so if I put the movie clip in the 2 spot and hit the number 2 on the remote, then the 2 movie clip will play). I can get this to work from the menu by dropping them in iDVD in the order I want and waiting for each to encode before dropping the next, but at a complete stop I cannot ensure number 2 on the remote will play number 2 on the DVD. To me it looks like iDVD gives those numbers in the order in which the audio is encoded when burning, with the shorter clips first and longer ones last.
Can anyone help me? -

For example, a project definition includes the project profile and organizational details (controlling area, company code, etc.).
All project definitions must include a settlement rule. A settlement rule contains a G/L account that receives the accrued actuals. In some situations, a settlement rule uses multiple G/L accounts. For example, one G/L account is used for settlement for the first half of a year, but in the second half, a different G/L account is used. However, the settlement rule does not allow for multiple receivers to be active at the same time.
