Unable to recon using FlatFile - peoplesoft Connector

Hi I am unable to do BulkUpload using FlatFile. The scheduler Task events are not being logged into log file,hence unable to see the error. I have checked all the configurations, seems to be correct. I am using Peoplesoft ER 9.1.0 and OIM 9.1.0.1 on Linux platform with Weblogic Server 10.3
I dont know how to get the logging working, I have checked log.properties and enabled everything needed.
log4j.logger.XELLERATE = DEBUG
log4j.logger.XELLERATE.SCHEDULER = DEBUG
log4j.logger.XELLERATE.SCHEDULER.Task = DEBUG
log4j.logger.OIMCP.PSFTER=DEBUG
Can anybody help me with recon problem and logging problem

I had an issue with getting the PSFT flat file connector to work in the past. Since then, I've always gone with either a custom flat file connector or the GTC.

  • Target Recon using the ICF connector

    Hi all
    I am trying to reconcile the accounts from target but i m doing this in ICF connector
    I gave It Resource as type It Resource
    and not construct a Connector object with IT resource value on SPI side
    But i did nt get eh It Resource value in API side
    I am getting all the information except IT resource key
    As per my understanding , there is no need to pass It Resource key on SPI side
    ICF API will construct the key as per the recon parameter info
    Any help highly appreciated

  • OIM 11g - PeopleSoft connector - Future Dated Recon Events

    Hi OIM Experts,
    I am having a problem, processing the future dated events using OIM peoplesoft connector.
    All the current dated, events are getting linked and processed.
    The future dated events in OIM are in deferred state as expected. But after running the "Run Future Dated Reconciliation Events " , the event is not linked to any user, but state changes to data received.
    The user exists in OIM.
    Any ideas on how to resolve this.

    I am trying to recon from FlatFile from a specified path, I have given all the Mandatory fields EmplId, LastName, Firstname, EmployeeType, Status in the flatfile and I have only one record in it(just for testing purpose). • Target Recon using ICF flatfile connector in OIM 11gR2

    Hi,
    we developed a flatfile recon using Oracle Assets (where there was a predeveloped oracle flatfile connecter using ICF) and deployed the Flatfile connector on java connector server using ICF. for test purposes, We took a user created already in OIM and enter the same user details in flatfile and ran a recon operation. We created a scheduled job and ran the job successfully. When we check the recon events, it shows a user creation successful in the events. When we went and checked the user profile, the flatfile resource is not reflected in the User Accounts Tab.
    Can anyone please let me know how we can ensure that the flatfile resource is reflected in the Accounts provisioned section?
    Thanks

    Have you created Application instance for this resource in OIM.
    You have to create Application Instance -> Login to Sysadmin url->Create sandbox->click on Application Instance-> create-> select resource object and itresource->save it-> now click on create form-> save it -> referesh dropdown and select the form now save the appinstance.->publish sandbox
    Run scheduled task "Catalog sync" similar to that. So, Appinstance will be available to catalog for provisioning.
    Now you can run the target recon. your account will be available under User->accouts tab.

  • OIM 9041 DB Connector - Unable to recon "IT Resource" value

    Guess it's my turn to ask a question.
    I'm using the DB Connector version 9041 to connect to a SQL Server 2005 table.
    I have my recon field for the IT Resource defined as "IT Resource" type "IT Resource" however, recon never creates an entry for this field, so when i recon, it never populates my required field on my process form for the IT Resource lookup.
    Is there a different hard coded value or was this forgotten with the latest release of the adapter to add the IT Resource into the hashmap when reconned?
    Also, my reconciliation timestamp never updates after performing the recon.
    Thanks.
    -Kevin

    And one quick note, when i leave the value blank on my IT Resource for "Reconciliation Timestamp" it does get populated with a 0 when completed. When i unzipped the jar and decompiled the class file DBReconciliation using jad, there is this line in the code:
    Long LastReconTime = new Long(System.currentTimeMillis());
    I know it's not going to be exact as the original code, but it's as if the get current time doesn't work properly.

    Hi,
    I don't have enough time to investigate the issue so I fixed the issue by using look up instead of transform. Basically, create a look up and treat it as the switch case. Once case matched just give it a decode value to what we want.
    I hope this help.

    Hi Pal,
    you need to use the Java Connector v 2.1.8 and there is no need to register the DLL.

  • What are minimum Admin acct permissions for PeopleSoft connector?

    Hi,
    We're in the process of configuring the OIM Connector 9.1.0 for PeopleSoft, and the documentation on "Creating a Target System Account for Connector Operations" describes creating a Permission List in PeopleSoft that seems to assume the Admin ID for the connector will also be the ID used to login to the PeopleSoft application itself and manage things on that side (I'm a PeopleSoft developer so I have a pretty clear idea that, for example, the connector's account doesn't need to be able to access App Designer, the developer's IDE, just to send transactions).
    We already have other accts that can login to the PeopleSoft side of things and do the necessary configuration and monitoring there, we just want the connector to be able to connect <g>, and then have access to the target component interface... but not a bunch of other privileges (working on the "least amount of access required" principal).
    Has anyone pared down the items in the Permission List defined for use by the connector, and if so what have you determined are the minimum privileges needed to connect and do provisioning?
    Note we will be using the Remote Manager service to implement.
    thanks,
    Anne

    Software Update gave an error I can't reproduce at the moment; but the upshot was that it could not write the package file to the directory. Permissions were drwxr-xr-x. I've solved that by making /Library/Packages writable by any user in group admin. (chown root:admin /Library/Packages; chmod 775 /Library/Packages.) Call me paranoid but I don't want to make that directory world-writable.
    The reason I'm updating in that fashion is that I choose to use the "minimalist approach" to system updates discussed in a MacFixIt article at http://www.macfixit.com/article.php?story=20070427001751397.

  • PeopleSoft Connector IT Resource setup

    Hello,
    I am setting the PeopleSoft Connector up in OIM and ran into some incomplete documentation from Oracle. I am following the installation guide named "Oracle® Identity Manager
    Connector Guide for PeopleSoft Employee Reconciliation
    Release 9.1.1
    E11205-06"
    In chapter 2, section 2.2.1.3 Configuring the IT Resource, the guide only shows 2 parameters (Configuration Lookup and IsActive).
    The PSFT connector in design console shows more parameters to set. Some of them already have some default values. Some of them have blank and they are:

    What are these parameters and what to set them to? Do I need to change any of the default values that are already set?
    Thanks

    I got the log to work properly. I just went back to the People connector installation guide and followed the instructions from there.
    Now, I have another question:
    I am running the Peoplesoft HRMS Trusted Reconciliation and successfully brought in some users.
    I would like to show the user middle name in OIM. For this I did the following set up in the design console:
    1. In the RO Peoplesoft HRMS, Reconciliation Fields, I added the "Middle Name" field
    2. In the Lookup.PSFT.HRMS.PersonBasicSync.AttributeMapping. I added Code Key = Middle Name and Decode = MIDDLE_NAME~NAMES~NAME_TYPE=PRI~EFFDT (I just set it up the same way that the OOTB first name and last name)
    3. In the Lookup.PSFT.HRMS.PersonBasicSyn.Recon, I added Code Key = Middle Name and Decode = Middle Name
    I ran a limited reconciliation for a few users. They showed up in OIM without the middle name. In the reconciliation manager, I can see the Middle Name as part of the Reconciliation Data. But the middle name does not show up in the USR form.
    What am I missing?
    Thanks

    How can you utilise the 30 pin VGA adapter used on the iPad 3 and iPhone 4S on the iPad 4 which uses a lightning connector?

    See the following. Also take note below and from the linked page above that video mode is NOT supported:

  • Can you use the iPod connector cable to charge the iPhone or

    only the cable that came with the iPod?
    Also, I put the iPhone briefly into my old inMotion speakers and a message
    came up saying that the device didn't support an iPhone and would either not
    charge my iPhone or have bad consequences for my iPhone-i wasn't sure-it did
    work in the speakers tho.

    I use an iPod connector almost all the time and have never had a problem, even after market iPod connectors, but you'll get a different response depending on who you talk to. The guy at the Genius Bar told me yes, but phone support said no. Short answer...You should be able to use the iPod connector.
    When you plug the iPhone into some 3rd party devices, you'll get a message stating "not compatible with iPhone" but that is because you are going to get interference because of the cell signal. You can put it into Airplane mode to avoid the interference or just deal with the interference and just click OK. That being said, I have read other posts where these devices do cause damage to the iPhone so proceed at your own risk.

    My iPad is tellin me I can not use the camera connector because it uses too much power..... ***

    I'm having same problems.   If I connect my blackberry it says it uses too much power.  If I take sd card out of phone and connect that way I get the same message.    The leaflet with the connector says go to Apple.com/support/iPad to find list of compatible cameras..........  I'm still trawling the site to find any such list!    Just need to know if it will work with a blackberry .....  If not I've got to take it back.    Have been advised by a friend to cut my losses get my money back and use Bump to transfer my pics.    I don't own a traditional camera because my phone has a great one.  Really don't want to have to carry a camera about with me!   They don't make it easy do they!
