Unable to register a service in JES4 - DTD error

I'm trying to register a sample authentication service in JES4. When I run the amAdmin command it thorws the following error.
"Error 10: Cannot process requests: com.iplanet.am.admin.cli.AdminException: XML file does not follow
the right DTD." amAdmin.error "Not Available" dc=bnsf,dc=com "Not Available" INFO "cn=dsameuser,ou=DSAME Users,dc=bnsf,d
c=com" 139.51.72.85 "cn=dsameuser,ou=DSAME Users,dc=bnsf,dc=com" 139.51.72.85
The command I'm trying to register is
/opt/SUNWam/bin/amadmin -u amadmin -w password -s /opt/SUNWam/web-src/services/config/auth/default/sampleAuth.xml
I've placed the JARs in /opt/SUNWam/lib/ directory and resource bundle in /opt/SUNWam/locale/ directory.
Both root and non-root users throw the same error.
Any help in this regard is highy appreciated.
Thanks in Advance!
P.S:These sample files are working fine in JES1 environment.

  • Unable to register web service in CF 7

I am unable to register a web service on admin without providing a username/password. the ws works well enough on other systems without even providing the username/password.
Any replies will be appreciated. thanks!

Wow, that's interesting (that you can invoke the web service without a username/password in CFML, but can't register it in the Admin).
Still, I want to understand what makes you want to do that (register it in the admin). You say, "I have a pool of web services to manage so I assume admin to be the best place to maintain them seeing on a broader perspective." I'm not sure what you mean by that.
Besides a little more explanation, I'd still ask: if you can't get around this (not saying that it should fail, but just if it can't be resolved), do you at least agree that you don't NEED to define the web services this way to use them. In fact, the opposite is true: if you invoke them in CFML (whether with createobject/cfobject/cfinvoke) that will populate this Admin page for each web service that's invoked, so you could "get around" the problem and have all your web services listed this way, for whatever value that offers.
But yes, it seems it should work the way you want to. I'm not denying that.
    Just trying to help.

I is till throwing error after changing <wsdl:service name="AVCadDataFeed">Because still there are problems in WSDL. Error description gives the detail -

Make sure that port attribute has right value.
Also, what should be the value of the <soap:address location attribute in the service elementFrom Web Services Description Language (WSDL) 1.1 specification (http://www.w3.org/TR/wsdl#_soap:address) -
The SOAP address binding is used to give a port an address (a URI). A port using the SOAP binding MUST specify exactly one address. The URI scheme specified for the address must correspond to the transport specified by the soap:binding.

  • Unable to register my data warehouse in Service Manager

I have been trying to register my data warehouse but keep getting the same error message each time - "Invalid URI:  the hostname could
not be parsed."  I know the issue is on the ServiceManager database side of things, but there is not a lot of information related to this error message and the info I do find is unrelated to ServiceManager.  I have gone as far as building a
brand new data warehouse server and reinstalling all of the data warehouse databases from scratch.  It doesn't matter if I tried to register with the original data warehouse environment or the new environment, I get the same error message.  I also
received a powershell command from Microsoft Support to help clean up any residual entries in the ServiceManager database that might be left over.  At this point I'm at a loss on how to proceed.  Anyone ever run into this issue?
    Here's the event log message:
Unable to register Service Manager installation with Data Warehouse installation.
     Data Warehouse Server: DW_SCSM
     Service Manager Management Server: FlowSMRC
Exception: Microsoft.EnterpriseManagement.UI.Core.Shared.PowerShell.PSServiceException: Invalid URI: The hostname could not be parsed.

       at Microsoft.EnterpriseManagement.UI.Core.Shared.PowerShell.PSHostService.Invoke(String cmd, Object[] input)
       at Microsoft.EnterpriseManagement.ServiceManager.UI.Administration.DWRegistration.Registration.DWRegistrationHelper.AcceptChanges(WizardMode wizardMode)
Also, I tried registering the data warehouse using powershell Add-SCDWMgmtGroup and get an error saying that Cannot associate Service Manager installation on scsm_server with Service Manager Data Warehouse installation on dw_server.

Just got additional information about this error. If you run the following query in SQL pointing to the ServiceManager database you should see the name of the Management Server.  The query is:
    select * from MT_Microsoft$SystemCenter$ResourceAccessLayer$SdkResourceStore
There is a column named Server_<some GUID> that should contain the Management Sever NetBIOS name.  If it has some other name, run an update query to ensure the column has the NetBIOS name of the Management Server.  Restart the SCSM Console
and retry the Database Registration again and it should succeed.
Microsoft has said that this is normally caused by either moving the database or database server to another server and the value is never updated.
Try registering the DW Server again and see if you have better luck.

If this still needed. Take a look in Your WSDL file - any references to schemas etc. Are they accessible on server? For example - XSD file have absolute file system link - change it to project level import (copy xsd file to project) or publish to MDS.

The service pack  has a model number (0C07942) and has written on it ideapad U/Y/Z/G :1 yr onsite -3/3/1  and inside it I have a offering number and an authorization number.
i have also mailed all my details to [email protected] with no reply from them for a month now.

  • Unable to Externally Register Phone Services on Cisco Jabber Client via Expressway E

    Hi,
I have currently deployed Cisco Jabber along with Expressway C and E for external regeneration without VPN. I have successfully registered IM and Presence service externally on the internet and I am able to chat with other Jabber users.
I am not able to register phone services for Cisco Jabber client who are registering externally over the internet without VPN.
I have checked that all the users are able to use IM and Presence along with Phone services in the internal network and over the internet using VPN. I have configured the required DNS SRV records on both the internal and external DNS Servers.
I am attaching a screen shot of the Jabber Client that is registered over the internet along with this post for your reference.
Appreciate if you can share your thoughts on the same.
Please do let me know if you need any further informaiton.
    Thank you.
    Regards,
    Joseph Chirayath.

I am testing with an android device, and I had to add a "digest user" on the BOT device in order for this to work. Phone services are now connected.

  • Unable to register Foundation products to Shared Services (EPM 11.1.1)

    Hi All,
I'm installing EPM 11.1.1 (only the foundation yet) and after some errors it looks ok now.
Even the validate option gives only green fields so that looks fine.
The only thing is that i cannot register any tool (PMA, Calc Manager, Smart Space and Workspace) with Shared Services).
I get error's during configuration and cannot find anything in Shared Services.
Can anybody help me to solve this issue?
    Thanks in advance,
    Marc

    Hi,
From the Tuxedo documentation, LIBTUX_CAT:582 is described as follows along with a recommended action.
    >
    582
ERROR: Unable to register, registry table full
    Description
The BEA TUXEDO system was attempting to find a registry table slot for a process, but the registry table was full.
    Action
Increase the MAXACCESSERS parameter in the UBBCONFIG file, rebuild the TUXCONFIG file, then reboot the application and try again.
    >
So try increassing MAXACCESSERS and see if your problem goes away.

    Please help

Kind of.  I never actually solved the bug, but I did make it past the install.
Upon running Adobe Flash Builder 4.7 Plug-in Installer it appeared to crash and only load a blank screen with a single unclickable button.  It wasn't actually "hanging", and would react when I clicked on the program menu and moused over "Services".  This would allow my clicks and keystrokes to register with the program, but only after I mouse over the "Services" menu item.  For example, you need to click "okay", then mouse over "Services".  When you want to enter text you need to click in the text box, and mouse over "Services".  Then you need to type the text you want, and mouse over "Services" to see the text appear.  It's a PITA, but you can get through the install by doing this.
After installing the FB plug-in starting eclipse with editors open appeared to cause errors.  If this happens, this is because it seems that FB attempts to load when eclipse starts up.  Close all editors and restart eclipse.  The Welcome page for FB may pop open up.  At the bottom there is a check box that will keep that form loading - check it.  If the page does not open when eclipse starts, then open up an MXML file.  The Welcome page should load, and you can check the box.
I hope this helps you move forward.  Also, if you find an actual solution please let me know.
