can any one help us to resolve this issue.
Thanks

Hi EveryOne,
I want to specify some more details about the above mentioned issue. We have created a new user and assigned the oc4jadmin roles to it.
we are trying to deploy the soa order booking application projects from jdev 10.1.3.1.0.We could deploy all the other modules except the following:
FullFillmentESB
OrderBookingESB
OrderBookingBPEL
Is this an issue with configuring the new user which we using to deploy the soa order booking application.Although we could create Application Server Connection And Integration Server Connection Successfully(tested) with new user credentials.
When we opened the ESB console we could see the default system and bpel system.
SOA Suite is installed on Windows Platform on a Remote System.
Can anyone help in resolving this issue.
Thanks In Advance.

Hello
We are unable to register the UWL.
Following is the status of current configurations:
1. SSO works fine.
2. JCO to all systems are fine.
3. Unable to register the WebFlowConnector and AlterConnector
The WebFlowConnector has following settings:
System Alias: ECCCLNT500
Connector Type: WebFlowConnector
The error while registering WebFlowConnector is:
System ECCCLNT500: Tue Feb 16 20:14:03 EET 2010
(Connector) :com.sap.netweaver.bc.uwl.connect.ConnectorException:Tue Feb 16 20:14:03 EET 2010
: No User mapping set up for user USER.PRIVATE_DATASOURCE.un:Administrator system :ECCCLNT500
Is there any specific area to verify?
Another area, which I think is related, Connection Test for Connectors is also failing and gives SSO error. While SSO for users is activated and in working condition. The exact error while testing Connection Test for Connectors is:
Test Connection with Connector
Test Details:
The test consists of the following steps:
1. Retrieve the default alias of the system
2. Check the connection to the backend application using the connector defined in this system object
Results
Retrieval of default alias successful
Connection failed. Make sure that Single Sign-On is configured correctly
Regards
YashFinally, we got it through.
We were doing two major mistakes, and until I myself looked into we were not able to identify the root cause of problem.
The two mistakes we were doing:
1. We had a user communication uwl_service in R/3 but it was missing in portal. Even after we created it, our administrator was logged in as Admin instead of uwl_service.
2. We goofed up the Connector settings:
System Administration -> System Landscape -> Browse to your System (double click on it) -> Select Connector from the Property Catalog
0. Use appropriate group in group. Check with BASIS consultant to know correct Group.
1. In the Logical System Name type the correct Logical System Name. Check with BASIS consultant to know correct Logical System Name.
2. In the message server, instead of Hostname type the IP address of your message server. Check with BASIS consultant to know correct IP Address.
3. Remote Host Type should be set to 3 if the message server is R/3.
4. SAP Client should be client to which you want to connect in Message Server.
5. SID should be the SID of Message Server.
6. Server Port should be the correct port for Message Server. Check with BASIS consultant to know correct Port Number.
7. Rest all settings should be left to defult.
8. To know if these settings are correct, along with BASIS guy perform the following: Logon to portal with an administrator user in EP whos communication user also exist in R/3. Go to System Administration -> Support -> SAP Application -> SAP Transaction -> Select any system, type any R/3 tcode and select SAP GUI for Windows. Click Go!! You should see the TCODE Output on Screen. If yes, you configurations are correct.
It worked for us, hope it works in future for someone else too.
Would like to thank Sandeep for excellent post: /message/6787312#6787312 [original link is broken] , which helped us troubleshoot to great extent.
Thanks

Thanks & Regards ManojHi Partner,
Thank you for your post.
From your description, I see that the current issue is you notice Event ID 4358 error (source: Microsoft-Windows-MSDTC) logged in Application log.
Please let me know if I misunderstand anything or you have any additional information.
Firstly, could you help clarify that what operation you are performing while the issue occur? It would be nice if you can provide a GUI error message if any.
Currently, based on the error message and my research, some incorrect register key about RPC dynamic port resulting in MSDTC behaves unexpectedly might cause such symptom.
If that is the case, let's take the following steps to check our issue.
[Note: As the operation is related to the registry key components, I suggest we backup the entries firstly before performing the steps]
1. Delete all the register keys about RPC dynamic port you inserted manually.
2. Configure the ports via UI.
3. Reboot the server.
Please let me know if there is any update. Thank you for your time.
Best Regards,
Sophia Sun

Unable to Register Iphoto/ilife )8
Hi I have purchased I-life 08 and have installed the suite of programmes but im unable to register the product - it keeps saying that my ID is incorrect. I have checked my login and it is correct but im still unable to register the product - can you help.
Cooperd:
The ID for the iLife 08 package is the product number for the item: MB015Z/A. It's not required to register it.
Do you Twango?
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've written an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 08 libraries. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file. -

Wait ... it looks like the CMC server is now running. I see someone modified the /etc/host file. They commented out the following line :
#127.0.0.1 localhost junk1 junk1.much.com
Not sure how this would help the CMC start except now when accessing the host server junk1 the IP would change from 127.0.0.1 to the public IP. Perhaps the CMC server wanted to access the public IP and not the loopback. If that is the case perhaps this error would occur if the host file was modified anytime the CMC server was up and running, then when it bounced, it would have looked up the wrong IP since the host file was changed.
Thanks. -

I know clock is wrong. CM address is correctly configured and I can ping it from the application accelerator. WCCP config (on router and on appliance) is done as well.
Do you have any tips to solve this issue?hello Mauricio,
try the following:
from the WAE not registering:
1-Make sure you configure the default gateway on the WAE
2-on the CLI enter the following commands in the same order, not all at once give it a few seconds between line and line:
-ip path-mtu-discovery enable
-no cms enable
-cms deregister force
-cms enable
3- if still the same please open a case with TAC so they can get the sysreport from the unit.

Registering the Web based application as a Partner Application
Good day
I went through the suggested documentation of registering a
web based application as a partner application of the SSO Login Server.
I installed the SSOSDK.JAR and went through the demo application (JSP Demo)
which consists of the following programs :
papp.jsp
ssoinclude.jsp
ssoEnablerJspBean
SSOEnablerBean
SSOSignon
As per the technical documentation,I register this demo application as a
partner application.
1 - The source code of the papp.jsp checks for the existence of the user
through method of ssoEnablerJspBean [getSSOUserInfo(request, response)] which
calls method of SSOEnablerBean [getSSOUserInfo (request, response) and this
method calls getUserInfo(p_request) of SSOEnablerBean (the same program) to
check the existence of the application cookie.
2 - If it doesn't exit , it redirect it to the SSO Login page for user
authentication.Once the user is authenticated, a SSO login cookie is created on
the client's browser and redirects back to the SSOSignOn.
3 - The SSOSignOn program creates the application cookie and redirects back to
the entry point of the demo application which is papp.jsp.
My Questions are as follows :
1 - Instead of creating a session object within my web based application to hold some
information used between the different pages, can I define them in the
application cookie? kindly advise? Is there any limitation for the length of
the application cookie? If yes, what will be the risk?
2 - The SSOSignOn program is calling a method in the SSOEnablerBean
[setPartnerAppCookie(response, request). Within this method , it is retrieving
the parameters values of the request object as :
request.getParameterValues("urlc")[0];
What is the role of this [urlc]? Is it hard coded? Can I change it?
3 - In order to ensure that I am still dealing with the same user, shall I put
the above security check procedure on each page of my weeb based application? Kindly advise?
Thanks in advance for your prompt feedback
regardsDear Paul
I think there is a misunderstanding regarding the last correspondence.
I am talking about the customized home page of the PORTAL and not the home page of my web based application (JSP) .So in this case, Am I able to use the customized home page which contains a login portlet instead of the default Login page of the SSO Login Server.Kindly advise!!!
On the other hand, I am facing a problem during the surfing of the web based application.
The web based application consists mainly of two packages :
Package I : Bank.counter which contains a set of jsp pages.
JSP_HOME_COUNTER (MAIN PAGE WHICH CONTAINS 2 FRAMES)
JSP_LEFT_FRAME_COUNTER
JSP_MAIN_FRAME_COUNTER
JSP_MAIN_FRAME_COUNTER_DETAIL
Package II : Bank.portfolio which contains a set of jsp pages.
JSP_HOME_PORTFOLIO (MAIN PAGE WHICH CONTAINS 2 FRAMES)
JSP_LEFT_FRAME_PORTFOLIO
JSP_MAIN_FRAME_PORTFOLIO
Please note that the SSO classes are residing under the first package.
As agreed on in the third question, I am including in each page of my web based application, a security check procedure as follows :
<%@ include file="ssoinclude.jsp" %>
<%
if(usrInfo == null)
response.getWriter().println("<center>User information not found</center>");
else
my jsp code.......
%>
Please note that all the jsp page of the portfolio package are pointing to the SSO classes as follows :
<%@ include file="../counter/ssoinclude.jsp" %>
<%
if(usrInfo == null)
response.getWriter().println("<center>User information not found</center>");
else
my jsp code.......
%>
Once I invoke the JSP_HOME_COUNTER , it will render the JSP_LEFT_FRAME_COUNTER page and
JSP_MAIN_FRAME_COUNTER page which invokes the SSO Login page. Once the user has been authenticate, the result of the JSP_MAIN_FRAME_COUNTER is rendered successfully. The result contains an hyperlink to the
JSP_MAIN_FRAME_COUNTER_DETAIL page. As the user has been authenticated , this page is rendering automatically the result without displaying the SSO Login page. (Perfect as of now!!).
Once I invoke the JSP_HOME_PORTFOLIO from the JSP_HOME_COUNTER, it runs the security procedure without any rendering of the SSO Login page (fine!!) but redirects me back to JSP_HOME_COUNTER instead of rendering the result of the JSP_HOME_PORTFOLIO.
please note that the m_requestUrl variable in the SSOEnablerJSPBean class has been assigned the folowing value : JSP_HOME_COUNTER

First issue: I have for the second time installed Acrobat xi pro and then click on "check for updates" from the help menu. And it shows that an update is available. But when I update it I am given the following error message:
Error 1328. Error applying patch to file C:\Config.Msi\PT669B.tmp. It has probably been updated by other means, and can no longer be modified by this patch. For more information contact your patch vendor."
When I click on "details" I am sent to adobe's "update error" page. Which states the following for error 1328: Error applying patch to [filename]. It's likely that something else updated the file, and the patch can't modify it. For more information, contact your patch vendor.
I have tried uninstalling program and re-installing program but still get same error message from my attempt at updating. So I am not sure if program is update or not. And I do not know who my "patch vendor" is.
Second issue: Unable to register product with Adobe. Because the option to do so from the "help" menu which lists "product registration" is greyed/dimmed out. Therefore not giving me the ability to register this product. Please let me know what is causing this problem.I am not sure, but will suggest some things to try. On the activate issue, it may be that your system already thinks it is activated and so you might try the deactivate and check. If that works, I would suggest you then uninstall, run http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html, remove anything left of the Acrobat folder, reboot, and reinstall. Hopefully you can open Acrobat and activate. Then do the updates from the Help menu.

Edited by: user5108636 on 26/07/2010 00:19I is till throwing error after changing <wsdl:service name="AVCadDataFeed">Because still there are problems in WSDL. Error description gives the detail -
Deployment Failed: Unable to find a WSDL that has a definition for service {http://oracle.com/sca/soapservice/ORTDWS/ProcessData/AVCadDataFeed}AVCadDataFeed and port livefeed_pt.
Make sure that port attribute has right value.
Also, what should be the value of the <soap:address location attribute in the service elementFrom Web Services Description Language (WSDL) 1.1 specification (http://www.w3.org/TR/wsdl#_soap:address) -
The SOAP address binding is used to give a port an address (a URI). A port using the SOAP binding MUST specify exactly one address. The URI scheme specified for the address must correspond to the transport specified by the soap:binding.
