Unable to serialize XMLElement using SOAP?

I'm using oracle AS 10.1.3.0 release. I'm trying to set up a webservice that will accept an Element (which I've done in prior releases no problem). When I attempt to call the webservice I get the following error:
Caused by: java.lang.IllegalStateException: ComplianceImpl.printTags: Failed result = [SOAPException: faultCode=SOAP-ENV:Client; msg=No Serializer found to serialize a 'oracle.xml.parser.v2.XMLElement' using encoding style 'http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/'.; targetException=java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: No Serializer found to serialize a 'oracle.xml.parser.v2.XMLElement' using encoding style 'http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/'.]
Now I'm unsure what I'm doing wrong unless Element support has been deprecated as we move towards JaxRPC. Here is my interface call and wsdl:
public Element printTags(Element elem) throws Exception;
<message name="printTagsOutput">
<part name="return" element="xsd:any"/>
</message>
<message name="printTagsInput">
<part name="param0" element="xsd:any"/>
</message>
<operation name="printTags">
<input message="tns:printTagsInput"/>
<output message="tns:printTagsOutput"/>
</operation>
<binding name="EventIntfBinding" type="tns:EventIntfPortType">
<soap:binding transport="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/http" style="rpc"/>
<operation name="printTags">
<soap:operation soapAction="urn:oracle-edge-web-ws-EventIntf/printTags"/>
<input>
<soap:body use="literal" namespace="urn:oracle-edge-web-ws-EventIntf"/>
</input>
<output>
<soap:body use="literal" namespace="urn:oracle-edge-web-ws-EventIntf"/>
</output>
</operation>
</binding>
Anybody have any ideas regarding this?

  • Unable to Serialize ReportClientDocument using "StateServer" session mode

    Hello,
    In my ASP.NET application, I am using "StateServer" session state mode for maintaining session variables. The problem however is that this mode requires all the objects inside the session variables to be serialized and for some reason ReportClientDocument doesn't seem to be serializable.
    Here is the code that's not working:
    ceSession = Session.Item("ceSession")
    ceEnterpriseService = ceSession.GetService("", "InfoStore")
    ceInfoStore = New InfoStore(ceEnterpriseService)
    rptAppFactory = ceInfoStore.EnterpriseSession.Interface.Service("", "RASReportFactory")
    rptClientDoc = rptAppFactory.OpenDocument(rptId, CdReportClientDocumentOpenOptionsEnum.cdReportClientDocumentOpenAsReadOnly)
    Session.Add(rptClientDoc)
    At the end of the request it throws an exception
    "Unable to serialize the session state. In 'StateServer' and 'SQLServer' mode, ASP.NET will serialize the session state objects, and as a result non-serializable objects or MarshalByRef objects are not permitted. The same restriction applies if similar serialization is done by the custom session state store in 'Custom' mode."
    [SerializationException: Type 'CrystalDecisions.ReportAppServer.ClientDoc.ReportClientDocumentClass' in Assembly 'CrystalDecisions.ReportAppServer.ClientDoc, Version=12.0.1100.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=692fbea5521e1304' is not marked as serializable.]
    Is anybody having any idea on how to successfully store ReportClientDocument in the session variable by using "StateServer" session state mode?
    Thanks

  • How to post data to Oracle B2B's httpReceiver using SOAP UI

    Hi All,
    I have successfully tested an inbound EDI X12 810 transaction by creating document version, type, definition. I have used an inbound file channel in this case to
    pick the file and the sender trading partner is dentified from the ISA and GS values as I have configured EDI Interchange ID and EDI Group ID at Remote trading
    partner profile level. This configuration is successfully working fine.
    Now my intention is to replace the inbound file channel with httpReceiver i.e. I just want to post 810 document to B2B's httpReceiver using SOAP UI instead of
    using inbound file channel. For this I have mentioned Generic Identifier as Acme under the profile tab of Remote trading partner (Note that Acme is my remote
    trading partner). And I am posting data to httpReceiver using SOAP UI by setting sender as Acme in the SOAP UI headers. But in the B2B reports, the transaction
    is erroring out as it is unable to identify sender, doc type and agreement.
    Please let me know is this the correct way of populating headers from SOAP UI? Is Sender only sufficient in the headers or any others required? Do I need to pass
    IP address also as header? If so, is it my machine IP address? Is that should be static IP compulsorily?

    Found an answer - hope this is what the first person was looking for.
    You can embedded the Apex code within HTML with the following key steps:
    1. Java scripts need to reference the correct URL paths. For example on apex.oracle.com they would be
    <script src="http://apex.oracle.com/i/javascript/htmldb_html_elements.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
    <script src="http://apex.oracle.com/i/javascript/htmldb_get.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
    2. The <form...> tag needs to have the DAD URL in it. Such as:
    <form action="http://apex.oracle.com/pls/otn/wwv_flow.accept" method="post" name="wwv_flow" id="wwvFlowForm" >
    Any other references need to point to the right URLs.
    Finally, the action that will occur after submission is defined by the Apex Form, so you will need to set the appropriate Branch action in the application, such as going back to the same URL currently on, etc.

  • Unsing RequestOneWayBean with Do Not Use SOAP Envelope

    HI All ,
    I have a requriement where Ecc is calling PI with an Asyn Proxy and PI calls a Sync Webservice and gets the Response back and sends the response back to ECC in Async manner . (Async - Sync Bridge).
    I need to call aWeb Service which required specifc SOAP  Headers . SO I have  created a Custom Structure via XSLT mapping and calling the Web Service with the Option  Do Not Use SOAP Envelope as checked . I have also used the RequestResponse Bean & ResponseOneWay Bean in the SOAP Receiver adapter to make the call from Sync to Asyn.  When I execute the Interface the response from the Web Service is  not flowing into PI .
    I am getting the error "Exception caught by adapter framework: InterfaceDetermination did not yield any actual interface" .
    Has anyone worked on the ResponseOneway Bean with parameter "Do Not Use SOAP Envelope as checked" . Can some one please help me out with this issue..
    Thanks
    Regards
    NIlesh Taunk.

    HI Eng ,
    I have not been able to accept the SOAP Fault Response. The link that you have provided above works for accepting the SOAP Fault . But in my case the SOAP Receiver Adapter has the Option "DO NOT Use SOAP Envelope " checked . So it is still not working in my case .
    I have made all the Configurations in the Receiver SOAP adapter but am unable to get the fault response back .
    Please find below the Screenshot of the Receiver SOAP Adapter.
    Im my case I am able to receive the successfull response in my Response Mappping (I have created a diff ICO for Response Message and a diff ICO for Fault Message). When a fault is received even the Fault message goes to the response mapping and it fails in the response mapping as the fault structure & the response structure do not match .
    Do we need to make some additional configuration  for the handing  faults, whn the option "DO NOT use SOAP envlope is checked" as it removed the Env from the messgaes.
    Am I missing something, would you be able to have a look.
    Thanks
    Regards

  • For using SOAP at receiver side

    Hi We have XI Sp19,  we are using SOAP adpater with  transport  protocal is Http and message protocal as SOAP 1.1.
    We are using  https  URL.   As  we are using  first time SOAP on the system.
    Here every thing is  fine we  are unable to send the doc to vendor side
    Please let me know what extra  configuration I need to do  for usiong SOAP  with https.   TIA
    Ram Singhal

    Ram,
    check SAP Note 856597  Question 5.
    I get the SSL handshaking error. I get some error when I call my SSL web service.
               A: First, please make sure that the SSL server is working correctly with another client. If the server is working and you still have the problem, the most likely cause is that your J2EE engine is not configured appropriately to be able to use the unrestricted strong features of the cryptographic library. Please make sure that:
               - The JDK java security lib directory ($JAVAHOME/jre/lib/security) contains the unrestricted strong version of local_policy.jar and US_export_policy.jar, which are about 5KB and not the restricted version that are about 3KB each. If you have the restricted version, please refer to http://java.sun.com/ to obtain the unrestricted version.
               - The full version of IAIK is available in the J2EE engine's Security Provider. To check this, go to Service -> Security Provider -> Cryptography Providers, and select IAIK. The Provider Information field should show the full version (e.g., IAIK Security Provider v3.12) and not the evaludation version (e.g., IAIK Security Provider v3.01, evaluation version). If you have the evaludation version, please refer to the security setting section of the SAP J2EE documentation.

  • PHP using soap to call EJB

    Hello everybody,
    I've a problem to call a EJB form a PHP script.
    There is a Apache with PHP 5.2.0 and a SAP NetWeaver Application Server 7.10 / AS Java 7.10 running on the system.
    I wanted to use soap to call a method in an EJB. It's only a test EJB:
    [code]
    package beans;
    import javax.ejb.Stateless;
    import javax.jws.WebService;
    import javax.jws.WebMethod;
    @WebService(name="HelloWorldEARBean",serviceName="HelloWorldEARBeanService",targetNamespace="http://beans/",portName="HelloWorldEARBeanPort") @Stateless public class HelloWorldEARBean {
      @WebMethod public String sayHello(String testStr){
                return "Hello Mr. "+testStr;
      @WebMethod public String getReturn(String inputStr){
                return "the return value is"+inputStr;
    [/code]
    I tried it with the PEAR SOAP in the following script:
    [code]
    <?php
    require_once 'SOAP/Client.php';
    $wsdl_url     = 'http://localhost:50000/HelloWorldEARBeanService/HelloWorldEARBean?wsdl';
    $WSDL = new SOAP_WSDL($wsdl_url);
    $client = $WSDL->getProxy();
    $client->__trace(1);
    $options=array('namespace' => 'http://beans/',
      'style' => 'rpc',
      'soapaction' => 'sayHello');
    $NAME = "Bob";
    $parameters=array(
         'parameters', $NAME
    $result = $client->getReturn($parameters);
    echo "<pre>";
    print_r($params);
    echo "</pre>";
    echo "<h2>return</h2>";
    echo "<pre>";
    print_r($result);
    echo "</pre>";
    echo '<h2>Request</h2>';
    echo '<pre>' . htmlspecialchars($client->__getlastrequest(), ENT_QUOTES) . '</pre>';
    echo '<h2>Response</h2>';
    echo '<pre>' . htmlspecialchars($client->__getlastresponse(), ENT_QUOTES). '</pre>';
    ?>
    [/code]

    I used different soap interfaces for PHP like nusoap and the integrated soap interface of PHP 5.
    Further I experimented with different parameters inside the function call
    that results in small differencies at the xml-request.
    Thanks.

    Hi
    I've solved the problem now. I just have to add
    @SOAPBinding(style=SOAPBinding.Style.RPC)
    in the EJB, that's all.
    Here is the complete code, ... maybe some other guys have this problem too, so I will post the working code:
    At first the EJB:
    package beans;
    import javax.ejb.Stateless;
    import javax.jws.WebParam;
    import javax.jws.WebService;
    import javax.jws.WebMethod;
    import javax.jws.soap.SOAPBinding;
    import beans.HelloWorldEARBean;
    @WebService(name="HelloWorldEARBean",serviceName="HelloWorldEARBeanService",targetNamespace="http://beans/",portName="HelloWorldEARBeanPort")
    @SOAPBinding(style=SOAPBinding.Style.RPC)
    @Stateless public class HelloWorldEARBean {
         @WebMethod public String sayHello(@WebParam(name="testStr") String testStr){
                return "Hello Mr. "+testStr;
    2. the local XML:

  • Need Help: Not able to invoke fusion crm webservice using SOAP UI

    Hi,
    I am trying to invoke fusion crm webservice by using SOAP UI, but I am getting Invalid seccurity tocken exception.
    I have followed below steps specified in the oracle support document.
    In Soap UI, Go to File>Preferences ,select the "HTTP Settings' tab on the lower left panel, then select the checkbox 'Authenticate Preemtively'.
    2. From the wsdl extract the content from above wsdl between the tag/elements <dsig:X509Certificate> and </dsig:X509Certificate>
    3. Create a file called certificate.cer ( in local Drive) with above encrypted data enclosed between -----BEGIN CERTIFICATE-----   and -----END CERTIFICATE-----, file content shown below ( note: encrypted data
        for example
        -----BEGIN CERTIFICATE-----
    MIICCzCCAXSgAwIBAgIETy
        -----END CERTIFICATE-----
    4. Identifiy the java.home of SOAP UI , navigation (Help – System Properties) ,example ( it may be something like D:\SOAP UI download\soapui-4.5.1\jre)
    5.  Find the location of cacert file in SOAP UI ( example D:\SOAP UI download\soapui-4.5.1\jre\lib\security\cacert)
    6. Use following keytool command to add the certificate file certificate.cer into keystore cacert , sample command given below for reference
       keytool -importcert -alias rcpt-key-alias -file "D:\certificate.cer" -keystore "D:\SOAP UI download\soapui-4.5.1\jre\lib\security\cacerts"
       at command prompt when prompted enter password as changeit
    7. Restart SOAP UI and create a new project with https version of WSDL of organizationService
    8. In SOAP UI ,  in Auth tab , provide the user name and password.
    9. Invoke the Webservice
    I have used following request XML in SOAP UI
    <soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:typ="http://xmlns.oracle.com/apps/sales/opptyMgmt/opportunities/opportunityService/types/" xmlns:opp="http://xmlns.oracle.com/apps/sales/opptyMgmt/opportunities/opportunityService/" xmlns:rev="http://xmlns.oracle.com/apps/sales/opptyMgmt/revenues/revenueService/" xmlns:not="http://xmlns.oracle.com/apps/crmCommon/notes/noteService" xmlns:not1="http://xmlns.oracle.com/apps/crmCommon/notes/flex/noteDff/" xmlns:rev1="http://xmlns.oracle.com/oracle/apps/sales/opptyMgmt/revenues/revenueService/" xmlns:act="http://xmlns.oracle.com/apps/crmCommon/activities/activitiesService/" xmlns:wsse="http://docs.oasis-open.org/wss/2004/01/oasis-200401-wss-wssecurity-secext-1.0.xsd" xmlns:soap="soap" xmlns:ns1="http://xmlns.oracle.com/apps/fnd/soaprovider/plsql/fnd_user_pkg/">

    This example works fine for our Fusion Applications Cloud test instance, without any SSL setup or setting credentials on the request properties as the target service supports policy without message protection.
    Based on the your steps your service has message protection policy, so the above will not work rather you need to do additional configuration. Please check the policy on your service to confirm how the call needs to be made. Here are few links and documents:
    "How to invoke Fusion Application TCA webservice from SOAP UI (Doc ID 1496071.1)"  documents how a service with message protection can be called from SOAP UI. Your steps seem identical so presumably they are based on this document.
    "Oracle Fusion Sales Cloud Web Services (Doc ID 1354841.1)" contains information about the CRM web services including examples on the certificate import and sample payloads.
    Please provide:
    The security policies defined on the service (check the wsdl)
    The exact error message the you get

  • SAP MII 14.0 - Calling Transactions using SOAP Runner fails

    Hello All,
    We are calling transactions in SAP MII 14.0 from external apps using SOAP Runner and we are passing the login info in the payload. But we are getting the following error.
    We are passing the following in the payload.
    <xmii:LoginName>Username</xmii:LoginName>
    <xmii:LoginPassword>Password</xmii:LoginPassword>
    We are getting 401 unauthorized as the user name and password is not propagated to the MII.
    It works if we supply the info explicitly when we invoke the URL.
    Thanks,
    Kiran

    Hello Rajesh,
    I don't think that will be allowed. We usually pass the credentials in the payload and it has always worked for us in MII 12.1. But in MII 14.0 it does not seem to be working.
    Thanks,
    Kiran

  • Unable to edit document using "Edit with Word" option

    Hi All,
    i am having an issue with Office web apps. i am using SharePoint 2013 and Office web apps 2013. all the configurations have been done successfully. but i have a different kind of issue.
    i am able to open documents in browser
    i am able to edit document using " edit with word/excel web" option
    but i am unable to edit document using "edit with word/excel" option
    i have Office 2010 installed on my local machine.
    do we need to have MS office of 2013 version? or is there anything missing from configuration part.
    Please help me.
    Thank You,
    Bhaskar.

    Hi,
    According to your post, my understanding is that you could not use the "edit with word/excel" option.
    I had tested the issue with the Office 2010, the option worked well.
    You don’t need to install the Office 2013 to use this option.
    What did you mean “but i am unable to edit document using "edit with word/excel" option
    Did you mean the option gray out? Did the issue occur in other browsers?
    You can use compatibility mode to check whether it works.
    Open IE->Tools->Compatibility View Settings
    You can also add the site into Trusted sites.
    Open the IE->Internet Options->Security->Sites->add the site into the Websites, then check whether it works.
    What's more, you can also use other browsers to check whether it works, such as Firefox, Chrome.
    Thanks & Regards,

    Yes, it failed during insert using AL2.0.1.
    So the above statement produces the following error message:
    The symbol "" was ignored.
    ORA-06550: line 2, column 74:

    <an identifier> <a double-quoted delimited-idThis suggests to me that an unprintable character (notice how there is nothing between the double quotes - "") has worked its way into your PL/SQL Handler. Note how the error is reported to be a column 74 on line 2, yet line 2 of the above block should only have 58 characters, so at a pure guess somehow there's extra whitespace on line 2, that is confusing the PL/SQL compiler, I suggest re-typing the PL/SQL handler manually and seeing if that cures the problem.

  • Unable to open windows using boot camp.  Get message "The bless tool was unable to set the current boot disk."  Any thoughts, Thank you.

    Unable to open windows using boot camp.  Get message "The bless tool was unable to set the current boot disk."   I am using an Imac , Lion operating system, and Windows 7.  It worked a few days ago.  Any thoughts, Thank you.

    Note that nowhere in the Boot Camp instructions does it tell you to use Disk Utility to format the Windows partition. The Boot Camp Assistant program creates the partition & sets the +partition scheme info+ of the disk as appropriate for the Windows installer but the Windows installer itself is responsible for formatting the new partition with the appropriate +file system scheme+ (NTFS for Windows 7).
    If you follow the instructions in the Boot Camp Installation & Setup Guide to the letter you should have no problems installing Windows.

  • How to use SOAP, how do i create the WSDL?

    Hi
    Im have a website that accepts SOAP messages, and all I was trying to do was to POST a canned SOAP message that i copied from using soapUI, which is an awesome tool,  but using c#
    one of the first problems is the page of SOAP data.  what i CANNOT do is create a new string then paste the SOAP page within quotes and end with a semicolon;  instantly it gets hundreds of errors.  the SOAP page has quotes and slashes and
    chars that mess up the string literal.  even trying the @ symbol?  does not help.  @"  bunch of string characters  ";  no.
    i can create a new item, an html page.  paste that soap info? save it, no problem.  did the same, new text item/page.
    in the project i can say    string s = HTMLPage1.ToString():  no, HTMLPage1 is unknown.  its in the project but cannot be seen,
    Another idea besides just trying to send it by force was to use SOAP methods.  i need this to work fast, just a big learning curve for SOAP.  what i did notice in some example was that if i have a WSDL then i can individually address the member
    variables, set them, then somehow form the SOAP message.  this would be great, but how?   I have the page of SOAP data i want to send, and i should be able to find some definition for it that has the xs: and xsl? tags in there.
    i will have maybe 2 different SOAP messages to send out, and need to hear back what the result is.  thanks in advance for any suggestions!

  • How to get metadata option list values derived from a table/view using SOAP

    I am writing an ASP.NET application that replicates some of the features of the SCS search interface. I have looked at the GET_DOC_METADATA_INFO service and its SOAP output. It has a few missing pieces of information, like the option list values for a field if that fields values are derived from a separate table/view. Some of the fields I am dealing with also make use of Dynamic Control Lists (DCL). Is there a way to get the DCL info using SOAP? I did notice that the dOptionListKey element contains the name of the view from which the option list values will be derived. However, I cannot find a service that takes the view name as a parameter to return the option list values. I have looked in the services reference manual, but I have not had any luck finding what I am looking for.
    TIA

    Hello,
    What error you are getting? You code seems to be ok. I have tested below code and working fine
    XPathNavigator rTable = MainDataSource.CreateNavigator();
    String ddlSectionSelectedValue = Convert.ToString(rTable.SelectSingleNode("/my:myFields/my:ddlSection", NamespaceManager).Value);
    One think you can check that keep dropdown value display name and id same.
