UnDeployment Error (.ear files)

Hi All,
I was deploying some .ear files through SDM in the Production server. I got the error, mentioned below, while undeployment of the old .ear files.
Can you suggest me some ideas regarding this issue.

Hi Jay,
Thanks for your answer. I was afraid to implement the change. Now am able to deploy ear after restarting managed servers.
Now am facing another issue while starting managed servers.
The error is given below
<Aug 5, 2010 2:43:53 PM EDT> <Critical> <WebLogicServer> <BEA-000386> <Server subsystem failed. Reason: weblogic.security.SecurityInitializationException: Authentication for user denied
weblogic.security.SecurityInitializationException: Authentication for user denied

     at weblogic.security.service.CommonSecurityServiceManagerDelegateImpl.initialize(Unknown Source)

     at weblogic.t3.srvr.SubsystemRequest.run(SubsystemRequest.java:64)
Truncated. see log file for complete stacktrace
Please let me know from where this error comes. The weblogic server is running in devleopment mode only. So not sure where the authentication failed. Also is there any problem with the configuration done??? I need to know the root cause so as to avoid in future. Also I cannot reboot the servers as and when desired (to solve the issue). Please help
Thanks,
Charan

  • Error Undeploying a EAR File Containing Resource Adapter

    Hi,
I am trying to undeploy a ear file that contains a
    1) one inbound R.A(resource adapter),
    2) one outbound R.A and
    3) few EJBs.
The undeploy command "java -jar admin.jar undelpoy..." executes without any error, however the thread process started by the inbound adapter keep running even after undeployment.
Is there a way to cleanly undeploy a resource adapter (that would delete all the threads created by resource adapter) that's part of a ear file?
Note: The inbound adapter's deregisterEndpoint method does include the code to call the destroy method on the thread it created.
    Thanks,

    hello,
have you tried including the 3rd party jar in your EAR file itself?
i use a number of external jars in my web app and ejb, including some xml parsing classes. what i did was to put them all in the EAR, at the root level, in other words, not in a sub-directory. then in my WAR's meta-inf/MANIFEST.MF file reference them in the Class-path. do simililar thing for the ejbs if necessary.
when you tried to use the inqxml instead, did you make a reference in manager/referecen.txt from your app to the inqmy library? if so, did you look into the inqmyxml.jar to see if the Node class is actually there?

  • Undeployment of ear-file, "domain ... not registered" message in log

    Hello,
We're developping a Java Web Application for SAP NetWeaver Web AS.
It consists of an ear-file, which contains a webmodule (war-file).
NetWeaver writes some error log messages in it's log file (defaultTrace.0.trc) when the software is undeployed from Web AS.
    That should not happen.
    The message looks like
[permissions_collection_operator]: domain [apps//CN.com/CN Server/servlet_jsp/cn-server/root/WEB-INF/lib/log4j12.jar] not removed, because is not registered
CN.com is the company name, cn-server the context-path.
It seems, that Web AS logs this error for every jar file it finds in web-inf/lib and some additional things.
How to avoid this message? How can the domain (or jar-file) be registered or what's needed?
Surely some simple entries must be included in the ear-file... application.xml...
    application-j2ee-engine.xml...
... in any of those files. But where?
Where can one obtain detail information about the log entries

    Nobody an idea?
It must be possible to avoid those stupid log messages.
What is needed for deploying a jar-file inside an ear-file into the famous WEB-INF/lib - directory?
    Any special steps necessary?

  • Undeployment ear-file, error messag in log

    Hello,
we have an error message in the netweaver log while undeploying an ear-file.
    (default.trace)
    Date , Time , Message , Severity , Category , Location , Application , User
    06/11/2007 , 8:36:49:281 ,  [permissions_collection_operator]: domain[CN.com/CN Connector] not removed, because is not registered , Error , /System/Security , com.sap.engine.services.security ,  , admin
This message is shown for a lot of files and some directories under the famous WEB-INF directory of the web application.
    It should be avoided
Besides in the security log, there's additional info, in this case for a jar file.
    ... [permissions_collection_operator]: domain not removed[apps//CN.com/CN Connector/servlet_jsp/corisecio-connector/root/WEB-INF/lib/log4j-1.2.14.jar] - missing mapping !!!!!!!!! , Info , /System/Security , com.sap.engine.services.security ,  , admin
Anybody knows how to avoid that?

I think, if you remove the corresponding entries in trbat and trjob files will solve the problem.
This is the last option that we need to check.

  • Getting error while deploying EAR file???

    Hi Everyone,
    My Jdev version is 11.1.2.3.0.
I have developed one ADF application and successfully deployed into stand alone web logic server from Jdeveloper itself(By creating application server in Jdeveloper and deployed directly from Jdeveloper).
But when i undeployed the application from server and tried to deploy from server itself from the same EAR file its showing below error after clicking on Activate changes:
Message icon - Error An error occurred during activation of changes, please see the log for details.
    Message icon - Error weblogic.application.ModuleException:
Message icon - Error java.security.PrivilegedActionException: weblogic.common.ResourceException: java.security.PrivilegedActionException: weblogic.common.ResourceException: No credential mapper entry found for password indirection user=ABC for data source XYZ"
Any suggestions will be really useful.
    Thanks.

Looks like you are not using jdbc datasource but jdbc url. You should use jdbc data source as the connection type. right click on your application module and select 'Configurations...' then edit the configurations and select 'jdbc datasource' from the list box.
Then you should edit the applications deployment descriptor (you find this in the application properties) and remove the check mark from the 'Auto generate and synchronize ...'. This means that you have to define the data source on the stand alone server as jdev now does not do this your you (with the wrong credentials). This is the way to go when you deploy to a stand alone server as you can't guarantee that the connection information is allways the same for all servers you deploy to (e.g. production uses a different DB).

  • J2EE cluster error while deploying "EAR" file from SDM tool

    Hi all,
I am new to CRM ISA development side. I am learning how to build b2c ear file base on b2c.ear and then how to deploy through SDM. Everything is working fine till build tool. Successfully build my own b2c_ashish.ear file. then I started SDM GUI and try to deploy it. In SAP MMC all process are running. J2EE engine is also running fine. I have describe below which step I took.
PL. go through it an let me know about my mistake.
I am just pasting that portion of error which I am getting when I am accessing "/b2c_kce/b2c/init.do"
    ===================
    A runtime error occurred
    Contact the administrator
    Start application
    ==================
do you have any idea in which log file it writes error so I can open that file and . I tried to access log file from "Admin" page.
If I am trying to access "/b2c_kce/admin/index.jsp" I am able to access those pages without problem only "/b2c_kce/b2c/init.do" I am getting problem like above "run time error Occured"
When I click on "Start Application" it is opening new window and showing same text.
I checked SAP MMC. it is showing all node Green "dgntisa", "dgntisa1" and "dgntisa0" Also All process like under "dgntisa0" process "jcontrol.exe" and "igswd.exe "  are green.
I build "b2c_ashish" new by using build tool. It was also successful.
I start SDM server by "StartServer.bat" and after that I start SDM remote GUI.
I select "Deployment" tab and add "crm.b2c_ashish" for deployment then I click on Start button and I got below error for "J2EE Cluster" that "SDM could not start J2EE cluster on the host dgntisa"
Pl. if you have any idea then pl. let me know how to solve this error.

Above error start ater restarting "WAS" server. Now You can not deploy or undeploy any SDA or SCA component.
I follow above mentioned steps 2 time after restarting "WAS" server. but it seems that one service for J2EE cluster is not started.  I also chekced the running mode of SDM and SAP J2EE version. SDM Runing mode is "integrated" and SAP J2EE version is " 6.30" While using a build file it is showing J2EE engin version.

    Hi,
    1. Restart the upgrade
    2. When it shows the error above open callSdmViaSapinst.log and search for the application that can't be deployed
    3. If application is STOPPED start it
    4. Undeploy the application if it is STARTED
    5. Press the "Retry" button in the error message dialog box from the
    upgrade
    6. If it fails again for another application go to 2.
Please refer SAP NOte 851590. I don't know if it work for u, as i have given this , it seems for Upgrade as you are developing.
    Look into this thread also

    Hi Chandra,
One of the reason for this problem could be that
your LDAP server has got corrupted. To verify that
if possible, try to deploy this in any other
instance of application server pointing to a
    different LDAP.
Another reason could be, problem with your
build.xml file. Did you build this myapp.ear
from scratch or did you use the build.xml from
    one of our sample application?
If you have used one of our sample application
build.xml, there is a high possibility that
you might not have changed the name of your
application in one of the entries.
    Thank you

  • Error while deploying ear-file to J2EE via NWDS/SDM

    Hi everybody,
i have a problem deploying an ear-file. I was looking for similar cases in forums, but didn't find anything. My application is developed by jsp/servlets. The deployment aborts with following error-massage:
Caught exception during application deployment from SAP J2EE Engine's deploy API:
com.sap.engine.deploy.manager.DeployManagerException: com.sap.engine.services.deploy.container.DeploymentException: Cannot update archive file Docsndownloads.warcom.sap.engine.services.deploy.ear.exceptions.BaseIOException: Error during replacement of substitution values. Reason: java.io.IOException: Stream closed
I don't know what the reason could be. The application is running on tomcat. And I can deploy other applications to j2ee with nwds/sdm.
Maybe somebody had or has the same problem. Or somebody knows the answer for the problem. Please help, points will be regarded. Thanks in advance.
    best regards
    Lu

    Hi,
The name of the data-source should match with the value of 'Location' in data-sources.xml
    ex: "jdbc/OracleDS"
Can you give more details of your problem like how you are deploying?

  • Error while deploying ear file generated from weblogic to ocj4

    Hi All,
I have an .ear file which has been generated from weblogic server.I tried to deploy it on ocj4 aby created a new project in eclipse and deploying it on ocj4.
When I try to run my project it gives me an error:

The original class instance was defined in the shared-library oracle.ws.jaxrpc:1.1, and oc4j:10.1.3 does import that loader. This may be a search-order problem.
