Uniqueness Constrain violation:exception"BusinessProcess.proxy.SercieError"

HI ,
While creating the web servise proxy by using of WSDL doc URL
http://soa6.com:8888/integration/services/IdentityService/configuration?WSDL
( of PortName ' IdentityConfigServicePort') . I am getting the exception like
uniqueness Constraint violation : exception "BusinessProcess.proxy.SercieErrorType" already found.
Please help me how to resolve this issue.
Thanks in advance, ....

Hi Calvin,
You may want to try the 'no data binding' option on the proxy generation. This may enable you to go ahead, with a proxy that is not trying to generate Java code.
Yo can also try to make a local copy of your WSDL and remove the duplicate type declaration. Using the analyze command from WSA CLI is a quick way to do this itterative testing, as it will not generate the code. Once you have the analyze command going thourg the WSDL, you can go back to using genProxy.
You can find the documnetation here:

Hope it helps,

  • Unique Key Violation While Doing Multiple Updates And Create in EJB

    Hello All,
    I am using oracle 9i and Weblogic 7.0. I have a table that has a unique key constraint on one column , say 'Col1' and i am using a CMP to read,create and update data in this table. The problem description is as follows.
    I have JTable that display the data from the above said table. The user can modify the existing data and insert new data that will be reflected in the DB using the CMP. Let us say the following are displayed
    ROW1
    Col1 : 3
    Col2 : 'ABC'
    Col3 : 1 (Primary key in the table)
    Now the user modifies the above row and inserts a new record. Now the following will be the display
    ROW1 (Modified)
    Col1 : 4
    Col2 : 'ABC'
    Col3 : 1 (Primary key in the table)
    ROW2 (New)
    Col1 : 3
    Col2 : 'DEF'
    Col3 : 2 (Primary key in the table)
    When the above data is saved i do the following in the Code
    a) Session Bean
    For (all the data in the Jtable)
    try
    home.findByPrimaryKey(Col3);
    remote.update(Col1,Col2);
    catch(FinderException fe)
    home.create(Col1,Col2,Col3);
    When the above code is run During the first loop the update runs succesfully (i.e update old value of 3 with 4 ) but during the 2nd loop the create (i.e Insert new value 3) gives me the unique key violated exception. The following is the stack trace

    Please help me with this, as far as i am concerned since both update and create is in the same transaction the update on the row must be visible to the create and hence there shouild not be any problem.....
    thanks in advance

    Hi,
    Thanks,
    There are 3 columns involved with that table . Out of whihc one is a Primary Key (string) , The other column (Number) has a unique key constraint defined on it and the last column stores a value corresponding to the 2nd column.
    The reason for me to do a create in the Finder exception is as follows.
    I Loop through the Data present in JTable. As given in the example let us assume that there are 2 rows in the JTable. Out of whihc the First row needs an updation and the second row , which is a new row needs to be created. So During the First iteration of the loop, The findermethod does not throw any exception (Because it is a modfied row) and hence the update gets fired successfully. During the second iteration , since it is a new row the findermethod will throw a finder exception and hence create will get fired.
    I understand that this is not a good coding style but then it is not 100% wrong and i need to find out as to why it is not working.
    Hope am clear in explaining my problem
    Thanks
    Shanki

  • Primary key violation exception in auto increment column

    Hi All,
    I am facing one issue in Multi threaded environment.
    I am getting Primary key violation exception in auto increment column. I have a table and the primary key is the auto increment column, and I have a trigger which is populating this column.
    5 threads are running and inserting the data in the table and throwing Primary key violation exception randomly.
    create table example (
    id number not null,
    name varchar2(30)
    alter table example
    add constraint PK1example primary key (id);
    create sequence example_id_seq start with 1 increment by 1;
    create or replace trigger example_insert
    before insert on example
    for each row
    begin
    select example_id_seq.nextval into :new.id from dual;
    end;
    Any idea how to handle auto increment column(trigger) in Multi threaded environment??
    Thanks,

    user13566109 wrote:
    Thanks All,
    Problem was in approach; removed the trigger and placed a seq.nextval in insert query. It has resolved the issue.I very much suspect that that was not the issue.
    The trigger would execute for each insertion and the nextval would have been unique for each insertion (that's how sequences work in oracle), so that wouldn't have been causing duplicates.
    I suspect, more likely, that you had some other code somewhere that was using another sequence or some other method of generating the keys that was also inserting into the same table, so there was a conflict in the sources of the sequences being generated.
    The way you showed you had coded above, was a perfectly normal way to assign primary keys from a sequence, and is not a problem in a multi user/threaded environment.

  • Unique constraint violation error

    Hello All,
    I have a procedure called - FHM_DASHBOARD_PROC which inserts the data into a table called FHM_DASHBOARD_F fetching records from several tables. However, for a particular type of record, that data is not being inserted because of the Unique constraint violation
    the procedure is:
    create or replace
    PROCEDURE FHM_DASHBOARD_PROC AS
    DB_METRICS_CNT1Z number;
    --V_PODNAME varchar2(10);

    And (Pf.Podname,Trunc(Pf.Dash_Date),Ki.Ki_Code) Not In (Select Podname,Dash_Date,Ki_Code From Fhm_Dashboard_F));It gives *2 record* as result
    XYZ 20-JAN-12     2521     1     1
    XYZ 20-JAN-12     2521     1     1
    So it gives Unique constraint violation error while inserting. Then, I changed in the above inserting code by adding a distinct clause. After that the query gives only ONE record as result. However, that record also is not being inserted into the table and giving the same error.
    Now the question is How shall I insert this record into the table successfully ?
    Though the message is too long, However, I have given you the full structure of the object/procedure and error.
    Thank You in Advance.

    when you have 5 columns in the result set adding DISTINCT is n ot the solution as you may get the same error again.
    Check the target table whether the data exists before inserting ..if not check the table structure for unique constraint created on other columns.
    select *from <table_name>
    where
    DASH_DATE=date '2012-01-20'
    and PODNAME='XYZ'
    and  KI_CODE=2521;

  • Reattempt of insert after a ORA-0001 unique constraint violation

    Hi,
    I'm inserting into a table. The primary key on this table is made up of the user id and a one-up transaction number. Unfortunately, I cannot change the design of this table.
    Because I have to query the table to get the next transaction number before I insert into the table, I sometimes get a ORA-0001 (unique constraint violation) error because some other session grabbed the next transaction number and committed before I did.
    To deal with this I retry the insert, that is, read the table again for the next tran number and insert. I allow for this up to 3 times. If after the third attempt I fail again, I rollback.
    I'm seeing 3 records in the table.
    So here are my questions: Do I need to rollback when I get the ORA-0001 error? I thought I wouldn't have to. If I do, why? The insert failed, how could the commit statement commit 3 records?
    Thanks!

    No, the userid and transaction numbers are not the same (combined) for each of the 3 rows.
    Here is the logic to retry again when I get a ORA-0001:
    PROCEDURE insert_record(
    table1_rec_in IN table1%ROWTYPE,
    tran_number OUT table1.trans_number%TYPE,
    attempt_number IN PLS_INTEGER)
    IS
    next_tran_number table1.trans_number%TYPE;
    BEGIN
    SELECT NVL(MAX(trans_number), 0) + 1
    INTO next_tran_number
    FROM table1
    WHERE userid = table1_rec_in.table1_userid;
    INSERT INTO table1
    (userid,
    trans_number,
    amount,
    transdate)
    VALUES
    (table1_rec_in.userid,
    next_tran_number,
    table1_rec_in.amount,
    SYSDATE);
    tran_number := next_tran_number;
    EXCEPTION
    WHEN DUP_VAL_ON_INDEX THEN
    IF attempt_number < 3
    THEN
    DECLARE
    next_attempt_number PLS_INTEGER;
    BEGIN
    next_attempt_number := attempt_number + 1;
    insert_record(
    table1_rec_in,
    tran_number,
    next_attempt_number);
    END;
    ELSE
    RAISE unable_to_insert_rec;
    END IF;
    WHEN OTHERS THEN
    RAISE unable_to_insert_rec;
    END;
    I'm using recursion to try the insert again. Is this the source of my problems? I don't see it and can't reproduce it.

  • Unique constrain error while  importing xls data

    hello;
    Trying to importing data from Excel file into populated oracle table the following error appears."unique constraint violated"
    The index file has 8 fields.
    search for duplicate records on the Excel file did not indicated any duplications.
    Search for duplicate records on Excel file was conducted by concatenation 8 fields comprising the index file into single string.
    The new imported data differs from the populated data in 2 out of the 8 fields.
    any help?
    thanks

    Try creating an empty table just like the one into which you are importing (use CREATE TABLE table_name AS SELECT ... WHERE 1=2). Make sure it has the same constraints as the original. Then import your spreadsheet into the new table. If there are constraint violations, the duplicates are in your spreadsheet. If this works with no exceptions, you can do INSERT SELECT to copy the data into your real target table. If you now get constraint violations, this means that the spreadsheet contains data that duplicate keys in the target table (which is what I think is happening).
    Also, consider using an EXCEPTION table and the EXCEPTIONS INTO clause to find out which rows are giving you the trouble. See the SQL manual for how to use this.

  • "Access Violation" exception while accessing PDEImage in outside of the class as a parameter

    Hi,
    In our project, we are retrieving PDEImage content from PDF Page by using below line of code in our Plugin project:
    But we are getting "Access Violation" exception while accessing retrieved PDEImage in outside of the class as a parameter.
    This issue is happening only in Windows 8.1 and Acrobat 11 combination.
    If we remove the above highlighted lines from the method then no exception and working fine.
    But we don't know why these lines are added, because we are not updating any of the PDF content here.
    We are planning to remove these highlighted lines from the method.
    We want to know whether the removing of these lines will impact the application.
    Kindly help us to resolve the issue.

    And will removing the lines impact the application? Certainly. If you do not call PDPageReleasePDEContent you will have a memory leak at best, or may prevent other activity from completing (such as saving or closing the file). The first two lines, however, are redundant since you do not seem to be actually changing the page.
    You must call PDPageReleasePDEContent  when you have finished with the content, in every case.

    I'm getting a unique constraint violation on the following but I don't understand why. When you mentioned the following in previous post...
    +unable to get a stable set of rows in the source tables+
    ...I suspected this :-)
    This is EQUIVALENT to "Mutating Table trigger/function" error...
    ...in the sense that the the "target rows" which are
    supposed to be changed (by this statement)
    are FOUND/MATCHED in the "source result set" MULTIPLE TIMESThe main reason this error comes up is...
    In the SOURCE result set, there are MORE than one ROW that MATCHED the TARGET result set.
    In this scenario the row with PK=3 matches more than one SOURCE rows, which one is supposed to be used for updating?
    Yes indeed, oracle is unable to get a stable set of rows in source tables.
    However the PK=4 is not matched in the target result set, so the statement will attenpt to insert both rows resulting in UNIQUE contraint error.
    This was the case with OP in this posts.
    This can be seen in your example by commenting one of the rows in table S with PK=3.

  • Unique constraint violation on version enabled table

    hi!
    we're facing a strange problem with a version enabled table that has an unique constraint on one column. if we rename an object stored in the table (the name-attribute of the object is the one that has a unique constraint on the respective column) and rename it back to the old name again, we get an ORA-00001 unique constraint violation on the execution of an update trigger.
    if the constraint is simply applied as before to the now version enabled table, I understand that this happens, but shouldn't workspace manager take care of something like that when a table with unique constraints is version enabled? (the documentation also says that) because taking versioning into account it's not that we try to insert another object with the same name, it's the same object at another point in time now getting back it's old name.
    we somewhat assume that to be a pretty standard scenario when using versioned data.
    is this some kind of bug or do we just miss something important here?
    more information:
    - versioning is enabled on all tables with VIEW_WO_OVERWRITE and no valid time support
    - database version is 10.2.0.1.0
    - wm installation output:
    ALLOW_CAPTURE_EVENTS OFF
    ALLOW_MULTI_PARENT_WORKSPACES OFF
    ALLOW_NESTED_TABLE_COLUMNS OFF
    CR_WORKSPACE_MODE OPTIMISTIC_LOCKING
    FIRE_TRIGGERS_FOR_NONDML_EVENTS ON
    NONCR_WORKSPACE_MODE OPTIMISTIC_LOCKING
    NUMBER_OF_COMPRESS_BATCHES 50
    OWM_VERSION 10.2.0.1.0
    UNDO_SPACE UNLIMITED
    USE_TIMESTAMP_TYPE_FOR_HISTORY ON
    - all operations are done on LIVE workspace
    any help is appreciated.
    EDIT: we found out the following: the table we are talking about is the only table where the unique constraint is left. so there must have been a problem during version enabling. on another oracle installation we did everything the same way and the unique constraint wasn't left there, so everything works fine.

  • Unique constraint violation

    Hi,
    I am a newbie to oracle..
    I have a composite primary key consisting of sequence,reg_no,srvc_code and srvc_type..
    when i tried inserting a record through the application it is showing that Unique constraint violated..But i did not find the record in the table for the same values
    and if I insert the same values with an sql insert statement,the record is inserted successfully..Please suggest me the possibilities of getting such an error.

    I'll give you 1000 to 1 odds that Oracle is correct & you are mistaken.
    How can we reproduce what you report?

  • Unique key violation i.e. primary key violation in JSF page

    Hi, I am using Jdeveloper 11.1.1.5.0 and working with adf fusion web application. I have created entity object and view object. In view object I have primary key and I have set it's type to DB sequence. THe problem is though the attribute is DB sequence. IN JSF page it show unique key violation i.e. primary key violation. Please help me

    So, do you have a trigger in the database that updates the value of the primary key? Or do you assign the value in some other way?
    You can check [url http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E16162_01/web.1112/e16182/toc.htm]the docs for information about the ways it can be done.

  • Regarding ORA-00001: unique constraint violation error

    Hi ,
    This is Venkat. I am new to OWB.
    When I run the mapping I am getting the ORA-00001: unique constraint violation error.
    My loading type is Update/Insert.
    My target table Primarykey is combination of 3 keys.
    Please give me the suggestions. It is very urgent.
    Thanks,
    Venkat

    1) If you can disable/drop the indexes on the table, you can load the data and then do a SQL query grouping by the PK/UI to show which rows have a count > 1 i.e. the duplicates.
    2) If you can't alter the target table, perhaps create a dummy copy of the table without pk/indexes and load to that and then do above query.
    3) Run the mapping via the debugger and set a breakpoint just before your target table and examine the data to see if you can spot the duplicates.
    4) Put a deduplicator into the mapping (just before target table), this may allow you to load data but doesn't solve the real problem as to why you have duplicates.

  • Help needed for PK_REV_COL unique constraint violation

    We’re receiving a SNPW.PK_REV_COL unique constraint violation when trying to reverse a pipe delimited source file. There are no duplicate column names within the source file but the same column names are used across several different input files. Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

    Hi,
    This is a problem with the Reversed tables from ODI.
    Go to work repository and truncate any "snp_rev...." tables.
    That should solves it.
