Unknown issue while applying effect using "exposure" plugin

Hi,
I am trying to execute a third party plugin called "Exposure4" from my existing automation plugin. I have done something similar before too and had no problem. However, I have encountered some problems while executing this plugin from my automation plugin. I am able to build it and when I run it doesn't give any error message. But when I debug the code it returns - 1 error code. When I execute its equivalent javascript from extendscript it runs fine.
Then I tried to run the jsx from my plugin. But it is also not working.
Please guide. Its really urgent.
I have tried hard but didn't got any clue.

You are really not providing enough info for anyone to be able to help you. You have to realize that you are asking us to somehow debug your code that you are not providing in the post (a least the very few lines that trigger the plugin) which runs some third party plugin which nobody here probably has.
In general, here are 3 simple steps you have to follow to get it all working:
1. Copy the listener plugin to PS plugin folder
2. Start PS, open your image and run your third-party plugin. Make sure it succeeds
3. Close PS and open Listener.log on the Desktop. Copy&paste the function that contains the code that triggers your third party plugin into your automation plugin source.

No database version of course. Unimportant.
If I recall correctly, it is 'integer external ' and you would best double quoting the alphanumerics (which you didn't ).
Try changing integer in integer external in the ctl file.

Unknown error while updating module use!

I restarted XE with "/etc/init.d/oracle-xe stop /etc/init.d/oracle-xe start" and then see this error message in the terminal console. Every serveral minutes, the error "Unknown error while updating module use!" is echoed.
Any advice?

Look for the alert_xe.log file, maybe you'll find some additional information there if that message is related to your XE instance.

Issue while apply support pack SAP_BASIS SAPKB70013 -18

Hi Gurus,
We have issue while apply support pack to Development system, we have implemented SAPKB70012 pack first and then we have implemented SPAU and saved in Trasport request . while applying other patch SAPKB70013 -18 in one go system asked us to release SPAU transport and then we released that transport after that same transport with auotomatic job it has got implemneted to Quality system and then after that we got below error in quality system :-
The function module "EXTENDED_AUTH_CHECK_FOR_REPS" is called, but
cannot be found in its function group.
Error in the ABAP Application Program
The current ABAP program "SAPLS38E" had to be terminated because it has
come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
Please suggest now both system is not working .

Issue while starting AdminSerever using wlst commands

Hi, I am facing issue while trying to start the AdminServer and Managed Server via nodemanager using wlst commands. I have installelled WebLogic 11g on windows 2008 R2. Mentioned below are the steps that I followed:
1) In Nodemanager.properties files I set following parameters to true. I did this, so that nodemanager can start the server in case of crash.
CrashRecoveryEnabled=true
StartScriptEnabled=true
2) started nodemanager and then started AdminServer from the command prompt as follows:

nmStart('AdminServer')
I dont see any errors but it seems the AdminServer do Not start properly as in the cmd window I don't see any 'started successfully' message - the message remains as *"Starting AdminServer..."*
However in the adminServer logs I see that the status is Running (refer logs at the end) and I can also see it as Running in weblogic console.
I really didnt care if its not giving a success message in cmd window but the problem occurs when I start the managedServer. After starting the managed server in about 10 minutes, there is a stuck thread. (I guess it is 10 mins because Stuck Thread MaxTime value is 600).
If I set StartScriptEnabled=false, and start by directly running the startweblogic.cmd then it works fine.
I am struggling with this for last 1 week, appreciate any help.

Issue while generating report using web.show_document with https

Hi All,
I am facing some issue while seeing the report using web.show_document as shown below:

In this case the report opens directly without asking for me to save or open or cancel option
whereas if I hit

it asks for save or open or cancel option
so that I can save the report to my machine and open in wordpad format
The report generated in the first case is not coming in proper format

OutOfMemory while applying patch using OPatch

I`m apply patches...
About 10 of patches was successfully applyed...
But when I apply one patch I have an exception java.lang.OutOfMemory
does any have this trouble?
i have installed Oracle 9i Rel 2 on Linux

While applying this patch 16784403 & follow the post install task Step 4.1: Redeploy the new Forms EAR file (Conditional) of note 437878.1 after application of this MLR patch,4.2 Regenerate JAr files
do i need to stop all application services? as of this is OPatch, dont need to stop the application while applying this patch & post install step.
Please stop all application services and apply the patch. It is not mandatory you shutdown the DB, but if possible recommend to shutdown DB as well, and apply patch.
Then as post installation, regenerate JAR files using adadmin.

Issue while applying bundle patch 11.1.1.3.8

Hi Experts,
We are facing issue after applying the bundle patch 11.1.1.3.8. We are unable to edit IT Resource and create/edit connectorafter appying Bundle Patch BP08 for oim 11.1.1.3.
Below are the steps followed
1.Click on manage IT Resource
2.Click on edit for a specific it resource.
3.Shows "A system error occured.Please contact your system administrator"
The patch was applied for fixing email notification issue. Before appying this the mentioned functionalities were working as expected.
Just wanted to check if anyone has faced this issue and what was done to resolve this.

Opatch issue while applying the patch 6400501

upgrading the database with R12.0.6 for database from 10g to 11g.
as per pre-requisites we have to apply the iAS patch 6400501 According to the doc id 1058763.1
we are applying the 10.1.0.5 version of patch 6400501 to the 10.1.2 Oracle Home
This inventory is not containing the information for this oracle home
the environment is set to the ORACLE_HOME correctly.
We are getting the following error

Passivate issue while applying viewCriteria on runtime

Hoping someone can shed some light on this. (the issue is not how to do this, but why doing it like this is not working)
Here goes :
Supose, you need to list all employees from departmant 60 (considering HR schema) while at the same time, i need to know wich one of them has a sallary > some_value.
(Again, i'm sure there are lots of ways to do this, but the issue is not how to do it, but why doing it like this raises some passivation issues.)
So, i created the Department and Employee viewObjects (linked together). And created a viewCriteria for salary > vc_salary inside EmplyeeView.
Now on the view, consider the approach: I created the following, simple, action method:

Am i missing something? Is there any reason for this implementation to raise such a problem?

Even replacing the vcm.removeApplyViewCriteriaName("bySalary"); for the viewObject.applyViewCriteria(null); as referenced on "42.4.2 Removing All Applied Named View Criteria", i get the same behavior.
This is how de bind parameter is defined:

    Type="java.math.BigDecimal"/>If the bind variables are not persisted for passivation, what happens after activation of a VO with a viewcriteria having a value from a binding parameter? Or if i use the executeQuery immediatly after that activation? Do i have to override the passivation method to assure it stores that value?
Anyways, i believe that on particular case thats not the issue. I believe the EmployeeView viewObject should not have the "WHERE ( ( (Employees.SALARY > :vc_salary ) )" on activation since i made sure to remove it before the passivation with the "viewObject.applyViewCriteria(null) and for that reason im not expecting to read that variable. But the framework, for some reason expects it to be there.

Issue while doing Segmentation using Relationship Category

Hello Experts
We are implementing SAP CRM Lean Marketing using CRM 7.0. We are implementing segmentation, mail forms and using "Follow-up Processing of Target Group" functionality to send e-mail/fax to the BPs in target group. We are not using Campaigns. The "Follow-up Processing of Target Group" functionality provides facility to send bulk mail by using the available "Export to Channel" function from the opened target group itself.
Our business requirement is to do segmentation based on Company attributes and Relationship Category. The output of the target group should enlist the persons related to the Company based on the relationship category selected while doing the segmentation. e.g. While doing segmentation if I have selected company attributes Industry Sector of companies as Agriculture, company type as Partnerships and selected relationship category Has Supplier, then for the Companies matching the segmentation criterion, the target group should enlist all the persons related with the company with relationship category Has Supplier. As a further step the e-mail/fax will be sent to all these persons

We tried enhancing the output of the target group in order to add Company ID/ Name , but the issue is the BADI gets Input as persons BP id, nothing else, due to this if a person is having relationships with multiple companies, the BADI is unable to identify which company to choose as Relationship Category is not available to the BADI. And further issue is if a Person is having same relationship category with 2 companies e.g. Supplier for company A and for Company B too , in this case too the BADI is unable identify correct Company to return to the target group output.

As an alternative we tried implementing the BADI CRM_MKTTG_SEG_MEM_EX , that is used to define data export from the target group. Facing issue while handling faults using fault-policies.xml

Scenario: One Asynchronous Bpel is trying invoke the webservice. When the status of the webservice is "Down", the BPEL will throw "System fault : remoteFault"
This fault will be handled by the fault-policies.xml.
CustomFaultHandler.java : basically it will print data to audit-trail and send data to the JMS Queue.
I am facing some issues , when i am trying to handle faults using fault-policies.xml.

My SOA suite version is 11.1.1.7 and i was getting the same warning while compiling the Composite in JDeveloper. To fix it update your fault-policy.xml
Change it to

Issue while sending mails using classes

i have one issue when i try to send mails using classes cl_document_bcs,cl_cam_address_bcs,cl_bcs etc

Every time when i choose other network or dongle to send those mails it gets sent.
As per the description, seems it's an issue related to this specific network. Probably, they've adjusted their security policy, like blocked some port numbers, etc.
You might need to contact the support of your ISP to confirm what SMTP settings you need. Check port number, and security settings.

Issue while removing stock using MB1C - 562

Hi,
Our client has few materials for which batch number is captured in small alphabets and now when we are trying to remove stock using MB1C - 562 system gives error of Deficet Qty as it automatically changes small letters to CAPITAL letters as soon as we press enter on MB1C. We are doing stock removal activity as client is migrating from old SAP system to ECC and we have to remove stock data from old system.
We are using an ABAP program for removing stock but in background it uses MB1C - 562 mvt type but for few materials we are getting this issue of small letters.
Please let me know if there is any way we can remove these stock records with small letter batch number via 562 mvt type

As I already said: no matter what movement type you use, you cannot make SAP posting this batch number.
Find out the way how this stock was posted into SAP. and use the same way to get it off SAP.
I think you have to convert the batch number into capital letters before you can goods issue the stock. For this you may need to create an own report that does a hard update in SAP tables MCHA, MCH1 and MCHB (maybe more ... I cant look into your system, you may have to contact SAP to get help which tables need to be amended or which conversion exit needs to be switched off)

Issue while installing WCS using omii.ini: Database ping failed

Hi,
I am trying to install WCS on local linux VM. I am following the document 'Oracle WebCenter Sites: Installing on Oracle WebLogic Application Server".
Following are the things I have been able to do successfully:
Install Oracle DB, create a database and then create a user for this database
Install WebLogic server, create domain, create admin server, managed server, and finally create a datasource. THe datasource connection to the DB created in step 1 above is successfull.
I downloaded the WCS installer from Oracle Website 'WebCenterSites_11.1.1.6_bp1'. I am installing using silent installer using omii.ini file.
During installation, on receiving the prompt to install CS and CAS applications, I installed them successfully via WebLogic console.
I tested the URL 'http://localhost:7001/cs/HelloCS' and it showed me the Oracle WCS 11g page.
Now, when I go back to the wcs installation terminal and hit Enter, it gives following error:

It looks like DB ping is getting failed.
But I am not sure how to resolve this error.

I got the ping issue resolved today, there was an issue in the data source. Finally I was able to complete the installation successfully.
But there is one more issue now. After completing the installation, I am trying to access the URL to get to the WCS login page, but with no success.
Below, I am mentioning few URLs that I tried, and the outcome:
http://localhost:7001/cs/HelloCS , This URL gives me a page with some static content messages like 'Welcome to Oracle WebCenter Sites 11gR1'. Then there are some text lines in blue color. I think this page is working as expected.
http://localhost:7001/cs/login , this URL automatically gets redirected to the URL 'http://localhost:7003/cas/login?service=http%3A%2F%2Flocalhost%3A7001%2Fcs%2Fwem%2Ffatwire%2Fwem%2FWelcome' and I get an error message 'Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at localhost:7003.'
http://localhost:7001/cas/login, this takes me to login page, where when I enter fwadmin@xceladmin credentials, I am taken to JASIG Central Authentication Service page, which is again static, and I can't do anything on this page
http://localhost:7001/cs/Satellite?c=Page&cid=1327351719456&pagename=avisports%2FPage%2FHomeLayout1 , this takes me to the Avisports site, which is functional
http://localhost:7001/cs/Satellite?c=Page&childpagename=FirstSiteII%2FFSIILayout&cid=1124747609916&pagename=FSIIWrapper, this takes me to he FirstSit page, which is again functional
Issue: I am not getting the main login page, where I would get 3 sites(Avisports/FirstsiteII) in the dropdown.
Looks like there is something wrong going on.
