Unmarshal( ) method failing Error: NullPointerException

Hi,
I am trying to use Java Class Generator version 9.2.0.4.0. I am able to use the class generator to generate classes based on dtd and creating the XML document in java code. But now when I am trying to use the unmarshal method() to bind a XML document to create elements object, thats where it is failing. It is returning null objects from the Root element. Can any one please help me with this error.
Thanks

hi,
please look in to the Login.java file and in that line no 603
there you are trying not handling Null pointer Exception i.e., you might be trying to access that arraylist which has no elements.
look in to that
if you are still struck please go thruogh the API of Java Docs.
thnx & regards
Reddy

    Hi,
    This error indicates that the group policy isn't set correctly, when configure the group policy at teh server side, you should notice that only one of the additional authentication can be required at start up , otherwise a policy occurs, the notice can be
    found just like below:
    and after test, the error indeed occurs, just like the screen below:
    So, I suggest to check the group policy for bitlocker settings, you can only choose one start up authentication method.

  • The servlet weblogic.servlet.AsyncInitServlet init method failed

    I installed WLS 9.2.2 recently with my app being on 8.1.5 for a long time.
    I chose to create a new domain instead of upgrading my existing one.
    I use the eclipse 3.2.2 with the WL plugin.
    When I start the server and login to the console not using eclipse it works fine.
    Trying to start the server and login to the console gives a internal server error.
    Any idea what could be wrong? I bolded the parts where I have looked into.
    Here is the console output:

    The only thing I see different is that eclipse has different arguments when calling the jvm at the top.
    startWebLogic.cmd:
    C:\bea92\JDK150~1\bin\java -client -Xms256m -Xmx512m -XX:CompileThreshold=8000
    -XX:PermSize=48m -XX:MaxPermSize=128m -Xverify:none -da -Dplatform.home=C:\b

    ntegration -Dweblogic.management.discover=true -Dwlw.iterativeDev= -Dwlw.testC
    onsole= -Dwlw.logErrorsToConsole= -Dweblogic.ext.dirs=C:\bea92\patch_weblogic922
    \profiles\default\sysext_manifest_classpath -Dweblogic.Name=AdminServer -Djava.s
    ecurity.policy=C:\bea92\WEBLOG~1\server\lib\weblogic.policy weblogic.Server
    eclipse:
    -hotspot -Xms32m -Xmx200m -Dweblogic.ProductionModeEnabled=
    Eclipse may be calling the cmd I dont know.
    I will try upgrading my eclipse like adrian said, but in the meantime I appreciate any further advice/tips.

  • EJB ref injection fails with NullPointerException on heavy load in WebServ.

    Hello,
    I am facing a strange performance problem. I have two stateless session beans in one EJB project, both are exposed as web services. <br>One bean has only one method and forwards the incoming object to the other bean via an ejb reference.

    When I call the notify() method with low load (i.e. once every few seconds), everything works fine. <br>However, as soon as the load increases to e.g. 2-10 calls / second, I start getting the followng error message.

    Intuition tells me this is a configuration problem, and if I find the setting for initial pool size and set it to a high number, this will not happen. <br>I assume this because the doResizeOneStepUp() method fails.
    Am I right? If so, where can I set this setting? I have been looking, but could not find it in documetation.

    Hi Patrik,
    > Exception raised from invocation of public void com.sap.sia.serviceMonitor.ServiceMonitorBean.initPostConstruct() method on bean instance com.sap.sia.serviceMonitor.ServiceMonitorBean@5a8ab489 ... ; nested exception is: java.lang.NullPointerException
    The NPE occurs in the bean code, in the initPostConstruct() method or some other method it calls. Unfortunately, its stack trace is not available above, but you should be able to find it in the defaultTrace file.

    Hi,
    Fatal Exception:com.sap.cms.tcs.interfaces.exceptions.TCSCommunicationException: communication error: Exception received:
    ClientServerException exception:Software component version 58a66500336b11dd8387f3c70a53b4e5 has not yet been imported into the system and therefore cannot yet be assembled using CMS. You must execute a CMS- or file-based import of the software component version into the consolidation system first.
    The error is saying that there might a communication issue with CBS to CMS. That's the reson the imported SCA version is not available in the current system to assemble. The NWDI restart may work some times.
    Thanks
    Krishna

  • RemoteObject throwing "Send failed" error

    I'm trying to read some data through a java class using Tomcat and blazeds.  I'll post some of my config and code here.
    Here's the destination block of my remoting-config.xml
       <destination id="olapQuery">
          <properties>
             <source>com.zencos.OLAP.OLAPQuery</source>
             <scope>application</scope>
          </properties>
       </destination>
    Here is where I setup the RemoteObject in my mxml
        <mx:RemoteObject id="olapQuery" destination="olapQuery">
            <mx:method name="query" result="olapQueryHandler(event)"/>
        </mx:RemoteObject>
    Here's my olapQueryHandler method
                private function olapQueryHandler(event:ResultEvent):void {
                    var olapData:ArrayCollection = event.result as ArrayCollection;
    I call the remote object in a method called initApp that is called by the preinitialize event, like this
    <mx:Application
        xmlns:mx="http://www.adobe.com/2006/mxml"
        xmlns:ilog="http://www.ilog.com/2007/ilog/flex"
        layout="absolute"
        preinitialize="initApp()"
        creationComplete="complete()">
    Here is the method
                private function initApp():void {
                    olapQuery.query(["TimeYQM"],["ServiceOrder"],["Trouble_Ticket_countSUM"]);
    And here is the error I'm seeing when the application starts:

    Where am I going wrong here?  I'm sure I've missed a step but I can't see where in any of the documentation.  I can supply any other information needed to figure this out.
    Thanks for the help

    A followup to my post.
    When I try to go to http://localhost:8080/Dashboard/messagebroker/amf
    I'm getting a 404 error.
    I hope someone can help with this.  I'm seeing similar errors all over the forums but no helpful resolutions.

  • Excel ActiveX: Server Execution Failed Error

    I'm using my own ActiveX VIs to control Excel. I take a text file and create a chart from some of the columns, then print the chart. I'm getting a "server execution failed" error when I call PrintOut on the chart object. I understand this error stems from the fact that I'm developing on Excel 2007 and testing on 2003, but upgrading all of the computers that will use this software is not going to happen.
    I've fixed all other incompatibilities between versions, and the chart is created correctly, but when the PrintOut method is reached, I get the error. Has anyone ran into this and worked around it? Is my only solution to downgrade my machine to Office 2003?

    Here's a few details on that particular error, both of these articles have some workarounds:

    Error 2146959355 When Running Exe on Machine With Different Version of Office

    I have some development to move through today as part of aproject, but we cannot due to this.
    I have checked that the Data in ExchangeProfile is correct.  No users are locked.  I have started the CBS applications not started in Java Admin Console.
    It worked before upgrading to SP19 (from 15).

  • Query engine failed error for crytal report refreshing to new params in jsp

    Using licensed weblogic 8.1 server in production mode. Weblogic workhsop has inetegrated supprot for crystal reports 9. Using standalone report & accessing sql server through odbc, i got result for different parameters passed.
              Problem Area : Passing parameter to have specific report causes unexpected query engine failed error in com.crystaldecisions.report.web.viewer.CrystalViewer class. If viewer.refresh method is commented, then static (already saved) report is displayed through jsp. But using viewer.refresh method for dynamic report genertaion for new parameters through jsp gives above error.

    Hello
              I'm experiencing the same problem. Please let me know if you've any solution.

  • "CreateUser Failed" / error result (1); Operations error

    Good afternoon,
    I'm still having problems adding domains or users through the ida.
    specs: (all NT 4)
    Messaging server 5.1
    Admin Server 4.2
    Directory Server 4.13
    When trying to create a user for an existing(working) domain, the error message that comes up through the ida is this:
    Status: CreateUser
    Failed:
    netscape.ldap.LDAPException: error result (1); Operations error
    [Continue]
    At that moment, the following error comes up in the ldap access log. The full cut is below. Any ideas why it won't enter the a user into the ldap database?

    Well if I open the console and open the Directory Server, then click on the Database in the configuration tree, then the 'Settings' tab, the 'Make database read-only' box is not checked. I know this is the dumb-ass way of checking and I've learnt not to trust the console any more than a one-night stand in Bangkok, so how would I go about properly checking that it hasn't turned read-only on me?
    The only changes that would have affected the acl in any way would have been recent admin password changes, but these have been reversed.

  • "Load report failed" error with VS 2010 upgrade

    I have a report system that has been running nicely for a few years. Today, I upgraded it to use the latest Crystal from Visual Studio 2010. I installed the .net framework 4.0, installed the Crystal runtime (64 bit), and updated the web site with slightly revised code to use the new stuff. Now, reports that worked yesterday fail with the 'load report failed' error. A little research shows that the file name passed to the report engine is correct (and is the same as it has always been). I see that rpt files are being created in windows\temp each time a report is requested, so it seems that the report file is being found.
    The code change I made was to use the new ExportToHttpResponse method.
    When deployed in development and test environments (both 32 bit). this worked perfectly. In production, however, no such luck. I wonder if I have missed a setting somewhere, or if there is something extra to do on a 64 bit server?
    Does anyone have a clue for me?
    More info - I found the following error in the event log:
    The keycode assembly, BusinessObjects.Licensing.KeycodeDecoder.dll, cannot be loaded.
    ... which I thought was interesting until I noticed the same error occurs on my dev machine, where the reports are working.
    I also used process monitor to check the dlls loaded on the production box, and they all seem to be the latest version. I tried using the 'modules' utility on my production box, but it did not pick up the Crystal stuff (or any of my web stuff - I wonder if it is a 32-bit only tool?).

    I just tried this again with the same result. I uninstalled the previous Crystal, deleted all the old folders and reg keys I could find, then installed the new 64 bit redist package. I asigned permissions to the SAP reg key tree. I ended up with the same result: "Invalid file name". There were new files created in the temp folder for each report request, so I can tell that my.rpt files are being found.
    I used process monitor to see what was happening, and here are the results that seem interesting:
    RegOpenKey     HKU\.DEFAULT\Software\SAP BusinessObjects\Crystal Reports for .NET Framework 4.0     NAME NOT FOUND
    RegOpenKey     HKU\.DEFAULT\Software\SAP BusinessObjects\Crystal Reports for .NET Framework 4.0     NAME NOT FOUND
    IRP_MJ_CREATE     C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\Crystal Reports for .NET Framework 4.0\Common\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\win64_x64\secSSO.dll.2.Config     NAME NOT FOUND
    FASTIO_NETWORK_QUERY_OPEN     C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\Crystal Reports for .NET Framework 4.0\Common\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\win64_x64\SmAgentAPI.dll     NAME NOT FOUND
    Since it seemed to be trying to create files in the \win64_x64 folder, I allowed the process full access, but it didn't help. It was also looking for SmAgentAPI.dll which does not seem to exist on my system.

    Please help me out in that aspect Most likely reason is that there is a configuration source (a file or value in a file), which exists in the IDE and doesn't exist when you run it outside the IDE.
