Unparsable exception

Question

Hello Techies,
I am using jakarta's poi to read excel sheet.
In my Excel sheet iam having on column which contains time in the following format.
6:26AM ET
When i try to read it through poi iam getting
Unparseable date: "6:26AM ET"
Here is my code:
DateFormat df = new SimpleDateFormat("hh:mm");
try {
lastRefresh = cell.getStringCellValue();
java.util.Date date = df.parse(lastRefresh);
time = new Time(date.getTime());
catch (ParseException pe) {
System.out.println("parseException"+ pe.getMessage());          
why parseException is comming
can anybody modify my code??

Seems fine to me (and works as well), but you might want to use "hh:mmaa" to look at AM/PM as well ... otherwise you'll just ignore it.
