Unsharp photos in Flash Player

Hi,
I have a photography site obviously containing many photos, which are shown by a web-player called SlideShowPro, embedded in my personal website. This player uses Adobe Flash Player 14.0.0.125. When I ctrl-click on any photo a pop up appears where I choose a few options, one them is quality, set by default on High. I want to change this to Low, because my photos appear a lot sharper that way. The problem is that it only works as long as I use the active Safari web-page. On any new page the quality has to be set to Low again, which is very ennoying for customers. Can you explain how I can change this into a permanent setting? SlideShowPro helpdesk offers no solution. I work on the latest version of OS Mavericks.
Thanks a lot for any help!

This is a bit like asking of slicing a sandwich have any
beneficial
effect. It might. ;) It could make a very large sandwich fit
into your
mouth ... but it doesn't affect the taste.
If you have large background image that is partially
obscured by other,
smaller images ... it might be beneficial to slide up the
visual portions of
the background image and bring in only those pieces. That's
something off
the top of my head.

  • Can't upload photo with Flash player

Here's a 24 second video documenting the problem:

I have a Retina Macbook Pro running Mountain Lion 10.8.1. Brand new computer. The take a photo feature that uses Flash does not appear to work on Tumblr.
I have the latest version of Adobe installed.
    11,4,402,265 installed

I was able to reproduce this on 10.8.1 with my Macbook Pro using Flash Player 11.4.  Reverting to 11.3 allowed the picture to be taken and saved as expected.
Would you mind opening a bug on this at http://bugbase.adobe.com, I'll open one internally and link the two.
    Thanks,

This was working with Flash 10, but 10.1 kills it  I am not sure if its the server or client side that makes it freeze.

haha yes we did, but it broke as soon as I went to 10.1!
The .draw command was killing big pictures once i went to 10, then i removed the draw commands and just worked with the loaded MC, and it worked, then i updated to 10.1 and it doesn't work now... driving me nuts.
and not 100% sure what you mean by not accessing the data, I have to change its width/height/x/y once it comes in.

  • Trouble uploading photos with Flash Player on Facebook, even though have lastest version. Help?

I recently purchased a new laptop with Windows 8 which accordingly has Flash Player already installed.
I later went to upload pictures on Facebook only for a pop up message to say that I do not have the latest version installed. I therefore, went on to do the necessary checks via Adobe website which confirmed that I do in fact have the latest version. I continued to to the recommended troubleshooting with the ActiveX Filtering and then closed the browser.
I tried to upload again & I still cannot upload via Flash Player.
    PLEASE HELP????

Go over EVERYTHING here: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/flash-player-issues-windows-8.html  once more just to be sure. If that doesn't do it, you may want to look into repairing IE: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/318378

  • How do I solve this problem:Photo's no longer displayed (Adobe Flash player 13,0,0,214) in online photo album maker (Webprint.nl) after update to Firefox 29.0.1

After I (automatically) updated to Mozilla Firefox version 29.0.1, the online photo album crreator of Webprint.nl no longer displayes the photo's that I uploaded.
The photo's are displayed again when I use an older Firefox browser (version 28.*) from an another computer. This is my old (WIndows Vista) computer that I use when my new Windows 7 computer has problems.
It looks like the new Firefox has a problem with Adobe Flash player 13,0,0,214; which is the newest version according to Adobe.
    Please help!

  • Adobe Flash Player - Installed latest version but I still cannot add photos to my FB album

I have a Mac with OSX 10.9.5   I have an album on my FB page that I regularly add photos to from my iPhoto. Recently my Adobe Flash Player requested I update to latest version.  I did....several times.   It says It is installed on system preferences...I've installed NPAPI Plug 17.0 as well as PPAPI Plug17.0
And still I get the "Flash Player upgrade required" when I attempt to upload photos.  What can do to fix this?

Ask that in the forum for whatever web browser you're using to access Facebook.

  • Facebook Video/Photo Posts & Adobe Flash Player

For some reason or another when I try to send my friend a video message or photo on Facebook, I can't. I can see the screen in the Adobe Flash Player that asks if I want to give the site permission to access my camera, but I can't click on anything. I've tried this in both Chrome and Safari and neither works, even after I installed Adobe Flash Player from the Adobe website. Any ideas on how to fix this?

FOUND A SOLUTION FOR ALL THOSE WHO HAVE THIS PROBLEM:
Note the following workaround (far from sufficient for customers, but good enough for feature development): Go to System Preferences > Flash Player > Camera and Mic > Camera and Microphone Settings by Site... Find the site you want to allow and change "Ask me" to "Allow". This bypasses the dialog and allows recording to proceed normally.
this seems to be a common problem with lion and adobe. i did this and it fixed my problem!

  • Flash Player XI successfully installed, can't upload photo's. Keeps asking me to download again.

Even though download of Flash Player XI was successful I still can't upload photo's. Is there a missing link ? The message continually asks me to download Flash Player XI repeatedly. I have tried multiple times but still get the same message to download again.

Also, there is no such thing as "Flash Player XI"; you may get fake update notifications from somewhere else than Adobe.

  • Flash Player update blocking some folders/photos upload?

Why is the latest Flash Player update blocking some folders from view in my laptop's photo library when I attempt to upload a photo to a website (ie FaceBook, Yahoo email, ect)?  I'm using Windows 7 and IE 10.0.4

When I attempt to upload a photo onto Facebook or an email (for example). I click on attach/upload and click on my Photo Library, but not all of my folders are showing up, so I can't upload those photos. Although if I open up my Photo Library directly on my laptop the folders can be seen and accessed.  Prior to updating my Adobe Flash Player this was never a issue.

  • Attempting to download Adobe Flash Player 11.3 to use the Picaboo Photo website and it will not download. Help please?? :)

In an attempt to create a photobook with a Groupon I purchased, I need to have Adobe Flash Player 11.3. When I click 'Get Started' on the Picaboo website then 'Yes' to 'This content requires Adobe Flash Player 11.3. Would you like to download?' it then states at the bottom left that 'Canceled Openin the Page' and I can't find if its downloaded. Any thoughts on how I can fix this?

    SOLUTION:
Needed to update the Operating System that I was on - computer is only a 2008, but that means way outdated. They don't sell it in the Apple stores, you have to call to order it and it's less then $30 with delivery.

  • Photo problems with Flash Player 10

I need help disabling Flash Player when trying to copy
pictures from a webpage. When I copy a picture from the internet I
usually right click on my mouse which brings up a menu with the
option of copy or save picture as - but after downloading Flash
Player 10 - Now when I click on the right button of my mouse to try
to copy a picture off a webpage it brings up a menu for Flash
Player with no option to copy anything. I need to disable or
unselect flash player so I can copy pictures again. Any ideas on
how to fix this problem would be greatly appreciated.
    thanks,

What that means is that the picture you're looking at is
being presented inside of a Flash Player SWF. Flash takes over the
right-click menu, and if the developer has not enabled you to copy
content (which they can as of CS4 and Flash Player 10) then you
won't be able to do it. that helps developers protect their
    content.
If you disable Flash Player (there are tools to do it it, or
you can uninstall it) then you won't be able to -view- any of that
    Flash content.
Now, this should not in any way effect images that are in
regular HTML pages. Those would still have the regular right-click
menu of the browser you're using.

  • I like apple product, however, some limitation like adobe flash player basic function of seeing slide photos in web site. Anyone who can tell me of what apple apps can see slide photos?

Hi, if apple block adobe flash player, i want to see your solution

As snozdop pointed out-Adobe has killed mobile flash for all platforms.
They have focused their efforts on developing HTML 5 tools.
    It a moot point.
Developers who have a clue are switching over to HTML 5.
