Unsupported operation read for type realm

Hi everybody,
I'm trying to list the realms of the Top organisation with this code:
("token" is the SSOToken of a valid amadmin session)
     try
         AMIdentityRepository idRepo = new AMIdentityRepository(token, "");
         IdSearchControl controlSearch = new IdSearchControl();
         controlSearch.setMaxResults(1);
         IdSearchResults resultSearch = idRepo.searchIdentities(IdType.REALM, "*", controlSearch);
         Iterator orgListIterator = resultSearch.getSearchResults().iterator();
         if (orgListIterator.hasNext())
          AMIdentity org = (AMIdentity) orgListIterator.next();
          return org.getMembers(IdType.REALM);
     catch (Exception ex)
         ex.printStackTrace();
     }But I'm getting this error:
Plug-in com.iplanet.am.sdk.AMSDKRepo does not support operation read for type realmFor children organisations (like "business"), the Set returned by getMembers() is empty...
Any idea??
thanks

It's the price we "early adopters" pay. It usually takes a few weeks to even months before Apple and Adobe add support for the latest RAW camera profiles. There is no standard RAW format, even within a brand. It's maddening, but that is the nature of the format.
For now all we can do is either shoot JPEG and grin and bear it or shoot JPEG + RAW, and when RAW support is available trash the JPEGs and upload the RAWs. Or in your case use the 5000 when you absolutely need RAW.

  • Operator ' ' undefined for type K

    Hey,
    Trying to implement a binary search tree.
    I can't get the search feature working...
    I keep getting this error:
    The operator < is undefined for the argument type(s) K, K     BinarySearchTree/src/myPackage     BSTree.java     line 35     similarly for '>'http://www.darkdayssoftware.com/BSTree.java
    http://www.darkdayssoftware.com/TreeNode.java
    Any Help much appreciated.

    Without wishing to state the obvious, the error message is simply telling you that the two operators cannot be used to make comparisons between objects of that particular class. Remember that Java - unlike C++ - does not support operator overloading so it is not always possible to use all of the operators to perform comparisons between different objects. It is quite likely that you would see a similar message if you tried to compare two Strings using these operators.

    Chris,
    I'm not a database guy - so in many ways, I'm not really qualified to answer this, but I'll make a suggestion anyway:
    At the very top of your code, put the following:
    Option Strict On
    Option Explicit On
    Option Infer Off
    With strict on and infer off, it will force you declare types - which I see missing in many places in the code.
    It's entirely possible that by you then going through and fixing those issues, you'll have corrected the problem.
    I don't know that, but it's possible -- and it should be done this way anyway, so there's certainly no harm to be done; in fact you'll actually speed up the program to a small degree because objects don't have to be inferred for the type that they actually
    are.
    ***** EDIT *****
    Also this: DON'T declare any of the types simply as "Object"; that's just trading off late binding for boxing, so you haven't really done much good. Declare them each as their correct actual type.
    Still lost in code, just at a little higher level.

  • Mapping with Scd operator set to type 2 reading source records two times

    Mapping with Scd operator set to type 2 reading source records two times.Records selected count being displayed at the end of execution is double the source record count.This possibly is affecting the performance of the mapping.
    Is this a bug in scd type 2 operagtor in OWB 11gR2.How to rectify this umwamted double loop through the source data selectiom?

    Hi Roelant,
    I think it is important to be aware that although Paris - 10gR2 - is not actually buggy (in this respect!), it is really quite idiosyncratic in exactly how it processes SCDs.
    I followed up on your and Mark's comments, and did an in depth analysis of this topic. It is at http://www.donnapkelly.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/documents/OWB_10gR2_SCD.pdf
    My conclusions are perhaps of interest to anyone considering doing SCD processing with Paris.
    I'll be doing a follow-up this weekend, and publishing a sort of 'how-to-do-it' guide.
    Cheers,
    Donna

  • How to uninstall the Reader (eBook) Library or Reader for PC software in the Windows Vista or Windows 7 operating system.

    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Click the Start button and then click Control Panel.
    In the Control Panel window, under Programs, click Uninstall a program.
    In the Uninstall or change a program window, click to select Reader Library by Sony or Reader for PC, and then in the menu bar, click Uninstall.
    Close the Uninstall or change a program window.
    NOTES:
    Follow the on-screen instructions to finish uninstalling the application.
    If prompted for an administrator password or a User Account Control prompt is displayed, type the appropriate password, or click Yes.
    If the program does not uninstall properly, reinstall the program, then try uninstalling it again.
    If desired, you can now install the Reader software at any time.
    NOTE: You can reimport your books purchased from other websites after installing the Reader for PC. Books purchased from the Reader Store from Sony will automatically show up in the My Library section after sign in.

  • Good compact flash card reader for PC slot?  card types I and II

    Thanks for your time.

    Interesting.
    I have a Sandisk SD(etc) card reader for my Powerbook's PC slot, and it eats CPU pretty effectively as well when importing into iPhoto - but so does reading from a USB 2 card reader. The PC card reader is slower than my USB reader, but the PC reader is way more convenient!
    I've noticed that OS X seems to have more difficulty with PC cards than external readers. For example, last night my PC card quit - or so I thought. When I inserted my camera's card into the reader, it wouldn't read. I saw the PC Card item pop into the menubar of the finder, so I knew the card was functional. I plugged my card + camera in with it's USB cable, and it worked (transferred to iPhoto) just fine. I formatted the card, but while iPhoto recognized it via USB (via camera and external reader), it wouldn't via PC card. I rebooted a while later, and it began to work again - go figure. I've never had this sort of issue with USB gadgets, so It's a little odd.
    BTW: I usually use a Kingston 1 GB SD, or one of a few 512 MB SDs from various brands.

    I'm trying to connect my MacBook Pro running on OS 10.8.2 to a Linksys EA3500 router and when I go to click on the set up icon I get an "unsupported operating system". Any suggestions on what to do? The Linksys site is useless. Do I need some kind of upgrade?

    Don't use the CD software its not necessary.
    Infact put it in the trash.
    Your router will have an IP address in the range 192.168.1.1
    Connect your router to your Mac via Ethernet cable (They usually supply one with the router and don't worry which end goes where the Mac LAN socket is bi-directional)
    Also connect your router to your telephone line.
    Now open your Web browser Safari . Type in the IP address above and a Javascript control panel will launch
    Enter the default password and username (They are on a label on the router )
    Your now have the ability to set up your router.
    Your will need the password and user name supplied to you by your ISP at a minimum.
    Enter these and most modern routers automatically configure the basic networking setting.
    You now need to go to the security setting and set this as WPA2 Personal (NOT Enterprise) or WPA2 with AES and TKIP which ever it refers to and create a pass-phase. WRITE it down
    You should be online.
    Now remove the cable and connect to the Wifi and enter that passphase.

  • Does Adobe Reader for iOS have the ability to open inbedded links to additional PDF docs?  If not, then what would be the best way to use these already created PDF's?

    Does Adobe Reader for iOS have the ability to open inbedded links created with Acrobat Standard to additional PDF docs?  If not, then what would be the best way to use these already created PDF's on an I Pad?

    driddy61,
    As of June 2014, none of the Adobe Reader mobile products support the hyperlink action for opening a separate PDF document.
    Adobe Reader for iOS
    Adobe Reader for Android
    Adobe Reader Touch for Windows 8
    In addition, the Reader mobile products do not open multiple windows/documents simultaneously, which would make the navigation between PDF documents nearly impossible. (Once a hyperlink takes you to a different PDF document, you have no way to go back to the original PDF document.)
    The only Adobe Reader product that fulfills your department's requirements is Adobe Reader XI (mostly for Windows/Mac desktop/laptop computers).  Acrobat Pro and Standard are paid products.
    Because you are in search of a less expensive device for your department, you could get a Windows tablet instead of a Windows desktop/laptop computer. Microsoft Surface Pro (that you've mentioned in your previous reply) is just one example.  You can also find other less expensive Windows tablets.
    Tablets
    However, please keep in mind that there are two different types of Windows tablets running two different operating systems.
    (a) A Windows tablet with an Intel-based processor running Windows 8.1 Pro
    Example: Surface Pro 3
    You can install and run traditional desktop apps (e.g. Adobe Reader XI) and new Windows Store apps ("Modern" or "Metro-style" apps).
    (b) A Windows tablet with an ARM-based processor running Windows RT 8.1
    Example: Surface 2
    You can only install and run Windows Store apps (e.g. Adobe Reader Touch) but not traditional desktop apps like Adobe Reader XI.
    In general, type (b) tablets are more affordable than type (a) tablets.  However, if you want to run Adobe Reader XI, you do need to check the technical specification of each tablet and make sure the following conditions are met.
    Processor: Intel
    Operating system:  Windows 8/8.1 or Windows 8/8.1 Pro, not RT
    Hope this helps you choose the right device for your department.  Please let us know if you have any questions about system requirements or supported features in the Adobe Reader products.

    Ok, this may not be your problem, but I was getting this error as well.
    I had multiple services running, and I was able to use SOAP test clients and connect to them and get responses, no problem.
    I wrote some client code to connect to one, and it worked just fine.
    Then I wrote some client code to connect to the other, and I got an error like
    faultString: org.xml.sax.SAXException: Deserializing parameter 'initiateIn':  could not find deserializer for type {urn:SOAPFulfillmentAPI}DoSomething
    ...I tore my hair out trying to figure out why a service that functions perfectly using other tests would fail in java. Then I realized I was pointing to the end point URL.
    It looks like AJAX tries to deserialize the parameters before it does any of basic sanity check to see the method your looking for even exists (even in debug mode). So instead of getting a useful error like "Cant find method 'DoSomething' " you get some crap about not being able to understand the datatype for an arguement.
    I hope this helps someone one day =)

    Welcome to the community @Teekayk
    I understand you are trying to install your Deskjet 3055A on your Mac, running Mavericks. The installation CD may be compatible up to 10.6, and that could be why you are seeing the error message.
    This link should help you. It will show you how to install the printer on your Mac. There is no full driver and software available for the Deskjet 3055A on Mavericks, which basically means you will need to review your other options to scan on your Mac through Apple Updates, which is all included in the guide.

    Based on the following note in JDeveloper 11g User Guide, i have removed the property settings for selectionListener and selectedRowKeys propery value in the table where multiple selection is enabled. These proper settings are set by default as the signle row selection is table's default behaviour. Removing these property values are fixed the error.
    Note: You should not select the Row Selection checkbox, because
    when you do, JDeveloper automatically binds the
    selectionListener attribute to the makeCurrent method on the
    CollectionModel class and the selectedRowKeys attribute to the
    selectedRow property on that class. Both are designed to work only
    for single selection tables. Make sure that for any table for which you
    need multiple selection, that neither of these attributes are populated.
    Thanks

  • Importance of setting Operator ID for PS profile

    Hi Team,
    We would like to know the reason for setting an Operator Id for the delivered PS profile in HRMS system. This profile is currently used for mounting the Application and Batch Server domains. However we would like to know if there is any impact if we change the Id Type to Null for PS user profile. We do have Row level security implemented in our environment and using this profile only we have scheduled all the jobs. Please advice.
    Thanks,

    It may have impact if you are have custom/workflow application that use EMPLID to determine access (we do use it for various testing) by employees.
    Therefore, we always link the HRIS manager emplid to PS so that she has access to the app. or getting email.
    Otherwise, I don't see any problem in not linking ID type to PS.

  • Consumer endpoints and remote operations/input message types formation

    Hello,
    Couple of questions;
    1) In case of a BC, a consumer endpoint (i.e. a proxy for an external consumer) doesn't need to be activated with the NMR -- is this understanding correct?
    2) Moreover, as the SU for this component defines a "consumes" element in the jbi.xml , but the operation is not specified in the jbi.xml (but will be specified, in a configurtion artifact that goes inside the SU, as I understand).
    Now, how would the BC dynamically form an NMR message that conforms to the operation input message type of the service it's consuming ? The BC will know about the remote operation and it's input message type only upon SU deployment..
    Hope I am articulating my question clearly..

    A binding component (BC), when dealing with a newly received request message from an external service consumer, must map the message to a particular service and operation (as defined by JBI's WSDL-based services model). How this mapping is performed depends on the nature of the protocol the BC handles, as well as the implementation of the BC.
    To answer your specific questions:
    1. Only provided services are activated, by the provider. Consumers (including a BC acting as a proxy for an external consumer) need only discover the service (at design- or run-time) in order to use it.
    2. The SU jbi.xml exists to help design tools which wish to recompose service assemblies. The "consumes" element gives tooling information about static service dependencies of the SU. (This avoids requiring that the tooling have deep knowledge of the contents of the SU itself -- composition can be done using any SUs, regardless of how they were created.)
    Recomposition of a service assembly is accomplished by matching service types, not individual operations.
    3. The BC can create a NormalizedMessage (and a MessageExchange the will hold it) using three sources of information:
    - The message from the external consumer
    - BC configuration information (from SUs deployed to it)
    - Service metadata (WSDL), as published by the service provider.
    Note that in some protocols the message from the external consumer is not sufficient to determine which service and operation are required. In such cases so-called trading-partner data are needed, as part of the BC's configuration data (from SU deployments), to map an inbound request message to the service and operation needed.
    So, to answer your final question (and hopefully I understand it correctly), in general the BC needs to be configured to create the external endpoint to which the external consumer can send messages. Depending on the nature of the BC, it may also need additional data about mapping messages to JBI's service-and-operation model of services. Dynamic mapping is certainly supported.
    In typical binding components, the BC only "learns" of a new external endpoint that it must expose when a service unit is deployed to it. However, JBI does not restrict BC's to only using this mechanism. A BC could use a different mechanism, but this in general complicates administration and component portability.
    Does that answer your questions?

  • Unsupported Operating System

    Hi. I have finally moved from an iphone to a blackberry. I have a MAC with OS X 10.5.5
    I have downloaded the Blackberry Desktop Software and everytime I want to download an application it comes up with the following message:
    Unsupported Operating System
    You are using an unsupported operating system, some functionality will be disabled.
    I have tried to uninstall and reinstall and it still comes up with this error.
    Please help me ..... I dearly want to use this phone.....
    Thanks in advance

    I've got the same issue with this, the non-availability of the older software for those of us not running the very latest Mac OS. Anybody know where you can get it from? So far I've been working around this by just connecting my BB with the USB cable or by Bluetooth and transferring files as if it were another disc connected to the computer, but I'd prefer to be able to do it more easily... I did pay for the privilege after all, come on RIM, sort it out!!!!

  • Using fingeprint reader for web authentication

    Hi all,
    I am using Windows 8.1 on T530 with fingerprint reader for Windows authentication.
    I would like to use the finger type authentication for accessing other programs and web sites (e.g. Sharepoint locations, web mail etc.), but I am unable to figure out how to do it.
    This feature was possible on Lenovo B type laptops with Windows 7, but this 8.1 and T530 is a little bit harder to figure out.
    Thank you!

    This is well and good.  It does create issues for some
    There are those us us that need reader to default to the browser when selecting a link on the Internet.  Lots of software companies use browser based Acrobat plugins.  This causes the browser plugin need to be the default setting.  This forces the user to save the file locally and then reopen the file into the OS version of reader.
    To me this creates a catch 22 with the current decision causing significant friction for the users needing to use reader extensions.  Making something harder to use is a nail in a software coffin.  Someone else will remain willing to work with the browser manufactures to keep this functionality operational or offer an alternative.  I cannot think someone will offer this ability with PDF's somehow considering companies like the Industry standard for insurance companies like acord have adopted an Adobe XML approach.  On line forms are as critical today and if not Adobe someone will fill the nitch being exited by Adobe.
    My two cents.
    If there is a place to forward these type of customer feedback please send it along
