Unwanted top margins in menu items

Muse adding unwanted top margins in a block displayed ULs (menu). each menu item getting a random top margin. How do i fix this issue?

You can follow these links to get the result that you want. You can get the desired result either using the custom list or a site map. Please make sure when you edit the master page, dont work on the original v4.master. Always make a a copy and then work
on it.

Unwanted corner radius in menu items

I have eliminated corner radiuses on my main menu items. So why am I still getting corner radiuses, mostly just on the left side of each menu item?

And also why is there now (since latest Muse upgrade) an unwanted stroke around bottom-of-page menu items?
An answer would be greatly appreciated.

The first issue is solved. I guess once I relaunched Safari, the corner radiuses were gone. But the second issue - stroked boxes around the supplemental menu items - persists. I just want those menu items text only.
BTW, the stroke does not show in Muse Design and Preview - On Master pages, stroke is set at 0 and no color.

Top level Contextual Menu Items

Hi!
I installed OnMyCommand which works well but I was wondering if anyone knew if it were possible to move the commands you create so they are on the top level of the right click finder context menu (rather than having to go to "more" then to my OnMyCommand).

Yes, if you open the command editor, OMCEdit, you will see a list of your installed commands in the sidebar. Click on the command you'd like to move and choose the level in the "Location" field.

A top level menu item should display its active state if any of its submenu items are active

Example case: I'm designing a Muse site which is basically a portfolio of our work. We design books, doing page layout and covers. We have numerous book categories and sub categories which I put in a horizontal menu. When a given top level category menu item doesn't have a submenu, it is a hyperlink and it displays active state when the browser displays its linked page. But when a given page is displayed from a submenu link, its top level menu item does NOT display active state. I think it should.
For example, we have a "Nostalgia" category which has "Film" and "TV" subcategories. Because the menu item, "Nostalgia" has a submenu containing "Film" and "TV", the label "Nostalgia" is not a hyperlink. The submenu attached to it has the two hyperlinked items "Film" and "TV". When the browser is displaying either linked page, the submenu is hidden. So it would be nice if the top level item, "Nostalgia" would display in an active state.

As of now this feature is not there in Adobe Muse.

"Top TV Shows" menu..

About two days ago, I was able to access Top TV Shows from iTunes Store. But now, the Top TV Shows menu item disappeared. Anyone having this problem?

I can't be sure but I think this might be a temporary problem at apples end. Trailers and top tens both come over the internet but from different sources, it could well be related to yesterdays problems.

Unwanted space under menu item

When hovering over a menu item, the item turns red. However, you can still see a little bit of the yellow background along the bottom. Can anyone tell me what I need to fix to get the red box to fill the space? Thanks.

Looks like it was just a minor bit of extra coding. Remove the line height here. Seems to fix it for me.

I want to get rid of the Bing screen but there is no "menu at the top of the Firefox window" for me to "select Tools and then select the Add-ons menu item. "

I suddenly have a "Bing" screen when I sign onto Firefox---and I want to get rid of it. The support section of Firefox says
1. "From the menu at the top of the Firefox window, seledt Tools and then select the Add-ons menu item."---but I see no "menu item" nor Tools, much less Add-ons.
2. "In the Add-ons window, click on the Extensions panel."---but how do I find the Add-ons window?
3. Find the Bing Bar and Search Helper Extension in the list and click Disable for each of them."---but what and where exactly is that?
At the top of the screen is only a Yahoo icon on the left and to the right of it a search box, "Web Search,", "My Apps," Yellow Pages," "Weather," "Updates," and "Skype." to the right of those there is a green cross saying "Add more apps. to your toolbar" and to the right of that a sort of gear shift looking icon saying "toobar settings."
So, in short, how do I get rid of the Bing screen and how do I access those Tools?

Click on the Menu bar and go to View . Or, hover over where the Menu bar shiuld be and click on it when it appears. Try quitting and relaunching Finder.

I have a horizontal Spry menu bar. How to add a vertical stroke between menu top items?
BUT NOT outermost left and outermost right. Only to BETWEEN top menu items.

How to have some top level menu items not be hyperlinks

I have a navigation band where 5 of the 6 top level items need to NOT be hyperlinks but simply "category titles" that you mouseover to display the submenu - which are the links to web pages.
An example of this is on the Amazon.com home page - the items under "Shop All Departments" has categories that are not clickable, but when you mouseover display the clickable submenu.
Is it possible to customize some but not all of the top menu items and how?
What do I need to modify in the CSS so that the top "category title" looks/behave the submenu (same font color/bgcolor changes) but no active hyperlink?

Here is a link to my pagewhere I am testing the navigation. Currently there is only this one page and I have <a href="#"> for the links.
The only menu item that should be clickable in the top level is "Contact"
Everything in the second and third level (Events > Research >...) needs to be clickable
Everything is working as I want except that "Research" needs to be clickable
- and I would like to have the clickable item text be underline when in the hover state but I want to get the base navigation working first
The closest matching code I found in the CSS is:

Top navigation menu items should open in new tab

In a share point 2013 site, i have created top navigation using term set from managed meta data. some of the menu items navigate the user with in the site whereas some other menu items will navigate to the external sites. My requirement is I want to open
external links in new tab and internal links in same tab itself.

Assuming that internal URL are relative and external urls are absolute, you can use a jQuery script to add target="_blank" attribute to the links.

I accidently knocked some keys on the keyboard and firfox is now lost at the top of the screen, I cannot see menu items if I push the curser up some of the top appears on my screen but not all please can you help me?

I accidently knocked some keys on my keyboard. I do not know which keys my hand knocked but it caused Firefox to go beyond my visible screen at the top. The base of Firefox is still okay and views correctly. But the head is missing I cannot access my menus items such as Bookmarks etc. The screen does drop down if I push my curser up but not enough to show the menu items. Can you please help?

How do I make top menu item unclickable but drop downs are clickable?

I have drop down menu with the top menu item titled "Renderings" and the drop down from that are serveral types of renderings. I don't want the viewer to be taken to a page called "Renderings" when they click that, but I do what them to choose one of the drop down items. How can I make the top most menu item "Renderings" non-clickable? Thank you!

Right mouse click on the top level page in your plan view and then mark it as 'Include Without Hyperlink'
