Update once only.
Hi,
Can someone pls kindly advises me on how can i make the executeUpdate to update my data once only, that is, after it updated a row it should not execute again (exit from it)?
By the way, i am using Excel as database and SDK1.3.1.

Please follow basic Netiquette and post the DDL we need to answer this. Do you know how to follow industry and ANSI/ISO standards? You should follow ISO-11179 rules for naming data elements. You hjave noi idea what that means. Avoid dialect in favor of
ANSI/ISO Standard SQL.
There is no such attribute as a “change_type_id” in RDBMS. You can have a “<something>_id” “<something>_type” but not a weird mix of attribute proprieties. Likewise, “state_id” makes no sense. If you meant a status, then you need two dates to show
when that state of being applied to the entity.
To track the history of, say, Foobars we need to see time as a continuum and model it as (begin_date, end_date) pairs that define when a foobar had a particular value. Here is the skeleton.

What you did post is awful. Why did you append “->Destroyed” to an identifier? This is redundant AND destroys the integrity of the original encoding. Why do you use a local temp table? This mimics a 1950's scratch tape and no SQL programmer would use
it. Why would a note repeat another column?

Is it possible to update QT 7 to higher version? I ran the update once and all the Pro features were disabled with the message: Your Reg Key is for QT Version 7 only. I uninstalled the new QT version, and reinstalled the old QT 7 but the Pro functions were still unavailable, so , I had to reinstal Windows to get my Pro functions back. This happened quite a while ago, but every time I get the "Update" message, I am afraid to launch it.
All I can say is that the problem you experienced is not by design but was instead some sort of technical fault, either in QuickTime or in Windows. I've upgraded QuickTime for Windows a number of times, to various new versions of QuickTime 7, and it's never removed my Pro key. My guess, and this is strictly a guess, is that something corrupted the preference file where the Pro key is held, disabling the Pro features and not allowing you to re-enter your key. Since you reinstalled Windows, I would expect that future updates to QuickTime will go without problem, and if for some reason the Pro features are ever removed, re-entering your Pro key should get them back.

There is a report for retrieving the line item level data from inv1, user would also like to add a column to display the Document total , but the problem is, each line item will also display the Document total, any method to only display the corresponding Document total for once only?

While in MY MUSIC on itunes, all my music is unchecked. I can not check whole playlists by using the top checkmark to select all. I went to all my playlists, same thing. I can only press them ONE at a time, which will take about a day to check all of them.
any ideas? anyone have same problem? This just happened since last update.I exactly have the same problem as this "Unable to check mark whole playlists to play since last update. ONly allows me to check one at a time. How do I fix?" I have a windows7. Please help.

I have a MacBook 5,1 (13.3" aluminum from 2007 or 2008). Automatic updates will only let me get to OSX 10.5.8. Can I upgrade to Snow Leopard, Lion 10.6 or even 10.6.8? Also, will I have any issues with my iPhone if it's updated to iOS 7.1?

You can upgrade direct from 10.6.8 to 10.8 Mountain Lion without going through 10.7 Lion with the Late 2008 model 5,1 Aluminum Unibody. The Model 5,1 will probably run 10.9 Mavricks when it comes out.
10.8 Mountain Lion is a download from the App Store, the price is $19.99.
Mountain Lion will require at least 2gb of RAM but really needs 4gb to run smoothly.

Also Mountain Lion doesn't run any Power PC programs. To see if you have any Power PC programs go to the Apple in the upper left corner and select About This Mac, then click on More Info. When System Profiler comes up select Applications under Software. Then look under Kind to see if any of your applications are listed as Power PC. Universal and Intel will run under Mountain Lion.
Before Mac switched to Intel processors in 2006 they used Power PC processors from 1994 to 2005. Power PC 601 through 604, G3, G4 and G5. Applications written for the Power PC processors need the application called Rosetta to run on Intel processors. This was part of the Operating System in 10.4 and 10.5 but was an optional install in 10.6. With 10.7 Lion Apple dropped all support for Power PC applications. -
"The file 'iTunes Library.itl' cannot be read because it was created by a newer version of iTunes." Updates were only offered by Apple when I'd open iTunes. Now I can't open iTunes. How can I access the newest iTunes as an update, not a new program?
this just started w/ me yesterday. I was running 10.5.3, and nothing changed - the message just appeard out of nowhere. I update to the latest iTunes 10.6 but the message is the same.
Sounds like probably some sort of Library file corruption.
The two options available in the message box are "Download" and "Quit". Download is useless because I'm already running the latest. Quit is pretty useless.
I was going to just create a new Library and re-import all my music. Of course, all my iPhone sync settings are going go have to be recreated. -
I did an update and only only the music purchased from itunes store is there all the cds I burned to it are gone. Tried syncing ipod but it says it will wipe all content. How do I get all my music back. gone from over 6000 songs to 250?

Some computers download and install the two approved updates, others only download Windows Update Agent and not the approved updates.

Message Queuing and Once Only Delivery Question
Okay... not looking for too detailed information as you'll lose me. Was hoping someone could clear something up for me. In the Websphere world Websphere uses MQ as it's queuing mechanism internally to guarantee once-only delivery of messages. Now I know XI can integrate with MQ (or other messaging systems, JMS,etc...)but certainly XI guarantees once-only delivery without any of those components. My question is is XI's "queuing" mechanism proprietary or can, for instance, an external system somehow "put" or "get" information to/from that "queue"?

As far as my knowledge goes, I don't think external system can use the queuing mechanism of XI.

Update rules only for the keys of a DSO
Hi everybody,
We have a problem after our recent migration to BI 7.0.
In a transfer rule, the 0RECORDMODE is set to 'D' and in the update rules only the keys of the DSO are mapped. It's just for a deletion of data in the DSO.
In BW 3.5, everything was fine but now it doesn't work anymore. Data are transfered but not inserted in the DSO.
I've tried to affect a constant to a characteristic which is not a key in the update rules and the data are correctly inserted.
Is it a normal comportment ?
Any idea is welcome.

I've tried both my apple ID and my wife's but I get an error with both saying the software was purchased with a different ID. I have no idea what ID that would be. Is there anyway to check the ID the software is licensed to?

I have a MacBook 5,1 (13.3" aluminum from 2007 or 2008). Automatic updates will only let me get to OSX 10.5.8. Can I upgrade to Snow Leopard, Lion, or Mountain Lion (to improve speed)? I'm willing to purchase if necessary and it really helps.
