Update photo/badge in game center

How can i properly update my photo/badge through Game Center in my Ipad?
I'm an Asphalt 8 Airborne player
Usually the badge is simple and updates automatically, but i've been trying to use a photo and when i change it it never uptdates.
Would someone help me with this?

Hi,
I had the same problem and I went to the apple store to get it fixed. But the person fixing it had the excact same problem. So we restored it, and it worked. When I got home, it didn't. I can't explain why and I doubt anyone else can. So do what I do, wait for the next iOS update and hope for the best.

You can change the account by tapping or clicking Account and then signing out of the current account and into the correct one. However, you can't merge Apple ID's, & each Apple ID will have its own scores, achievements, etc.

hello , well after i upgrade to 8.1 and everything seems to be OK
but when i tried to login to the game center it refused and said something about not connecting to the server then i try to login from the settings section so i got this error msg ( cocoa error 4097 )

Why with the last update does the stupid GAMES CENTER always pop up when I want to open a locally stored game? It is really annoying. I click on 'disable' and it just 'disables' it for that session only.

I share your frustration. Maybe there are more people that really hate what game center has become. Here's my problem: Ok, so when I open the Game Center app it asks me for my password to log in. But when (while "signed out" of Game Center) I open an app (game app) it automatically signs me in without me even putting in a password. So, if I go directly to the Game Center app, I have to use my password to sign in. If I open a game app, I don't need to use my password...I'm signed in without any verification. I now can close the game app, open the Game Center app and BAM!!! I'm signed in, password free. I have searched for a solution to this nonsense of two days. I have tried changing my Game Center ID four times and every time it says, "Welcome back '&&@&!'!" Apple has every freaking app of theirs listed in the support communities but the Game Center app. Why? I am an adult that likes to relax and spend 30 minutes or so playing a game. I could give two flying $&@&s what I the other guy or a 4 year old did yesterday. I want a solution to delete completely or disable this tracking crapware. And the whole signing me in without me giving a password smells really fishy. I bet we will see a lawsuit really soon even if this is fixed. Definitely a security issue at the minimum.

My iTunes Game Center won't load after update 7.1

After loading update 7.1.1 Game Center will not load. I have tired resetting with home and power also through general setting and nothing.

As Texas Mac Man wrote in another post, the problem was fixed by repeated shut down of the iPad till GC started to work properly.

How can I use the Messaging App & Game Center when both my wife and I are using same apple ID on our ipads?

When I try to set up my wife's messages app, it tells me the apple ID is already in use and won't let me go through with it. Also, after the IOS5 update, my wife's game center login went away and syncs to mine and we cant figure out how to get it back to hers.

You will need to create a new Apple ID for your wife. This may require a new email address too. As for Game Center, there is a sign out dialogue on the main page if you tapon your ID.

I know in the settings and under restrictions you can lock out friends requests, not sure if it's only receiving or receiving and sending, but can see if it's been disabled.

TS1702 I've done recent iOS update on IPad (2nd gen) and now game center will not open. and when I attempt to contact support it tells me that I need current safari browser, yet when I plug in it tells me all is up to date????????

I have synced 4 times and turned IPad on and off several times. when I try to connect to Apple support it tells me that i must have current safari browser. Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...
Wait for the Apple logo to Appear...
Usually takes about 15 - 20 Seconds... ( But can take Longer...)
Release the Buttons...
If no joy... Try a Restore...

Game Center crashes after ios 7.1 update

I just updated to ios 7.1 last night.
I click on Game Center and I can see my profile but if I click on "Friends", "Games", "Challenges", etc on the bottom menu my screen goes white.
I stay on the screen for a long time but it does not load or resolve.
Please help.

So I found a way to fix mine.
Go to settings and Game Center.
Log out from Game center.
Do a soft reset: Hold power and home button until you see the apple logo.
When iPad comes back on, go back to settings and log into game center again
Go to game center and hopefully it works.

Game center bugs, lockups and not updating friend details

With the new ios7 game center I have found a couple of issues.
Firstly, it does not seem to update the name of my friends when they chnage theirs. It keeps showing their old name. Why is it not updating the credentials?
Even more seriously, there are 2 ways of getting the application stuck, at least on the ipad. The iphone seems not to suffer from the automatic jumping described below.
At the bottom, select the "Friends" tab. Select the "Points" view, which includes yourself (Me) in the list of friends,
Select yourself (Me) in that list, and you'll notice the app will jump back to the first tab "Me".
Try to move back to the Friends tab, it will immedeately jump back to the "Me" tab. You'll have to kill the app to see your friends again.
Similar method, but worse: At the bottom, select the "Friends" tab. Select the "Points" view, which includes yourself (Me) in the list of friends,
Don't select anyone yet but move to the "Games" tab and then back to the "Friends" tab. This will autoselect the player "Me" and you'll notice the tab also jumps to "Me" but the "Friends" tab view stays, and actually the whole app is now stuck.

Game Center is blank screen after iOS 7.06 update.

I installed the new security update on my iPad, and now Game Center is just a blank screen. In Settings, the app info screen is also blank, with the little spinner going. Because Game Center nips broken, I can't log into my favorite games. Can anyone help? Did this happen to anyone else?

I'd recommend signing out of Game Center, force closing any open apps, then restarting your iPad.
You can sign out of Game Center at the following location:
iOS: Tap Settings > Game Center.
OS X: Click your Game Center account on the Me pane, and then View Account.

After 6.1.2 update Game Center says "not allowed to sign in on this device"

I just downloaded the 6.1.2 IOS update for my 4th gen Ipod touch, which caused a couple of my games to start over. To resume progress, I attempted to log into Game Center, but it keeps telling me that "you are not allowed to sign in on this device". I have done multiple searches online and reset my password, etc, but I can find no solution to this - when the error come up, it gives me the option to cancel or go to settings. I have tried changing some of the settings, but I am unclear what setting would cause this to happen. I would be very appreciative if someone could help me out!

Yes, it is the same with me. I know a friend how upgraded to iso7 and lost all of his game center data. He tried singning in and re singning in but no change. Plus on to of all of this, apple is like have me and him to re-validate our itunes acount. Somthing weried is going on. So verified my itunes acount and it shows under settings that I am signed in, but when I go to the app store on my iPhone and try downloading or even updating a app, it says "can not conect to itunes store" after singing in! AND I'M NOT SURE I AM GOING TO UPGRADE TO ISO7 YET UNTILL THEY FIX THIS BUG!!!! HELP!
