Update value for XABLN in LIKP table

Hi ,
Is there any way to update the LIKP-XABLN filed yhrough BAPI?
I tried with this FM BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_CHANGE , but could not succeed.

Hi,
I need to update LIKP-XABLN field from a Smart Form driver program programaticaly only when the Form is successfully printed.
I dint find any BAPI / Std Function Module which does the update.
I dont know how MB_XAB_NUMBER_GET works to update the XABLN field?

make this event work only if the previous column is filled okay.
the display will be in display mode on the screen as screen-input = 0.
see that in the table control u can get the table field for all the rows even though you are processing on some fields .
so what u do is make that particular filed masked(no i/p field and populate the field that will be better instead of populating all the columns okay.

Above mentioned that when the values are entered in the customised fields they are not updating in the to the table mara.
so, the program name and screen number which you are configuring in the spro, in that program name and in that screen number code it as below:
(you could find the field statements in that screen for the standard fields like FIELD MARA-MEINS.)
for example:
PROCESS BEFORE OUTPUT.
PROCESS AFTER INPUT.
FIELD MARA-zzfieldname.

Updating values with in the same table for other records matching conditions

I have a requirement where i need to update the columns of a table based on values of the same table with some empid and date match. If the date and empid match then i have take these values from other record and update the one which is not having office details. I need the update query

I do not have time to create the table with data but basically you should be able to code the following
update table a
set office = ( select office from table b where b.emp_id = a.emp_id
                                                             and     b.start_date = a.start_date

where exists ( [same query as in set] )
and a.office is null
I believe that will do the trick.

Update values for additional (new) keyfield in database table

Hi All,
Here in our firm we have a Z table with data in it. As part of the new requirement I had to add a new key field in it.
Now I have to maintain values for these key fields in the already existing data.
I cannot maintain it though SM30 as the maintenance view grays that field in SM30.
Is there any way of updating this new key field data in database.

thank you for this information. Up to now, I thougth, that it is impossible to update the primary key. I've checked it in our system and it works. But it seems, that you have to use the "update set" to update a field of the primary key - am I correct?

Then I've tried the following coding:

How to update values for qty n batch in mska table

Hi experts,
i would lke to know is it possible that we can update value of availabity of stock which is existing batch wise in MSKA table field 'kalab' (qty) n charg (batch).
i mean we have devided material per document number into batch a b c.
suposse
we have '20015' material
for doc1 (vbeln) -- A qty 5
B qty 5
C qty 0
for doc2 (vbeln) A qty 2
C qty 5
B qty 0
But after delivery we want to change the distribution of stock material like .
for doc1 A qty 2
B qty 3
C qty 5
and for doc2 A qty 5
B qty 2
C qty 0
i create one programe and check the availabity in mska table n give input field to reorder the batch n quantity but how should i send these values in mska table so that sap will show the correct availabity of stock batch wise.
if somebody did it before. through ur input please .

Seems it is not WD related Question.
You are updating two tables here, but not updating in Database. check two tables how they are related.
and mysuggestion is try to update thease two tables by using code in se38. you will get where the problem is.

you can also acheive this using MERGE( available in sql 2008 and above).
also, you are referring to DTS. DTS is legacy solution now..are you using sql 2000, you can use ssis, if you want and it available in sql 2005. as said, there are multiple ways you can do this.. it find the below one a easy solution, since your are
talking about only one table..

ADF Updating bindings for filtered rows in table

I have an ADF UIX table with say 10 rows each row having 8 fields. 2 of these are editable. So 6 fields use uix.current.fieldname and 2 editable use bindings.fieldname.
I have a drop down list on top of the table. Selecting an option fires an event which sets parameters in the view and filters the table and reduces the rows say to 4.
The table is now showing correct values for the non editable fields. But the editable fields are not showing the correct value. They show the older first four rows values.
How do I update the bindings when I reexecute the view for filtering the rows?

There is absolutly no reason to use PL/SQL (e.g. nested cursors, logic etc.) use MERGE

you can explicitly mention domain range as value table for the fields in the database table.
Also the search help can be maintained for the fields in SE11 transcation where the value table can be specified.

The project server workflows were running fine on my servers (2 App and 2 WFE). suddenly workflows are not working anymore.

I was able to resolve my issue by installing KB2880963. I did not have any of the other updates mentioned installed, but it did resolve the issue.
Note: I did need to restart my servers.

Using Calc Manager to update values for Members with Text Data Type

Hi All,
In my outline I have a member of text data type. The purpose is to allow users to be able to enter comments.
Each line item is created through a business rule and I am prompting the user to enter the key values at the launch of the calc manager rules. I want to be able to prompt the user for the comments in the calc manager rule because I know that it supports variables of type string. However I am unable to assign this string variable directly to the member.
I appreciate that essbase only stores numeric data and that all text data type members really store numeric values which are basically the id's of the text string stored in a relational table by planning. however I cannot update the database table through calc manager and then bring in the generated id. Is there any way I can do this?
I don't want to skip this field in the calc manager rule and expect the user to enter the comments AFTER the line item has been created because the users want this to be a mandatory field and insist that a new line item not be created unless comments are specified.

Default value for first row in table after row has rendered

I have a master-detail type page where the first row in the detail table appears with no values when the page first renders. After the user enters some data in the master area, the default value is available. I then use something like this to set the default in one column of the first row:
MyVOImpl vo = (MyVOImpl)am.getMyVO1();
MyRowImpl voRow = (MyRowImpl)vo.first();
voRow.setMyAttribute("some value");
When I do this and run the code in the debugger, I can see that the default value is stored somewhere in the row object. However, the value is not displayed in the screen.
What must I do to get the default value to display after the user has tabbed out of the master data area, and before the user attempts to enter data in the row?

I have a table that stores several measures for each day. I need two queries against this table and I am not quite sure how to write them.
The table stores these lines (sample data)

Onblur get values for form field from table.

Hello,
I created one from with report for TableA.TableA has 5 column. Now after i enter first field ,on blur, i want 2 other fields should get populated.They should get the 2 values from TableB.Table A and Table B are connected through primary key foreigh key constraint.First field is primary key of TableA.
How can i do this.I am writing a javascript function which i am calling from first form field.
But in the function how to take values from the table for the other 2 fields.
Can i just Select statements inside javascript function?

BO-how do we get unique summerised value for both graph and table

When we add the column it shows 15 but when we create a graph with the same column and week no column it is taking distinct value resulting 7 as sum please let me know if there is any option to remove distinct values.
