Workflow Manager with Project Server error Exception Starting Workflow: The value for column _WORKFLOW_INSTANCE_UID_ in table _WorkflowInstance_ is DBNull
Hello,
The project server workflows were running fine on my servers (2 App and 2 WFE). suddenly workflows are not working anymore.
and I am getting the below error:
DBNull.. Trace: at Microsoft.Office.Project.Server.Schema.WorkflowDataSet.WorkflowInstanceRow.get_WORKFLOW_INSTANCE_UID() at Microsoft.Office.Project.Server.BusinessLayer.Workflow.StartWorkflow(Guid projectGuid, Guid enterpriseProjectTypeUid, Boolean

I checked all DBs; all running fine. Also I tried to re-register the workflow with my site collection. but nothing worked.
Any suggestions?

I was able to resolve my issue by installing KB2880963. I did not have any of the other updates mentioned installed, but it did resolve the issue.
Note: I did need to restart my servers.

Exception starting workflow while creating new project
We created a new SharePoint Designer based workflow and published it to Project Online.
Later we created new EPT and associated the above mentioned workflow to it.
Now whenever we tried creating a new project based on this EPT, it fails with an error as mentioned below:
"Your new EPT has been created successfully, but failed to publish and will not be listed in the Project Error".
Looking at the queue jobs, I see below errors. Does anyone how to solve this issue?

SharePoint 2010 Search Error: "Internal server error exception"
Hi,
We have a SharePoint 2010 Farm with 5 servers:
1 SQL Server Cluster
2 WFE
1 Index Server
1 Search Server
Please see bellow a more detailed specification. Our DNS is using a Load Balancer
It turns out that when it uses one WFE (SERVWFE05) it throws this error:
SharePoint 2010 Search Error: "Internal server error exception"
when it uses the other one (SERVWFE06) it works.
What can be wrong?

The point is that over TCPIP the MQ XA connection factory is not available.
The MQ shared memory/JNI driver is required to access it, which limits
access to those processes that are on the same box as the MQ q manager.
This is an MQ series limitation.

Workflow Manager Cumulative Update (February) error
Hi,
I've downloaded and installed
Workflow Manager 1.0 Cumulative Update and
Service Bus 1.0 Cumulative Update. But after installing the updates, I can't access the Library workflow settings page. I'm getting unexpected error. Then after investigating the workflow manager log in event viewer, I've found the following error messages:
The asynchronous operation has completed with an exception. Exception message is: System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException (0x80131904): The EXECUTE permission was denied on the object 'InsertTrackingAndStatus', database 'DEV_WFInstanceManagementDB', schema 'dbo'.

The issue I've found in my Dev environment with Windows Server 2008 R2 SP 1. This is standalone SharePoint farm with DC, SQL Server and SharePoint all installed in the same server. One workaround I have found that if I add the WF user as dbo to the database
as well as 'WFServiceOperators' then the error disappear.
Thanks,
Sohel Rana
http://ranaictiu-technicalblog.blogspot.comI ran the provided SQL script on our Workflow Manager databases. I commented out the EXEC line and added a 'PRINT @Cmd'. This allowed me to view the actual commands the script would execute. These commands were generated:

I ran the script against both 'WFInstanceManagementDB' and 'WFResourceManagementDB'. I also ran it against 'WFManagementDB', but the script didn't generate any GRANT commands for that database.
So I enabled the EXEC command and reran the script against both databases. Almost immediately I could see a drop in CPU utilization on our workflow server. Also the errors disappeared from the Event Log. To be safe I also rebooted the server.
This seems to have fixed our problem. I'd still like to have an official KB article or update for this problem, though. -

How to handle PSW approval task in project server 2013 through declarative workflow VS 2013
Hello,
Plz explain in detail handling PSW approval task in project server 2013 through declarative workflow VS 2013
bcoz when using am posted on with this error when i try to approve the item
"This list item has not been created by the workflow.you cannot apply this content type"
any help would be appreciated!!!!
Thanks regards, Vignesh.I am also experiencing issues with this. After the approval task is completed, the Workflow gets cancelled with the following message
RequestorId: 60d96368-4cb4-b059-8086-604972a92e60. Details: System.Collections.Generic.KeyNotFoundException: The given key was not present in the dictionary. at Microsoft.Activities.Hosting.Runtime.Subroutine.SubroutineChild.Execute(CodeActivityContext context)
at System.Activities.CodeActivity.InternalExecute(ActivityInstance instance, ActivityExecutor executor, BookmarkManager bookmarkManager) at System.Activities.Runtime.ActivityExecutor.ExecuteActivityWorkItem.ExecuteBody(ActivityExecutor executor, BookmarkManager
bookmarkManager, Location resultLocation)
All other desired workflow actions work as expected. Emails are sent, project is moved from stage to stage, however as soon as the workflow approval task is completed, either Approved or Rejected, the Internal Status is changed to Canceled and the
workflow fails.
What is interesting is when the Approval task is completed, the approver will receive an email notification that the task was CANCELLED or DELETED....
not COMPLETED, which is what would be expected.
Has anyone seen this - any potential resolution? -

The server returned the error: Mail was unable to log in to the IMAP server “p02-imap.mail.me.com” using “Password” authentication. Verify that your account settings are correct.
The server returned the error: Service temporarily unavailableAlso if I go to system preferences accounts and re-enter the password it fixes the glitch sometimes.

I have a problem syncing iCal on my Macbook air (10.7.5) and my iPhone 4s (5.1.1) over iCloud. The following server error message comes up "The request (CalDAVAccountRefreshQueueableOperation) for account “iCloud” failed." Been to Apple Store - no luck instore, or with Super genius over the phone when with genius in store, taking data in real time via ethernet!
I had to do a full wipe of my system because of time machine back up issues 2 weeks ago, and the error has only occured at some point since then. I only did a drag and drop of my user account folders/files into an External HDD rather than a copy of my user account (advised by the staff in store at Apple to do this) and when reimported, the Mail folders are all present but each message is in a sub-sub-sub folder that is numerically named. I do not have a mirror image of the hard disk prior to the wipe, only a time machine back up from 2 weeks prior to it being done. I am uncertain if this reinstall has caused the issue.
I am not happy to upgrade the software in my iPhone until I have the calendars working. I have purchased Mountain Lion, but again am concerned about upgrading until the issues are sorted.
I have tried the other solutions on here with no luck. HELP please.
Many Thanks.Progress Update.
I made a back of what existing phtos and Videos I had on my Iplhone. I used Image capture to do this making an entire back up of photos and videoa that were still intact on the phone.
Image capture is god for this purpose, as it does exactly what you ask it to do without applying any rules or squishing the files back into iphote (which might also be corupted)
Image capture wil do the basic function of retriving the contents of the phone and save them as native files on your hard drive.
Once I did this I erased my iphone, and re intitialised it restoring an older back up from icloud.
As the retore was happneing - I did retreive the missing files that cuased the intial beviour as above, and I could play the videos that were missing in the above scenerio. The wierd ting was however that even though the source files were now back on the device, the thumbnail previews were missing. Where I ahd balck thumb nails for server portions of the resotred content.
I then went to bed as the restore is a long process. When I woke up the library had library had cleaned itself up. Mysteriously the prcess had deleted the files missing the their thumbnails.
This is very perculiar and bad behavior.
I am now repeating the process, and will attempt to download the missing content as it is restored and prior to the phone trying to fix itself.
Here are the lessons learned.
DO NOT rely on Photo Stream to keep back ups and synchornise videos from you IOS device. IT DOES NOT SUPPORT THIS CAPBILITY
DO NOT rely on iCloud Back Up alone - always fd an occassional iTunes back up or more reliably still always take a back up of photos and video files using Image Capture to be doubly sure that you a have backd up any content.
DO THIS NOW - dont wait to loose your phone ofr have your phone repaired by replacement at the apple Store. (I did both :-(
