Update with DTW

Hello to all
i have made some pricelists and i have assigned p rices to the items.
the requirement now is to update the prices of some of the items
how can i do it because by using the DTW with Update existing or Import new it displays that the itemcode .... already exists

You have been given the idea how this DTW work.
To update existing price by DTW, you need to find out the pricelist number and put Linenum=pricelist number -1.

The Reason of the error:

By SDK help, the Source table of SalesOpportunities Object is OOPR, and SalesOpportunitiesLines is OPR1.
In B1 application Sales Opportunity form, you could check which field need to set for OOPR and OPR1, you could refer to SDK help file also.

Updating of User Queries with DTW

Hi,
I am creating a new database for a customer, which should be a mirror of a previous installation. I imported the queries and formatted searches etc. with DTW but somehow ended up with a " at the start and end of some queries - mostly in the case where the excel field was limit to 250 characters.
I am now trying to update these queries as they are not working with note pad but getting the following error in DTW - Can not find this object in B1 Application-defined or object defined erroroUserQueries.
I also tried removing the queries from the formatted searches with DTW to remove them manually but getting the method error when trying to use / delete the queryid.
Oh, and getting the error another user modified this table when trying to remove the " from the query and save again using the same name.
Any ideas???

If u want query format to transfer in new database...use Copy express tool.
Copy express will transfer that data very easy ....
Basically this tool is useful for user modification in old database ..it will transfer user setting in new database.

Sales order - update line status to close the document with DTW

Hi everybody,
yesterday i tried to update the line status of sales order lines from "O" to "C" with DTW. At first he ask me for DocRate. Then set DocRate to "1". After then DTW wrote, that I can't update the lines, during update the document... Can someone help me..., maybe with an example for DTW.

Welcome To SAP Community Network Forum
Sales Order line status close that means for particular line Item Quantity Delivered through Delivery document and sales order line status open to close.
OR
You have to manually close Sales Order line status without delivered Quantity.
Check in your case Item Quantity are to be delivered through Delivery document. Right click on line & check Target document.
If Sales Order Item Quantity are to be delivered through Delivery document then SAP restrict to update line status.

Unfortunately there is no such template for DTW in SAP in order to update the Values in OSRI Table.........
System will allownonly to update this table through Transactional data like marketing document transactions........

Updating Items with DTW : error valid value

hello,
When I try to update one item with DTW I got one valid format error like this :
"" is not a valid value for field "SellItem" the valid value are 'Y' 'Yes' 'N' 'No' application-defined or object-defined error65171.
and this is my CSV file :
RecordKey ItemCode ItemName ItemsGroupCode BarCode SalesVATGroup PurchaseItem SalesItem InventoryItem
1; AB1072; IDE_CISL_HOBBY_1033; 101 ; 5010356990356 ; C4 ;Y ;Y ;Y
So the same error came for the Last Three fields.
Did someone have a solution ?

Price in orders not updated by DTW

Hi experts,
I'm trying to update price in order lines with DTW 88.0.11
The DTW returns no error but the price is not updated.
During the DTW, I saw in the tab 'Target Data' of the step 5, the row 'price' with the new value.
Is there a good reason for the data not been updated?

I'm trying to connect HANA from Data Transfer Workbench using the new user but the program shows the error message "Exception from HRESULT: 0xFFFFFFFF" .
If I try with SYSTEM user, the connection is successful.
Which privileges should I assign to new User for it's correct working with DTW?

I give permission SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE and DELETE to the schemas SBOCOMMON and the current schema. Also I select the option Grantable. but the problem continue.
I try copy privileges the system user, but the user SYS is assign him and I dont know how loggin whit this user

Importing InventoryGenEntry with DTW

Hi experts!
I am trying to import an inventoryGenEntry with DTW and it sends me this error:
IGN1.WhsCode,Line: 1, Fractional quantity in row XXXX aplication defined or object defined error 65171
The document only have one line, the item have batch numbre managment.
I test this and whorked fine:
I create the item on another DB without Batch number managment an it works.
Header:
RecordKey,DocDate,DocDueDate,TaxDate,Comments

Line:
RecordKey,LineNum,AccountCode,ItemCode,Price,PriceAfterVAT,Quantity,WarehouseCode

I check the linenum field remark:
It should be an integer which begin with 0 ,it is just for update, keep it empty when import.
But I need decimal quantities to make this entry because I'm working with "chemical" materials, could you recomend me something diferent?

Importing Multilanguage Translations with DTW

Hi,
My issue is to import multilanguage translations with DTW. The import itself works fine, the problem is to update.
The scenario is:
- some translations to an item A were imported
- now there are some translations in other languages, that should be imported to the item A
It should be possible, but i just can't get it..

How do I set the UserLanguagesObject?
I use two templates:
1.) MultiLanguageTranslations:
RecordKey = 1
Numerator = ACME Item
FeldAlias = ItemName
PrimaryKeyObject = A100
TableName = OITM
2.) TranslationsInUserLanguages:
RecordKey = 1
LineNum = (empty when import)
LanguageCode = 9
TranslationsContent = this is german
When updating i tried to add an additional row in the second template or i created a new template only with the new record, setting the LineNum to 1. It doesn't work.
Or did you mean, that in the import i have to set all language codes, even if without translationscontent?

Delete field value with DTW

Does anyone know how to delete a value in a field with DTW?
For example:
I want to use DTW to Update my BPs to delete the the Foreign Name for each BP.
Any thoughts?

On that note, besides going into SQL, are you aware of any solution that can delete large amounts of records at once?

For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it, which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

As I said, I don't use Time Machine, so it'd be best to wait for an "expert" answer, but, with my very limited knowledge, I'd say: probably not - so, for now, I'd suggest you read up on Time Machine:

Batch Characteristic not updating with result for linked MIC

Hi,
I have created a MIC and linked to a batch characteristic i.e. potency and included the characteristic in a specific batch class. This MIC is part of the inspection plan for a certain material.
If I generate a lot of origin 01 and 09 for the material and record a result for the MIC and apply a UD, the batch characteristic is not updated with the result recorded in the batch master record..
If I generate a lot origin 89 for the same material, when the result is recorded for the MIC and apply a UD the batch characteristic is updated with the mic value in the batch master record.
Can you help regards?

Ok. I am a little bit further.
I put a trace (ST05) on the result recording and I find a difference between 4.7 and ECC6.0.
In ECC6.0 I've an deletion in table "AUSP". This deletion isn't performed in the 4.7 system.
Hope that this can help to solve my problem.

Voice memos, once correctly synced, will appear under your Music Library. Can you go through your music library to check?
