Updated iPhone 4 to new software. forgot to save the calendar. Is there a way to get my calendar and photos back?
I updayed my Iphone 4 with the new software, but forgot to save my calender and photos. Is there any way to restore them?
If you never backed up or synced the calendar or photos, there is no recovery you can do. The photos may still be on your phone in a hidden folder. There are iPhone repair centers that may have software that can find them. Google.

i have a ipod touch 2g and after a restore none of my apps will restore because it says that i need a newer version of the ipod software to run them they all work fine till i did the restore . is there any way to get them back ?
Your only way is if you have the version that was compatible on your computer such as in the recycle bin/trash or in a computer file backup. In that case delete the current version that is in your iTunes App library and replace it with the older version. Then sync.

I had to trade in my iPhone for an android, I did not unencrypted the back up on iTunes, i no longer have access to the phone, is there a way to get to my data?
The difficulty is you have to unencrypt during the restore process, which you cannot do with an Android device.

I just synced my iPhone on iCloud and it deleted all of my calendar events and isn't even showing up on the iCloud website. Is there a way to get all of those events back?
I've had the same problem, synced yesterday and I've lost all my events in my calendar. Restored my phone, not worked, deleted icloud that hasnot worked, nothing is coming up at all on icloud calendar, and my mac was backed up when I plugged in today so not backed up on that. Someone please help, can I get them back? my life was on that calendar.

I linked my outlook express with icloud, not realizing it would change my outlook express contacts. I deleted email addresses from my iphone, not wanting them there which in turn deleted them from my PC. Is there any way to get these addresses back? Seems I no longer have an outlook contacts list.
It's Outlook, not Outlook Express (different program) and if you have now deleted them from iCloud and do not have a backup they are gone.

Something happened while updating my iPhone 5 while downloading the new software. It now has the icons on the screen saying to connect to itunes but it isn't showing up in itunes? I know the USB cord/port isn't a problem because my computer makes noises when plugged in and unplugged from the usb port however it isn't showing up in iTunes or 'My Computer' - they don't show anything. Please help, I have no idea how this happened!
Bad feeling I may have to go into the Genius Bar
Any help would be appreciated,
Thanks in advanceUpdate:
I have been following instructions on the apple website.
Including:
How to restart the Apple Mobile Device Servie (AMDS)
http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1567
and
Removing and reinstalling iTunes, Quicktime and other software components
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1923
Both did not work - phone is still not showing up in iTunes or 'My Computer' and it is still displaying the 'connect to itunes screen'
Again, thankful for any help and replies! -
Hey guys I got a used iBook from a family friend that has it password protected.I can't update or delete programs or download anything without the passwords and he doesn't remember them.Is there any way for me to get around these without wiping the computer and starting from scratch?
Hello,
Sadly without the system disk you can't do a lot. I would suggest you enable root user, log in as root and reset your administrators password, however you can't without knowing the administrator password first.
The only solution would be is to obtain the correct system disk or buy a retail copy of Mac OS X. But note, it depends on what version of the iBook you own depends, on what version of Mac OS X you will require.
You can still obtain the system disk or retail disks from online vendors, but they come at a cost.
System disk are grey in color, while retail disk have a big 'X' on it.
Best of luck -

So yeah, is there anyway I can just go back to what I had? c:If one of these programs will not kick the iPod out of recovery mode:

If necessary:

RecBoot may have problems on 64X windows, then try:

Installs blootware on PC too
You will have to restore and thus erase the iPod

I just got a new iPhone and it had not been backed up on my computer until now. Are the contacts saved elsewhere? It seems as though all of the stuff saved on my iPhone has been replaced with all of the stuff saved on my iPad touch, even the tabs I had open in Safari! I can't find the back up of the stuff originally on my iPhone. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Most intelligent people would not store such sensitive data on a device that could so easily be lost, stolen, or damaged. Even if they chose to do so, they would use the device as designed and regularly sync and backup that device as described in the User's Guide.
Have you done so? If you have, all of the data is either in iCloud or iTunes on your computer. Replace the device and restore the new iDevice with the backup of the old one. -
Recently I did an update on my iPad & I'm not happy with iBooks. A lot of the PDFs I have saved wont open. It will take days to weeks to replace them all. Is there any way to still try to get them to reopen???

I recently had to send my iphone off for repair and when I have got it back it has been reset to factory settings. Can I get my phonos, music etc back through icoulds ?
If your backup is incomplete you won't be able to use it. Do you have any backups on your computer? (You can check by opening iTunes and going to iTunes>Preferences>Devices (Edit>Preferences>Devices on a PC). That will list any available backups on your computer.

Updating iPhone 4 to new software 5.0
I have iPhone 4. Any known problems with updating to software 5.0? Sometimes upgrading like this to an older iPhone cause more problems to it.
Thank You.Some people have problems with each and every update (many self inflicted) and complain loudly.
Most never have any issue at all, and do not make a lot of noise.
I have updated my iphone 4 and my wifes iphone 3gs has just finished. They are fine. I know no one personally who has had an issue. -
HT1766 how do i get my apps and photos back to my i pod touch after I have updated my device?
how do i transfer my apps and music from my itunes account back to my i pod touch?
- You can resync apps and synced photos to the iPod.
- You can redownload app and other other iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
- If the photos were taken by or saved to the iPod restore the iPod from your iPod backup.
iTunes: Backing up, updating, and restoring iOS software
Note: That if you update your iPod on a computer and the synced media like apps, music and synced photos are not on the computer they will be erased from the iPod and will not be on the computer either.
