Updated to Flash 11.6.602.180 and Firefox 19.0.2 (Windows 7 and 8 desktops) and got very blurry videos on Facebook while Chrome and IE are OKed.

It worked earlier at least 2 months ago, but I did not remember which versions then due to automatic updates. I have not viewed my videos on Facebook for some time.

Why when I attempt to update Adobe Flash, it ask me to remove Firefox.

Using Aurora 13.0a2, on Ubuntu 11.10, cannot play flash with the current Gnash plugin; when I attempt to update Adobe Flash, it ask me to remove Firefox.

Not sure if there are any set default restrictions which you may have to override. Also, I think Synaptic should be offering at least Flash 11, unless perhaps the default Firefox that came with Ubuntu is 64-bit. If you downloaded the Aurora zip package from Mozilla, you can try to create a '''plugins''' folder inside the extracted firefox folder as outlined in the [http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/release-note/readme-flash-player-linux.html Adobe Readme]. This way you would have the regular Firefox from Ubuntu with Gnash as well as the future Firefox with Flash and possibly Gnash. Please note that it would be a good idea to [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Managing-profiles create another profile] (for eg. aurora) and switch between the two profiles for Firefox and Aurora to prevent possible corruption of personal data. Result was that some flash-source (e.g. youtube) would play normally (metro and desktop!), other sources would not start (facebook, macromedia and adobe test sites that show the version, e.g. http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/find-version-flash-player.html).
Also, the HP Solution Center (used to scan on HP devices) would not start, as it did not detect the IE plugin.
Error message was all alike: no Flash plugin installed, guiding me to the adobe download area (which does not work for Win8/IE10, as the plugin is provided by Win8), or leaving the flash area greyed out / empty.
After KB2819372 was manually removed and reinstalled via windows update, IE10 behaviour returned back to normal.
As I did not find any working solution for my problem, I thought I could share my experience.

Video plays out of sync with Flash version 11.6.602.180 in Firefox

I've been receiving multiple reports that some videos plays out of sync with Vimeo's Flash player in Firefox, but not in other browsers (with the same version of Flash installed). Disabling/enabling hardware accelerated decoding does not seem to make a difference. Any ideas as to what might be causing this issue?

This could be multiple issues, but the first thing that comes to mind is the protected mode feature in Flash Player for Firefox. We've made significant improvements in our 11.7 beta and I'd recommend giving this a try:

If that doesn't help, or you can't update to the beta version, try the steps outlined in this post:

In particular, I'd recommend temporarily disabling protected mode (for troubleshooting purposes only) to see if that addresses the issue.

1. Try Settings > iTunes & App Store > Apple ID: > sign out
2. Do a Reset: Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Note: You will not lose any data
3. When iPhone is back, sign back in your Apple ID & password.

You can check for problems with current Flash plugin versions and try these:
*disable a possible RealPlayer Browser Record Plugin extension for Firefox and update the RealPlayer if installed
*disable protected mode in Flash 11.3 and later
*disable hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin

Metafile download failed - Flash 11.6.602.180

I have x2 systems that I am trying to install this onto since yesterday morning both with IE9:
Windows 7 Enterprise x86 SP1
Windows 7 64-bit
I select that I do not want Chrome or automatic updates and it just will not install.
I noticed that if I select download the file it is 994kb (which looks like it may only be the installer) not the 15.1mb file that I was hoping for. Would it be possible to have access to the full .exe or .msi please?

I did not have any Macromedia file in syetem 32 when I last replied to your question. I had uninstalled FP 11.8, but my embedded FP on Windows 8 was (and is) still showing in Control Panel Items but did not and does not appear when checking version on the Adobe Find Version page.
Before reading your last reply, I did UNinstall 11.8 and then installed flashplayer_11_7_plugin_debug (FP 11.7.700.232).
This NOW shows up as Shockwave Flash ver. 11.7.700.232 in mozilla add-ons manager and is listed in system32 as a folder: C:\Windows\system32\Macromed with many files in the folder.
The Flash Player 11.7.700.232 worked on Mozilla FF 22.0 for several hours before not being able to play some flash content and then crashed. An odd window kept appearing while trying to use it, I did not copy the test of it, but will try and reproduce the problem, and copy and post the text here in a further discussion box on our discussion. A subsequent check to Adobe Find Version page shows that FP 11.7.700.232 is CURRENTLY installed and functoning. But it still does not play all Flash content that I encounter on the internet.
I did NOT use the Adobe Full Installer to install Flash Player 11.7.700.232, I simply downloaded the file to desktop and manually installed it off line.
If I DO need to uninstall FP 11.7.700.232, and reinstall it using the Adobe Full Installer, please tell me in detail how because I thought that the Full Installer had a different version of FP in it.
What I mean is, if I download and run the Full Installer, is that also simultaneously installing a different version of FP? Or do I run it and THEN install FP 11.7.700.232?

IMac Flash Freeze! Videos won't play after updating Adobe Flash Player. Send help (and donuts).

Last night I was prompted to download the newest version of Adobe Flash Player. After installing it Hulu and Youtube will not play videos. On Hulu there is a "Plug-In Failure" message. I've uninstalled it, reinstalled it, turned it off, turned it back on, uninstalled and reinstalled again, searched on message boards, turned it off for a long time and then turned it back on, refreshed the pages, and now I'm just drinking lots of coffee and pleading for help.
Hulu is my only t.v.!!!!

Chances are that iTunes is uploading NEW content to your iPhone... since the songs are on your iPhone, but not on your computer, your computer is not removing them from your phone.
Second option:
The songs are still in the main library. have you checked the list of ALL of your songs on your computer?
