Updating multiple infotypes

Hi,
We have a custom infotype which updates many other infotypes the code was written for PA30. We now for various reasons (ESS etc.) have to migrate the code and make the code decoupled.
I have read SAPHELP -> [Developing an Infotype in Personnel Administration -> ...Modify Existing Records|http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_03/helpdata/EN/43/a503b963161bbfe10000000a1553f7/frameset.htm]
and fully understand how to do this through containers - even have a good example with itype 0045 (CL_HRPA_INFTY_0045) which updates itype 0078.
To achieve the above the attribue a_masterdata_buffer has to be instantiated. The condition for this is if Legacy_Mode = false.(CL_HRPA_MASTERDATA_FACTORY=>Delayed_constructer( ) instantiates a_masterdata_buffer)
The only way i can see this happening is if Concurrent Empoyment is activated.
CALL METHOD cl_hrce_masterswitches=>check_released is true (note 520965)
and the following entries are activate in table T77S0
CCURE MAINS the master switch
CCURE GLOPY payroll of global employees
CCURE GLEMP management of global employees
Is there another way? Can containers be used another way?
if not
What is the implication of turning on concurrent employment - given we dont want to use any of the features?

Sorry to ask using your thread..But, were you able to answer your question? I'm having the same issues. I plan on updating infotype 2003 (SAP_PT) and 0007 (SAP_PA). I need to update either one of them but not both and I'm getting error in HCM Process and forms.

Update multiple infotypes for an employee

I have a requirement to update some fields in various PA infotypes like 0002, 0006, 0008, 0015, 0021 and a few custom PA infotypes (9xxx) for a given set of employees.
Is there any method by which I would be able to update the required fields of all the above listed infotypes for an employee in one go? Is it possible to update all the infotypes of all the given set of employees in one go?
Please let me know the FM that could be used to meet the requirement. An example would also be helpful.

Please check if there is already personnel actions defined with all the infotypes you are trying to update. If you have them, then you can use HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION or HR_MANTAIN_MASTERDATA very easily with one single call. For that please refer the logic of PA48 transaction, simple one.
If the personnel action is not defined, then you need to call the FM HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION separately for each infotype. Or HR_MAINTAIN_MASTERDATA at once for all of them.
From the list of standard infotypes mentioned, only IT0008 is having repetitive structure, handle it as a special case else others looks very similar.
Note : I don't see IT0000 mentioned in the list, hence i presume that there are no personnel actions defined for this set. But you can get it confirmed from your functional folks.

SAP HCM P&F - Update an infotype field which is NOT passed from Form

Dear Experts,
I have a requirement to update the Infotype with the entries in the HCM form (input by Employee in ESS) upon Manager's approval in MSS.
We are achieving this functionality using HCM P&F (FPM) with an Workflow associated. In this Workflow Standard Task (TS17900108) is used to Save the form data into the Database.
But there is one field (APPROVED_DATE) in the Infotype whose value is not from the FORM but should be updated in the Infotype.
Please help me with your inputs.

In this regard, could you please give us the step-by-step procedure to achieve this functionality?
Requirement in brief again:
We have designed Overtime HCM form (FPM) using which employee requests for the Overtime. This form is sent for the Manager for approval. We have achieved this functionality. With the Manager Approval, the database is also updated perfectly.
Then we have added one more field in the infotype to track the Approved Date. This field is to be updated along with the other fields (sent from FORM) upon the approval of the manager.
And now though the other fields are updated correctly into the infotype, the approved date is not updated.

Say if I want to change Open Quantity of both SO 1 & SO2 by dispatching 1 Quantity each for Article A1 and A2 via ORDCHG, observed that in Include LVEDBF0N, XVBAK-VBELN is checked for only 1 Sales Order.

How to update multiple records in the table using POST parameters:

Update multiple iphones to 5.1.1 on one iMac.
My daughter runs her business email through MobileMe. She updated to iCloud and no longer receives mail on her iPhone. We understand that she needs to upgrade to iOS 5.1.1 is this correct?
My daughter's Macbook is broken and is away being assessed (probably unusable). She urgently needs to receive mail etc. (She is a self-employed performer and depends on her mail and has over 1200 tunes). If she updates on my iMac will she lose her iTunes music, photos, contacts and apps?
How do we avoid this?
Do we need to back up her content first? If so, how?
Do we handle contacts differently to the iTunes items?
In short, 1 iMac, 2 iPhones - my iPhone is updated to 5.1.1, can we update my daughter's to 5.1.1 without wiping her content?
We have attempted to update her iOS but the warning message lead us to believe it was not possible without wiping it. We have also read several discussions with conflicting answers.

just taking that one step further..
there are two types of optical toslink surround setups.
1- those that have built in hardware decoding (like my Logitech Z-5500's) which means the speakers recieve that undecoded 5.1 signal from the computer, and the speakers themselves decode it - splitting the signal to 6 channels.
2-non harware decoding speakers, that are 5.1 but have to recieve a decoded signal from an optical toslink connector. note these cannot be used with a mac, as the mac does not output a decoded signal.
an external speaker&amp package has to be used in order to decode the output from the G5 Power Mac/ G5 iMac

I have one table named(Pay_apply_det) in this table i want to update one column named(Hierarchy) every time and according to change i want to update or i want to maintain my log table named(pay_apply_appr).It based on level wise approval when the lowest person approve the record show on next level but if the second
level person back it will be show only previous level hierarchy.And when the final approval happen the Posting_tag column of pay_apply_det will be updated too with hierarchy column.
i have drag pay_apply_det's data control as a table in my .jsf page and add one column approve status in UI .in the approve status i used radio group which return A for approve B for back R for reject through value binding i make it get or set method in it baking bean.

Hi Rafat,
If you are able to insert into, all you need to do is iterate through the rows. For this , before the first IF condition
if(getR2().equals("A")&& h1!=1)Get the row count using int numRows =vo9.getRowCount(); , and then write it before the IF condition

All i want is that when users click on SUBMIT button values of point column in s_lessons(database table) be updated by new entries from user.

Go to the Row Properties, and in the Visibility tab, you have "Show or hide based on an expression". You can use this to write an expression that resolves to true if the row should be hidden, false otherwise.
Additionally, in the Matrix properties you should take a look at the filters section, perhaps you can achieve what you wish to achieve through there by removing the unnecessary rows instead of just hiding them.
It's only so much I can help you with the limited information. If you require further help, please provide us with more information such as what data are you displaying, what's the criteria to hiding rows, etc...

How to deploy Adobe Photoshop CS4 11.0.1 update - multiple languages

Hello
I used Creative Suite 4 Deployment Toolkit to modify Adobe CS4 installation. Installation works like a charm. I have disabled auto updates in the installation of CS4.
My problem is now finding guide or information how to deploy updates.
I have downloaded: Adobe Photoshop CS4 11.0.1 update - multiple languages from adobe.com.
Unpacked the zip and I dont see any files that I can modify to install the upgrades in silent mode. There is one setup.exe and two MSI files. I tired looking at MSI files in Wise but there was very little there.
Only information I could find was guide how to run silent updates for CS3, but I dont think its same for cs4.
I talked to Norwegian/Swedish support but that didnt get anywhere
Any info you guys can provide is greatly appreciated.

What is the difference between these?

Adobe Reader MUI is Adobe's Multilingual User Interface version. This product is capable of installing any combination of supported languages. So, for example, you can install French, German, and Spanish simultaneously and then have the capability toswitch among those languages within Adobe Reader. The user interface changes to the appropriate language on the fly.
So if you have MUI Reader 9.3.3(and NOT normal Reader) in your machine and want to update it to 9.3.4 choose Adobe Reader MUI 9.3.4 update - multiple languages otherwise choose Adobe Reader 9.3.4 update - multiple languages (for normal Reader).
To check what you have in your machine, Goto Control Panel>Add or Remove Programs and check the entry of Adobe Reader.
For MUI reader it will be
"Adobe Reader 9.3.3 MUI"
and for normal Reader it will be
"Adobe Reader 9.3.3"
