Please build a W7xxDS series with the new Ivybridge i7 3920XM with the NVIDIA Quadro 5000M or Quadro 5010M. I'm sure there's a good demand for a machine with these specification since the W701DS production ended. A lot of CAD CAM,Aerospace and R&D organisation are hungry for such a machine.

Why is it impossible to buy the LR6 upgrade for the LR5 that I have bought one year ago?
Hello, I have spent about four hours trying to get the LR6 upgrade for the perfectly legally bought LR5.
Nothing is possible. The CC contract does not apply where I live.
It is the only choice I have in France.
The ID I got from Adobe when I last updated does not pass through.
Well...I'll either do the things when I go to South Africa or maybe I use a proxy or a torrent.
This is a crazy situation and not for the first time, either. The LR4 I got in Norway after a similar frustrating thing.
And no, 'hosts' file has been cleaned already.

My iPad has been 'upgrading' for the last 12hrs.That is, after I had downloaded the new version of iCloud, and pressed 'Install' without entering my password. It is probably searching for it. How do I go back to the window that will allow me to enter my password. I have tried switching off the device, but each time the 'upgrading' comes on. I have also switched it off and left it on the charger for at least 6 hrs.

I have a Adobe CC Photography plan and I would like to Upgrade for the Complete plan, What should I do? my account is Brazilian
Adobe only sell the latest version of Creative Suite which is CS6 so you can't buy CS5 anymore. Upgrades are also only available from CS5 to CS6 so CS3 wouldn't qualify anyway.

Disk Utility stuck on "updating boot support partitions for the volume as required"
Tonight when I mounted my Time Machine drive (a WD My Passport drive), it failed to mount properly, and I received a warning from Drive Genius that it needed repair. But when I launched Drive Genius, the disk would not show up.
Through a series of mounts, unmounts, and sleeping the computer, I managed to get it to show up in Disk Utility, so I seleted "Time Machine Backups" under the main listing for the drive ("319.37GB WD My Passort..."), and clicked Repair.
The detail window showed "Volume repair complete" almost immediately. But for almost four hours now, it's been stuck on "Updating boot support partitions for the volume as required."
Meanwhile, Activity Monitor has been showing fsku_hfs taking 30%-85% of the CPU the whole time.
Anyone have advice?Apparently not:

But when I ran Disk Utility again this morning, not on the Time Machine Backup, but up the hierarcy on the level labeled "319.37GB WD My Passort...," I got...
The volume Time Machine Backups appears to be OK.
And now the drive seem to be OK.
I think I'll still offload everything and reformat it. -
Settings for the relation of requirement type and planned order type
Dear Gurus
Where we maintain the settings for the relation of requirement type and planned order type?Actually I have maintained strategy 60 for a particular material (planning material) so the requirement type is vsev and along with that the planned order type is coming is vp i.e non convertible planned order.That is ok the system is behaving right.But nowhere I can find the setting of vp with vsev how the system is picking vp?

So my Macbook was not booting up so I resorted to using Disk Utility...it has been stuck on "updating boot support partitions for the volume as required" for over two days.
Has anyone else had to wait this long?
I have read that I should leave it until I get another message but I saw this reply on another site....

Any advice/tips would be greatly appreciated!Doesn't have to be another MacBook - any Mac with FireWire (400 or 800) will do. FW 400 to 800 adapters or adapter cables should be available from any computer store.
Instructions for FWTDM -
Disconnect all other FireWire devices from both computers before you use FireWire target disk mode. Do not connect any FireWire devices until after you have disconnected the two computers from each other or have stopped using target disk mode.
To use FireWire target disk mode
1. Make sure that the target computer is turned off.
2. If you are using an Apple portable computer such as a PowerBook or MacBook as the target computer, plug in its AC power adapter.
3. Use a FireWire cable to connect the target computer to a host computer. The host computer can be powered on.
4. Start up the target computer and immediately press and hold down the T key until the FireWire icon appears. The hard disk of the target computer should become available to the host computer and will likely appear on desktop. (If the target computer is running Mac OS X v10.4 Tiger, you can also open System Preferences, choose Startup Disk, and click Target Disk Mode. Restart the computer and it will start up in Target Disk Mode.)
5. When you are finished copying files, locate the target computer's hard disk icon on the desktop of the host computer and drag it to the Trash or choose Eject (or Put Away) from the File menu.
6. Press the target computer's power button to turn it off.
7. Unplug the FireWire cable.

Which would be the best upgrade for the money?
Here is my situation:
My school has a six year life cycle for macs, and we have a 2006 Mac Pro (1,1) that is reaching the end of its useful life. I had recently tried Final Cut Pro X and it pains me to say that it took 4 hours to export a 14 minute 720p video. This mac is used for our school news and has to be a beast video editing machine. We have been saving money for quite some time and can now afford a decent upgrade. So my question to you is which would be the best upgrade for the money: a 21.5 inch iMac with an i7, 8gb RAM, and Fusion drive or the cheapest Mac Pro with after market SSD? This mac needs to be the fastest at Final Cut Pro X and able to usefully last us another 6 years. Please help I am forever perplexed with this!Id go for the I7 with minimum 8 Gig ram and as much SSD as your money will buy.
It's not only about having a fast CPU but just as important is to get the data in and out as fast a possible.
Without a real fast drive your CPU will spend a lot of time just waiting for the data to get to it and then wait more time while it has to write back to the drive.
You can always add a slower drive for archiving and large amounts storage.

Where's The CS6 Complimentary Upgrade for The Student and Teacher Editions?
I bought the student and teacher edition of CS5.5 Design Premium a couple of weeks ago and got the email telling me how to get my complimentary upgrade to cs6 a few days ago. When I went on to adobe.com to look up the pricing for the student and teacher editions of the cs6 programs, there is no upgrade option (the only price shown says "Full from 449.00"). When I looked up pricing for the non-student and teacher editions, the upgrade option is there.
Are the upgrades for Student and Teacher Editions not available yet? Is there anybody else who bought the Student and Teacher Editions having this issue, or is it just me?I talked with someone from Adobe earlier and they told me that I cant upgrade to another student and teacher edition but I can upgrade to a retail version still at no cost. They also sent me a link to a page telling me more about how to claim the upgrade, and the page mentions a "coupon code" that I have to enter during checkout.

The email didnt include a coupon code, and I followed the steps but the price remains at the regular upgrade price. I read on the "how to claim" page the associate showed me that I would be getting a code no later than May 31st.
