However, when I try to use iBooks app or even USA Today, icon shakes, settles down then nothing else happens. Several tries, settings appear correct. Suggestions? Safari operates correctly, music icon matches (not from iTunes, simply music on my MacPro and iPod). Is Cloud the issue, perhaps? But everything worked before the upgrade. Using my home network. Hope this info suffices. Appreciate any guidance.

Problem solved. Saw the solution in a more recent post. Downloaded a free app, then all my other apps started to work again.

Please check the name of what you subscribed to. You say "Acrobat" but that isn't $19.99/year. Unfortunately Adobe have products which do the same thing and need to be used in different ways.

To purchase from iTunes you are required to fill in an address section under the billing info. You don't have to put in a credit card, just a name and address, so that iTunes can send you receipts later.
I had to do this when I first started buying things from iTunes, you just go to Account>Billing Address> Edit

HOWEVER, when I try to upload Icloud on my actual phone, it pulls my very old Apple ID....an email that is no longer in use. I don't see a way to edit or change it to the correct Apple ID...is there a way to do that?

If the apple id being used by iCloud isn't the one you want, go to settings > icloud > delete account. It doesn't actually delete the account, but it removes it from your device so you can put in the right apple id

Cannot upgrade new iPad to ios 6

I had no trouble upgrading my iphone 4s but the option to upgrade in my iPad settings is grayed out. I have backed up both devices to the cloud and have purchased addtional storage. Mine is a wifi only iPad.

I did have it connected. Finally downloaded and installed update by connecting to iTunes on my pc. So far everything seems to be working OK.

I have the Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 "Classroom in a Book" but my computer says "File Format is not Supported" when I try to use accompanying DVD. What is wrong please, I really like the book and want to learn!

I've had the product for a while and have tried editing without the book and using video's but it goes slow and I don't feel like I'm learning.
I'm sure there are shortcuts to be had and I'm re-inventing the wheel it seems.
"File Format not supported" means exactly what? Is my Windows Version not compatible?

Okay, so I Right Click and nothing says "Link Media".
When I double click on an asset it says, "the selected file cannot be linked because it has 2 audio channel(s) and the clip was created with 1 audio channel(s)."
However 1 video clip asset does open in CS4.

Assuming you have Messages on. You can try two things the first is a simpler than the second. Go to this site https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/, click on Manage your ID, log in and check if your Apple ID for your Messages and FaceTime apps is the the same as your primary email address. When I went there I saw a message that I should make them the same, for some reason they weren't, after I clicked on the submit to make them the same I haven't had any problem with either. Previously I kept getting signed out of both and had to constantly reenter my password to get them working. Quite a few times they wouldn't connect at all.
The second thing you can try is in Settings - General - Reset, and reset all settings. You will then have to reenter a lot of information such as account user names and passwords but this seemed to correct things for a lot of people. The first option is easier and worked for me so I'd give it a try.
