Upgraded player wont play MY swf?

First i d like to ask...can i post a url to the problem? I
cant seem to locate anything that says either way.
The issue...i own a website at which is installed a piece of
flash that i had designed. It has been working correctly until
today, i upgraded my flash player and now the flash on MY site wont
work for me, other flash seems to work fine, but i am not sure what
the problem is with mine. I am not a flash designer/coder and the
guy that did this one is unreachable at the moment.
I am having the issue with both firefox and I.E. All adobe
test sites say flash is properly installed( WIN 9.0.16.0 debug
player NO).
I am not sure what direction to take ...advice appreciated.

Update, a friend states HE can see/use the flash.
Can anyone else verify functionality of either...

I have uninstalled with the correct uninstaller and
reinstalled using links from adobe support and still no function
will work, i get a black box only.

HELP! iphone media player wont play files in a .htaccess protected folder.

I installed a personal webserver, Apache and configured it to provide access to my .mp3 files. Through Safari on the iphone I can connect to my webserver and see all of my .mp3 files. If I click on one, it fires up the music/media player.. then says "movie cannot be played". NOW, if I remove any .htaccess protections from the folder or server, then it works perfectly fine and will play my files. With the .htaccess set it does indeed ask me for a login/password,which I enter, but it STILL wont play the file. This stinks. Any smart web people out there know how I can use my own web server to access my files while protection them from other people browsing my IP???? Thanks in advance.

I'm not using secure access (https). I started with the most basic configuration, standard http: on port 80, etc. The configuration works perfectly fine when tested on my home PC. The problem seems to be in Safari on the iphone it prompts me for a login, and accepts it.. then it fires up the media/movie player and I'm guessing it's not passing the authentication/credentials/whatever to the movie player. When the media tries to play, it notes it's an access controlled file and just quits out. The movie player doesnt seem to allow asking of login/password info. Thoughts??

Flash player wont play my youtube videos after i updated it on mozilla firefox to latest version

I updated my flash player to the latest version 11.6.602.180 after not updating it for a very longtime. Now my youtube wont play videos just shows black screen. If i disable
the plugin the videos play but there is a message which says plug in disabled/manage plug ins. What should i do???? If i use internet explorer the videos play on youtube but i also want them to play for firefox just like before.pliz help i do not know the previous plug in i had?

I am having the same issue in Chrome... so checked Youtube in Firefox and IE... It's a Youtube issue! Videos load a few seconds at a time and makes the playback horrible... unusable! Wish someone at Google or Adobe would fix it!

Player Wont Play Downloaded So

I just got the player... I downloaded some songs (.wma)... I dragged them to the player... I double clicked on the player in windows explorer and saw the songs there... but when I unplugg the player and turn it on the light goes from green to red as if there are no songs inside. I know that they are there so why wont it play>?

Help! problems upgrading itunes,wont play at all now!

hi, ive just recently upgraded itunes after a prompt to do so and now i cant play itunes at all.All i get is a message saying itunes has encountered a problem and needs to close.I have tried de-installing and reinstalling,my computer is clean but i just get the same thing every time,but check this out...after days of no success i found an old version i think its 6 and it installed first time and now i have no probs,how can this be and how can i get the most up to date itunes without having to go through all that again,thinking id lost my music forever!!
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In windows, goto control panel> add and remove and uninstall itunes AND quicktime. Then go here and roll down to "Clean up iTunes installer files on the computer" http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=93976
Disable your antivirus/security programs then goto apple.com to download AND SAVE itunes. when the download is done goto the location you saved it on your PC, and doubleclick it to install

Dvd player wont play in full screen

Hello im using 10.5.5 and when I try to play a dvd in full screen it plays it for a while and then half the screen goes black and I can only see half of the movie, it was working fine before i updated to 10.5.5 any ideas howto solve this problem please ??/

I think DVD Player has some problems in 10.7.0. I can play DVDs but get the same symptoms as you as soon as I try to fast forward or similar. I think we need to wait for 10.7.1 for a fix. You could try VLC if you desperately need to play DVDs in the meantime.
BTW, you can get out of DVD player by using Command-Option (Alt)-Escape together, then clicking DVD Player and Force Quit on the window that appears.

checked everything out and it says its installed and most flash
required programs work except for videos, for example when i try

or i have java turned off, well ive checked java at least 200 times

Now I have hardware acceleration ON and the latest vs of FP as well. I did notice that when right clicking on the above video when it was playing that I could choose low/medium/high. I had it on high and didn't have any audio or video issues.
Some Yahoo videos just have a problem. I'd search that Help section and if that doesn't help, contact Yahoo. You never know how the video that doesn't play is coded so that's what I think. If it won't play on any browser, then it's probably the video.
Youtube is a good indicator and that's what I'd go by.
Be careful roaming around without your Firewall on, too many bad guys out there! Just looking for an opening.

Got DivX player, wont play sound

Just got a new MacBook Pro and I'm fairly new with mac software so I'm still trying to figure it out. I have a video file that ends in .avi that i couldnt get to play in quicktime. I downloaded the DivX player and then opend the file with that and now i'm getting this message:
"This file contains a track in the Dolby AC3 Audio (code "8192") format. You may need to install a QuickTime™ component for this audio format in order to hear the soundtrack of this file."
Any ideas what to do now?

I'm having similar issues.
Most files including AVI play fine in QT and QuickView from the Finder but other just play the video and no sound but they work fine in VLC and MPlayer. I'd just like to be able to use quickview on all my media without having to convert the files.
I've tried all the solutions including Perian and even managed to install QT7 Pro but without luck.

Songs in MP3-Player wont play

Hi everybody, my kids downloaded several songs from the ITMS. They dont play in their (non-apple) MP3-Players. Did we waste our money or is there a way to make them play?

No your in the clear, once you buy your music you own it. You can do whatever you want with it exept authorize more than 5 computers to share it.
That's not completely correct. First, you don't own music (even on CD), you own certain rights to use it, depending on the terms of the license. Second, you can't "do whatever you want with it": both the Terms of Sale of the iTunes Music Store and the copyrights on the tracks have limitations. Basically you can use the tracks for personal use, but are forbidden from using them commercially in any way, giving them away or selling them, or trying to break the copy protection.

Flash Player wont play a live stream (WIN or LINUX)

hi everyone,
i have an issue with my flash player (LATEST VERSION) on both my windown and also linux OS. while trying to view a live stream from either twitch.tv or justin.tv, i get a cream colored background where the video should be displayed, however youtube and a few other sites work fine. i have tried a number of things to try to resolve this issue such as re-installing, disabling all other addons, installing an older version, reseting IE and Firefox to default and nothing seems to work. i have the exact same issue on my linux also (ubuntu 12 LTS).......
although you may think i should just got to another streaming site that does work. twitch tv and justin tv are the only one that stream the content i am looking for. (dust 514/EVE weekly live video cast) (http://www.twitch.tv/ccp/old).
can anyone give me any info on this matter, or how i may be able to resolve it.

What does the "!" in front of a song mean? The song will not play.

It means the song can't be located. For instance, if you moved the song from where it was when you added it to the library, it doesn't know where to look for it now. Usually when you click on it, it will tell you it can't be located and would you like to locate it? You then find it for iTunes and then it should all be good. Sometimes it's not that you moved it, but that iTunes "forgot" where it was.

Adobe doesn't mentioned in the document what's the differences between these 2 methods, and they look has the same effect. But when I'm doing it on OS X, Safari 6.1, the first method doesn't work (It was working when I was using Safari 6.0). And then I tried method 2, it works…
So I'd like to ask what are the differences between these 2 methods to play local swf files?

For playing local SWF files, Download the Macintosh Flash Player 11.9 Projector
It's a standalone app. Just copy it to your Applications folder. Launch it, and drag the SWF to the Dock icon. It'll play.

You are in that awful authorization loop.
Here are some steps to try.
1. Deauthorize, then reauthorize your PC - it might be using multiple authorizations and this article shows you how to fix that.

And make sure you authorize for all iTS accounts, even that old one from 3 years ago you may have forgotten about.
2. Delete the SC Info folder. The entire folder, not just the file. It will get rebuilt the next time you start iTunes. Don't forget to restart your PC, as the article says.

3. Get a free single of the week, which has the latest DRM on it, and play a few seconds of it. Sometimes the latest song of the week fixes everything.
