Upgrading from 10.6.8 to Yosemite, order of upgrades?

Hi all,
I work for a senior college. We currently have a mac running OS X 10.6.8, DeployStudio and Server.
What I want to know is the order to upgrade.
OS - Server - DeployStudio or Server - OS - DeployStudio etc. etc etc.....
I will be performing a full backup and clone for fallback.

Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer.
If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior and/or Tech Tool Pro to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.

I upgraded MacbookPro 2009 from 10.6.8 to Yosemite 2 weeks ago. My iphoto is now a nightmare. i went to our local apple retailer but they could not help either. Perhaps someone can help. Beforehand the OS upgrade I made a backup copy of my Iphoto library onto an external hard drive. Lets call it BU with 50GB. I also deleted half of my photos from the default library on my laptop, lets call it DE, now with about 20GB, to gain space. I then upgraded to Yosemite.
I have also installed since a long time Iphoto Library Manager 3.8.6. (this may be the cause of the problem as it was not upgraded and perhaps thus not compatible with iphoto 9.6 which I have now after the upgrade to Yosemite) It all worked fine before the upgrade, switching in iphoto between the two libraries DE and BU.
It also worked fine after the upgrade for a few days. At one stage Iphoto asked me to upgrade the iphoto version as it otherwise could not read the photos when I tried to load the BU library into iphoto. I did click yes to upgrade iphoto. As a result I became a brand new but totally empty library, no photos.
BU was still on the external disc, however the "Master" file was empty. We fortunately discovered all photos were in another file called Old Master, also under BU. We made another copy of the Old Master file onto the external disc. Lucky we did, because shortly afterwards we could not open anymore the BU file thus had no access to anything in there. Now I have 17000 photos in a file called Old Master on my external disc and another smaller library DE on my laptop. When I tried to import the photos from Old Master into a new iphoto library it was very messy. All events dates were mixed up, many photos were imported twice. I have no idea whether all my 17000 photos have been imported.
Can anyone suggest what is the most time efficient way? How do I best import my 17000 into a new library ensuring I don't loose any in the process. I do not wish sorting through 17000 photos for a week or so. Shall i also get a new iphoto library version now? Thank you for anything that may work.

Yes, the Old Master file has a folder for each year where I find all photos from that specific year. I am attaching a screen shot of the file.
In the meantime i have managed to download all photos (it did not download any video files though in mpg, avi, 3gp, m4v,mp4 and mov format) to a new iphoto library. Unfortunately the photos are quite mixed and often doubled up. I ma considering to purchase iphoto library which checks all duplicates in iphoto. this will save me a lot of time. What do you think?

After upgrading to iOS8, iPhoto Events from my Mac are out of order.

It's a whole new ballgame now. Here's some info on how the Photos apps now works.
Your photos are still on your phone. With iOS 8 there is no My Photo Stream or Camera Roll any more. The MPS has been replaced with the Recent Activity album.
The CR is replaced by the Collections mode. The closest we can get to the Camera Roll is to turn off the Summarize Photos feature in the Settings/Photos & Camera pane and view the photos in the Collections/Moments window.
The photos will be in chronological order when scrolled up from the bottom of the window.
The Recent Activity album is showing the photos added in the last 30 days going back to 8/20 (today being 9/18). In iPhoto on a Mac the My Photo Stream is showing more like 31 days, 8/19 to today, 8/20. It must be how the two devices calculate the last 30 days.
WARNING: If you use iTunes to sync photos between your iPhone or iPad and your Mac do not activate the iCloud Drive. Doing so will kill the capability of using iTunes to sync with your mobile device and disable Documents & Data syncing for your iCloud account on OS X Mavericks and earlier Macs, as well as iOS 7 and earlier devices.

No Update Possible from 10.6.8 to Yosemite

Just came back from an acquaintance trying to upgrade from 10.6.8 to Yosemite. Her MacBook is listed as supported and she has an Apple ID.
Starting Software Update or AppStore advertises Yosemite as available.
Clicking the upgrade or load button makes the button inactive but nothing happens.
Next I installed a trial of Little Snitch to see if there was any traffic, but there is no visible download activity. To make sure it wasn't the fault of her internet setup I tried once again using my iPhone as WiFi station. Still no download.
Closing and reopening the App Store makes the update available again with the same effect as above.
Suggestions?

Postings on the forum indicate that there is a problem at Apple's end. Sadly, There is nothing you can do, other than wait.

I keep getting this.
The Bank and Paypal states that Adobe needs to process my transaction twice.
I have no order number/ no status nor contact from Adobe. I called customer service and he transferred me to sales where the phone rang with no answer.

Several payments from one vendor into one payment order

Hello,
I would combine payments from one vendor into one payment order.
I found in XK03 there is a tab in payment tab to set the voice individual payment but I cannot change it since is not an editable field.

How can I change this?
I need to do this change as a massive change for all vendors for a company code.

Yes, What Harnish says is correct.
Additional you can check in Vendor Master-Company Code Data-Payment Transactions Tab-Individual Payment
Individual pmt should be un-ticked.

Hi Anish,
This can be achieved through the roles and authorization.
This can be done through the basis team. they can create user profiles and roles.
For the roles they assign some transaction codes so that they can view the only assigned tr. codes.
Like that ur requirement can be done.
Also u can prevent the user to change any fields in the sales order screen (VA02). for that please modify the authorisations.

Can't we transfer the data without the exit?

I have tested this in sand box.Thought the customer master is having payment method ( payer ) ,It is not copying from customer master to sales order but if you maintain manually in sales order ,it is copying into billing document level.FYI see below snap shot.
Note:If you want it from customer master into sales order,may be you need to take help of abaper on this.

Delete the email. The zip file will have no effect on your iPhone.

Traceability from customer invoice to initial production order

Scenario : We have activated basic management for Raw material, semi finished, Finished materials. (fert, halb, herb) Semi finished material is sent from one plant to other plant and finally
invoice raised to customer at receiving plant. We need to track the Initial production order for an invoice or for supplies made during a particular period.
In routing we have 22 operations both in house and external with separate semi-finished codes.
Ex: Material A u2013 Inhouse, Material B u2013 External, Material C u2013 Inhouse etc.,
Bill of Material maintained respectively.
Ex: Semi-Finished code X

After doing in house operations A material is inwarded to a location and sent to subcontractor against 541 movement. Here the Batches are entered manually.
After receipt of Material B from subcontractor Again one more production order is released with purchase order as reference in batch .
After In house operations Material X is moved to Location and Stock Transfer Invoice raised to
other plant. By doing VL10B.
Bill of material at receiving plant
Receiving plant Finished code Y
.1         S     EXTERNAL

MIGO is done at receiving plant with reference to outbound delivery.
Production order is released at receiving plant under R material and X will be issued.

S material is received from subcontractor with Purchase order as reference in batch.
Production order released on Y material and S material is issued.
MIGO is done for Y material against production order with production order number as Batch.
Invoice raised for Y material with reference as Production order as Batch.
Here We need to track the Initial Production order.

Hi,
Use the batch where used list for the batch .T code MB56.It will give the entire history of that batch incuding in the prduction orders. You will be having the batch number of raw material , you cdan use this for the purpose.

It's a dean markley acoustic pick up with a mono 1/4" jack. It's plugged into a focusrite interface. GarageBand only records it in stereo and only plays it back in mono.

COPA : Drive Item Category from billing doc. / without sales order

Dear All ,
I need to drive item category directly from billing document ( billing without sales order - POS inbound doc. )
i tried to drive it from table VBRP but the derivation failed as table VBRP need the billing doc. number & i can't get it from COPA
POS does not create any sales order , the in coming inbound doc. create billing directly ( billing type : FP ).
