Upload file by uploadedfile

List employeeList = (List)ob;
Employees tmpEmployee = (Employees)employeeList.get(0);
BufferedInputStream input =
new BufferedInputStream(((UploadedFile)filename.getValue()).getInputStream());
ByteArrayOutputStream out = new ByteArrayOutputStream();
BufferedOutputStream output =
new BufferedOutputStream(out);
byte[] buff = new byte[4096];
int bytesRead;
while (-1 !=
(bytesRead = input.read(buff, 0, buff.length))) {
/*循环读取数据*/
output.write(buff, 0, bytesRead);
byte[] result = out.toByteArray();
tmpEmployee.setPhoto(result);

and ? Anything for us to do? Note that I can't read the comment in your code as it isn't English.

  • Change upload file name with com.oreilly.servlet.MultipartRequest to handle the file upload

    1. when use com.oreilly.servlet.MultipartRequest to handle the file upload, can I change the upload file name .
    2. how com.oreilly.servlet.MultipartReques handle file upload? do it change to byte ?
    what  different?  if I use the following method?
       File uploadedFile = (File) mp.getFile("filename");
                   FileOutputStream fos = new FileOutputStream(filename);
                    byte[] uploadedFileBuf = new byte[(int) uploadedFile.length()];
                   fos.write(data);
                 fos.close();

    My questions are
    1) when use oreilly package to do file upload , it looks like i line of code is enough to store the upload file in the
    file direction.
    MultipartRequest multi =
            new MultipartRequest(request, dirName, 10*1024*1024); // 10MB
    why some example still use FileOutputStream?
    outs = new FileOutputStream(UPLOADDIR+fileName);
        filePart.writeTo(outs);
       outs.flush();
      outs.close();
    2) can I rename the file name when I use oreilly package?

    Hi all,
    I have a problem with upload file using JSF RI 1.1 + tomahawk.

    17:11:52,578 WARN ExtensionsFilter:34 - Please adjust your web.xml to use org.apache.myfaces.webapp.filter.ExtensionsFilter
    And also this error when I click in a button to go to the upload page:
    16:47:47,250 WARN ReducedHTMLParser:468 - Invalid HTML; bare lessthan sign found at line 127
    When I click in the button to go to the upload pages the first time i get this error ad with the second click I get the right page.
    It seems like he go to the filter the first time and then to the faces servlet the second, it is possible?
    this is the code of the web.xml:

    I don't have org.apache.myfaces.webapp.filter.ExtensionsFilter in my libraries, I only have org.apache.myfaces.component.html.util.ExtensionsFilter. I also tried to change it, but it still don't work...
    I tried to redo all the process, and now I can't even access the action method in my backing bean....
    I repost the the file that I use:
    This is the error that I get when I try to use the action method:

    If I specify the absolute path like c:\temp, the file save is successfull. I am looking for a way to save the file in a folder in the context, without having to specify the full path of the folder.

  • File upload: problem with writing uploaded file to server-harddisk

    Hello,
    according to the example in the File upload tutorial, I tried to save an uploaded file to disk, but it didn't work (and also no messages / exceptions were thrown).
    The Javadoc for the function uploadedFile.write(filename) says that if the file should be written in an other directory than the servers' tmp-directory, the server.policy has to be adjusted.
    The following line is already included in my server.policy:
    permission java.io.FilePermission "<<ALL FILES>>", "read,write";
    So I have two questions:
    1) Where can I find the servers' tmp-directory?
    2) How should the sever.policy permission code look like?

    The File Upload tutorial at http://developers.sun.com/prodtech/javatools/jscreator/learning/tutorials/2/file_upload.html has you save the uploaded file to disk. It also gives this information:
    The server holds the uploaded file in memory unless it exceeds 4096 bytes, in which case the server holds the file contents in a temporary file. You can change this threshold by modifying the sizeThreshold parameter for the UploadFilter filter entry in the web application's web.xml file. For more information on modifying the web.xml file, see the last section in this tutorial, Doing More: Modifying the Maximum File Upload Size.
    In cases where you want to retain the uploaded file, you have three choices:
    * Write the file to a location of your choosing, as shown in this tutorial.
    * Create an UploadedFile property in a managed bean and set it to the component's value before you exit the page (as in the button's action method).
    * Save the file to a database.
    By default, the File Upload component can handle files up to one megabyte in size. You can change the maximum file size by modifying the maxSize parameter for the UploadFilter filter entry in the application's web.xml file, as described in the last section in this tutorial, Doing More: Modifying the Maximum File Upload Size.

  • Error while Uploading File using BLOB

    Hi All,
    I am trying to upload file into Database using simple JHeadstart generated screen for a table with a column having BLOB attribute. Wile inserting, I get this error message.
    JBO-25009: Cannot create an object of type:oracle.jbo.domain.BlobDomain with value:oracle.adfinternal.view.faces.webapp.UploadedFiles$FixFilename@1930089
    Any help would be appreciated..
    Mamun

    The problem you're getting is because the af:inputFile component does not support uploading into columns other than OrdDoc, OrdImage, OrdVideo types.
    I think you would need to implement the interface oracle.adf.view.faces.webapp.UploadedFileProcessor in a custom class which would
    handle the file upload and configure it in the
    adf-faces-config.xml file e.g.:
    <uploaded-file-processor>packagename.FileUploadProcessor</uploaded-file-processor>
    Someone correct me if I'm wrong, as I haven't tried it out myself yet.

  • Uploading Files into DB with php

    Hi There,
    I am struggling with my php code.  I added an upload button into my site, here the consultants can add documents which they have worked on.  But...I cannot get these documents into a folder in the DB, nor can I get these documents to be viewed by a Teamleader with the original request number attached.
    I used the normal script to do the Browse function:
    <form enctype="multipart/form-data" action="post3.php" method="POST">
      <input type="hidden" name="MAX_FILE_SIZE" value="300000" />
      <span class="grey">Choose a file to upload</span>:
    <input name="uploadedfile" type="file" />
    <input type="submit" value="Upload File" align="middle" />
    </form>
    But my PHP code does not want to work nor does it want to display anything...(a bit frustrating)
    can anyone please assist me with code or some pointers please..
    Thank you in advance..

  • Adobe Muse won't publish (Error uploading file)

    After making simple animations using Adobe Edge Animate it seems as though none of the assets will publish with my site after importing them into Muse.
    In Edge animate I saved for "web animation" and published. Then I went to muse and hit "place". I went to preview and everything works fine. When I go to publish there are always errors in uploading my assets with '.png' extensions.
    Any help is much appreciated. I have completely scrapped my website and created another, reinstalled Animate and have renamed all my files, I'm not sure whats wrong here.
    I got one animation working, and that can be seen here under the Photography section, but I have multiples that will be shown on my page at one time.

    I get the error uploading file everytime I try publishing the animation.

  • Get upload file from a RichFileInput(s) created dinamically  (11.1.1.2.0g)

    Hello to all,
    I saw the tutorial for managing the file by RichFileInput (opn http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12839_01/web.1111/b31973/af_input.htm#BABDFAEI) I think that the key is the association between the attribute value of af:inputFile element and file attribute of bean.
    public class ProcessFileUpload {
    private UploadedFile _file    ------------> mapped to ---->  <af:inputFile value="#{ProcessFileUplade.file}"...
    But I cannot add mappings because I add a lot of RichFileInput dynamically to the page, so I don't know how many files I'l have.
    So, is it possible to map the value attribute to an element of an ArrayList<UploadedFile>? How can I do this by EL in java?
    Thank you,
    Cristian

    I reply to myself:
    Use a Array:
    private UploadedFile[] files = new UploadedFile[10];
    And then add use this on every RichInputFile ;
    private UIComponent addFileAssociation(UIComponent comp, int id) {
    FacesContext ctx = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance();
    Application application = ctx.getApplication();
    ExpressionFactory ef = application.getExpressionFactory();
    String veString = "#{backingBeanScope.backing_document.files["+id+"]}";
    ValueExpression ve = null;
    try{
    ve = ef.createValueExpression(FacesContext.getCurrentInstance().getELContext(), veString, Object.class);
    } catch (Exception e){
    e.printStackTrace();
    comp.setValueExpression("value", ve);
    comp.setId("file_"+id);
    return comp;
    Yest it works :)

  • Request.getParameter() when uploading files

    Hi, I need to upload files and do other works .. such that, in my html ..
    <form name="composer" method="post" ENCTYPE="multipart/form-data">
    <input type=hidden name="a" value="a">
    <input type=File name=inputfile>
    <inpu type=button name=Upload onClick='upload file'>
    <inpu type=button name=otherStuff onClick='do other stuff'>
    </form>
    In the jsp for 'do other stuff', I have the following statement to get the value of a
    String a = request.getParameter("a");
    However, it returns 'null', if I erase the 'ENCTYPE' part from the html file, it works. How can I get it right?

    If your ENCTYPE is multi-part/form-data, then there is another technichque to read the form parameters.
    request.getParameter() won't work.
    first u need to read the requenct explicitely and divide the contents into parameters, files etc. and then read the parameter values.
    you can get a lot of stuff regarding this on web, like 'uploading files using jsp'.
    have fun!!

  • Remove link for uploaded files in application

    Hi all,
    I've been following the tutorial on how to upload and download files in application at http://download-uk.oracle.com/docs/cd/B32472_01/doc/appdev.300/b32469/up_dn_files.htm. I have now created my own table which stores the uploaded files and can download them successfully. I would now like to add the ability to delete these files within the application and was wondering what the best way of doing this was?
    I would like to add another column to the displayed report with a 'Remove file' link for each listed file, which when clicked would delete the file from the table. I've already tried using a similar method to the one used to upload the files (instead of uploading the file, the called procedure deletes it from the table using the specified ID), but this causes the application to display a blank page when the link is clicked, which I dont want (but does delete the file).
    I would appreciate any suggestions.
    Regards,
    Dave

    Dave,
    See the login page:

    There are details on how to access the application builder, where you can see how the
    setup of that download, delete, upload application has been done.

  • Delete an uploaded file (in custom table) from a report

    Hi,
    I have a report of uploaded files (the files are saved in my own table, not in APEX_APPLICATION_FILES) - I'd like to add a delete link to each file in my report so that the user can delete a particular file.
    How do I go about doing this?
    Thanks.

    Melissa,
    It is now working. You missed couple of things:
    1. javascript in the header
    2. you were pointing to the page 1 and your process was on the page 2
    3. you passed the value to a non existing item on the page 3
    4. the request which would fire the delete process was triggered by a wrong request
