Urgent! fields of a table to be separated with space n comma

Hi,
I have a table in which the entries have to be separated by a comma n space.
I have put the entries within an internal table.
I used the concatenate to do this but its getting overwritten.
Eg.I have atable with the field as name.
The entries for this field r say aaa bbb ccc ddd.
I have put these into an internal table itab.
The required output is aaa, bbb, ccc, ddd
For this I coded as
loop at itab.
concatenate itab-name ' ,' into answer separated by space.
endloop.
answer is a string which gets overwritten with one entry.Finally answer is having only ddd.
Please help me ASAP with the exact procedure and syntax.

Export Excel Table in .txt File with space delimited text in UNICODE Format

I've a big unsolved problem: I would like to convert an Excel table with some laboratory data in it (descriptions as text, numbers, variables with some GREEK LETTERS, ...). The output should be a formatted text with a clear structure. A very good solution is
given by the converter in Excel "Save As" .prn File. All works fine, the formattation is perfect (it does not matter if some parts are cutted because are too long), but unfortunately the greek letters are converted into "?"!!!
I've tried to convert my .xlsx File in .txt File with formatting Unicode and the greek letters are still there! But in this case the format is not good, the structure of a table is gone!
Do you know how to save an Excel file in .prn but with Unicode formatting instead of ANSI or a .txt with space delimited text?

This solution works in Excel/Access 2013.
Link the Excel table into Access.
In Access, right-click the linked table in the Navigation Pane, point your mouse cursor to "Export", and then choose "Text File" in the sub-menu.
Name the file, and then under "Specify export options", check "Export data with formatting and layout". Click "OK".
Choose either Unicode or Unicode (UTF-8) encoding. Click "OK".
Click "Close" to complete the export operation.

Very Urgent : Reterival of AWKEY field from BKPF table

I am making a report in which i have to make relation of 2 fields BKPF-AWKEY and MKPF-MBLNR . but the problem is i am not to reterive data from it as i have to make inner join among these fields so data can be reterived fmo these tables.

Updation of Primary Key field in HR Tables (PA2001 and PA2002) - Urgent

Can anyone please tell me how to update a primary key field in HR Tables (PA2001 and PA2002).
I need to update sprps field in both the tables. I used HR_Infotype_Operation function module, but still it is not updating the field.

But I need to change this field as we need to lock the records, as soon as the employee fills his/her time sheets which will be sent for HR Payroll, later on.
When I am updating directly the field the database table PA2001, its not updating but for table PA2002, only few records are being updated.
Is there any other alternative for this problem?

Dear all experts,
I am able to populate all fields data from database table, using dynamic table creation.
eg,
SELECT * FROM (w_tabname) INTO TABLE <t_itab>.
where w_tabname is the table name given by the user, and t_itab is field symbol.
but some requirement is like that i need to pick up only few fields, which user will give at the runtime.
I can take those fields from file into any internal table,
but the problem is that instead of select *, i need to put selected the fields given by user.
i have tried with field symbol, it is not working (as per my knowledge.)
do i need to create any structures dynamically ?
Can anybody please help in this regards ?

Now p_field1 & p_field2 belong to the same table since you have give the user to enter only one table name.
This should work fine.

A field of the table in sql server db can't be updated with the db adapter

Hi all,
I am using db adapter to update data in bpel. The database is sql server.
But on the running time, i find a field which named 'JDBCT1' can't be updated. all the other fields of this table can be updated properly.
For the operation type, i have tried the update only and execute pure sql. None of them works.
The version of SOA is 11.1.1.6.
Can any one give some solutions?

Table as tab separated columns in a file using Java

I want to design a general java procedure which will take a oracle table name as input and will store the fields of table separated by tabs in a file.
For this i need to have access to field names of tables as i have to store them as headings.
How to get field names as strings?
I know that this can better be created by using file package of oracle and writing a PL/SQL procedure, but it will store it on oracle server machine and i want the file to be on client.
Any suggestions?

In addition to having the data in the Oracle data dictionary, if you're writing a Java program you'll presumably be using JDBC which has a variety of MetaData classes that expose this sort of information.
If you're looking for speed, you might also search asktom.oracle.com for "SQL Unloader" which is a Pro*C program Tom Kyte wrote for this sort of thing.

Unbound fields in a table built with rfc model

Hi,
I would like to have unbound fields in a table in addition to the fields that are coming from the model.
I have a model from an RFC function. I use this to build a table. There are 5 columns. This works fine. I would like to add two additional columns to the table that have their data coming from elsewhere (not from the rfc function).
I've tried using the wdDoModifyView as below:
IWDTextView text = (IWDTextView)view.getElement("TextView2");
text.setText("This is the text");
The problem here is that the value is shown on all the rows, not just one.
And if I try to use the object that contains the getters and setters for the table data, these additional unbound fields do not have the getters and setters.
How can I get to these unbound fields so I can fill them in a loop ? Can I create additional fields in the model so I can bind them to the context ?
I do not wish to change the rfc code to have these additional fields in there. I am also not able to add fields to the model by hand (should I be able to ?).

I'm going thogh a list that contains String objects.
Each String object contains fields separated by a tab. There are 6 fields, and 4 of them are going to the Zmaterilas object, and the rest 2 should be put to the additional fields of the table.
I create the Zmaterials (table contents minus the additional fields) object and populate these fields with the 4 fields of data.
How should I put the additional data to the table here ?

Why QUAN_PO_E field in BBP_PDIGP tabl is not reset when PO item is deleted?

Hi Gurus,
For some reason, after an item is deleted at PO, its corresponding QUAN_PO_E field in BBP_PDIGP table of SC has the same quantity ( for example, 3 pieces ).
When the buyer access the SOCO, the item is not displayed because previously the system make a validation: if quantity is equal to quan_po_e ( the difference is zero ), eliminates the item to display and reset the SOURCE_REL_IND to space.
Somebody knows the reason for which the field QUAN_PO_E is not updated with the value of zero after deleting the items of the purchase order?
How can I update the QUAN_PO_E field on safe way maintaining the data consistency?

Could you please check if note 1326380 is implemented ?
The implementation of this note will not affect the older SC which
didn't return to sourcing after PO deletion. But the issue should not
happen for the POs that are deleted after the implementation of the
note.
Please, check if field QUAN_PO_E (table BBP_PDIGP) was not cleared after
PO deletion.
If not, you can clear this field for the SC item (for which the PO has
been deleted), then clean_reqreq_up should send the SC to sourcing.
So a work around would be to manually delete this field, and run
clean_reqreq_up again.

I believe you CAN find this only when you are creating lv_string from your structure (or whatever it is).
So paste that code that what is your 'structure' type and on what conditions you want to Fill lv_string from it.

If you have a custom or standard Structure from which you need to fill lv_string, then you should have no worries to full VBAK~ or VBAP~ because fieldnames will be always unique in any Structure and hence ~ additions are not necessarily needed.
The issue can be in the case where you are picking few fields each from std tables VBAK and VBAP in your lv_string and
your "(from_tab)" is an inner join condition. I believe in that case you should be able to identify VBAK~ and VBAP~ while populating lv_string itself. Also you can use DB view MASSVBAP.

Adding fields to database table and copying data from other fields

I am having a database table where in I am having a column 'FIELD1'.
My requirement is that I want to add two more fields in the table 'FIELD2' and 'FIELD3'.
I then want to copy all the data in field1 to field2 and field3. then I want to delete the original field1.
for Ex.
lets say FIELD1 = 100.
now I want to add FIELD2 and FIELD3 in the table and make FIELD2 = 100 AND FIELD3 = 100. The FIELD1 will be deleted from table.
Please suggest the methods to do so.

Inserting Lots of fields into multiple tables

Hi, i would like to enter lots of fields into mutiple tables
in my access database. I have 6 pages which in turn have a
different set of forms which must be inserted into its own table. I
tried to insert some information into the table but because my
database is a relational db i get an error message "You cannot add
or change a record because a related record is required in table
'Hosting'. Im not entirely sure what this error means but it is
quite urgent that this is sorted. Another way in which i tried it
was to carry all the form values over each page and recarry them
onto the final 'insert' page but i cannot insert more than one
insert record behavior and if i do i get a dim error message.
Can somebody please help me this is very urgent.

The error means that you are trying to insert a record into a
table that is
dependent upon some of the information being in a higher
table, so you need
to do the inserts in the correct order.
There is an old tutorial on the MM site on how to handle
multiple tabel
inserts, which you may find useful.
