URGENT HELP for Ranges keyword

Can any one tell me usage of keyword RANGES is recommended or it is OBSOLETE.

The RANGES is used even now a days as if you have a lot many constants and you need to use them internally then you can build a range.
It will work same as Select Options..
The difference is Select options take the values from the screen externally.
and Ranges are used internally and get the values from the internal logic..
It is mostly used when you have comparision or in Select Query..
For Eg...
Select kunnr from kna1
where kunnr in s_kunnr
and land1 in r_land1.
Here r_land1 is a range with countries only limiting to say Asia Pacific, like IN, AU, NZ, JP etc..

No more connections available to this remote computer...Urgent Help for File server...
Hi Guys,
I need urgent help regards to our school File server which is having "No more connection to this remote computer error"
on SMB Shares where I usually authenticate with a domain username it used to work fine since till 3 weeks ago.
Now I can browse the SMB shares with only IP... Netbios gets straight away this error message from non-domain joined pc's where the computer needs to connect to the SCCM distribution point on this file server.
Strangely, Domain joined pc's does not have this problem at all they can use Netbios or IP no problem at all. But someone from a standalone laptop or desktop who needs to access shares through netbios gets this message.
Can someone help me please?
I did check DNS yet there is no problem on DNS I checked PTR record for the server to make sure it is not turned in to multihome accidently but nothing at all.
I also did a NETMON where I captured the data from server and the client I get these errors:

After doing bit of a backtrack, site DC's were out of sync with PDC with time.
Also Time service was shutdown on PDC which has been enabled and pointed to the Australian pool ntp IP address.
Everything is back on track now.

Very urgent help - for update field1 nowait across databaselink
Hi,
We have a form that uses select for update field1 nowait for a table that is accessed across a database link. When we try to do this the form errors out giving frm-92101 error. If I comment out the for update statement then it works fine. I know it the for update that is causing the problem but I'm not sure how to fix it. Can someone help me please. Very urgent, we are in the middle of upgrade and we found this issue while testing the forms.
Any ideas or suggestions ?
I'm using 10g App.Server and 10g database.

Davidorg.xml.sax.SAXParseException: The root element is required in a well-formed document.This often means that the parser can't find the document. You think it should be able to find the document because your test code could. However if your test code was not in the same package as your real (failing) code, your test is no good because getResourceAsStream("conf/config.xml") is looking for that file name relative to the package of the class that contains that line of code.
If your test code wasn't in any package, put a slash before the filename and see if that works. -
Needed urgent help for user creation in security manager in ODI 11g
Hi Gurus,
I have an urgent requirement in ODI security manager and i am completely helpless. We need specific steps for the user creation with sufficient priviledges. The detailed requirements are:
1. There is a group of users under the framework team and these users should be able to edit the Knowledge modules only. All other objects (e.g. projects, interface, procedures or development related objects) should only be in read only mode for them.
2. There is a group of users under the development team. The priviledges of these users should be mutually exclusive to that of the framework team users. i.e. the development team should be able to edit or delete all development related objects (e.g. projects, interface, proc etc.) but the knowledge modules should only be in read only mode for them.
Now I will explain what i have tried out:
I am working on ODI 11.1.1.5.
I have created a user with NG DESIGNER and CONNECT profile. Dragged and dropped all the projects on the user and selected all methods in all repositories (check sign). However when i connect with that user i cannot open the KMs (as far as development team is concerned its fine) but i can also not open interfaces as well as procedures (which is not acceptable from development point of view).
Also when i tried creating a user from the framework team point of view i could not see any option related to KMs (To give edit priviledge).
Please help me out guys. I have also searched oracle documentation and believe me the security manager section is not very good. If you guys can help me out with specific steps it would be great (I have tried the hints given in oracle documentation and they dont work, the ODI security manager behaves strangely :-(

I am employed for Coca Cola at Mexico, in the company we develop a program in Java for the Nokia 6670, which registers the sale of our product to the clients. This program comes out into the server for Bluetooth. Now well we cannot unload cellular several simultaneously for that all the Bluetooth of these equipments have Mac Address the same (00:02:5b:00:a5:a5), nowadays we have 200 of these equipments. Is it possible they to change this Mac Address? I am grateful for the help that they could give us.

Asking urgent help for UI problems

Now, as for the UIs we want to get, we require that when users press one button on UI1 with "Enter" in keyboard(not using mouse), another UI2 would appear in front. Moreover, when users press "ESC" in keyboard, it can also return back from UI2 to UI1.
However, we have some following problems as below:

Hi fellows,
I got one text file of 9816 records (9816 lines) seprated by commas and enclosed by the inverted quotes and seprated by the end of lines. But when I import the file, it only gets half of records in the table using below mentioned command;
LOAD DATA INFILE 'user.txt' INTO TABLE userdata
FIELDS TERMINATED BY ',' ENCLOSED BY '"'
LINES TERMINATED BY '\n'
(category, fname, lname, adresse, zip, city, telephone, email, homepage);
I get the below mentoned message;

Note: "" fields are empty(missing data) i.e.(in some records, one is missing faxnumber and in some records one is missing homepage and in some one is missing telephone as well. That's why I have to use the empty quotes for representing that field.

URGENT Help for applet with JAR file in Netscape
I am having Applet with few classes
Html is in /www directory
and all class files are in /www/javaclassfiles
I jared all javaclassfiles with following command
c:\www\javaclassfiles>jar -cvf sample.jar TaxPaymentAppletForm.class *.class
where sample.jar is my jar file and TaxPaymentAppletForm.class is the main applet class file.
THEN I DELETED ALL CLASS FILES & KEPT ONLY SAMPLE.JAR FILE ON SERVER
My html code is like below:

I have total 8 Application servers. today I have genereated EWA report and in that report, for SAP kernel section it has reported that <b>"You are running different SAP kernel releases on your instances. This situation may lead to severe problems and is not supported by SAP.
Recommendation: Use only one kernel release for all instances."</b>
Actaully I have updated kernel in my central instance (/sapmnt/<SID>/exe) and this directory is NFS mount in all the application server. So I am not sure why the SAP EWA is repoting this that you are running difference SAP Kerenl release.
If this is correct then how to rectify it ? what action I need to take to resolve this ?

The comment isn´t related to to usage of sapcpe. The comment means, that you have at least one application server, that uses local binaries with a different patchlevel instead of those on the central instance. I would consider that more critical. Maybe you installed one of the servers later and used a newer installation CD set which creates that new structure for using sapcpe by default... don´t know, just a guess. To check, go to SM51 and select each server and press on "Release Information", you will see which one is affected.

Kernels lower than 6.10 use a different approach (the "ctrun directory" mentioned in that note) - technically it´s the same. The installation guides for 4.6c should tell you how to set that up.

I've bought a BlackBerry 9380 and everything seems to be working except for setting up my emails.
Everything I read says: Go to 'Settings' then 'Email Setup', but I do not have email set up in my settings, I only have an option that says 'Email Accounts', which for the BB9380 I'm sure you have to do.
However, everytime I click it, it says 'Connecting to email settings...' and after a couple of minutes it will say: 'Your device had a problem connecting to the server.' And everytime I click retry, the same thing occurs. All my wireless settings are on, my signal's good etc, but I can't find how to sort this anywhere.
All I want to do is add m hotmail email address to my BlackBerry so the emails come straight through to my phone.
