Urgent: Multiple DDK's in a WD application

Question

Hi All,
In my application we are using 3 DDK's. On selecting the one entry in 1st DDK the entries in the second DDK should get populated, similarly on selection of one entry the corresponding entries should get populated in 3rd DDK UI element.
All this data is fetched from BAPI.
Could any one help me in coding.
It is urgent....

Hi Sekar,
There is an event OnSelect for each dropdownbyKey UI element.
As you say that all your data in ddk will be populated from RFC then bind the corresponding node to your dropdown. If its node then you have to go for dropdownbyIndex.
You can initially execute the first BAPI in WDDoInit() method to get the values for the first dd.

wdContext.node<inputnode>().bind(input);
input.set<attributevalue>(<value>); // if any value needs to be passed to backend.
try
wdContext.node<inputnode>().current<inputnode>Element().modelObject().execute();
wdContext.node<outputnode>().invalidate();
catch(Exception e)
// handle exception
You can now call 2nd BAPI on OnSelect event of the frist dd. similarly, 3rd BAPI on select of 2nd dd as per your requirement.
