Urgent ......regarding date format in SAP Script

In my MAIN WINDOW I have date fields like Date of Manifacture, created date and Expiry date.
So, currently I am using SET DATE MASK = 'YYYY-MM' and it is printing same format for all fields.
But now my requirement is I want to show date for Expiry Date like 'YYYY-MM-DD'. For this I defined one temparary variable in the form like below
DEFINE &outdate& = &mchar-vfdat&
SET &outdate& MASK = 'YYYY-MM-DD'.
but still it is showing format YYYY-MM...
Plz help me how to print my desired date format...

Hi Kishore kumar,
What you can do is befor printing the Expiry date set the date Mask as 'YYYY-MM-DD' and after printing your Expiry Date again set the DATE MASK to 'YYYY-MM'
i.e.
/: SET DATE MASK = 'YYYY-MM-DD'
&mchar-vfdat&
/: SET DATE MASK = 'YYYY-MM'

Date format in SAP Knowledge management

Hi Friends,
Is there an option to change the Date format in SAP Knowledge management. I want to change the date format from MM/DD/YY to DD/MM/YY for the created and modified date for a document in KM.
Found below information in help.sap. I searched in KM configuration -> Global Service for the setting. But I am not sure how or where to cheange it.

Hello Kamesh,
if you look at the SAP Help link, you see that it is a part of the "Property Metadata Service" (the point one level up). There you see, where you can find the service itself in the portal and if you look at the "Related Areas" you should find "Property Metadata" (at least I do in my 7.31 portal ).
From there the link you found yourself should guide you well to do the changes you wish.

How to convert date format into sap standard format?

In SAPUI5 screen i have one simple form in form i have date field which is format (MM/DD/YYYY). but i am getting POST error while inserting the data in to sap table.
I want convert date format in sap format (YYYY/MM/DD).
One more issue, when i am fetching the data from sap table,but the date display with time and time zone.
eg. Sat Aug 02 2014 05:30:00 GMT+0530 (India Standard Time)

Get OTF data of an SAP SCRIPT

Hi,
I have a situation where I have to call a standard report from my custom report which is based on some condition.
This is fine. But the standard report which I am calling is print program of an SAP Script.
So, the requirement now is that my custom report should be able to send an email of the SAP Script output. For this I need to have the OTF data of the SAP Script in my custom report.
How to get this?

In rvorder01 for i'm getting sale order number and date from &VBDKA-VBELN& / &VBDKA-AUDAT& fields but when i'm printing date (VBDKA-AUDAT) it is printing as 23.09.2007 but my requirement is to print the date in 23/09/2007 format . can any one plzz let me know how to convert date format.

Date printing in SAP SCRIPT

I am workin in sap script, here i had used
PERFORM GET_DATE IN PROGRAM ZTEST
USING &EKPO-EBELN&
USING &EKPO-EBELP&
CHANGING &DEL_DATE&
ENDPERFORM
AND in subroutine program i had writen logic to fetch date,
but when I am printing date in my script, it is printed in format yyyymmdd, and i wan it in dd.mm.yyyy
so is there any standard way i can do it?

Hi Binu,
It is not possible to rotate text in SAPscript. The usual work-around, provided this is static text and not from a variable, is to scan an image of the text and include it as a graphic.

I am having a problem while displaying the address in SAP Script through Address EndAddress.
Problem is it is displaying the data correctly but it display the Region Code. Now the requirement is to display the Region Description instead of the Region Code.

Page format for SAP-Script not working in 4.6C

Hi all,
I have a problem regarding check printing.
I am using SAP version 4.6C
The size of paper for check printing is
width = 231 mm
Height = 304 mm
So for this I have created a new page format with these details in SPAD.
Then I assigned this Page format to spool format and assigned that spool format to SAPWIN driver. I have assigned this page format to the SCRIPT that is used for check printing .
But when I am taking the print out for the check with new page format, the printer dont print till the end of page, it prints till the total amount on check and then stops there. So this creates an alignment problem when taking printout for multiple checks.
Please give some solution for this.

I guess you are printing on dot matrix printer. If yes, try to do some physical printer settings for the dot matrix printer by following the printer manual. I guess you have to change the page size.. or set default printer settings... it may help you to solve your problem...
if not goto your device types tab in SPAD and select device types.. select your device from the list (for ex, SAPWIN) click format and goto the format that you have inserted for this device types.. double click on your format, you will see printer Indialization.. try to write code like this
set page length to 8.5 inch (=52 lines at 6 LPI)
\e\0x43\0x44
Note the above hexa decimal value can be obtained by going through the printer manual.

Regarding Multiple pages in SAP Script Output

Hi All,
I have a requirement in SAP Script where i need to print data in multiple pages. I had created 1 page - FIRST with properties Next Page as FIRST , Mode as INC.
In the output i have multiple line items, the data will carry upto 3 pages.
Now In the output First page data is printing correctly.
In the second page all the windows are carried forward to print all the data correctly except in MAIN WINDOW.
In Second page in MAIN Window i have ITEM HEADER which i want to print on every page as it is printing in First page of output, but i am not been able print ITEM HEADER though i am able to print all the ITEM DETAILS correctly on every page.
Can anybody tell how can i print ITEM HEADER on every page which is in MAIN Window.

Hi Shaik,
If you are only printing Item Details in the Main Window, why don't you create a saperate window just above your main window for Item Headers.

In my project i am picking the date from the date picker which is a javascript program . Then i am displaying it on a jsp page .It is coming in mm/dd/yyyy format .I have to change it to dd/mm/yyyy format .
I have the code for date formatting conversion .
What my doubt is whether the code should be written inside the jsp page or in the javascript .

i am taking the data from vbak table into one internal table T_vbak, in that i am having vdatu field also, and after that using GUI_Download function module i am downloading that internal table data to one text file into presentation server.
But the date format is displaying in yyyymmdd format in the text file, but i want the format like mm/dd/yyyy in the text file, can anybody plz help me....

You can use the following conversion routine for converting the date from yyyymmdd format into mm/dd/yyyy.
data: l_date(10) type c.
Loop at t_vbak into wa_vbak.
CONCATENATE wa_vbak-vdatu4(2) wa_vbak-vdatu6(2) wa_vbak-vdatu(4) INTO l_date SEPARATED BY '/'.
wa_vbak-vdatu = l_date.
modify t_vbak from wa_vbak.

I want to change the Date format in BEx reports. Currently I am getting MM DD YYYY. But I need it as DD MM YYYY. I had gone thru numerous posting on this issue. I changed the Date Settings in SU3. But still I am not getting the Date in correct format. Is there any other place that I have to correct the Date format???

I feel in your case, going to the System (in menu)-User Profile-Own data then, you get, Maintain user profile. Here you have the option of Maintaining, Date format.
