URL for Deployed WAR not accesible 10.1.2

Hi,
I Installled App10G (OID Infrastructure) from OCS.
I created new OC4J instance with OEM and deployed new war file to it succesfully.
Evrything seems to be configured correctly web.xml....
But url is not accessible.Please
Help.
JO

Ok
I am deploying my war with AppServer 10.1.2 shipped with Oracle collab suite which consists of two App Servers one for the Infrastructure (OID,SSO,...) and One for the Mid tier (OCS Web , Content .Services....)
The first has port 7777 as the HTTP port and the second has 7778 calling for example
http://server:7777/oiddas redirects to http://server:7778/oiddas
and work
But as my war has been deployed on infra tier calling http://server:7777/etst redirects http://server:7778/test where test in not known.
How to make such redirection work??
I check Mid Tier mod_oc4j and there is no conf got oiddad though http://server:7778/oiddas is working.
Do you catch my point?
Please advise...
Thanks
JO

  • WEB-INF/web.xml not found exception for deployed war on server startup

Weblogic server is throwing an exception indicating that it can't find
web.xml on startup when a particular war file is deployed. The exception
              and my web.xml follow below.
There are some other strange elements to this:
              1) The deployed war in the application directory has a valid web.xml in the
              web-inf folder.
              2) The war in the servers temp directory corresponding to my war contains
only the files found in WEB-INF in the deployed jar, but not those found in
web-inf (case matters). These files are in the root of the war, not in a
              WEB-INF folder!
              3) The servlets in the war do load and are invokable.
              4) If I redeploy the jar while the server is still running, I get no
exception, and the temp war then has the correct structure (with a WEB-INF
              folder and contains web.xml).

              Interesting.
              This shouldn't happen though.
Can you stop the server delete the .wl_temp_do_not_delete
dir? Let's see if that makes any difference.

  • IISARR URLS for Lync 2013 not working externally

    Hello All,
Currently facing issue of opening lyncdiscover.domain.com from external.
I have created the server farm uing IISARR for Lync2013 & added 5 rules under the server farm as shown below:
    meet.domain.com
    dialin.domain.com
    lyncdiscover.domain.com
    owebapp.domain.com
When I tried browse all the above URL's none of the URLs are opening & showing below errors as attached screen shot:
Also when I tried test by using Lync 2013 Connectivity Analyzer showing below errors

  • Why doesn't the url for a page not show when I open a 2nd firefox window?

Whenever I open another Firefox window, the address bar is blank. If I type in an address, it'll navigate to the site but all subsequent sites will not be reflected in the address bar.
Also, why is there an orange "Firefox pull down menu" always on these secondary windows?

Does the problem occur when you run in Firefox [[Safe Mode]]? If not, then see the [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]] article for help finding the cause of the problem.
On the orange Firefox "pull down menu" menu, do you mean the [[How do I get the Firefox Button?|Firefox Button]] that replaces the Menu Bar (at the top left of each Firefox window) or something else?

  • URL for Downloading Licensed FlashPlayer Does Not Work

I reapplied for a license to distribute FlashPlayer back in October and was granted a license and a specific URL to download FlashPlayer for distribution on our intranet.  The URL does not work and instead of downloading FlashPlayer the only option is to apply for another license.  I attempted to engage Adobe via Chat and they said I have to post here, but this does not make a lot of sense since the email with the license said the URL for downloading may not be shared with anyone, hence why I am not posting here.
So have others received a license from Adobe with a non-working URL?  How did you get someone at Adobe to respond?

    Hi Eddie,
I will forward this to the Licensing folks and will post back when I have a response.

  • Deploying WAR file using IAS Test Drive edition...

    Hi:
Is it okay to deploy a build using a WAR file instead of an EAR file? Is
there any documentation for deploying WAR files? All the available docs and
    examples start with EAR files.
    Thanks,
    George

    Hi,
A war file is okay if you are using servlets & JSP, WAR means Web Archive.
So you can very well go ahead with a war file, incase you are thinking of EJB's
then a .ear file will help you.

    Hi Vipin,
Might be the way you're deploying your ADF UI project.
Are you right clicking the name of your ADF UI project in the Application Navigator tab and then clicking "Deploy"? While this works great for your BPM composite project, you'll get errors like this when deploying the ADF project in the same manner.

  • Site not Opening as it is saying Cannot make a cache safe URL for "1033/style library/lg/jquery-1.9.1.js

Please can any one help on this
When try to open site it is giving this error
Cannot make a cache safe URL for "1033/style library/lg/jquery-1.9.1.js
but same site is opening for other users

Solution 1 :Deploy your script files under Style Library of your site.
if it is not working try the below
Sometimes you will get the error as "Cannot make a cache safe URL for "1033/sp.debug.js", file not found. Please verify that the file exists under the layouts directory. " For this you can copy the sp.debug.js file and put it inside C:\Program Files\Common
    Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\14\TEMPLATE\LAYOUTS\1033.
    - Another solution is you can add Localizable = false  attribute to SharePoint:ScriptLink like below:
    <SharePoint:ScriptLink language="javascript" name="/foldername/JS/newjsfile.js" Localizable = false runat="server"/>
    - Apart from this you can also give file path simply using script tag like below (provided file should be deployed inside StyleLibrary):
    <script src="/Style%20Library/foldername/scripts/slides.min.jquery.js"type="text/javascript"> </script>

  • Dreamweaver cs4 or mx2004 may built .war or .jar files for deployment in a jsp server (Tomcat) ? If no, and use Dreamweaver  how do these files ?

Dreamweaver cs4 or mx2004 may built .war or .jar files for deployment in a jsp server (Tomcat) ? If no, and use Dreamweaver  how do these files ?

if I use Eclipse IDE for compilation[make *.war & *.jar files from *.java like claimBeans.java], I must use also Eclipse for upload/deploy ? Or for upload ONLY I may use and dreamweaver ? The jsp section of dreamweaver, is for app not require compilation, like from Code from:JSP STANDARD TAG LIBRARY , only ?
Basically whatever I may do with "JavaBeans", "Servlets" etc (*.java files) needed to get compiled, I may also do it with JSP STANDARD TAG LIBRARY etc NOT NEEDED Compilation, so if I do not understand how to compile&deploy *.war & *.jar files , I may use instead the latter way ?

  • How to find the WSDL URL for my deployed portlet

    Hello,
I do not find the WSDL URL for my deployed portlet. I deployed a Portlet correctly with JDeveloper to a remote Oracle AS.
    In the tutorial they write:
"Now use the URL provided in the log page at the bottom of JDeveloper to get part of your URL (e.g. http://myserver.uk.oracle.com:8888/my-portlet) and complete the URL.
    http://myserver.uk.oracle.com:8888/my-portlet/portlets?WSDL
Now use this URL to register your portlet with OracleAS Portal."
But in the log there is nothing like this! The log ends like this:
    "DCM command completed successfully.
    Output:
Exit status of DCM servlet client: 0
Elapsed time for deployment: 13 seconds
    ---- Deployment finished. ---- 11-Mar-2006 12:26:58"
Can anyone tell me where to finde the WSDL Url?
    Thank you.

OK I think that I found a quick workaround for this issue. Creating a redirection URL using the parameter icm/HTTP/redirect_<xx> works for me.
    Parameter:
icm/HTTP/redirect_0    (Value '0' may differ for your system)
    Value:
    PREFIX=/ws1, TO=/sap/bc/srt/wsdl/srvc_08002720027F1EE3AEAAFED3B5688C63/wsdl11/allinone/ws_policy/document?sap-client=001
Now the WSDL URL can be reached at
    http://was730.dvlopr.com:8000/ws1
    Tested!
    Best regards

    Hello Kewal,
Thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing when trying to perform an update.  I recommend trying to update using iTunes, and as always, it is a good idea to make a backup first.

  • Web Location URLs for Office 2007 documents (pptx, xlsx, docx) not working

In our current Content Server solution implemented, each content has a Web Location URL and a Native File associated with it. The Web Location URL(for a content in Public security group) is of the following format:
    http://ucmurl/groups/public/intranetcontent/CONTENT_ID.doc
So far when a user clicks on this link, they are just presented with an 'Open' 'Save' dialog box, which clearly shows that UCM identifies this file format. So for a Word 2003 document called test.doc, the Open-Save dialog box says:
    Name: test.doc
    Type: Microsoft Word document..etc.
The behaviour is the same for all Office 2003 documents, pdfs and images. However, it seems like UCM does not identify Office 2007 documents. When I check-in a content - test.pptx, and click on the Web Location URL, it prompts me to Open/Save a 'ZIP' file, which is what UCM does for any unidentified file formats.
Any suggestions on how to fix this?
The file formats under configuration manager have been updated to include the following formats with PASSTHRU conversion (since we dont need any conversion on these):
    pptx: application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.presentationml.presentation
    docx: application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.wordprocessingml.document
    xlsx: application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.spreadsheetml.sheet
The desired functionality is that when the user clicks on web location url, UCM should identify these file formats, and NOT consider them as ZIP files. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try these - if you're using IIS. If not, them something similar should fix.
Update IIS to include additional MIME types
Also, if you want to add all of the Microsoft Office 2007 mime-types to IIS in one step you can do this:
    1. Stop IIS
    2. Edit the metabase XML file (C:\WINDOWS\system32\inetsrv\MetaBase.xml) using a text editor.
    3. Search for the <IIsMimeMap Location="/LM/MimeMap" …> element and append the lines below to the MimeMap attribute
