URLs in document function - HTTP authorization error

Hello,
I am trying to connect via DBUri from xquery: document('http://servername:8080/oradb/ISPROB/ISP_XMLS'); every time i get oracle.xquery.XQException: Server returned HTTP response code: 401 (unauthorized) for URL error. How to pass username and password or turn off the authorization.
Regards,
Michael

Michael,
This is a limitation with the current preview release. The DBURI authentication is also necessary to login into an Oracle database instance.

• Resolving url after document() function has been called by the xslt

I am having problems resolving a URI when document() function in my xslt is called. The xml document that is being called has a reference to a dtd that is in another location of the webserver. When document() is called it downloads the xml document then tries to download the referenced dtd from the same location. I get an error kinda like this.
file:///C:/dev.xsl; Line 15; Column 62; Can not load requested doc: File "http://dev.server.com/templatedata/lhj/story/data/dcr4.5.dtd" not found.
The DTD is in a different location on the server and that is why it can not find it. I have tried resolving the URL but have been unsucessfull. See my java solution that does not work. How can I fix this? Any assistance will be greatly appreciated
Java solution
try {
TransformerFactory tFactory = TransformerFactory.newInstance();
tFactory.setURIResolver(new XMLURIResolver());
Transformer transformer = tFactory.newTransformer(new StreamSource(xslFile));
File f = new File(xmlFile);
FileReader fr = new FileReader(f);
InputSource inputSource = new InputSource(fr);
transformer.transform(new SAXSource(inputSource),
new StreamResult(new FileOutputStream(outPutPath)));
Vince.

here is the resolver. The if in never excuted.
public class XMLURIResolver implements URIResolver{
public static final String DTD_HREF = "dcr4.5.dtd";
public Source resolve(String s, String s1) throws TransformerException{

System.out.println("s1 = " + s1);
InputStreamReader isr = null;
try{
if (s.indexOf(DTD_HREF) != -1){
System.out.println("Fetching DTD....");
URL url = new URL("http://mydomain/xml/validation/dcr4.5.dtd");
isr= new InputStreamReader(url.openStream());
return new SAXSource(new InputSource(isr));
}catch(MalformedURLException mue){

• Authorization error while attaching document in ME22N

Hi,
Scenario 1: I attach a document in ME22N and then save it. Result: I get an authorization error.
Error is: "You have no authorization for extensions (activity03)"
Scenario 2: I just make a change (say in price) without attaching any document and then when i try to save it. Result: There is no authorization error.
Message (output) type in both the cases is EDI.
On further investigation, we found the authority-check abap statement which is responsible for throwing the error.
authority-check           object authority_obj_edi_deftool
id 'EDI_TCD'  field  authority_tcode_edi_deftool
id 'ACTVT'    field  pi_activity
id 'EDI_DOC'  DUMMY
id 'EDI_CIM'  field  pi_cimtyp.
This statement gets executed for both the scenarios and with the SAME variables but it throws error in case of scenario 1 only.
Following are the values of the variables in BOTH cases:
authority_obj_edi_deftool = S_IDOCEFT
authority_tcode_edi_deftool = WE30
pi_activity = 03
pi_cimtyp = Z2ORDERS02
Any help is appreciated.

• Error with single quotes in open document function

Hi all,
I have an issue with the special characters using the open document function. I'm passing a name, and I'm using the URLEncode function, but it doesn't work for single quotes, it shows a javascript error. I tried with HTMLEncode and it works for single quotes, but not for the other special characters like @,+. I tried with both functions at the same time but it doesn't work either.
Please let me know if you know how to solve it.
Thanks,

• NO Authorization error when accessing Functional module RH_CUT_OBJECT

Hi,
I am getting NO AUTHORIZATIOn error when I am executing SE37-->FUNCTIONAL OBJECT-RH_CUT_OBJECT.
I also checked SU53 screenshot which says AUTHORIZATION CHECK SUCCESSFUL and there are no errors or missing authorizations highlighted in SU53.
I switched on the TRACE-ST01 then also the error is not captured.
I would like to know WHY am I getting NO AUTHORIZATION error.
I am already having access to T-CODE SE37, SE11, SE80, SMARTFORMS and authorization object S_DEVELOP.
I need to know this ASAP on why I am getting NO AUTHORIZATION error when I am trying to access the FUNCTIONAL MODULE RH_CUT_OBJECT whereas I am having all the required authorization required for ABAP Developer including SE37.
Is it something I need change at ABAP code level.
Please advise ASAP.

The reason is ..You do not have acess to see/acess the data this FM is trying to acess ...Debug the function module keep a breakpoint at The Raise statement see which authorization you do not have ....BTW this is my guess you are trying to demilit certain objects /infotypes using this FM and delimit basically makes that object non-usable in that system .So it is quite evident that every one will not have authorization for that .Please post in detail that what is it that you are trying to achieve using this function module .....
Also you can check with debugging which authority object is being checked before raising the message and can ask security team to get that added to your profile ....
Thanks,
Anjaneya

• Lync 2013 Simple URLs Configuration (HTTP 404 Error in Browser)

Hello All,
We have have many SIP domains, and want them to have separate Meet simple URLs and also want to minimize the DNS record and certificate requirements for these simple URLs.
So i have changed the default simple urls configuration as defined in below link:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg398287.aspx
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg425874.aspx
Simple URL Naming Option 3
Simple URL
Example
Meet
https://lync.contoso.com/contosoSIPdomain/Meet
https://lync.contoso.com/fabrikamSIPdomain/Meet
Dial-in
https://lync.contoso.com/Dialin
Admin
https://lync.contoso.com/Admin
After changing the configuration now i getting below error on all URLs:
HTTP Error 404.0 - Not FoundThe resource you are looking for has been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable
Topology is properly published and Enable-CSComputer
is also run on SHELL.
Get-CsSimpleUrlConfiguration is also showing new Simple URLs and I have also generated a new certificate.
But still new simple URLs (dialin, meet , admin)are giving HTTP Error 404 in browser.
Also default old urls https://meet.domain.xx.xx are still working.

I have restart the server and also restart IIS service. DNS has A record entry for lync.contoso.com.
But still all three below Urls are giving HTTP 404 error.
Meet
https://lync.contoso.com/contosoSIPdomain/Meet
https://lync.contoso.com/fabrikamSIPdomain/Meet
Dial-in
https://lync.contoso.com/Dialin
Admin
https://lync.contoso.com/Admin
And old default urls are still opening. CNAME for meet, Dailin and admin is still in DNS.
meet : https://meet.contoso.com
We're having trouble getting you into the meeting.
It's possible you're using a bad URL. Try calling into the meeting using the phone number on the invite, or ask the organizer to drag you into the meeting from the Contacts list.

• Authorization Error on Peoplesoft Login Page

Hi, this is related to the previous project we are still working on.
Invoking a Java Method from Peoplecode
While we have found that our approach have been successful in Dev and Test Environments, once we migrated the changes to Production, it seem to have stoppped working. Our client wants to test the link from Test Environment and would Single Sign On to the Production environment. But we are getting this eror, Authorization Error -- Contact your Security Administrator on the Peoplesoft login page when the link is clicked from the Third Party website.
The node setup for Dev, Test and Prod environments under Node Definitions are using PSFT_CR as the default local node and are all working when ping'ed. The defaut user that is used for allowing public access in the Web Profile are setup'ed just the same in all three environments, and application/web servers have been restarted as well.
One thing we noticed is that the url of the third party website is http and the url for the PS prod is https. Could this be the one causing the error, or have we missed something on the setup.
Again, we appreciate your insights regarding this.

Have you tried the steps suggested by

previous thread you queried ?
Is the error the same that you were previously encountering ?

• Log SSP and Authorization Errors

I asked for this on the feature request website
"It seems that apex does not log SSP errors or Authorization errors, or if it does, they are no available in an apex view. For example, if a user changes the page number in the url to a page he is not authorized to see, an error page is dispalyed, telling him that he cannot see this page. As far as I can tell, this error is not logged in the apex views. Same goes for, when a user tries to change an id in the url."
My item was closed with the comments
"The error messages are logged into the activity log if activity logging is enabled for your application. Have a look at the column ERROR_MESSAGE in the view APEX_WORKSPACE_ACTIVITY_LOG. "
Well I tested it again.
I went to a page and changed the item_id and I received the checksum violation message.
I then did a select * FROM APEX_WORKSPACE_ACTIVITY_LOG and looked for the error message.
There was no error message.
Can someone else try this
Gus

Hi Gus,
I just have setup another test at apex.oracle.com
workspace: patricks_test
user: guest
pwd: 123456
1) Run application 24683 and login as guest/123456
2) If you click "Customers" you will get the authorization error
3) If you click "Products" and then pick a product to navigate to page 6 and afterwards modify the value of P6_PRODUCT_ID you will get the checksum error
4) In the Builder navigate to Administration -> Monitor Activity -> By Application -> 24683 and you will see the entries of APEX_WORKSPACE_ACTIVITY_LOG
When you did the query on APEX_WORKSPACE_ACTIVITY_LOG, did you verify that your app is writing activity logs at all? And second, have you connected with the parsing user of your application?

If i am using 11G andrtp is 11g but on rtp side if they configure SSL, is it mandatory to do it from our side also?No it not mandatory to enable SSL at your end however you have to configure identity and trsut at your end.
Any update on my regular question(The main forum question)?You mentioned that you are posting message from 10g to 11g and as per log you are sending it to URL - https://dev-nog.server:443/b2b/transportServlet
So few things which I see as a problem are-
1. You should use URL https://hostname:soa_server_ssl_port/b2b/httpReceiver instead of https://dev-nog.server:443/b2b/transportServlet
2. SOA server SSL port should be enabled (SSL should be enabled on SOA server)
3. You should configure wallet at 10g side to contain trust cert of 11g server

Hi,
I have checked the logs. I am getting errors like the below:
1. com.sap.engine.services.servlets_jsp.server.deploy.impl.exceptions.WCEApplicationNotStartedException: The application [sap.com/com.sap.portal.ivs.iviewservice] is configured to have ALWAYS start up mode. Currently it is in STOPPED status - because of this it will not be started implicitly by the Web Container service and any internal operation that needed this application to be running will fail. There are two possible reasons for STOPPED status: 1) The application failed to start during cluster startup. 2) The application is stopped by system administrator.
2. .info.exception.WD4VCRuntimeException: FAILED: process plan id: generatedBindPlan_CWG_UI action: null
3. Thread HTTP Worker [2] failed to acquire exclusive lock on client session
But the data is being processed by the code correctly. I tried printing the final values of the o/p and the values are as expected.

• Looking for example - abap xslt - that uses xslt document() function

Hello,
I'm looking for an example that shows the use of abap xslt with the xslt document() function. Using the xslt document() function seems like a straightforward way to use xslt to create a result xml document by processing the content of two or more
source documents. For example, if source document A.xml and aux.xml are available in memory as xstringand using stylesheet ztransformwhat would be the argument for the document() function to associate aux.xml. Thanks for any insight.

Hi,
Sorry, perhaps I should have been clearer! The function that I picked just to test what you need to do just happened to return a string that contains SPAN tags with style attributes. The actual function code is:
create or replace FUNCTION out_string_fn
RETURN VARCHAR2
IS
CURSOR emp_cur
IS
SELECT ename
FROM emp;
v_string   VARCHAR2 (4000);
BEGIN
v_string := ' ';
FOR c IN emp_cur
LOOP
v_string :=
v_string
|| '<SPAN style="font-weight:bold;color:green">'
|| c.ename
|| '</SPAN>'
|| ', </br></br>';
END LOOP;
RETURN v_string;
END;And this returned a naff list in green (see [http://apex.oracle.com/pls/otn/f?p=55041:57] and click the Test button) - but it does show that you can style the validation error messages

• XSLT document() function in PL/SQL XDK

I'm using the PL/SQL XDK (9.2.0.2.0) to do XSLT transformations but having
no success using the XSLT document() function.
I just get the error
ORA-20100: Error occurred while processing: XSL-1021: (Error) Error parsing
external document: 'wrongmachine.mycompany.com'.
Can the document function access an external xml file using http from pl/sql?
eg. http://amachine.mycompany.com/xmldocs/myxml.xml
I've tried setting the ref parameter of the newStylesheet function, assuming
this sets up the base uri for the stylesheet
xslss := xslProcessor.newStylesheet
(xmldoc => xsl_doc,
ref => 'http://amachine.mycompany.com/xmldocs');
I've also used the setBaseDir on both the DOMDocument and the stylesheet
xmlparser.setBaseDir(p => xsl_parser,
dir => 'http://amachine.mycompany.com/xmldocs');
I've tested the XSL stylesheet in Saxon and it works fine.
Other XSL transformations also work fine using the Oracle XDK but none that use
document()
'wrongmachine.mycompany.com' is not even the machine the code is executing on!?
Is this set up in an installation script?
Any ideas/examples on how document() can be used in the pl/sql XDK?
Thanks
John Holder

BTW: following this link
xsl:include within XSL stylesheet stored in XMLType column
i've encountered that this theme has been asked but none from Oracle staff has answered on it yet ;(((((((
