You will have to contact the Apple Store you bought the card from and ask, but if you scratched off the coating to expose the redemption code, then no, they won't take it back.

IPhone 4 from Apple store in Germany (Oberhausen) NOT UNLOCKED !

i have iPhone 4 factory unlocked, then i travelled to germany and my iphone had some problems so i went to the nearest Apple Store in Germany (Oberhausen)
and the Genius Bar told me that my iPhone can't be repaired and out of warranty so they told me that i can pay 150 euro to replace my iPhone.
So i payed and asked them SPECIFICALLY that whether it's FACTORY UNLOCKED like my old one and they said YES
now i am back to JORDAN and my iPhone doesn't ACCEPT any SIM CARDS ?
so what should i do ?????????
(when i put any sim it gives me = NO SERVICE, when i put O2 sim it works like a charm !!)

how to contact Apple support in Germany from India ? The number mentioned on the apple support page for German support is not reachale from India. if anyone has been successful in contacting apple support teams in another country, Kindly suggest.

Warranty and support is only valid in the country of origin, or in the case of a device purchased in an EU country, only in an EU country.
Unless you will be visiting an Apple store in one of the EU countries before the warranty expires, you are pretty much out of luck.
FYI, the Contact Us link at the bottom of the page provides the appropriate contact information for Apple.

I have just a question about VAT for Iphone 4s.
I'm not EU citizen, can i buy an Iphone 4s without VAT in Apple Store in Germany at once. Or first i need to:
1) fill in invoice
2)put a stamp on the Customs
3) return during 3 monthes to get back VAT

Apple Deutschland (Deutsch) Web site has many articles and tech Specs in German, but support communities sends you right here to this USA and Worldwide site. So I think there is no Apple support Community in German.

You can try, but the iPhone warranty terms state that Apple "may" restrict warranty/service to country of original purchase...key word here is "may".

IPhone 3GS from Apple store in Germany? Is it unlocked?

Hey everyone! I have a UK 02 contract with an unlocked iPhone 3GS (unlocked by 02 after my initial 18 months). I was having problems with the phone and Apple in Germany replaced it a couple of weeks ago under warranty (as it's a worldwide warranty and I'm living in Cologne right now). Anyway, am I right to think that this iPhone will be unlocked as I got it directly from an Apple store? It obviously works with a German sim I've tried but I've not got a UK one to try at the moment. I tried calling 02 and asking them; a guy told me it was definitely unlocked if straight from Apple but I'd like to hear from other people as I might sell it to a friend in the UK and don't want to if it's locked.

All you have to do is pop any sim into the phone other than the one you're currently using(different carrier). If the phone works with no error messages, its unlocked.

US Purchased Apple TV in Germany

I am moving to Germany and currently have Apple TV purchased in the US. Will it work in Germany? Does it require any different settings besides a power cord? Will I need to change my account from US based to German based and not be able to watch US movies?

I couldn't answer about the iPads, however with the iPhones, the following would apply. First, all post warranty support for the devices is only good in the US. The iPhone 4S would need to be unlocked to use in Europe. Since you have completed the contract, contact AT&T about the unlock. The Verizon 5s comes with the GSM side unlocked, but it would not support LTE in Germany. Someone else will have to answer the iPad questions. You might be better off posting in the iPad forum for answers to that, depending on where you made the post originally.

Wie schon an anderer Stelle in Englisch veröffentlicht, kann Apple TV auch an herkömmlichen Fernsehern betrieben werden. Dazu ist es jedoch erforderlich, das Apple TV-Video-Ausgangs-Signal (Component) in ein vom Fernseher verarbeitbares Signal (RGB) zu wandeln. Hier eine Lösung für in Deutschland verfügbares Zubehör:
1.Erfolgs-Voraussetzung ist festzustellen, ob der jeweilige Fernseher ein RGB-Eingangs-Signal verarbeiten kann.
In meinem Fall (Loewe Xelos 16:9) kann RGB über Scart an Eingang 2 und 3 eingestellt werden.
Also 2.Voraussetzung, RGB über Scart ist als Eingangssignal einstellbar und auch am Fernseher so eingestellt.
3. Voraussetzung: Es wird ein VIDEO KONVERTER benötig. In meinem Fall führte "Hama Video Konverter 2/3 Modell Nr. 00042513" zum Ziel. Kostenpunkt z.Zt. um die 90,- €.
Benötigtes Zubehör: Zudem wird zum Anschluß ein voll belegtes Scart-to-Scart Kabel (wohl in den meisten Fällen noch vorhanden z.B. vom alten Videorecorder) und ein Componenten Kabel ( je nach Länge ab ca. 30,- € bei guter Abschirmung) benötigt.
In meinem Fall konnte das Scart-Kabel nur an Scart-Anschluß-Buchse Nr.2 von 3 erfolgreich angeschlossen werden.
Aber dann war es nur noch geil. Apple TV ist der Hit.

What is the warranty for a refurbished iPhone 5 sold by Apple Store in Germany ?

So, I bought iPhone in Germany September 21st 2012 and they have replaced it under the warranty. I got refurbished device today. Is the warranty the same?

Unless things are different in Germany due to consumer protection laws, your replacement iPhone will be carry a warranty of 90 days or the remainder of the original warranty period from your former iPhone, whichever is longer.
