US Bank Cash+ CLI

Was really surprised to get an offer to raise my limit on this card the other day.  I've only had the card for about 1 year and a few months and they offered to raise it to 10k from 6k with a 5 dollar bonus -- based on a review as of October 16, 2014.  I also have a regular Cash rewards card that I've had since 2011 and that limit remains at 3500 and never an offer to increase.  Although, I asked once for a HP and was declined.  Subsequently, they did lower the apr on the regular card to 13.99. Anyways, I answered their 2 questions and voila:  Congratulations!Congratulations. Subject to final credit processing, your credit line will increase by $4,000.00, raising your total credit line to $10,000.00 for this account. Please allow 2-3 business days for final processing, after which time any new credit line will be available. You will also receive written confirmation via U.S. Mail in 7-10 business days. I assume since Barclays gave me a 9500 limit in Aug and USAA increased  2 of my cards from 5k to 11k last month, that US BANK wants to remain competitive, which is fine by me -- I'll take it!!

  • Profit Center : Reflect - Vendor, Customer, Bank/Cash Balance

    Dear Experts,
Ref. : Reflect - Vendor, Customer, Bank/Cash Balance, Balance Sheet GL Accounts - Profit Center wise.
When we do postings to P&L Items, we assign a CO / Cost Object. Such Cost objects may be Orders, Cost Centers, etc., which has a Profit Center assigned to it.
Now, we wish to view Balance Profit Center wise.
    My Concerns :
    1.  Can Vendor, Customer, Bank/Cash Balance, Balance Sheet GL Accounts - Profit Center wise. Since we do not assign CO objects to such line items, but the correspondense line items (P&L GL) has a CO object.
    2.  If yes, how do we move balance of such items, to Profit Center / profit Center wise.
Experts, please help me to understand the concept.
    Regards,
    Hussein.

    Hi,
Are you in ECC activated new G/L? If yes, then you can define Profit Center as Document Splitting Characteristic for General Ledger and profit center will be in the AR/AP line item as well in ledger view (though you don't enter profit center during document entry).
You cannot give the Profit center in line item level to the Subledger accounts like vendor and customers.Vendor and customer accounts take the profit center from the offsetting entry. If want to see the profit center to the particular document, open the document go to Environment field and select Balance Sheet Adjustment option.
If you want to see the Profit center wise payables and receivables, use T.code GR55 and take report group 8A90 for Periodic Receivables and 8A91 for Payable.
If you want to see the all payables with Profit center use Table BFOK_A for vendors BFOD_A for customers.
    Regards,
    Viswa

  • Can not search vouchers on bank/cash statement lines

    Hi...
I'm not able to find vouchers on bank/cash statement lines

Verify that the CTIManager service is activated and is running on the respective CallManagers?
If the service is activated and running across the cluster, then initially try restarting the service on the Subscriber to which the phones are registered when it is convenient to do so.
In order to activate CallBack the CTIManager service is required. Ordinarily this is activated when you activate the Extented Functions service if not already activated.
If the CTI service is stopped for example and you then try to initiate Callback you will receive the same error that you refered to above 'CallBack cannot be activated on xxx'.
    Hope this helps.
    Allan.

  • Welp, I did it (US Bank Cash+)

One part of me kept saying, "DON'T DO IT!" but I just couldn't help myself!!  I app'd for the US Bank Cash+.  Unsurprisingly, I received the 7-10 days message, stating my the application is subject to further review.  So what's my next step?  Do I call in immediatlely or do I wait a day or two?   I see others have had luck in the past with reconning, so hoping maybe I have the same fortune, but wasn't sure what my best route to take would be.

I would call them for sure, which I'm sure I did the same thing when I got that message.Do you know what number you called?  I'm seeing several different ones on the Backdoor #'s Sticky, so I'm not sure which one is appropriate.

  • US Bank Cash+ [UPDATE---APPROVED]

Ok so I posted this in someone elses thread but I'm kind of looking for responses/opinion/experiece. Today I got a preapproval letter from US Bank for their Cash+ Visa Signature card with the terms of 0% for 18 months then 13.99 after, which is the same rate as my Citi card and ok rewards it looks like. My question is how sensitive are they to inquires and new accounts. I have anywhere between 8-15 inquires (depending on what CB they pull) from this year alone and a handful of new accounts. I'd like to start a relationship with them but I have a feeling they may deny me for those two things. What are your thoughts?  UPDATE: 7-21-15 Application has been approved, and it's my bday. Time to celebrate!!!!!! Timeline:7-2-15 received pre-approval letter in the mail.7-2-15 app'd online7-7-15 got a letter stating they could not verify info on the app, called in before this though.7-20-15 got another letter stating could not verify info on app. Called again 7-21-15 morning called in and automated system said it's being reviewed, talked to underwriting department and it sounded promising.7-21-15 late afternoon called automated system again, status changed to approved.now another 7-10 days before I get the card. All in all this card would have taken about a month to get, about the same amount of time as my Diners card.

I got 2 Cash+ cards, one before they allowed online apps and one after. For the first one they pulled EX, for the second they pulled EQ. They are also known to pull ARS / IDA and so if they show a large number of inquiries they might do crazy things like give you a cash rewards which'd suck. Anyway with my Cash+ that didn't happen, lucky. I never had preapprovals; I did cold apps. With scores around 730-740 I got in twice. APRs on the higher side, no 0%, but I didn't care. The first approval took 9 business days, the second took 5. They are very thorough with whatever they do. I guess. (Then they screwed me over with the Club Carlson but it was partly my fault. That card's going to SD faster than lightning.) On one my categories are car rentals, cell phone, and groceries; and the other has movies, fast food, and restaurants, respectively in the 5-5-2 sets. In the fourth quarter I might swap movies / fast food for sporting goods and dep stores. Then close my REI card. It won't grow much from here.  Oh and CLI comes in both versions. With my REI and first Cash+, I've got CLIs after 6 month intervals, both SPs, as long as requests are <=$2k. They have an online form that's somewhere there in this forum, but not on their site. Don't try that through the CSR. Never got an auto CLI.  Cashback accrues immediately; on the reward details page, you could see whether the transaction got classified as the 5% / 2% category. So far I've not faced a classification issue; though I hold it against Visa for categorizing Car2Go and ZipCar as non-rental "transportation-other". Hey Goshida!  So, I'm aware of the online "CLI form/link" that's floated around for sometime (I have the links saved somewhere); and if memory serves me right, does that still hold true for SP CLIs for up to $1,500?  How recent have you done one via that method?  I just got promotional SP CLIs recently from my Kroger and Cash+ but would definitely fill the void in between the next ones

They pulled TU. Now, if you decide to submit the offer just be aware that it takes a while to learn the results in the event you don't get an instant approval. US Bank is known for their manual reviews but I believe you can contact UW to check the progress of your application. They ended up contacting me since mine went into pending due to verification.Ok, my TU is in the 780's range and has the least amount of inquires. I'll give it a go.

10000 and 12% on any withdrawals above 15000 . Whre to set this limit ?
How will this cycle  be done and will it be posted to GLs by this interest

    Please respond .

There are two defined interest calculation types in the SAP

    1. Balance interest calculation.
    2. Item interest calculation.
System defined variant for balance interest calculation type

  • AR receipts defaulting to old bank cash account after new bank setup

    Hi,
I set up a new bank in my payables system and changed all the account settings. When we make a receipts in our AR, the cash account defaults to the old bank account.
    Is there step I missed?
    Thanks All
    A/A

When I go to Receivables--Setup--Receipt Classes. It doesn't let me change the cash account. Yes, I see the old account number there. The payment method here is the new payment method.

  • Bank Cash Transactions Uploading

    Hi,
In oracle Apps 11i , cash management we implemented a new set of books and a new operating unit. Now in the new operating unit when we upload bank statements, all transactions are uploaded successfully except for the cash transactions. Although the transaction code is defined in the bank account. What other setup/options/profiles should we check.
    Thank you

    Thanks Anil.
I have sent you a sample bank statement file on your email.
I have realised in the Bank accounts the following are not specified by the super user, I wonder if that is the reason for the cash tansactions issue !
the application navigation: Payables Super User->Setup->Payment->Bank->Bank Accounts
-Gl Accounts tab-> confirmed Receipts (not specified by super user)
-Receivables Options: all accounts (not specified by super user)
-more receivables options: all accounts (not specified by super user)

  • Discover Double Cash CLI

I just requested the double cash offer on the last day of my last statement. A few days later, I received an email from Discover saying I was getting a CLI. It was just over a 30% increase. Has anyone else found they were given a CLI after signing up for this promotion? I'm wondering if Discover isn't trying to increase spending power, in hopes that people will end up in debt, having to pay a lot of interest as a result of the promotion. It could potentially be a good way fr them to make their money back and then some. Just thought it was interesting that I rarely get CLIs and I just happen to get my biggest one ever from them right after signing up.

    Kostya1992 wrote:
Can someone enlighten me here or is this how it works? 1. Discover buys an espensive insurance package2. Discover starts throwing money at people, offering some amazing promotions3. Promotion ends, variable APR kicks in, APR ticks for a few months or years and person defaults on Discover, unable to pay4. Discover files an insurance claim, getting the full apr-inflated balace paid back to them by insurance, having already profitted from swipe fees + previous payments5. Discover sells account to collection agency, making even more $$$$ Am I missing anything?I seriously doubt they could recoup the entire balance from insurance and then sell the debt on assignment; though, I have no idea how these things work behind the scenes. I would assume that once the balane is paid, by whomever, then it can't be collected further.

  • US BANK Cash+ Online Recon Questions

I didn't think the Cash+ was an online app, but I noticed it on the website the other day.  This is the card that I really really want.  I opened an Elan/Comerica to get in the door with them hoping that would increase my chances if it ever was an online app.  I had to go through the whole income verication process to get it.  Yeah, I had heard that they were strict! So I apped and got the 7-10 message.  I called the next day and was told it was rejected due to recent inquiries.  However the rep said it didn't seem like there were that many and he would submit it for manual processing. So my first question is about the automated phone status system.  Does it update when it is rejected and recon?  It said being checked for verification when I first called and then denied.  It still says denied now, but I did not check after I spoke with the rep to find out if there were any changes.  On recon does it update to something different or does it just simply stay at rejected while they recon it? My second question is about recon with US Bank.  How often do they approve on recon?  It seems like some banks are rather pushovers when you recon.  Is US Bank the same or are they pretty strict?  My third question is about getting a different card upon recon.  On the online app it says that if I am denied I will be considered for another product.  I really don't want another product, but I guess if I can upgrade later I would take it.  Do they often give you a different card on recon, if they do approve upon recon? I promise I will not app for another card if I get this one.  Actually, I think if I get this card I don't have any other cards I would even consider, except may the Citi DC card.  (As an everyday card it would be only slightly better than others, but I also think I could PC my Dividends card later too.)

It was already pushed to manual review. US Bank is rather strict in that regard.2) If it's a Cash Rewards card, you want to activate that card and treat it like the friend it is to your US Bank relationship. 1% isn't terrible, and using this card will get you the history you want to build to either PC to a Cash+ later, or app for a Cash+ later.3) if they send you a Cash+ card, Congratulations! I started with a CashRewards from 2009 (actually I think it was some old form of a Perks card, but still 1%) and I used it for literally everything, because all my other cards were loaded down with BT offers and limited credit remaining. They called me in 2013 to give me the Cash+.Just in the last week I PC'd the Cash Rewards to a second Cash+ card.

  • US Bank Cash+ APR reduction

Just approved today for the Kroger 123 card @ $1,500.  Asked for reconsideration to $5,000 and will find out Friday or Saturday on that.  Decided to call to see if they could lower my APR on the Cash+.  CSR said I had an offer to lower APR from 15.9 to 13.9 for six months.  I took the offer since I have a $2,000 balance on the Cash+.

I got the Fred Meyer card, although I'm not using it much because this one is really just a 1% card routed to my Fred Meyer Rewards account. The other 1% for shopping at FM, I get anyway, regardless of card. I think mine is a little different from the Kroger card because with the Kroger card you have to buy Kroger branded goods to get the better points return. I also got a temporary APR reduction on my first Cash+ a few months ago, from 18.99% to 16.99% to September 1.  Not much of a benefit, but it's free to do so I figured why not. I tried the on-line $1,500 CLI request on this first Cash+ a few weeks ago. Seems to be a SP, but got the denial letter in the mail today, still "stuck" at $14,500. I did get a SP Auto CLI in July 2014, about 9 months after getting the card, from $8,500 to $14,500. oh woe is me
