US Cleanse "Address Thrashing" for University Dormitory-ish Addresses

In DS4.1, in the examples below (A & B are University/College Dormitory addresses), the US Address cleanser seems to consistently switch/thrash the output.
For example, the first time through the cleanse if A1 is the input, the process essentially output A2. When A2 is fed through the process, it is cleansed into A1. Behind the scenes we're mapping the PRIMARY_SECONDARY_ADDRESS_BEST_DELIVERY_COMPONENT to an output that in subsequent daily runs is fed into the MULTILINE1 input. Thus, for each daily run, the data thrashes from one value to the other.

We've tweaked various Standardization options to no avail. Note that the thrashing seems to happen in other non-University Dormitory addresses as well.
Any suggestions on how to configure the Cleanser to stop the "thrashing"?

Looks like what you are seeing is assignment of Unique ZIP Codes.
You might be asking, what is a Unique ZIP Code?

When Data Services assigns a Unique ZIP Code, it looks to ensure the city, state, and postcode match. If they agree, the address line is not used in the assignment process. The address information is not used, because the USPS data does not have address level data for records that
have a Unique ZIP Code. I believe this aligns with the USPS regulations regarding these types of addresses.
The secondary issue here with the output is because you are bringing in multilines and then discretely outputting the address component. This might be a case where you need to use some logic to look for Unique ZIP Codes, and then use different output fields for those records. You can identify Unique ZIP Codes, by using the ‘Postcode_Type’ output component and filtering on the value ‘U’.

Why does the display name in older messages change if I update my address book for that E-mail address?

I have recently installed Thunderbird 24.5.0 after upgrading a WinXP machine to Win7. I have discovered a strange problem with older mail that was imported from Outlook Express 6.
The pastor of my church uses a generic E-mail address <[email protected]>. This address belongs to the position, not to an individual. We recently had a new pastor come to the church, and I updated my entry for this E-mail address to reflect the new person's name. This is fine for new mail sent since the new person arrived, but Thunderbird has also applied the new name to older mail from the previous pastor. This is very confusing, since the current pastor could not have sent mail from that address prior to her start date.
How can I get Thunderbird to stop changing the Display Name in archival messages that were sent by the previous pastor prior to September 01, 2013? I have not encountered this situation before using Netscape 4.x Mail, Outlook Express 6, and Windows Mail (Vista version).

Of course it does. It looks for a match between the sender's email address and a Contact in your address book. You've edited the Display Name for this account so it gets applied to any message with that email address if that's how your Address Book is configured.
In the Contact card for this address, you can tell it whether or not to use the "real" email address within the message, or the Display Name from your Address Book. Telling it to use the name found in the message ''might'' resolve this, but it depends on how the sender has formatted it. If he includes his name then Thunderbird should be able to resolve it, and you just add both configurations to your Address Book as two separate Contacts, rather than modifying the existing entry.
However, in this situation you're using the same email address for two distinct people, so Thunderbird may not be able to know who sent the old messages. If both have sent using "rector@stpeterscobourg.org" without any personalization then Thunderbird won't be able to differentiate between them.
I have to say that I haven't recently tried using different display names with the same email address, so I don't know for sure if TB can use the display name constructively. If there's nothing in the old messages to tell you which sender wrote them, then TB can't do anything about it.

Are you sure this MAC address 58:b0:35:83:72:86 isn't some type of Apple device? Its OUI is registered to apple. How do clients get ip addresses DHCP? It appears that the IP 10.184.1.224 is statically assigned to your ap-manager and that this client 58:b0:35:83:72:86 is either getting that same IP from DHCP or the client is statically assigning it themselves.

You will need to remove it as your rescue email : log into your account via the 'manage your apple id' button on http://appleid.apple.com, select the 'Password And Security' section on your account's screen, and answer the two security questions that show - you should then be taken to another screen where you can change or remove your rescue email address.
Then try logging out of your account and then log back in and see if you can then use it as your primary email address.

You can set up an iCloud account which makes the iCloud email address you choose the Apple ID and thus the login for it:

though I have to say I think it's more sensible if the ID is another address, both for security reasons (so people don't know what the login is) and as a contact address from Apple if the account were to stop working and they needed to contact you. So personally I would to to System Preferences, enter the GMail address which is an ID, and then choose a nerw @icloud.com address.
If she has her own iCloud account she will need either her own computer or her own user account on your Mac to be able to make use of it. You should note that under Apple's terms of use Apple IDs are only available to children of 13 and over.
As to purchasing apps, this is nothing to do with iCloud: it's iTunes, and the login can be different. So you can all sign into the same iTunes account but have different iCloud accounts. Or she can have her own iTunes account if she is of suitable age (credit card needed for purchasing apps).
If you have other children you should be aware that any one Mac or device can create only three iCloud accounts - this is tied to the serial number, not the user account, and once reached cannot be bypassed. You can of course sign into an iCloud account created on another device.

You may use the same Apple ID for iTunes and App Store purchases, but using different iCloud Apple IDs is recommended.
If you use the same iCloud account on your iPhones it will sync all of your contacts, reminders, and notes automatically and it could be a pain. I don't know exactly how you would want to have the iCloud accounts set up on the Macs, because I don't know exactly how you use them. (I am assuming you share?). But you can do whatever you like, you can even keep the same iCloud accounts, etc but you may want to disable the syncing of certain items, because reminders for ones phone popping up on the others automatically would probably get annoying, but that is just me.

Did you create a NEW Apple ID or did you change the email address for your OLD Apple ID? This will affect how you update apps in the future.
Anyway, go to Settings/iTunes&App Stores, log out, then log in with the new ID.

This sounds like the age old problem with keychain & Safari. I don't know of a way to solve it without using something like 1Password.
The iOS app has it's own built in browser, so it has more control over what gets autofilled. Safari on OS X has an 1Password extension that handles account selection & autofill etc.
Keychain is great in principle, but it quickly falls down when you need tight integration with many ID's & different use cases (work, home etc).
I'd suggest you submit feedback to Apple about your thoughts. I did so years ago about this issue & this is how far we have come (back to the point where me.com synced passwords) :^)

Other tools like lastpass or keypassx may also help if you want to truly segregate password storage, but that doesn't fix autofill, the way around that issue is to dedicate one browser for work.

Go to settings>itunes & app store and if it shows your old apple id at the top then tap on it then sign out and then sign in with your new apple id email.

There is some confusion in my mind about your post. Let me describe what I think you mean, let us know if I misunderstood...
I'm assuming you already have an Apple ID that you used to define an iCloud account (or an older dot mac account), and the iCloud account has "[email protected]" as its email address. But the Apple ID for this account is not the same as the email address I just listed, perhaps your apple ID is something like "xyz@???.com" and what you want is to use the ID, "mySpecialName@???.com". [the "???" could be mac, icloud, or something else]
If I've got it right so far, then when creating a **new** Apple ID, you must now use @icloud.com. If you are trying to define "[email protected]", then that is the problem - "mySpecialName" is already associated with @icloud.com, because your current @mac.com also has [email protected] as an alias, so that name is no longer available.
Also, you cannot change the current ID from "xyz" to "mySpecialName" on an existing account. So either way, you can't get the ID that you desire.
Let us know if this is not what you mean.

The Recipient class provides the

P.S. You can't remove the attachment for a specific email address. You need to send separate emails individually - with an attachment and without. In the ItemSend event handler you can check out the Recipients list and copy the source item
if you need to send the item without an attachment. Remove the "blocked" recipients from the original mail item and set them on the copied one. Then remove the attachment and send the copy.
