Use get-mailboxstatistics to report individual email sizes.
Hello all,
In exchange2010 I use the "get-mailboxstatistics" to report on users with large email boxes.
Is there a way to use report in a csv file the individual email sizes in a particular users mailbox? e.g. instead of just saying "user Albert.Einstein has a mailbox of 512mb", digging deeper and saying "of Albert Einsteins 512mb there are 5*50mb emails".
That would be great if there was... then i could narrow down the chumps who send movies in company emails.

I do not think we could get all emails' size, but we can list the folder via the command below
Get-MailboxFolderStatistics -identity <User> | Select Name, FolderSize

There is no option to view individual mail sizes. But by default all the mails are reduced to 32KB and you can request more and you go on reading.

The email appears 100% legit however i only use firefox as a backup browser and dont use it more than 2-3 times a month i just did a check on my firefo to see if it ever crashed without me remembering and it says this.
"Submitted Crash Reports
No crash reports have been submitted."
How do i resolve someone else using my email add whe nthere submiting crash reports?

My point was that if you had access to the original messages claiming to come from you, you could do something about it by sending copies to an anti-spam or anti-abuse organization. If someone sends messages to someone else claiming to come from you, you do not have access to those messages. -

for get-mailboxStatistics ,first check the all object member and properties of by using below
Get-mailboxstatistics <anymailboxName>|get-member
if you see the ,ForwardingAddress,DeliverToMailboxAndForward properties , then you can pipe these two with Get-mailboxstatistics .
If so ,
Get-Mailbox -resultsize unlimited |where{$_.forwardingAddress -ne $null} |get-MailboxStatistics |ft name,forwardingAddress,DeliverToMailboxAndForward,lastlogontime
if not ,
You can't pipe these two with Get-mailboxstatistics along with lastlogontime.
Then ,
you have to use get-mailboxStatistics -resultsize unlimited|ft name,lastlogontime

How can I get Sender Display Name using Get-MessageTrackingLog?
Hi, could you please help me. We have got a monitoring system at work which monitors some devices, so if something wrong happening with these devices email is sent from MASTER email (Customer Name <[email protected]>) to us. I'm trying to get a list
of all emails of that monitoring mailbox using PoweShell command
Get-MessageTrackingLog and export them to CSV file. In the end of the day I need CSV file with 3 columns: TimeStamp, MessageSubject and SenderDisplayName! Yes, I need Sender Display Name cause all emails are sent from one MASTER email
(Customer Name <[email protected]>) and only difference between them is sender Display Name which is cexactly what I need.
This is the code I'm using:
Get-MessageTrackingLog -EventId Receive | Select Timestamp, MessageSubject, Sender | Export-CSV C:\NagiosAlerts.csv

So how can I get sender Display Name(Customer Name) using Get-MessageTrackingLog insted of Sender email (<[email protected]>)?The DisplayName is not recorded in the Logs only the EmailAddresses are so there Is nothing you can do with Message Tracking to get this the way you want. You need to look at another property may soureIP or include something in the Subject
of the Email (eg a customerId in the Subject is a much better option) to give you some differentiation. Otherwise you need to access the Email directly from the Mailbox it was sent to and then extract the DisplayName from the message (or use a journaling
on those emails etc)

"There was an error while loading the message. Please try again later." is a recent (3/4 days) error message I get when accessing my AOL emails. I can access the page and move them between states but cannot open them to read. Chrome, IE and AOL's own desktop open emails OK & can access them from the wife's PC using my AOL details. Have cleaned the history tab of everything in FF, have also removed it with add/rem progs and reinstalled - still I get the above message.

How do you get Mountain Lion Mail to show sent email size?
I upgraded to mountain lion I think a couple months ago so I don't remember exactly when I lost this feature, but in Snow Leopard for sure there was an option that when composing a new email, a little bar across the bottom of the email showed the size of your email so when you were adding attachments you could see the size your email was getting to be. I obviously haven't used that in a while because I ahvent' sent attachments in a long while, but I have recently started to do that again and tonight when I was adding files, there was no bar across the bottom of the email at all so I have no idea what size my email was. Even when I hit send and the progress bar in the bottom left of Mail ("Mail Activity") that use to show the file size right underneath the bar also now no longer shows the size so I have absolutely no idea how big the email I sent was.
Can anyone tell me how to get the option back to show the email size of the mail your composing in that little bar on the bottom of your email as well as the file size to display as you are sending in "Mail Actiivity" window? I have a new iPad. I am using Comcast as my email provider but when I send a message, it pulls up the facebook email addresses for my contacts instead of the addresses stored in my comcast account. How can I get rid of the Facebook email addresses? The comcast addresses are stored in the comcast (xfinity) app. I do not use the "mail" or "contacts" apps ....I go straight to comcast (xfinity). I wish I could start over!!! thanks.
iPadI could be wrong, but it sounds like Facebook imported to your contacts. I have the Xfinity app on my new ipad, too, but none of my stored contacts from the online version are showing, only what I manually entered into the iPads contacts are there. When I did add the FB app, I did not grant it permission to push and pull from my ipad (not a fan of FB knowing every detail about me), so that may be where our difference lies. You could try to open the app and change your privacy settings, or delete it and then reinstall without granting permissions to integrate.
I'm sure someone here with a lot more knowledge then me can probably diagnose your issue better, though. Good luck! -

My iCal has frozen after I tried to paste info from an email into a reminder. I get a "server reports an error" message with what I tried to paste in the box. Calendar is frozen and will only close by forcing it. Any help?
Did another window open with the pasted information? If so, try hitting "enter/return" key and "delete" key at the same time. That should get rid of the current action on the ical, the extra window should go bye-bye, and all should be fine with the world.

Just the name? Don't ever recall that being a feature. However, for Mail and Messages (and a few other apps): Settings app > General > Text Size

Get-rid of the format we get using Get-ADuser in a CSV. Send CSV data in an email in table format

I am using get-ADuser in order to extract a few AD attributes of some users. I export the users and their respective attributes to a CSV. However, the output in CSV i get has the following format in each cell for its AD attribute.
@{description=<Value>} or @ { info=<Value>}
I have tried to use Expandproperty switch in order to get rid of it but it does not accept null values and hence if a user has no value for a said attribute, the previous value is copied for that user too. However, without expand property it gives me the
above format in the output.

oReportClientDocument.getDatabaseController().getDatabase().getTables() will trutns Tables collection object that contains the table information for the report. Then use get() to get Itable object.
